Blurb: After the collapse of civilization, Ager Munez finds work as an agent, helping customers with their zombie insurance needs. He’s a bit of a workaholic and a romantic at heart, but the only romance he’s been experiencing lately involves watching his bosses in tight-fitting jeans on casual Fridays.

Jim and Jason Tanner agree they want a third in their relationship, but have never been able to find the right man. When Ager begins working at Deadzone, they know that they’ve found their match. He’s smart, funny, and adorable in a way that should be illegal in at least four sectors.

When a zombie outbreak in Sector 7 requires field representatives, the two know the perfect candidate for the job. Little does Ager know that this mission will test him in ways he’s never been tested and land him not one but two hot men in his bed and his heart.

Note: This book contains double anal penetration.

Review: Ager works at Deadzone, an insurance company that takes care of ‘all your Zombie needs’ including disposal of a zombie outbreak. Ager fantasies about his boss, Jim and on occasion Jim’s husband, Jason, but he never truly dared hope that he would ever catch either of their eyes, especially seeing as they are happily married. Jim and Jason have had their eyes on Ager since he started working for them, but have held off for the right time. Now, in the middle of a zombie outbreak, Jason is impatient and rushes things, but he is lucky, as Aga is receptive. Now, all they have to do is get out of sector seven alive.

This has got to be one of the best zombie stories that I have come across. I thought the characters were brilliant, the world building was great and the plot was really interesting. Ager is terrified of zombies, his dad worked for the UMF (United Military Forces) and sat on his balcony shooting zombies that strayed too close for the fun of it. But, it left Ager scarred and now Ager is quite happy to stay in his nice safe zone, in his nice safe job and not have to see a zombie ever again. Well, that is until his bosses ask him to go to Sector 7 with them. Both Jim and Jason own Deadzone and they have the perfect marriage, but they long for a third. Both are positive that Ager is that third and want to ease him in gently, but being in Sector 7 puts a rush on their relationship.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect when I cracked open this book, but it sure was a treat. Jana Downs has created a world in the future where a military experiment went wrong and they are now plagued with zombies and not just the run of the mill ‘brains brains’ zombies, no she has also given us second level Necros and Necro-Kings who are more cunning in their hunt for ‘food’. Ager, Jim and Jason find themselves cut off and hunted by these zombies and it is a trek for their lives, to get to a safe zone before they are caught. Ager has to let go of a lot of his fears and Jason comes to a realization about his active role in ‘clean-ups’. And Jim realizes that he isn’t cut out for field work anymore.

The progression of the story is great and yes, the sex is extremely hot and even though it might seem quick, it didn’t really feel quick because although they have just got together, they have all been sniffing around each other. Each man has to face something personal to them, Ager’s is the toughest to confront, as it is not just fear. Jim and Jason’s is more of facing the truth and accepting their limitations.

So, with this one, I will recommend it to those who love zombies, three hot men, hot sex, a run for your life, some slight betrayal, a bloody battle against zombies and a very sweet and happy ending.

Blurb: For the past few years Yarroway L’Estrella has lived in exile, gathering arcane power, but that power came at a price. When a third member joins the precarious alliance, it seems to cement the bonds between all three men. But the arrangement isn’t perfect: Yarrow knows the power inside him and fears getting too close. The mysterious newcomer was raised to believe love and trust are weaknesses. Review: Yarrow is called upon to escort his cousin to his wedding. It is something that he would rather not do, but for his aunt he will. It is a journey that brings him into contact with Duncan, a Knight who thinks little of him and Sasha, an assassin who could end up betraying them. It is a journey that brings danger, betrayal, political intrigue and exposes secrets and all three men have to band together to survive and expose the truth.

