As a merman he is not affected by the change in water temperature, but when it freezes over he can no longer spend his days watching the man on the shore. Title: A Laughing Owl Series: Astrogator, # 3 Author: A.C. Ellas Genre: Fantasy/ Holiday Length: Novella (54 pages) Publisher: Extasy Books (December 15th, 2014) Heat Level: Explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥♥3Hearts Blurb: The colonists all report seeing the same thing—Santa Claus.
With their maiden voyage behind them, the crew of the Laughing Owl is sent on a mission to ferry scientists to an odd planet where, according to reports, Santa Claus has been sighted, flying high in a sleigh pulled by reindeer. Nobody’s sure what Santa’s up to—he hasn’t delivered a single present.
Captain Nick Steele agrees with the scientists who propose that Santa is a mass hallucination and probably the result of some unknown compound in the water, air, or food. But Astrogator Cai isn’t so sure, because if Santa is a hallucination, everyone on the planet is having the same hallucination, identical to the smallest detail.
As Christmas approaches, will the crew of the Laughing Owl solve the mystery of the hallucinogenic Santa or will the man prove to be real by delivering presents in the dead of night?
Review: Interesting yet strange story. As Cai tries to determine if everyone seeing Santa is real or not. Along with the sexy captain and the crew, it is a race to determine what is going on.
Hot sex between Cai and Nick add spice to this mystery.
Good read.

Title: A Nip of Good Cheer Series: A Loving Nip, # 1 Author: Charlie Richards Genre: Paranormal/Holiday Length: Novella (124 pages) Publisher: Extasy Books (December 15th, 2014) Heat Level: Explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5Hearts Blurb: Just a little Love Bite: When you ignore your senses, you can miss out on something pretty important.
Daystrum Striplan, second in command of the Esson vampire coven, knows he’s been distracted the past month or two. He just can’t figure out what tugs at his mind…or rather…whom. Every night Daystrum’s dreams are plagued by a slender male figure with striking blue eyes. When he wakes, his fangs ache with the need to sink them into the man’s column of tanned flesh and taste his blood.
Unfortunately, Daystrum can’t remember where or when—hell, even if—he’s met the man in his dreams. Then, the evening of the coven Christmas party, Daystrum scents the object of his obsession, Korbin Harris. He’s not the only one who notices the human, though. Jaymes, the master of a visiting coven also expresses his interest, and that vampire doesn’t have to beg forgiveness for forgetting their first meeting…a meeting that Korbin remembers.
Can Daystrum earn the forgiveness and affection of his wayward beloved?
Review: Korbin is a smart, intelligent young man in college who volunteers as a big brother to 17-year-old Paul. As he and his friends attend a Christmas party at Adalric’s house, he comes face to face with the vampire, Daystrum, who he can’t get out of his head since he met him. Once Daystrum realizes Korbin is his beloved and that he didn’t recognize him when they first met, he sets out to claim the sexy human before someone else does.
I loved how festive the party was and how in the middle of it Korbin dropped everything to go to help Paul with Daystrum’s aide. I couldn’t believe the accusation that Paul was accused of. But was glad everyone came to support and help him in his time of need.
Fantastic story with a lot of drama and some hot sex between Daystrum and Korbin. I can’t wait to read the next story. Highly recommended.

Sheriff Brandon Schofield and Finn Austen are still struggling to overcome the ghosts of the past and Finn’s torture at the hands of his abusive partner, Dominic Bateman. Meanwhile an adult movie company has moved operations to an abandoned warehouse in Clear Water Creek and its stars are vanishing.
Soon Brandon’s investigation leads him to Iowa and he finds the men involved have ties to Finn’s past…
Purchase Link: http://www.extasybooks.com/Fade-to-Black/?keyword=scarlet%20Blackwell Review:CONTENT ADVISORY: This title contains scenes of dubious consent, rape, and excessive violence. Warning: extreme content—has snuff films and violence
I really liked this book. I actually read this book before the others, and I was able to follow a long and enjoy it even though there are two books ahead, which I may say I just had to go read.
