Blurb: Alpha Burke Chastain has his rules, and his rules were law. All must obey them for the safety of the pack family and their friends. His men respect and love him, but he has no tenderness in his life. Having a mate of his own was something he knew was never meant to be.
Dane Quinn is from the hidden plane of Tuath. He has escaped from the breeder stable where men were enslaved for the sole purpose of providing heirs to the highest bidder. He aches to find his true match and have a family with the man that he hoped to love.
With the guidance of the goddess Lanaya, Burke helps save the men of Tuath. He is drawn to Dane—the man who is destined to be his mate. He must put aside his alpha ways and understand that all rules are negotiable, or he will risk losing the man who will bring kindness, love, and cubs into his life.

Review: I came across Lyssa Samuels when she wrote her Royal Mates: Love’s Diamond series and I was fascinated with the world she created. So when I found out that this story was coming out I had to grab it.
The characters are so well detailed and fully developed that you will find yourself in love. The lives they had before they met was horrible and will have you wishing you could hold them close. I also loved the way the words just seemed to flow off the pages. Now I admit that I had not expected it to be so long but it was worth it. My attention was caught from the start and kept it all the way to the end.
Burke is the Alpha of his pack but it was pain that got him to wherehe is now. He and several wolves along with vampires had been captured, tortured and turned into slaves. They had an outside help, that they didn’t know about, to escape from their cages. They were very angry but when the goddess Lanay told them to help some men at first he was angry and refused, till he realized one was his mate. A man he had dreamed about.
Dane and his friends were held prisoner in Tuath. They were to be sold as sex slaves and breeders. They were a very special group for they could give their mates children. However the men that were to buy them were not their mates. He knew who his mate was and he wanted to get to him. So they needed to escape. Now he has to get to his mate and the future they have together.
Dane and his friends are a blessing in this story. A unique group that I have not read about in any other stories. When Dane and Burke get together they go through so much trying to understand each other. The love, anger, pain, fears and miscommunication is what you will always find in the perfect relationship because there is no such thing as perfect. There is also a large amount of magic that is different. I did love how they showed each other that no matter what happens they will always be together.
This is a very long story so I would suggest tucking your feet in and relaxing when you start to read. Because once you start you won’t be able to put the book down. It was perfect for me and I absolutely loved it.
I cannot wait to get started on the next book in this series. I would definitely recommend it.