This is an absolute must read if you love high fantasy.  Whoop, so happy! *little dance*. Yarrow is a magic user, the most powerful magic user of the time. But, Yarrow has a secret that makes him dangerous and he can’t trust anyone. So, he travels by himself keeping a distance from those around him… until he meets Duncan and then Sasha. But how can he tell them his secret without losing them both? Duncan is a Knight, he will do his duty and make sure his charges reach their destination, but Yarrow calls to something inside him and then Sasha does as well. But, he hates Sasha for how he conducts his life and now Duncan is confused about his forbidden feelings. Sasha can’t love, it was trained out of him at a young age, but Yarrow causes him to begin to question what he has learnt and Duncan drives him crazy and it ends up making Sasha make a choice that shouldn’t be a choice. After all, he is a cold-blooded assassin.

So, this is high fantasy at its highest and it is beautifully done. The world building is great, the backgrounds of the characters are well done and give us enough information to relate to them and the storyline and plot is wonderful. Although Yarrow is a powerful magic user, none of his magical scenes are overdone and there are even times when you think, he could have used more. But, as you learn, there is a high price he has to pay if he uses the most powerful magic. So, you can understand why he tries to limit what he does. The main storyline is quite simple get the prince to his wedding. But, it is quickly quite apparent that there are plans afoot to derail the wedding and then the betrayals begin and the three men have to band together to ensure the prince lives and to save the kingdom.

There is a lot going on in this book with some interesting twists and turns. There are secrets that come out, political intrigue, betrayal, murders, traps, pursuits, battles, confrontations, lies and love. The relationship between Yarrow, Sasha and Duncan is complex and far from easy. There is plenty of hot sex, but these three men each have their own problems that they have to work through before they can fully accept the others. and Yarrow’s problem is a doozy. You do not want to miss the fighting scenes or the battle scenes because they are brilliant, all the attention to detail was great and I loved it (have I mentioned I’m a bit Blood Thirsty). I loved each of the MCs as they were all completely different, with completely different values and attitudes towards things, so much potential conflict between them.

This is not the book to read if you want a nice light romance. The romance is hard going, but well-earned. The storyline is intertwined with danger and betrayal from all directions, the characters all have problems but aren’t too angsty and the action is great. The ending is one that leaves you wishing that the next book was already published so you can continue the journey.

So, I recommend this to anyone who loves high fantasy, difficult romances, hot sex, difficult journeys, betrayal, secrets, lies, action, battles, some bloody gore and three very intriguing heroes… oh, and an ending that will make you grit your teeth and scream silently for the next book.

Blurb: The last thing Pauly expects during a simple night out is to wind up embroiled in a cab chase. Then again, if something weird happens, it made sense that it would happen to him. He can only count himself lucky that his cab driver is smart, attractive, and seems to like him, even with the drama.

Being involved in a situation that requires police attention isn’t something Randy’s ever aspired to, but he can’t resent it when it’s brings Pauly into his life. Pauly’s just about perfect, as far as Randy can tell, but that means he’s unlikely to be interested in anything more than friendship with a guy like Randy. That’s better than nothing, right?

James isn’t looking for a relationship. He’s not even looking for a ‘friends with benefits’ arrangement. That’s why he finds his obsession with two guys he picks up in a bar so bizarre. He’s too busy for love, of course, but becoming friends with the two men somehow leads to wanting things he shouldn’t. Even more complicated is the fact that he can’t seem to decide which of them he’s more interested in — the stunningly hot Pauly or the more quietly attractive Randy.

All three men have decisions to make, and choices to face, not an easy task. There’s no way the three of them could ever build a relationship together… is there?

Review: This was a cute look into the complications of three-way love. I won’t say threesome because this was so much more and that’s what I liked about it. You know me, I’m hopeless when it comes to a good juicy true heartfelt love, so add a second person, oh yeah, and I was hooked.  All three characters were so well-developed you couldn’t help but feel each one’s thoughts and feelings.

