Review: Since his mother took him and fled their home Devon has been in hell. He’s been lied to, beaten, used and abused and forced to sell his body at the whim of his step brother Mick. Going to his nightly appointment he meets Zion. He has been having dreams of this man and is stunned when he learns who he is. But upon Zion revealing who he really is Devon runs as he feels ashamed of what he’s been forced to do.

Zion is a strong character and was just the one to show Devon that what he went through was because of someone else and not his choice. I have to admit I was so pissed off with the way that lazy no good prick Mick treated Devon that I was wishing him dead from the start.

The scene between a certain client and Devon broke my heart at what was done to him. I was glad it was not drawn out as I don’t think I could have handled that. There are twists and turns especially at the end when we discover the plan and certain individuals who are power hungry set said plans in motion and carried them out.

Highly recommended.

Review: Each book in the Eternal Flames collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

When I found out that these two authors were going to team up to write this series I knew I wanted to read it.  Let’s just say I was not let down at all.  The world that was created is unique and fresh in my eyes.  There are not very many books with dragon shifters nor phoenix shifters, well this series combines them both.  I had just finished the first one and couldn’t wait to start this one.  It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.  I love the characters but especially Angelo.  There is just something special about that man.

When Angelo was seventeen his life had changed, he was brutally gang raped and his phoenix had been taken from him.  Now many years have passed and he has found his mate.  His fear was stopping him from doing what he would have naturally done.  Thank god Morgan is the patient type because his little mate needed him.  When Angelo’s visions were telling him that a dead man was still causing trouble with their town, he is left shaken.  However time will show that the visions were of something worse.

I loved how this story was so full of excitement, suspense, emotion and twists.   I loved how captivated I was when I was reading it and how I was wishing I was right there with them.  It gave me exactly what I wanted and when I needed it.  I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next book.  This is one series that I would recommend reading.

Blurb: Centuries ago the Phoenix and Dragons were a force no one could penetrate. They fought together, mated together, and worked side by side, and then all that changed. The children of the leaders were dead and war had practically destroyed them all. The fighting stopped and they both went their separate ways.

Daytona was the Captain of the Crystal fire department. He loved his small town and he loved his job. However, what none of the small town knew was that he was also a dragon. Crystal was a small location just outside Denver, and it was also the home to the Phoenix. He had lived amongst them for years, hiding his scent, until the day came that he could no longer keep his secret.

When a fire claims his mother’s life, Ethan rushes home. Having your mother being a victim of an arson is not something he was prepared to face, but discovering he wouldn’t have to do it alone, should have been a relief. The thing is…that relief came in the form of a dragon, and the town believes that his mate is the cause of all the fires around town.

When the arsonist strikes close to home, Day knows he must clear his name and find the culprit that is now trying to kill his mate.

Review:  I have read a few stories by each of these authors and have loved their stories, however combined they are amazing.  I loved this even more because you very rarely find these two different paranormal creatures mixed into a story.  It is either dragon shifters or you will find the phoenix shifter, but never together.  So it was a unique story for me.  It was fully developed and the details made it feel like I was right there with them.

At one time dragons and phoenix shifters worked together, mated and loved one another.  That is until a big betrayal destroyed it all. A war started and many died, but soon each shifter moved on.  They went their separate ways, well until a certain dragon wanted to get away from his clutch and start his own life.  His father was the leader of his clutch in Denver, but Daytona just wanted to make his own way.  So he lived among the phoenix shifters without anyone knowing.  That is until a fire that he had to make a choice.

Ethan was a beautiful phoenix shifter however he had been away from home for some time.  When he comes back to find his mother gone, he realizes that he has also found the one for him.  To his shock it would seem that a dragon and a phoenix might just find love once more together. Too bad someone is either trying to kill Daytona or frame him for the fires.

I loved how this story was so full of excitement, suspense, emotion and twists.  Usually when I come across a new series, I am a bit let down because the first book doesn’t hit the high note with me.  However this was the exact opposite and I had so much fun reading it.  I could not put this book down and can’t wait to start on book two.  This has hit my favorite list right off the bat.