I am a hopeless romantic and the love between Brandon and Finn is sweet, sincere, and passionate. Finn has a lot of issues and Brandon is a caring respectful lover and is doing his best to help Finn work through his past.
Brandon is a sheriff and alerted that there may be an illegal adult filmmaker in his town doing snuff films. He finds the warehouse and stops a film in progress. He makes some enemies that know about his lover’s past and intend to take revenge on him,
So, does Brandon find this filmmaker? Do the bad guys get their revenge? Does Finn survive? Does Brandon find out what he needs to further his relationship with Finn? I’m not telling you. Go read the book. It’s worth it.
If you like hot sex, angst, loving intense relationships, stories that are out of the box and push your limits, and some mystery, maybe even some BDSM, try this! Oh yeah! How did I forget men in uniforms?
Title: Nolan Series: Whitedell Pride, #3 Author: Catherine Lievens Genre: Paranormal/ Shifter Length: Novella (121 Pages) Publisher: Extasy Books (December 1st, 2014) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5Hearts Blurb:You can’t outrun the past, especially when it comes back to get you.
Nolan has been in the scientists’ hands for months. He’s finally rescued, but it’s only to be abandoned in a snowy Whitedell, alone. Luckily, for him he’s a cat shifter, and who wouldn’t want to adopt a cute kitty like him? That’s how he ends up in the middle of a house full of felines so much bigger than him, who could eat him for breakfast. They don’t, but a new problem arises. Nolan meets his mate, a mate he doesn’t want.
Casey ran from his birth pride years ago and spent most of his life alone in his cheetah form. After being rescued by Dominic, the pride’s Alpha, he is happy to find his mate, even if it seems Nolan doesn’t want him. Just as they start solving their problems, someone from Casey’s past comes back, someone who will do anything to have him back, even hurting Casey, or worse, Nolan.
Will Nolan and Casey be able to save their budding relationship from Casey’s past, or will they be separated forever?
Review: This is part of the Whitedell Pride series and they should be read in order. Each story gives you a new romancing couple but the stories mingle with the previous books. The characters are beautifully written with quite a lot of heart and soul put into them. They also usually have a bit of pain in them that will draw you to them more. These two characters in this story are great examples of that. In this particular story Casey is the more dominant of the two shifters. However, there is just something about him that makes you love him a bit more.
Nolan is pretty much a black house cat shifter and a bit confused. It is actually funny with the way he is. He had been captured and held for three months in a lab. He had been experimented on when a guard with a heart saved him by helping him escape. He is found by a little old lady who thought he was just a normal cat. Although she is a larger shifter, she doesn’t realize what he is. She took him to a big house full of shifters and one very big surprise. He has found his mate, but now this is the funny part. He has never liked sex, so after having a talk with his mother he finds out why.
Casey had been kicked out of his pride for being gay. His parents had been killed saving him. Now he has been living with the Whitedell pride and was happy for the first time in his life. Even more happy when he smells his mate. They have their normal troubles at first but that sure does change after Nolan’s talk with his mother, but they seem to have more trouble coming for them.
I had a blast reading this story. It gave me almost everything I could want in a book. It gave me sexy men, the amazing paranormal world, shifters, excitement, lots of action and adventure, dangerous situations, crazed alpha’s, angst, huge families with crazy kids and lots of amazingly hot sex. I would recommend reading this story if you love all of that and so much more.

Title: The Vampire’s Geek Series: Wolves of Stone Ridge, #26 Author: Charlie Richards Genre: Paranormal/ Vampire/ Werewolves Length: Novella (129 Pages) Publisher: Extasy Books (December 1, 2014) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5Hearts Blurb: Out of the Cage: Running away from trouble is wise…unless trouble follows you wherever you go.
Toby Dallow followed his employer, mentor, and friend, Edwin Aldridge, to the small mountain town of Stone Ridge, Colorado. While he’d never begrudge Edwin the bond he has with his wolf shifter mate, Toby longs for something like that of his own. When a handsome stranger picks him up in a grocery store, at first, he thinks it’s a joke. Learning the man is sincere, Toby takes advantage. After all, he thinks not too many sexy studs are into overweight science geeks.
