On June 12, 2016, the most horrendous mass shooting in US history and an unfathomable act of hate was directed at the LGBT community in Orlando. The horror of this tragedy reverberated around the world, leaving millions shocked and appalled at the senseless violence that destroyed so many innocent lives.

In a display of solidarity with the victims and survivors of the Pulse nightclub shooting, a group of LGBTQ+ and straight allies, from all across the globe, came together to produce a collection of poems in celebration of love and acceptance.

The resulting Love is Love Poetry Anthology is dedicated to the families and victims of the shooting and all proceeds of this work will be donated to Equality Florida’s Pulse Victims Fund.

In this small way, the authors, along with the readers who purchase this work, seek to contribute to the lives of those who still suffer from the consequences of the malice directed toward them, and offer some positivity and compassion in the face of such bigotry.

Blurb: one story, 25 authors, infinite possibilities…

Quad McDaniel’s life changed forever the night he was attacked by a wolf. Now, he turns furry every full moon. Avoiding red meat and anything that makes him aggressive is his prime goal in life. But when his convertible breaks down in some Podunk town, becoming the beast within is no longer a choice. It’s instinctive.

Gypsy Govanivinch just wants to live a quiet life in Trinity Valley, running his roadhouse tavern. He doesn’t need an overly aggressive shifter coming into his town and messing with his peaceful little world, no matter how gorgeous the man looked.

Life never asked Quad or Gypsy what they wanted. It simply gave them what they needed, whether they agreed or not. Fate brought them together but it’s up to Quad and Gypsy to stay alive long enough to appreciate what they’ve been given. And when others work to prevent that, fighting together might be the only chance they have of surviving.

Review: This was a wacky, crazy, and pretty damn good read. I have never read a book where each chapter is by a different author. But I must say they did a great job.

Quad is changed into a wolf shifter and abandoned by his maker. Now months later Quad is driving in his new car when it decides to die outside a little town called Trinity Valley. From there things just get weirder and weirder.

Gypsy is not human himself and is able to explain to Quad a little about shifters. But Gypsy has been hurt by shifters before and has a pretty big issue with them. But that doesn’t stop these two from mixing it up both in and out of bed. The chemistry is there from the start even when they don’t seem to like each other much.

For a book written by twenty-five different authors, there was a good flow in the story. It was fast paced and gave the needed information without dragging down the story with too much. The sex was steamy and very hot. The main characters were easy to like and personable.

A lot happens in a very short amount of time. There was tons of twist and turns going on throughout as Quad and Gypsy try to figure out what the hell is going on. There was some wicked planning going on by the bad guys.

This was a well written story by some of my favorite authors. It was entertaining, humorous, sexy, and wicked fun to read.

Review: As always Andrew gives you a steamy and very hot little story. I mean the sex between each of these guys and then all together would set the pages on fire it was so hot. This is book three in the series and you need to read them in order. I started reading this series and it just draws you in and keeps you captivated the whole time. I only had problems with certain parts of it.

Although Zane is trying to fix it all, even one of the things he did made me crazy.

A short time ago Adam wanted to make Zane the daddy of the group. He wanted him to take complete control over them all. To help them with their anger, addictions and problems that they were having. It is hard when it is just two men in love, but in this story it starts with four men loving and committed to each other. Then you add in Zane and now you have five men with a relationship going. There are many problems still going on with them.

Adam is still confused and angry at his choices. He takes his anger out in and even hurts those he loves. Jamie comes off as a scared man, but you can sense the strength in him. Although there is a surprise with him, that made me love him the most. Deuce is trying to fix what he knows that he has done wrong, but he is constantly fighting with Adam.

Although it is Adam that is the one starting the fighting. Lemmuel or better known as L.T. is an addict and every time he gets stressed he shoots up, although he is trying to overcome that battle as well. There is so much feeling in this book that you can’t help but wonder how they make it work. However they do and you just stand there praying for the best.

It is a fascinating story and I look forward to reading the next story. I want to see how Jamie has the baby that he is pregnant with. That is one hell of a great add to this amazing book. I would recommend reading it. It has a lot of details and story in such a small book. I loved the way they are with each other even after their little fights.

However with Adam, I think I would have ditched him the first time he raised his fists. He would be the one I could see bringing them all down, but the others love him so much that they see what he needs.

There is a lot of kink in this book and I am talking some majorly hot kink. I love the BDSM parts of this book, and for me that is saying something. I am not usually one that would like that part of a book or life but in this book it just brings it all out. I look forward to reading more by this amazing author.

Blurb: Sex, love, and rock ‘n’ roll are all Adam believes is holding the band Rock Hard together. In the weeks following their last concert, Adam, Deuce, L.T., and Jamie have not held a practice, and their new album is unfinished.

The jealousies and secrets that almost tore them apart have changed to new conflicts. In a fit of rage, Jamie tells Adam that the five of them are nothing but “jealous hearts,” when the insanity hits.

Zane, the band’s physician, is now living at the Rock Hard mansion full time. He believes that the four men, who have captured his heart, need the love of a real man to keep them grounded. As each man turns to Zane for comfort, Adam realizes they all need time to heal.

In what Zane calls a “tremendous act of love and devotion,” Adam gives a heartfelt message to Rock Hard’s fans in the hopes they can begin a new chapter in their lives.

Review: This is book 2 in the Rock Stars series by Andrew Jericho (book 1 was published under the name A.K. Kinley). This is a true sequel in the sense that it picks up the story basically where book 1 finished, so if you try to read this one without reading book one, I know from experience you’ll get so confused you’ll go back to read book 1.

Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll is just one massive wow! It’s a great book but is so heavy on sex that it seems that a chapter doesn’t pass without at least one sex scene. It was also odd in the way that it intrigued me and sucked me in, yet at the same time had me wanting more in terms of plot. I find it a unique book in terms of the fact that the true distinction is made between polyamory and ménage relationships.

This story centres on four men who have been in a poly amorous relationship for some years; they’ve also been members of the same band for just as long. Although the story particularly centres on the fifth man to recently join the relationship in book one, Zane. Zane is a doctor that initially started out as the band physician before things with him and one of the men, David (or Deuce). However, in this book he seems to become the glue holding the band together as they go through their own issues, all of them interesting. In particular, I have to say Jamie’s (known as James to Zane) storyline is really very fascinating.

One thing that I love about this book was the relationships and the subtle (or not so subtle) differences the different relationships showed. They also had different dynamics because of the different personalities. With five different people resulting in 10 different relationships between each different couple (had to do the math on that one!), this is by no means a simple dynamic and the clash in personalities and jealousies the men felt is really well written.

About the good doctor, Zane, I really like how in his relationship with the men that he insists on using their proper names. He does come across as geeky and formal but he is an interesting character with many layers. Likewise with all the other characters.

I love Jamie, he’s adorable yet I know him so much as a character that I know that if he was real and in front of me, he would throw a spectacular hissy fit if he heard me.

Adam is a wonderful character but he takes everything to heart and feels responsible for everyone and everything: so his asthma masks his stress problems.

David, I adore, after going through his issues in the first book and continuing on with them. I feel all the guys have let him down but it’s great that Zane has come to shake things up and get David the help he needs.

LT is a strong, silent character. It’s not until the end of this book we learn more of him and it turns out he’s more vulnerable then we realise.

I am really looking forward to the third book in this series because I really want to see these guys reconcile their different personalities and expectations and somehow make a cohesive relationship out of what they have started. I really don’t want Zane to be used in the sense that he’s good to have around while everyone else is having their crises.