The story started with Pauly telling his story to a friend and the other two came out and joined them. Then it almost lost me when it went back to Pauly, before he met James and Randy. But, I finally figured out he was telling the story.  He was in a bar and some dude was hitting on him too aggressively, so he split. He caught a cab but the other guy caught one also. A chase ensued. The cab driver was watching him in the mirror and figured out there was a problem, called the other cab found out there was a real problem and called 911.   The next morning, Randy, the cab driver, woke on a strange couch; he had stayed at Pauly’s. They become friends. The 911 operator had felt a pull to the two men in the cab and worried. He goes to a gay bar and sees two men dancing provocatively and was just entranced. The next morning Pauly wakes up, naked in bed with two men, and can’t remember what was going on. So he ran home. Pauly is a trouble magnet, Randy is insecure about his looks and James isn’t use to relationships. So, is this the beginning of a beautiful three-way romance? Or does one choose one over the other? How can three men love each other? Well, get the book and see.

Recommendations:  I recommend this book to anyone that loves a good fun light-hearted romance, threesomes, and nice hot romance and fairies and craft fairs. (You’ve got to get the book, just to read this part it’s hilarious!!)

Reviewer:   Portia

Review:  Braxton and Payne have been lovers for three years.  They are still very much in love, but due to horrific childhood trauma, Payne suffers from some pretty major sexual dysfunction.  Rather than either man risking triggering Payne’s mental demons, when the mood strikes them, they invite a third into their bed.  Well, Payne’s bed, because Brax just watches; anything to keep Payne happy.  At least that was the pattern…until they meet Flame.

I really didn’t expect to enjoy this book as much as I did.  I rarely see survivors of sexual trauma accurately depicted in a realistic manner.  Especially not the type of abuse that Payne endured.  And I speak from almost twenty years of dealing with victims professionally.  But, I think Amber Kell did a pretty good job with Payne.  I also really like that Brax and Payne were given a reasonable time to build their relationship, before adding a third. And even then, all three men are open with their attraction and their concerns.  Which made me believe their ménage could work outside the bedroom.  The characters are very well crafted. And, by that I mean, they complement one another.  Where Brax is straight alpha male, Flame is more nurturing.  Both men are obvious with their devotion to Payne, but we also see them begin to develop a relationship that is separate, if not quite equal.

A couple of things trigger Payne’s “switch”.  And, again I felt they were realistic events, not simply plot devices. I totally bought that he was emotionally ready to add a third to his existing relationship and expand his sexual role with both of his lovers.  If anything, I think Brax could have stood to open up a bit more…

Amber Kell never ceases to amaze me with her mastery of the novella.  For all its heavy subject matter, Switching Payne is not maudlin.  Neither is it sappy sweet.  It’s just a really nice romance between three wounded men, who somehow make it work for them.  Highly recommend.

Blurb: Dark faces the fact he will never enjoy the feel of a whip or a flogger on his ass again. The new alpha of the light pack cannot be seen as weak. Until the following morning when Dark answers his door to the sexiest vampire doctor he has ever seen, his mate.

After a day of unbridled passion between the sheets, Kai and Dark get thrust back into reality. When they see a man strapped helpless in a BDSM club, can they rescue him in time, or will they unleash a new threat upon them?

As a lust demon, Harry always knew he would have a mate with a high sex drive, but once he had met “master,” everything had turned pear-shaped. Now with two mates who love him dearly, can they overcome a threat that may be bigger than they realize, and will Dark finally get to submit?

With the supernatural high council present, will the light pack succeed in ridding themselves of the enemy?

Purchase Link: http://www.bookstrand.com/the-dom-for-his-alpha

Review: Dark has just won the Alpha challenge when he comes across his mate Kai. Kai is not all that happy to have found his mate, especially as he lives in New York and the wolf lives in Texas.  But, just as Kai and Dark work things out they find they have another mate, Harry, who is being treated badly in Dark’s BDSM club. Can the three paranormals work things out or will their enemy win?

This is a story that I had high hopes for because the beginning was well written and a lot was explained about this author’s paranormals. But, then it seemed to fall apart not long after Dark and Kai first met. Dark is the new alpha, but he is a submissive and he gets really upset when Kai seems to reject him. So upset, in fact, that he tries to kill himself. Kai suddenly realizes that he doesn’t want to lose his mate and voila they are all lovey dovey. They then rescue Harry from an abusive Master and he fits nicely into a lovey dovey sandwich. Then, suddenly they are threatened by an unknown source for unknown reasons.