Blamed for something he didn’t do, Tullion Kuznetsov is on the run. Traveling back roads in search of a safe place to hole up, he stops for supplies. His vampire senses fixate on the blood of a short, plump human browsing the cereal aisle. Drawing closer, mixed feelings assault him when he realizes he’s finally found his beloved. Unable to resist his other half’s siren call, Tullion embraces the gift Fate has given him…at least, for one night. Then, he’ll need to walk away. After all, how can he, in good conscience, involve the shy, quiet Toby in his problems?
Review:This is part of the Wolves of Stone Ridge series and they need to be read in order. Each story is intertwined with each other, but focuses on a new romantic couple. It gives you an insight into their amazing world and lives. I always love Charlie’s books. She gives you characters that you will fall in love, cheer on in their conquest, want to fight besides them when defending their mates and well the true reason is that she gives you sexy men every time. I grew up reading m/f romance stories and it wasn’t till about two years ago when I started reading gay romance. I have got to tell you that I enjoy them more and Charlie has been one of the reasons for that. She gives you such a great story line that involves love, a bit of pain, some danger, and a lot of excitement.
Tullion like many others made the mistake of entering his coven leader’s room, seeing his body and taken the knife out of him to try to save him. Now we all know what happens to humans who make that mistake, but for Tullion it meant he had to run and try to find out who set him up. Three month’s on the run with no idea who had betrayed him, he ends up in Stone Ridge. Stopping at the store got him more than just the food he needed, he had found his beloved. After one night with his mate, he runs fearing the vampires he senses.
Toby was a human who had basically been adopted by the shifters. So he finds a sexy man hitting on him, he is shocked to find out that this man was his. Then the idiot ups and leaves him, thinking that he was protecting Toby. Toby is just not some little human, he has a brain. Now all he has to do is to get his mate back.
I loved the way the characters when they seem more like a person I hang around with. Toby is not one of those tall, well-built men with perfect abs and butt. He is tender, gentle, a scientist, geeky with a bit of weight on him. He is perfect to Tullion and Tullion knows that he is in love with his beloved.
I would recommend reading this book to everyone who loves the paranormal world, dies to get their hands on shifters and vampires, love the protective side that they have for their mates, the excitement, action, and dangerous situations. This story, as most of Charlie’s books captured my attention the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything that I could possibly want in a story and I cannot wait to read the next one in this amazing series.

Title: Batting Cage Series: Master and Servant, #1 Author: Crawford Rhine Genre: BDSM/Erotic Romance Length: Novel (198 pages) Publisher: Extasy Books (November 15th, 2014) Heat Level: Explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥♥3Hearts Blurb: In this world populated only by men, Brand is the uncommon man who is sexually attracted to them, which comes in handy when he is delivered to his new Master in a cage.
Brand is a marked man in a world of unmarked men. The mark identifies him as someone who is eligible to go into Service. He has been ready for this opportunity for years and thinks it will never happen. Brand moves on with his life until he receives a call from a Master, Trent Parks. He turns out to be a well-known professional baseball player and unlike anyone Brand has ever met. There is an age difference that Brand has to negotiate, being the older one, as well as the dangers of being with a famous person. Brand discovers, much to his surprise, that not only does he like Trent as a Master, but also he is falling in love with him.
Review: Brand, a servant, seemed like a very sincere and honest man. Trent, a baseball player, seemed insecure at times but strong and sure at other times. They made a great couple, seemed to get along well, and had many things in common with each other.
I was highly upset by things that happened to Brand against his will by others. I felt it was wrong and demeaning. But was glad that Trent took charge of the situation and brought those to justice who were involved.
This was not a type of book I normally read, as I prefer more story than sex. But it was an o.k. story. I didn’t really care for Trent sharing Brand with others but that was what the author wanted.
This book had a lot of hot sex scenes in it with Trent and Brand as well as others having sex with Brand. A lot more than I was used to. It felt like half the book was sex scenes. Good read.