Review:  Each book in The Angel Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

It has been sometime since I have read this series, and I realize just how much I missed them.  The characters are a blast to read about and so much damn fun.  There is always action, suspense, danger and some hot situations that these guys get into.  Not to mention hot sex, but I will leave that up to your imagination.  These stories always catch my attention and it never waivers until the very end.  It just seems to flow at the right pace for me.

Sage started getting his powers at the age of five years old.  He just had no clue what was going on.  Then he shifted into a wolf, and that just freaked him out more.  So when the tri symbol showed up on his arm, he researched it and ran from his grandmother for fear of hurting her.  He didn’t know the true meaning though, just what he read.  He ran until he came across a man so evil that it would take all he had to escape. For two years he was doing it and working the Angel Pack.  Now they have figured out what he was and he runs.

Slade is a vampire that can walk in the sun, but that is not all he is.  He comes to see what the problem is, and finds his little mate.  Those who are evil are hunting him down, and Slade must get to him to protect him.  The whole pack is on the move, for when Sage turns twenty-one the powers that be will strengthen.  Now for more, you are just going to have to read the book.

This is one of the best series that I have come across in a long time.  It is so action packed that I was on the edge of my seat throughout it all.  I have to admit though that the amount of characters that are in this, that at some points it does get confusing with who they are.  However it doesn’t’ take away from the story at all.  I can’t wait to get started reading the next book.  What a story it is!

Review: Each book in The Angel Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Action pack, suspenseful, danger surrounding them, some very hot sex, kinky characters are just a bit of what you get with this book.  I am telling you that the pace is perfect, and the guys are protective as hell.  I have never come across a series that has so much to offer then this series.  It has been awhile since I have read one of these books and in the last 2 days that is all I have been doing with them, reading all night long.  I love the world that was created and the way it just flows off the pages makes it feel like you are right there with them.  Noah of course is my ultimate favorite little guy.  So damn sweet and let’s not forget sexy as hell.  However this book gives you two new guys who are mates, but there is some bad mojo in the way.

Xavier has a thing about big men and it usually doesn’t go the way he wants it to though.  So when he finds his mate, damn the man is hot.  That is until he finds out that Liam was once as evil as you can guess. Reborn he is now fae, but for some reason Xavier just can’t get over the other.  Not to mention when he gets closer or thinks about him, pain is all he gets.  Something is going on.

Liam has always wanted his mate but didn’t know why his mate hated him so.  Then the truth comes out and he must go back to Xavier’s pack to fix what has happened.  However here comes the twist, well you are just going to have to read this book to find that out.

I have never had so much fun reading, following and just jumping for these guys.  Hot is just one word to give them, and the way they are with each other is another plus.  The guys just seemed to work perfect with each other, and our sexy new couple is an added bonus to the group.  Not that they are new to the group but to the love fest.

I had a lot of fun reading this and look forward to another winning book from this amazing author.

Review: I have yet to read the angel pack series that this series is connected to. But after reading this book I will read them as soon as possible. I loved this story. It was full of misunderstandings and heartbreak as well as love and changing the way someone treats others. Maxi wants to find his mates as well as stay away from the trouble that is following him. He is happy in sanctuary and meets Valor, a fae warrior and Travis, a wolf shifter, who is training to achieve his goal of becoming something more than what everyone else expects.

After a hot encounter between the three Travis and Valor do something that had me shaking my head in disgust. They both rush out the door right after as they’re summoned for a mission. They do not even bother to say goodbye to Maxi or reassure him that he is more to them than a one night stand. Maxi is heartbroken and vows never again.

Really great story with the right amount of anger, love, suspense and I especially loved the way Travis and Valor grovelled to Maxi, and as well they should have. The mystery part of the book was outstanding.

I loved everything. Highly recommended.

Review: I have always loved to read stories by Maggie so when this came out I had to grab it. It caught my attention from the start but I have to tell you that I was not sure if I was going to like it after the first few pages. It comes off a bit strange, but then I remembered that it was the stores from the crossroads demon.

Dantalion and Lucifer had gone against god and were sent to underworld. They were to make deals with humans and take their souls after a certain amount of time. What they had not known was that if they found true love, then they would be allowed back to heaven. When a sexy little man not only started asking him questions about his soul should he choose but there was just something about Shane that pulled at him. He might just be seeing love for real.