In the blurb it says that ‘Dark faces the fact he will never enjoy the feel of a whip or a flogger on his ass again.’ Urm, well unless this book isn’t to this blurb then that is total rubbish, as Dark couldn’t care less who knows that he bottoms and likes a flogging. What does seem to emerge is his past with another Master and how that Master disappeared never to be heard of again, leaving him feeling abandoned. Harry has his own problems to get through including the loss of his powers. Kai is the only one that seems to have no problems other than pressure from the council to do what they want.

There are several very good bits in this book and to be honest this feels more like a novel cut down to be a novella; there are lots of details and information for such a short book and there is a lot going on in the way of plot. It also seems to be quite choppy, switching back and forth between characters. The sex is very hot, the BDSM is well detailed and the characters are quite good (although Dark needs to learn not to cry at the drop of the hat).

I believe that this is this author’s first published m/m (*note:  Ms. Shaw has a full Siren backlist, which includes only M/M romance.  To learn more about her and read reviews of her other works, click here.*) and I have to say the potential is there; it just needs to be smoothed out more. So, all in all, I will recommend this to those who love shifters, demons, vampires, hot sex, angst and a pretty good story-line. I’d also recommend this to those who are fans of Lynn Hagen, Joyee Flynn, Gale Stanley and Stormy Glenn.

But things aren’t that easy, not when Liam is accused of a murder he didn’t commit. Liam also has to deal with a bully from his past, a man bent on teaching Liam that gay men are evil. Can the three work things out and find a happy life together, or will they fall apart when Jack is shot by the very man setting Liam up?

Purchase Link: http://www.bookstrand.com/remembering-to-breathe

Review: Liam is a quiet man who likes to keep to himself.  he is dreading it when another man is assigned to work with him, but its lust at first glance and he slowly falls in love with the straight man. Bishop is as straight as they come, but his co-worker confuses him when he provokes feelings he shouldn’t be having. After a kiss he flees. Jack knows what he wants and he wants Liam. He falls head over heels for the little man, but now Liam’s first love is back on the scene and Liam is torn.

I was actually thoroughly enjoying this book and admiring the way that the author’s style had developed and matured and how well-developed the characters were and then Bishop walked back into Liam’s life and miffed me off. Liam falls in love with Bishop, knowing that Bishop is gay and nothing can happen but then Bishop kisses him and disappears.  Liam, feeling rejected, goes to his sisters and ends up being laid off so he starts anew. Jack meets Liam while looking into a murder at Liam’s old house.  He sweeps Liam off his feet and just when things are going great…Bishop comes back into Liam’s life.

Okay, so all three characters are great and so are their reactions, to a point.  and they all have great personalities and they all mesh well together, but, for me, it was ruined a bit by Liam’s easy acceptance of Bishop back into his life and how he contemplates getting everything he wants without even taking Jack’s feelings into account.  But, I admired Jack’s resolve in willing to do anything for Liam and the fact that Bishop was willing to also give it a try was great.  Liam though…it confused me how he could still loves someone that deeply after no contact for a year and the fact that it was a straight man who had fled after kissing him.

The bullying was well portrayed and I liked the twisty little murder because that came out of nowhere and Jack’s reaction was really well done and an honest one at that. The tentative way that Jack, Bishop and Liam work towards the relationship is great and I loved how it progressed. The sex is hot and it was very natural between the three of them. I liked the gay for you aspect and then the gay for them and I liked the way that Bishop had to think hard about what he wanted.

I have to recommend this to those who love ménage, gay for you, a bit of angst, some danger, hot sexy man love and a happy ever after (after all the shocks and hospital visits that is).

Review:  Let me start out by saying that this is the first book of this series that I have read and I would really like to go back to the beginning of the relationship and see how it all started.  However, the story made perfect sense to me without having read their past history.