Heat Level: Explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥♥3Hearts Blurb: To love another is worth the risk of burning out one’s mind.
Captain Nick Steele is young to be in command of a starship, and his Astrogator, Cai, is fresh from the Guild Halls himself, which is not how things are supposed to be done. It’s bad enough that they’re both wet behind the ears, but Nick quickly discovers that he’s irresistibly drawn to Cai like a moth to a flame, with the same relative risks the moth faces.
Cai proves the stronger man when he tells Nick in no uncertain terms that he can’t risk burning out Nick’s mind for the sake of some physical pleasure. As their ship spirals into the dark heart of Tarasch, will Nick ever overcome Cai’s objections to their mutual attraction?

Reviewer: Shorty
Review: Nick and Cai want each other. Cai knows it’s wrong and he is afraid he might accidentally destroy Nick’s mind with his telepathy if things went too far. He decides not to act on his feelings for the sexy Captain.
The Laughing Owl is on their first mission to finish mapping out Tarasch. Beautiful views of space as well as an attack by an unexpected alien ship made for a good read. The dreams shared by Cai and Nick were hot. The actual sex was passionate.
I could actually feel how Cai and Nick felt for one another throughout the entire story. It made me sad that Cai felt they couldn’t be together and that the guild frowns on astrogators being with anyone. Good read.

Title: Dark Star Origins Series: Astrogator #1 Author: A.C. Ellas Genre: Science Fiction/Action-Adventure Length: Novel (181 pages) Publisher: Extasy Books (September 21, 2014) Heat Level: Explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥♥3Hearts Blurb: Insanity comes in many forms.
Two young men travel separate paths toward their destinies. As one claws his way out of the deep hell that is his life toward something better, the other spirals down from the heights of luxury toward madness.
Will the two young men persevere long enough to realize their dreams? Or will insanity drag them into the depths of despair?
Review: Nick is a very bright young man living with daily abuse at the hands of his father until one day he kills him protecting his sister. His life turns for the better when Gilly adopts him and his sister. Nick is then accepted into the school of his choice and begins his training.
Jason is what is considered a brainiac who is bullied and beaten up at school. He begins to hear voices and goes to get tested for PSI. While waiting for the results, his father informs him he’s sending him to military school to toughen him up. Jason is upset and leaves only to be kidnapped after this begins the introduction of Cai who can’t remember anything before waking up in pain and not knowing who he is.
While the story was good, it bothered me that the Guild was able to take teenagers under the age of 18 without their parents knowledge or consent and do surgery on them, changing them. That was highly disturbing to me. Some of the terms used I didn’t understand.
The two young men meet when the cadets are taken to learn about the astrogators.
Title: The Blue Cat Series: N/A Author: Roland Graeme Genre: Contemporary Length: Novel (302 pages) Publisher: eXtasy Books (October 1st 2014) Heat Level: Erotic Heart Rating: ♥♥♥ 2.5Hearts Blurb: After his soldier lover goes off to war, an artist’s devotion to the study of the male physique leads him to Italy and its men.
A titled member of the English aristocracy is not supposed to embarrass his family by becoming a professional artist. Nor is he supposed to take a soldier as a lover after painting him in the nude. But the freethinking viscount does all this, and more. When his lover goes off to war and urges him to feel free to be with other men, the viscount travels to sunny Italy in search of new subject matter to paint—and new erotic adventures. What he hadn’t anticipated was meeting and falling in love with an American who has chosen to live in Italy. Is it possible to love two men at once, but in different ways?
Or must one always made a choice between two equally seductive alternatives?
Review: The story starts out telling with an opening from the MC saying this “jotting down these reminiscences and offering them for your perusal, Dear Reader.” We then get a little family history. Then this line is the one that should have warned me: “My intention, when I began to write, was to provide a succinct background, to tell you just enough about me to place my erotic adventures in some sort of perspective.” During all this, I still had not learned the narrators name, although he is a viscount.
