Review: I personally don’t like stories with female parts in it. With that being said I didn’t read the intimate scenes at all. Jericho teams up with a demon to extinguish an evil that is terrorizing people, they discover a female cat shifter is in danger and rescue her.

There’s plenty of adventure, drama and angst along this journey. I did like the sexual tension between Jericho and the demon but did not care for the female at all. It seemed the story was lacking in some areas and had too much sex going on at times. 

I personally did not like this book overall but it was well written.

Review: This book contains mentions of child abuse and molestation of one of the main characters. Kris is tired of the mindless porn he has done for the last six years. He wants something better to suit his creativity. 

Zayne is a casting director who has an eye for picking talented people. When he meets Kris for an audition he sees more than most do behind his outward appearance. He see’s someone who wants more than his current life offers.

I loved the lengths Zayne went to help Kris. He found Kris to be a hard nut to crack personally as Kris is a very private person. But eventually Kris opens up and love blooms. 

Good read.

Review: Edward Kendrick’s is an amazing author who gives you a story that you can sink your teeth into. Perfect Strangers is a tense and soul searching story that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. I have always loved a good story that has men who carry weapons and are hit men. There is just something about them that catches my eye even more than others. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that one is an assassin where the other is a priest.

Alden is a priest who is open and sees the best in those around him. He is a caring man that will catch your heart even more. Now the only problem I have is that priests are not supposed to have sex so that part drove me nuts. Now Raphael is the assassin sent to bring those who are wrong, guilty, and dangerous or down right evil to justice.

When Raphael was young he saw something that put him on to the path he was on. He was said to be damaged beyond repair, but it only takes the love of a good man to show that they were wrong. He doesn’t enjoy killing but sees it to an end. He wants to help those who are victims see the justice.

Now another part that made it really hard to get into was the fact that a priest was good with what Raphael did. It was just too odd. These are definitely two characters that were not what I had expected. You will catch glimpses into each character that will give you the answers you would seek normally. It shows Raphael with not only his intense attitude, but also his sadness. His sadness is what brought Alden’s attention to him.

This book has a different type of plot that is intriguing to a point. The pace is at the perfect speed for this type of story. Now I have to admit that I didn’t really get into it like I should have, but I did enjoy reading it. I have always loved this author’s work and will continue to look for more stories by this amazing author.

I had fun with this and would definitely recommend it.

Review: Kenwei’s sister was supposed to be the one mated to the lake god, so to his surprise he was the one with the dreams. He cannot bind his sister and is torn with what to do. The first pair of twins born to do a duty. A dream that leads one to their true destiny, which leads a big shock to the poor guy.

This is one of those stories about an African tribe and their traditions. I have to admit though that if it had not been such a short story I would have put it back on the shelf. It is a short story that has a lot of heat to it and is very strange to say the least.

It is well written and has a lot of depth to it which was a shock. However I am afraid that I just didn’t connect with this story nor its characters. It is a good read though and I would definitely recommend it.

Jaded by his lover leaving him for a woman, Camdyn Hardy is looking for love and partnership. When he goes to the local shooting range, he only wants to let off a little steam, but meeting Malik Day, a discharged army serviceman is a welcome surprise.

Malik’s issues go farther than just a lack of love. Discharged for defending a fellow gay soldier got him kicked out of the Army and back at home with his bible thumping parents.