Dan has overcome the tragedy of lost love and found a wonderful relationship with Jeff and Evan.  He and Evan have a bit of an explosive relationship at times and it always falls to Jeff to be the peacemaker.  Evan comes from a background of extreme wealth and has a tendency to expect things to always go his way.  It make’s Jeff job as mediator difficult sometimes.  When Dan’s sister shows up after living a life of crime for years, it puts a lot of stress on this complicated relationship.

Throughout the story, there is a point of view shift between all three characters, which is nice because you get to take a peek inside all their heads to see what is really going on.  There are a lot of crises in this story and they seem to fall one right after another very quickly.  As a result, there isn’t too much time for the development of the guy’s relationship.  As soon as a crisis occurs, there is an argument or conflict between the characters, a distance forms between them, then finally comes resolution only to be followed by a new conflict.  Everything was very fast paced and I really just wanted these three guys to spend some time snuggled up in bed talking and holding each other in peace and quiet!

I really did love the story, though, and the author did a wonderful job of creating memorable secondary characters.  I am not sure I liked Dan’s sister all that much and I’m sure that was the author’s objective!  She was (at times) sweet and caring and then seemed to be manipulative and childish.  I loved Chris (the best friend) and his wit and humor really added lightheartedness to the story.

Jeff, Dan, and Evan really love each other…that much is very obvious throughout the story.  The conflicts they have to deal with at times push them apart and then draw them back to each other.  I would have like to see more relationship development throughout the story but think that overall this was a very good book!

Blurb: A spy posing as an assassin, a fiercely passionate healer, and a sweet, innocently sexy chef collide explosively onboard a slave-running pirate ship. Fed false information and light-years from help, a mentally unstable spy must discover a way through an ever shifting maze of deception on board a slave-running pirate ship to become Tian’s Hero.

A spy posing as an assassin finds himself riding the ragged edge of sanity during his latest mission; a frantic search for fabled lost colonists who fled his planet steps ahead of a devastating plague. The possibly mythical pre-plague migrants hold the only key to survival for his entire race.

Lewell’yn’s situation would be difficult enough without receiving deliberately false information, and now he’s light-years from reliable help and saddled with the two huge complications: a fiercely passionate healer, and a sweet, innocently sexy chef.

The bombs are in place. The detonators are set. The chrono is ticking. Caught between two men desperate to escape the clutches pirates and an insidious, hidden enemy, can Lewell’yn find a path to become Tian’s hero?

CONTENT ADVISORY: This title contains scenes of rape.

Purchase Link: https://spsilverpublishing.com/tians-hero-ebook-p-726.html

Review: I died and went to heaven. Lewell’yn has a job to do and he is quite happy to carry it out to visions of killing his Boss.   When things start to go a bit pear-shaped, he has to make decisions that affect not just him, but the sexy slave Tian and the passionate healer Kay, as well.

This is one of those stories that will have you jumping up and down in both joy and in some parts frustration. Lewell’yn is a mystery wrapped, in an enigma, doused in a conspiracy and oozing misdirection. And he is abrasive, snarky, vindictive and downright nasty. Tian is sweet, gentle, sexy and obsessed with cooking. Kayron is passionate, compassionate, has a great sense of humor and is obsessed with a proper cup of tea. These three men come together during trying times and each will need the other two to make it through.

A well-written story that will confuse you, as you try to work out Lewell’yn and his behavior, the importance of Tian and Kayron and just who the Boss really is. Honest to god, this is one of those stories where you think you know where it is going and then it goes off in a completely different direction. Can I tell you more?  Yep, but you would be completely confused by what I was talking about.  So, I will say this, Lewell’yn needs both Tian and Kay to survive and not go over to the dark side.  He needs Tian for his gentleness and sweetness and he needs Kay for his passion and stubbornness. Both Tian and Kay are jealous of each other at first, Kay because Lewell’yn dumped him and has moved on and Tian because he can see that Lewell’yn still cares about Kay.