The viscount after seeing a bronze statue of a naked man a friend of his used, called the same model agency and booked an appointment with him. Geoff a soldier makes money on the side as a professional model posing for artists. The two starting seeing each other regularly as the artist books Geoff for posing sessions. Finally, they both come out and say that they are attracted to each other. From there things go from an interesting beginning to a little dialogue between sex scenes.
Then Geoff gets called into service and has to go to the Middle East for almost a year. Geoff and the viscount decide they should both “feel free to see other guys” as neither is “cut out to be the celibate type.” So while Geoff is off fighting in a war, the viscount gets it on, and on, and on. He starts local then goes to Italy we he stays at The Blue Cat. Needless to say, he has sex with many people. All while waiting for the man he loves to get home from war.
Yeah it started out with promise that quickly lead to porno level sex scenes and dialogue. Every gay stereotype was used I think. Some of it was hot, some was cheesy, some just made me say enough already. The emotions expressed (what there were any) felt hollow and useless. It was all about sex. Sex with Geoff, a soldier Geoff sent home to the viscount, sex with an American, sex with an Italian, oh and multiple partners. More dialogue was spent on describing things then between actual characters unless it was a sex scene. And damn it I still never learned the viscounts name.
I will say this, even though it’s lacking it what I need for a good story it is written very well. It just doesn’t have any really emotion or heart to it. So if you are just looking for some sexual inspirations, this may be for you.

Title: A Thing for Cops Series: N/A Author: Roland Graeme Genre: Contemporary/CopKink Length: Novel (219 pages) Publisher: eXtasy Books (August 7th, 2014) Heat Level: Explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥2Hearts Blurb: Jim Melton has had “a thing for cops” ever since he can remember. So it is only natural that be becomes a police officer himself. As a gay cop, Jim soon realizes that he belongs to a subculture within the law enforcement subculture. His many erotic adventures with both civilians and his fellow cops give new meaning to the phrase, “to protect and serve.”
ISBN: 9781771118576 Product Link: http://www.extasybooks.com/roland-graeme/a-thing-for-cops/ Reviewer: Gigi Review: So Jim likes cops so much he becomes one. He quickly finds a gay cop sub culture and becomes initiated through many tiring repetitive erotic adventures.
The plot is not as thick as all the phallic references I read, but I think this is what most expect for jerk-off material. In that sense, rating it as masturbatory reading, I would still only rate this a 2. The scenes had some fun kink, but the relentless sexual thesaurus became tiring.
Within the opening gambit of one scene, I read the phallic descriptions, fuck stick, prick, cock, aching tool, pouting piss slit, glistening tool, and fuck piston, drooling piss slit, on and on…. The dialogue was amazing, “Your cock really feels good in me. Are you feeling as good as I am?” …..” Hell, yeah.” Add new names, multiple partners and repeat.
Eventually, Jim pairs up, and he and his partner have frequent sex parties, threesomes, and foursomes with other cops to celebrate their anniversary, monthly. Like I said, it’s jerk-off material with a few mildly erotic scenes, without a plot, and meant for the porn industry.

Blurb: Scarlet Blackwell’s first collection of short stories is a mixture. Mostly contemporary, with a fantasy story and a Victorian setting thrown in for good measure, the stories feature lovelorn m/m couples from every walk of life some sportsmen, some porn stars, some mentally challenged. The common theme is love, as always and the finding of that one special person.
Review: Overall, this was a very intriguing collection of stories. There were a few I absolutely fell in love with some I liked a lot and a couple that I felt were ok. There is a bit of something for all tastes.
In My Darkness, I Found a Light ♥♥♥♥4 Hearts Robert is in a bad place in his life. He is unhappy. He doesn’t like being around people. Day to day life and loneliness is getting to him. He bumbles through life each day, depressed, sad, and alone.
This is a very morose story with a happy ending. A tragedy brings two men together. My heart went out to Robert. I see this in so many people these days. I love how the author makes the tragedy and eye-opener for Robert and hopefully anyone in that dark place.