Shane is one hell of singer but he wanted the final package. He wanted to be a star, and in turn decided to sell his soul for that gift. Fifteen years to have his dream come true, but he had not realized was that his dream was Dantalion.

There is a darkness to this story with a serious tone to it. It lapses over the human’s life time not really giving you a true story it would seem. Just a taste of what could be or not be for the guys. You get more about Dantalion then you do Shane which is a bit off to me, but it turns out in the end that you see the love. Which for me doesn’t really rock the way I wanted it to but the story still turned out to be damn good.

I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: Lucifer and his men questioned god, and it ended them up in hell. Lucifer was made the Lord of hell and his men were the demons. If they should find love, then they might be brought back to heaven. After Dantalion fell in love with Shane, god decided to step in. He has given Dantalion the permission to undue the sale, if he thought the person redeemed themselves.

Which brings us to book two, which I have to say was perfect. It was still a bit dark but the story just rocked. Syd was Shane’s best friend and he missed him. At one time he had a crush on the man, but his heart was still with Sam. Sam was the one he wanted but couldn’t have. That is until the deal was made and things heated up. Now these two are ones that definitely can’t communicate worth crap. So many misunderstandings lead to a big old heart ache.

This story has a serious tone to it with very little humor in it. Maggie Walsh has given a new fresh idea in this book. One that I was not sure would actually work, but this book proved me wrong. It was fun and exciting with a bit of freak to it. Although the ending shocked me, I can admit that it was a pretty good ending.

There are some crazy twists to this one and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the story. The characters were well written and fully developed.

I enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also coincides with Beyond the Angel Pack Series.

This book managed to touch me with some of its more emotional tones. Crew in the past books gave the impression of one thing. But he is so much more and really very relatable by anyone who has felt like an outsider.

Due to his upbringing with his family he has such a low opinion of himself. It takes two mates and his chosen family to make him see how truly special and appreciated he really is. But he does have so many issues to get there.

I enjoyed Haven and Laylen. I don’t feel like I know as much about them, but what I did learn and read made me like them for Crew. Really I got the sense that this was Crew’s book, Haven and Laylen were there to make Crew happy and finally give him peace and happiness. They finally allowed Crew to be himself.

Oh my Gawd, was the sex hot, and dirty, and whoo. It was steam worthy to say the least. And maybe just a tad over the top. But damn I was fine with that.

Throughout the story there is the ongoing story arc of good versus bad and the upcoming battle. Malachi and his cohorts are up to their old tricks and target Crew with some bad juju. It also showed how Crew was seen as the weakest link and how he was overlooked as an assist to the pack.

I must say this was one of my favorites in the Angel Pack universe. I really felt a connection to Crew and his trials and tribulations. The book really pulled me in and kept me reading. I was engrossed from start to end.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also coincides with the Angel Pack Series.

One thing I really like about both series is that they are not just about one mating. The reader also gets snippets from the other established matings, as well as other characters who are not yet mated. I like being able to revisit with those already mated and get a sneak peak of future stories to come.

In this book the full truth is finally revealed about why Ryland did what he did with Jesse as a child. Phenex is able to also tell his side of things. I really enjoyed the story about Phenex and Ryland. It was about time they got back together.

I really felt for Ryland. He did what he thought was right with the information he had. Things worked out differently than he hoped, but not due to his fault. That didn’t mean he didn’t feel guilt. Phenex was in no better a spot. They were so mislead. It was good that they were finally able to clear the air and make things right between them.

This book was also showed the evolution of Jesse and Micah. It showed not only Jesse’s growth of power, but also their relationship.
I must say this book was full of hot sex scenes. Not just with Ryland and Phenex, but also Jesse and Micah. These couples are seriously smoking hot with a nice little amount of kink thrown in.

And DAMN, Malachi is one evil bastard, and turns out he is not working alone. Yup, there is another fucktard helping Malachi. I really cannot wait to see what happens to these two when they finally get their asses kicked. Plus there was another little surprise cameo.

I enjoyed this addition to the Angel Pack world and look forward to reading future books. I really want to know what happens with Crew especially.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also coincides with the Angel Pack Series.