There is a lot going on and a lot to follow, but lucky you, it’s spread over 458pgs, so it doesn’t get overwhelming. Sometimes you will want to smack the crap out of Lewell’yn, because of how he treats Kay, but it is eventually explained.  Then you still want to slap him silly… just for the fun of it. There are secrets that start to come out and Lewell’yn learns new stuff about himself, as does Kay when he learns he is pregnant.

So in all honesty, if you love science fiction, adventure, action, assassins, spies, chefs, healers, red-hot sex, m-preg, secrets and a happy ending then this is the book for you.

Review: Romano is running for his life, trying to stay ahead of the people who want to silence him.   He turns to Pride Pack Valley and his cousin Dino, but what he finds there is not what he expected. Memphis knows that he can handle anything after being under Jackson’s thumb… until he meets Romano who is just as dominant as Jackson and Tabby who won’t put up with any crap. Tabby knows he isn’t a drunk but no one will believe him.   He’s had it with people telling him he is a drunk.  And now after finding he has two mates, one who’s a wolf and one who has hit-men after him.  he thinks that maybe they can solve all their problems.

This is quite a good story that has an interesting development. All three characters are interesting, Memphis thinking that he wasn’t affected by Jackson by in reality controlling everything he can and being dominant and a hard-ass when someone argues with him. Romano is also dominant, but he can compromise so it’s up to him to show Memphis where he is going wrong. Tabby is a man who even though he just might be submissive isn’t going to let anyone walk all over him and the sooner that Romano and Memphis understand that the better.

The story-line is quite good with Romano being chased by hit-men, Memphis discovering his flaws and the mystery of Tabby’s drunkenness. It makes for an interesting story, but there was a lot of horns locking as both Romano and Memphis acted like rams fighting for dominance. The one thing that I noticed was that there wasn’t that much background for any of the characters, especially Tabby, we get a brief background on Romano to explain why he’s running and we know that Memphis lived under Jackson’s thumb and we know that apparently Tabby was the town drunk, but that’s it.

So a good book, but sadly lacking in detail, so you find it difficult to relate with the characters. But the sex is scorching hot and Tabby is a little bit of a voyeur ;-). So I recommend this to those who love shifters, danger, mystery, hot sex and a happy ever after.

BlurbEven a happy single thirty-something, living mainly through his intellect, has certain needs. They’re met by an open-minded, adventurous young gay couple more than willing to invite him to their bed.

Can a single man in his thirties be truly happy? To Owen Bartlett, writer of books and articles about the history of mathematics, the answer is a resounding yes. But he still has some very human needs.

So when he meets Sebastian and Davin, a young and attractive couple, and they ask him to spend the night with them, he isn’t going to refuse. The intensity of the sex the three men share that night goes beyond anything Owen has ever experienced, certainly when he discovers Davin craves to be dominated by his partners, and Sebastian is all too willing to give his lover what he needs.

Owen is certain it was a one night thing only, but he couldn’t be more mistaken.

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of (anal) double penetration and suggestions of dominance and submission.

Review:  I don’t know what I was expecting, but Three wasn’t it.  This has got to be the most erotic MMM ménage I have ever read.  Sebastian and Davin’s seduction of Owen was quick and sexy.  Owen can’t believe these two beautiful, younger men want him to share their bed.  But, who is he to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Somehow, that one night stand is repeated again and again.  Now, I’ve promised honest reviews, so here goes.  If you are looking for an angst filled drama suited for the Hallmark Channel…skip this one.  Three doesn’t have the most complex storyline and the characters are only developed enough to give them three distinct voices.  But, this is an exquisitely written erotic romance.  The two plus one love affair works for these gents.  I even loved the ending which, though a bit different, left me satisfied.  Highly recommend.

Blurb: A drunken bet with his boyfriend leads Noah to the Wolf Den and a night of wild sex he’ll never forget. But he gets more than he bargained for, when he ends up in the middle of a war between Lycans and vampires.