A Tale of Two Halves ♥♥2 Hearts
Luke is a footballer and he is playing against his arch nemesis Dieter. The German is up and coming and everyone loves him even though he has come out as gay. Luke hates him and wants to do him bodily harm. In one attack, they land on top of each other and Dieter taunts him, saying he knows he wants him thrusting his hips into Luke. Luke becomes confused. They get into a fight and both penalized. They both go shower while the game goes on.
Ok. This wasn’t a bad story it just wasn’t for me. There were a lot of football terms. I didn’t quite get and I just didn’t get the violent nature. Having said that, there was a lot of sexual tension and it was hot if you like a rough and tumble type sex.
Guilt ♥♥♥♥4 Hearts Evan is in a bar. He is use to one nightstands and hook ups. He sees a sexy man and approaches. One thing leads to another and he is in Stevens. Evan thinks it’s time for a change. He likes Seven. Suddenly Steve turns on him and makes him leave. Angry Evan goes back the club later and finds Steven again to confront him.
I really liked the premise of his story. This is he sort of story that need t to be longer. I would love to rad more about both of these men. The twist through me for a loop and I sure would like to see what becomes of these two men.
RoMANce ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts Fox Reed is a major name in porn stars and works exclusively for RoMANce studios. He doesn’t like porn for porn sake and only does films with story lines. Jamie Warner is an up and coming actor at a competitor’s studio and has signed to do a movie with Fox. Jamie is always a top and Fox is surprised that Jamie is going to bottom for this film. As soon as he meets Jamie, sparks fly between them. But is there attraction more than just a job?
I have to say that normally the porn type stories aren’t my thing but having said that, this one is an exception. There is a lot of storyline in this short tale and oh, man is the sex smokin hot. It’s a wonder my kindle didn’t catch fire!
This Wave Always Breaks ♥♥♥3 Hearts Karl is faced with his past when his boss hires Daron his ex from 15 years ago as assistant manager.
There is a lot of angst and sadness in this story. There was a lot of potential. This one just fell a bit short for me. I really didn’t connect with Karl. He seemed so whiny and like a teenager not a grown man. I will say that I did find the end to this very satisfactory. There are a lot of characters for such a short story. I do think that if this were a full-length story so that we knew more about the characters and more about Karl, that it would be a pretty good story.
Happy Birthday♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts It’s Lewis’ birthday and he is alone in the office working. A man comes in and proceeds to strip. Being a loner, he can’t figure who would hire him a stripper but he is glad.
Wow. Was this hot! Then the twist came at the end turning a very graphic story into a very sweet one. I loved it.
The Long Road Home♥♥♥3 Hearts Kester has been infatuated with Melek for 5 years though he hasn’t even gone to speak to him. A stranger comes to town and things escalate.
I can’t say much more without spoiling it, but it was a sweet story.
The Rent Collector♥♥♥♥4 Hearts Jacob lives in a slum and can barely make enough to eat little less meat the rent. The collector comes by and is new. He begins having Jacob perform favors in order to stay since his rent is so far behind.
I really liked this. It is a bit angsty and could be considered dubious consent, but once the twist comes at the end, I felt a bit more like I could empathise with William. I felt it was a very sexy story with a satisfying ending. It’s not going to be for everyone but I really liked it a lot.
Homeless♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts
This is one of my favorites of the collection. Michael is a straight man who just broke off with his girlfriend he is rich, handsome and really doesn’t have to have a steady girl. Walking home drunk he stopped in the alley and a young homeless man propositioned him. He gave in and paid but only had $100, so Poe said he owed him another service. Michael swears he won’t be back.
I loved this. It is a bit angsty but it just pushed all my buttons right. I loved the feelings of confusion from Michael and Poe both. It’s sexy with a very good ending. I would have loved more of this story.
Rematch ♥♥♥3 Hearts
This is a second part to the Tale of Two halves. I have to say I liked this one somewhat better. I think if all these parts were combined and this made into a full-length story, it has potential to be very good. I would like to see what happens with Luke and Deiter.