Viktor is the second in command of King Dante. Since Dante has found his mates, Viktor has been taking more responsibilities in ruling the vampires. He is happy for his king, but also feels a little jealous. When he discovers his mate’s scent on a sweater in the king’s office he immediately goes to the king to find out where his mate is. This leads him to the Angel Pack house where he comes face to face with his mate Adam.

Adam is the bound familiar of witch Rory. He is a natural submissive who must obey whomever he is bound to. Since he is already bound to Rory he knows he will never have a mate, or at least he is not supposed to. That all changes when he meets Viktor.

Both Viktor and Adam fit perfectly together. They both have the same sexual interests and want to complete their mating. But the bound to Rory is in the way of them being completely together. Luckily as they work on a way of breaking the bound, Viktor and Adam still find a way to be together whenever they can. Adam is adorable and Viktor is the big bad Dom. They were both cute and damn sexy together.

This book was half about the relationship between Viktor and Adam. The other half was about the ongoing story arc involving the paranormal world and changes taking place. It also gives more information about what the Angel Pack and their allies are going up against and what it all means. So a hell of a lot of things get revealed and happen. I mean a lot.

This book kept me on my toes as I wondered what would happen next. New characters are introduced. The reasons behind Malachi and who he is gets told. There is also more explanation about the prophecy and what is all means to the paranormal rulers and their mates. And still there is more. Like I said a lot happens.

This book was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. There were ups and downs all over the place. It answered a few questions as well as brought up even more. I can’t wait for the next book in this world to see what happens next.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Features characters from the series The Angel Pack.

Dale has never had a good life, until he came to the Angel Pack to spy on them for his father and sister. Which made all the things he did to them that much worse for Dale. The guilt was slowly eating him alive. When he has finally has come to a decision to end his life he meets two men who claim to be his mates. But even than things are far from perfect.

Dare… I did not like him for a good part of the book. He was an emotional wasteland. Of course there are reasons, but still until they are revealed he sucked as a mate. He was distant, uncaring, and just a plan asshole to both his mates, but Dale most of all. He was not understanding of Dale’s needs, and he didn’t really care until he almost lost it all and had faced up. Once that happened, he actually became the mate that both Dale and Dante needed.

Dante is the Prince of the vampires. He is also the rock of the relationship between the three of them. He was understanding and caring of Dale. He took the time even with all that was going on to spend time with Dale and show him that he deserved to be happy. When push came to shove, he was willing to send Dare away in order to make Dale’s life easier and happy. Dante was also not afraid to kick ass when needed. But he could also being very kind and loving.

The book did mostly revolve around the mating issues of Dale, Dare, and Dante, but a whole hell of a lot about the ongoing issues with the rogues was revealed. There is some serious bad shit coming from the looks of it and I can’t wait to read more from both this series and the Angel Pack series. Also, the secrets that were revealed kind of surprised me.

This book was fast paced and the hits kept on coming. New characters of paranormals are introduced, and damn the history behind that is sure to be interesting. I am really digging the world Maggie Walsh has created and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Raith is away chasing a man who was part of the group that held his Alpha’s mate and hurt him. When he finally returns homes from his hunt, he meets Dr. Aaron Collins. Aaron was brought to the pack house to help save a human mate dying from cancer. When the two first meet things do not lead to a happily ever after at first. Aaron opens his mouth and manages to piss Raith off with his arrogance.

Raith is prepared to walk away when his friends decide he and Aaron need a little help and lock them up together. What follows is a hot mating over a desk. They also discover that Aaron has a submissive side. As they explore that, it leads them to a local BDSM club where they meet a human Rory. When Rory’s current Dom almost kills him, Raith and Aaron step in to save Rory.

The first part of the book deals with Raith and Aaron getting their acts together and learning about each other. Once they are settled a bit into their mating, they meet Rory. He gives them both someone to take care of and nurture. Rory is nearly broken when he meets his mates. But he is still so sweet and I was happy he got two mates that are both strong in their own rights. Rory needs them both to help him overcome his past hurts. I loved the three MCs in this book. Raith is the warrior and protector of his mates. Aaron is the doctor that heals Raith and Rory when they need it most. Rory is the one that truly ties them all together. Plus the sex scenes are really hot between them.