The pack Alpha orders Kade to seduce the human male drinking in the Wolf Den. Noah is easy on the eyes and Kade agrees, but sparks fly and the Lycan finds himself wondering if he’s been seduced as well. When the Alpha reveals his plans for the blue-eyed blond, Kade wonders if he’ll be able to carry them out.

Review: Hmmm, well errr… Noah lands in more trouble than he thought possible when he is goaded into a dare by his lover and he visits the Wolf Den.   Kade is given the task of taking care of the human but it doesn’t take long for him to realize that he cares what happens to the little human.   Jesse is worried about his lover when he doesn’t come home and goes looking for him only to find trouble.

This is a great story that is hot in all the right places and keeps you wanting more. Noah feels a connection to Kade but feels guilty for cheating on Jess. , Jesse admits that Kade is hot and Kade admits that both these men turn him on.  We have a kidnapping, drugging, danger, a chase through the woods and then a bit of conflict with vampires and I enjoyed all of it.

But… even though this is set in Arcadia City and the Colony, it is more like a side story than a true Symbiotic Mates book as I thought only Lycans and Vampires could have a Symbiotic bond (if I am wrong please let me know).  I have a feeling that there will be more of these three men’s story still to come as I really can’t see Christophe leaving it like it is now.

My recommendation is… a definite must read for paranormal fans, those who love hot sex and a semi happy ending? (As they are together but… what does the future hold for them?)

Blurb: As the God of Death continues his battle for supremacy, three hearts are caught in a whirlwind of danger that will test the very limits of their strength and love.

For three millennia, Cyaan has survived a warrior’s life, taking passion as it came and revenge when it was due. Yet none of that could have prepared him for his latest challenge. For five years, he has lived with the pain of having failed his mate. A man who sacrificed his freedom for the sake of another. Cyaan will do everything within his power to bring his mate’s kidnapper to justice.

But his campaign takes an unexpected turn when he discovers he has a second mate, Loken. Son of the God of Wrath, Loken lives by the blade and has no intention of losing his heart to love. Unwilling to lose yet another mate, Cyaan convinces him to aid in the rescue of the only man who can complete them.

It will take every ounce of Cyaan and Loken’s loving patience to convince Jace that he is more than worthy of them.

Review:   Master of Wrath continues five years after the events of Son of Death. Cyaan is on a crusade to find his mate Jace, who is a prisoner of Mikel. During one of his searches for clues to the Jace’s whereabouts, Cyaan finds Loken, his other mate. And together they combine forces to find the missing piece to complete the threesome.
First and most importantly Master of Wrath is the second book in a series in progress and it is essential that you read the first book; both to keep up with the plot and to know the characters.

Having said that, my review of the book.

Master of Wrath is an engaging story and managed to hold my attention from first page. The story flows well and the sex scenes are super hot.

At the beginning of history, Jace is traumatized by what was done to him by Mikel. But he is not broken. He has a strength that makes him an ideal partner for the two Doms which are his mates. And though their relationship is new, you can see that they are actually a ménage (and Loken and Cyaan work as a team to dominate Jace). Loken is lonely, but not by choice (his life is in danger if his existence is discovered). But, when he meets his mates, he knows just how valuable they are and so he makes a leap of faith.

Overall, Master of Wrath is an enjoyable read and a good addition to the series. And I look forward for the next book.

Blurb:   After the one man he trusted disappeared, it took Law Connor ten years to take a chance on another relationship. Trouble is, right about the time he’s finally ready to let go of the past, the past stages a hostile takeover.

Back when they were teens, Styx was the boy with no memory. He and Law had each other’s backs until he was forced to leave to keep Law safe. Now a CIA agent, he’s finally discovered who he is, and why he’s a hunted man.

Detective Paulo McMannus has almost succeeded in helping Law forget his lost love when Styx comes plowing back into their lives. No way is Paulo giving up his lover without a fight.

Suddenly Law finds himself on the run with Styx, the man who can still bring him to his knees…and with Paulo, the man who brought him back to life. The worst part? He can’t choose between them. And it’s getting harder to remember why he should.