Charlie ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts
I fell in love with Charlie. If I had to pick one favorite of the batch, it would be this one though there a couple close seconds. Charlie is mentally handicapped. He is very childlike but very handsome. Jude is shopping for stuff to make a Charlie Chaplin costume when he meets Charlie and is taken by his looks and charm, though he realizes that Charlie is handicapped and tries to stay away.
Jude has to be applauded for accepting Charlie as the man he is and eventually seeing that he is a wonderful man with needs. I applaud the author for touching on such a topic.
My Love is Me and I am Him
This is more like a poem or flash it’s so short I can say too much but I will say it intrigued me and I’d love to see these men’s story… Controversial… Yes… Intriguing idea? Absolutely.
Title: The Goat Farmer’s Guardian Series: A Paranormal’s Love, #10 Author: Charlie Richards Genre: Paranormal/ Shapeshifter Length: Novella (101 Pages) Publisher: Extasy Books (November 15, 2014) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥4Hearts Blurb: Into the Paranormal World: Sometimes getting a crash course in things unknown doesn’t always end in disaster.
Zander Wheeler knows they’re out there: shape shifters, vampires, and other things.
Having lost his wife over a year ago, Zander finds himself seduced by a married man. Ashamed, Zander asks his friend Logan McByrne to help him sever ties. Logan agrees, and in doing so, reveals a whole new world to him. Zander learns that his lover is a vampire, which is why he’d become so enamored with him. Then, Logan hooks up with a wolf shifter, and to top it off, a massive winged creature—the gargoyle Geoffrey, according to Logan—is claiming he and Zander are mates.
When Zander demands they all leave him alone, save for Logan, they agree. Still, some sixth sense tells Zander he hasn’t seen the last of Geoffrey. He’s right. When one of his billy goats becomes aggressive, Geoffrey swoops in and saves him. With Geoffrey keeping to the shadows, they begin a dialogue. The more they talk, the more Zander realizes they may not be all that different after all.
Except, he’s already been played by one paranormal. Can he open his heart to another?
Review: This is the tenth book in this series and they should be read in order. It gives you a new romancing couple with each story and an insight into their amazing world. A world that fascinates me and draws me in. A world that I would dream to be in.
I have been a fan of Charlie Richards for quite a long time. In fact, the first story was with the Wolves of Stone Ridge. You meet the gargoyles through the other series. There’s always an intriguing mix of stories set in varying locations and with an assortment of all sorts of character types. Different types of the paranormal world are characters in these amazing stories. Characters that I have to tell you will draw you in and have you falling in love.
Zander had met the paranormal’s in such a way that left him feeling raw and scared. He had been not on lied to by a vampire, but the vampire had used his powers to get what he wanted. Now he was afraid to be near any paranormal, even his own mate. Now here he was being protected by a gargoyle and that man just happens to be his mate. Now all he has to do is to figure out how to overcome his past.
Geoffrey has found his mate, and now all he wants to do is to comfort him and show him that now all of them is bad. When the vampire that made him afraid shows up asking for help, it was all he could do not to kill him. With his mates urging he finds them all in a mess.
However, for me it just seemed to go to fast. It was missing that edge that would make it perfect. However, I still loved this book and cannot wait to get my hands on the next one.
This was a fun read, full of quirky attitudes and steamy sex. Although it has a great plot, the story seems to be more about the characters and the love they have for one another. Charlie has always managed to give her readers that tasty delight. The readers get to know the characters pretty well in the earlier stories so that by the time they get to this story they have already fallen in love with Geoffrey and Zander.
It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. Now normally when it is a paranormal story they usually mate and have sex right away. In this story, you have to wait just a bit to get the full ride.
I would recommend reading this story especially if you love sexy men, gargoyles, excitement, danger, feisty attitudes, and tempting turn ons.

Blurb: You never forget your first love, even if you didn’t realise he was.
Sheriff Sean Keller hides a terrible secret – he watched a heinous crime committed eighteen years ago and did nothing to prevent it. Now he finds himself face to face with Eden Gray, the victim of that crime, who is now not so much the boy anymore, but the man. Eden makes Sean sit up and remember those forbidden desires he thought he had locked away forever and the guilt, which has blighted his life.