The writer is able to keep the story moving at a fast pace. There is the relationship between the three MCs, but during all these changes are also happenings in the paranormal world. New characters are introduced that bring light to things that are happening. I really look forward to future books in this series.

There is so much going on and each book reveals more. The author has built a lush interesting world that keeps bringing me back to learn what will happen next.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Sebastian returns to Napa when he finds out that his mate Storm goes into heat as soon as he meets his mate, not after he has been claimed like Storm told him. Things are going moving along for a little bit when one night they are visited by their third mate Noah. Well sort of visited. As a Fae Noah has the ability to astral project. He does this into Sebastian and Simon’s bedroom. Since Noah has never really learned the English language it is hard for communicate, but he does his best. This leads Simon and Sebastian to start the hunt to find Noah.

But more is going on then they first realize. Noah is a prisoner of several sadists men who abuse him in the worst ways. They also use his him for experiments. The door starts to crack open as to what is going on within the bigger picture of the overall story arch. With the help of Noah and other prisoners, more secrets and clues are learned. The area where Noah was kept has done something to those that are “sensitive.” They are not acting like themselves and seeing things that are not real. This includes Sebastian, whose gift can see into people’s innermost thoughts. Because of this, the mating between him and Simon is almost destroyed.

This book starts with a bang. And they keep coming. The sex scenes were hot and descriptive. However, there were times I wanted to smack both Simon and Sebastian upside their heads. They both made mistakes that at the time seemed like overreactions. Noah I just wanted to huge. He so needed two strong men to help him and protect him. He is just adorable and has been so hurt for years. The three men together are so perfect for each other once two of them pull their heads out of their asses.

The character developments and interpersonal relationships are great. I love how the different pack, pride, and clan members are starting to pull together to face the threats that are coming. I cannot wait to see what the author has next in this series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Taylor pops off the screen. He is a vibrant smart ass. But he also hides so much behind his quick wit and big mouth. He is happy for his best friend Jesse for mating the alpha Micah. However when Gabriel doesn’t own up to being his mate it makes Taylor believe there is something wrong with him. Taylor feels like a throw away that no one wants. He also keeps a secret from everyone until it is almost too late to save him.

Gabriel wants Taylor so much. But Gabriel is very shy and hides behind an emotionless mask, so no one gets close. Gabriel has no clue how to talk to Taylor at first. Gabriel has so many issues, least of which is believing his father telling him, all his life, he was worthless. So instead of claiming Taylor he says nothing. Which only convinces Taylor that even his own mate doesn’t want him. When the chips are down and the worst possible thing is happening the whole pact pulls together to help solve the problem.

Each character has their own unique personality that gives something to the story. Either emotional support or to bring laughter, or they all have something to contribute. There are few editing mishaps, but they do not distract from the overall story. There is the relationship of Gabriel and Taylor, but there is also a broader storyline overall that is slowly opening up. What it means yet is not fully seen in this book. But get the feeling something big is coming down the pipeline.

I love the world the author has made and look forward to reading more in this series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Micah is the Alpha of the Angel pack. A pack he started 200 years ago that is made up of wolves that either were kicked out or left their home packs for being gay. On a night out with his pack mates, he hears Jesse singing for the first time at a strip club. But Jesse is a slow to give in right away, as he is leery. Just when things seem to be moving along threats from others, try to destroy the mating before it can happen.

There are the normal elements of shifter mating. Instant attraction and need to mate. Micah is the typical larger than life alpha and wants it all now. Micah pushes Jesse to hard and he gets skittish and almost leaves. So it is not a unique take on the werewolf world. Yes, Micah is the big tough Alpha but all he really does want to love and take care of this mate and make Jesse happy. Jesse has been hurt badly in the past, first by his family, and then by others he thought he could trust. So trusting Micah takes some doing.

What drives this book are the characters, the conflicts, and connections that happen among them. The secondary characters are just as interesting as the MCs. Taylor is off the wall crazy and I loved him the first time he jumped off the page. The friendship Jesse and Taylor have is as important as the mating between Micah and Jesse. The other packs members are just as memorable. They leave you wanting them to get a HEA too.

This was a great start to the series. There are moments of laughter and a few that may make a tear or two leak. There are some good twists thrown in that keep things moving along nicely. I enjoyed it a great