Review: Sean Keller is the Sheriff of Clearwater Creek. He witnessed a crime involving Eden 18 years ago. He has hidden his secret for all this time since Eden left town. Now Eden has returned and he doesn’t plan to let Sean forget.
I really love this book. It is a bit dark and angsty. There is a deep storyline filled with emotion, twists and suspense.
I loved Sean figuring out his feelings and his love for Eden Gray. I actually was happy at first that Eden and Sean got together, wanting Sean to have happiness and to make peace with his past. I commended him for that and finding how he had loved Eden all these years and carried this burden endeared me to him more (yes, I love the stubborn butthole types).
Eden I wanted to shake sense into him on more than one occasion. I found this story so romantic and even heart wrenching at times. (I am a sucker for heart wrenching romances.) It is definitely not a love at first sight kind of story.
I recommend this story to anyone that loves sexy small-town sheriffs, a nice well-paced character driven romance, some mystery and suspense, lots of angst and some hot mansex. I highly recommend this book.)

Once he’s had Morgan, would that end his obsession? Or would it only feed it?
Review: This is the fourth book in the Carry Me series and they don’t need be read in order.
I have got to tell you that these two men were sex on a stick. I am talking gorgeous men who are so hot together. I loved this book and cannot wait to get my hands on another one of Charlie’s. She has a gift at giving you a story that will have you on the edge of your seat, biting your nails, and panting as if you are in heat. You add in the fact that one of them carries a gun and my world explodes. I can’t tell you how many cold showers I take when I read these books. This one was even hotter than the last.
I love it when a straight man realizes that he has the hots for another man. Ryan was used to gay men seeing as his partner is with another man, but he himself was as straight as can be. That all changes one night at a costume party when he saves a woman and that woman turns out to be a man. He could not get Morgan out of his head. Must have been one hell of a shock for him.
Morgan had been having a bit of difficulties with a fireman that he had thought wanted him. Things had gone very bad and they were just getting worse. So when he was saved by Ryan he knew the detective thought he was a woman, but hadn’t really meant to offer himself. Things didn’t go as planned. However, Ryan couldn’t get him out of his head, and decided to find out.
Things get hot and heavy with them and when danger strikes, it is up to Ryan to keep his man safe. I found myself in love with these two sexy men. They were beautifully written and the story just flowed of the pages for me. If you love sexy men, men with guns, sexy doctors, excitement, surprises, danger and hot sex then this is the one for you.
I would recommend reading this book if you love all of that and so much more. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. This story gave me everything I could want in a story. I loved this book and cannot wait to read the next story.

Review: This is part of a series and they need to be read in order. It was a fascinating story and I was glad to have had a chance to read it. I love the way the felines are actually sweeter then the wolves. They show so much promise and their love for one another makes it even better. Most packs and prides keep separated for some crazy reason, yet Nate’s pride takes in all feline shifters. I don’t think they ever expected to take in a wolf though.
Derick was not a strong wolf in fact I would say he is an omega, although they don’t really give him a title. However, when he heard his alpha talking to the beta’s he knew he had to step in. Here his alpha was talking about going after a group of feline shifters and he had to help them. He knew that if he got caught that his alpha would kill him and the chances that the felines would kill him on site was always there in his mind. What he had not expected was to find his mate.
Nate is a jaguar shifter and he has just found his mate. Now he had several things to do, one in which was to get his little mate to agree. Not only would it keep him safe in the pride but also he just wanted the man. Nate has one little problem and that is he works to hard. So it was up to Derick to show the man how to have fun.
I loved Nate but Derick won my heart. He is not as strong as the others are but he would give up his life to help a group of shifters he did not know. I also loved his quirky attitude and feisty ways. He is a great character that made the story so much better. I loved this book not only because it has two very sexy men, but feline shifters, wolf shifters, powerful alpha’s, feisty mates, danger, excitement and some hot love scenes. If you love all of that and more than you would love this book.
I would definitely recommend reading this book. I loved it and cannot wait to get my hands on the next story. It had captured my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.