Product Warnings:  Contains rough language, rougher sex and warriors who fall hard for one another.

Review:  Law Conner is now in a fix, he has just decided to let someone new into his heart, when the man that he has loved for more than sixteen years waltzes back into his life. And not only does he waltz back into his life but he brings trouble with it that endangers not only Law’s life but also the man he is falling for as well. Paulo McMannus is finally where he wants to be – in Laws bed, in his dreams and creeping into his heart, when the ex-lover returns in a hail of bullets. Styx has come back to protect Law, he left him in the first place to protect him but that didn’t go as planned because now his enemy is after Law.

The storyline is pretty cool in this book as Styx can’t remember the first 16yrs of his life but then around the age of 20 he gets a reminder of the past that sets him running from Law. When he returns to save Law he has to save Paulo as well, we then have trips to safe houses, assassins hunting them and these three strong men trying to figure out if a relationship between them could work.

I think this quite a good ménage as the men fit together nicely. They work out the dynamics of a relationship that works for them and it’s not an uneven balance. They even start to stray into D/s but nothing too heavy.

So my recommendation to you is if you love your men strong, hot and dangerous; your plot filled with danger and suspense; and your sex rough, scorching and slightly kinky then this is the book for you.

Blurb:  Dru and Thom have been together for three years, and despite Thom’s occasional bouts of insecurity and Dru’s fear of rejection, their relationship is rock solid. Then Dru’s long-lost friend, Skye, suddenly reappears, shocking them both. Skye suffered years of inconceivable abuse before escaping it, and while he’s back on track, he has nowhere else to go as he begins to rebuild his life.

Dru, Thom, and Skye each want to belong somewhere, to belong with someone – or someones – with no fear of being hurt, set aside, or left behind. It’s a challenge with daunting odds, especially for Skye, who’s never loved before. He’s determined not to come between his two friends who so clearly belong together, and it will be up to Dru and Thom to conquer their fears and convince Skye to stay.

Review:  I took interest in this story because it had a recovering character. What is unique about By Any Other Name is the fact that we get to know the character through his final stages of recovery – which is, in this case, Skye’s incorporation and integration into the modern world – which wipes out the prospect of unnecessary drama. Too often I encounter books where so much happens, both internally and externally, that the drama just seems forced. (In fact, there was a discussion about too much angst in a review site a week ago.) Thankfully, Tia Fielding’s first novel is a “quiet” one – no major angst that seems contrived, just a couple of moments where we are reminded of what Skye has been through.

To be honest, the abuse seemed a bit too much at first. When I read all about Skye’s past, the combination of it plus the abuse he underwent seemed a bit too tragic, even for an unlucky person. Yet it wasn’t really highlighted; while it did cast its own shadows in the lives of our three protagonists, it didn’t overtake the story and, like I said before, didn’t cause any melodrama. The conflict here is purely internal, and there’s really no room for poorly characterized villains that are flat and very much reminiscent of mad scientists. I appreciated that. I don’t particularly like antagonists that are just so crazy and unbelievable.

I do have a couple of niggles though, ones that made me falter between three stars and four. First, at times it seemed like the affection was concentrated on Dru. Sure, more often than not he is described as a high maintenance lover, but I think Thom and Skye’s love for him overshadowed the growing affection among the three of them at times. I’ll admit that I was looking forward to Thom and Skye’s interaction with each other more than anything, but to me their feelings for each other fell a bit flat. Of course, that might just be me setting the bar a bit high for them both, but it still disappointed me a bit. Kara was… I don’t know how to describe her. I got the feeling that the author wanted her to be seen as a supportive person, and I did feel that, but some of her actions ticked me off a bit. I didn’t dislike her, but I didn’t feel any warm and fuzzy feelings for her either.

However, setting aside these qualms, I liked this book. Again, it’s a quiet novel with no big and tragic scenes that run rampant in a lot of books. I’ll probably be reading something by Tia Fielding again.

Blurb #1: (Bookstrand.com) Storm Benedict was injured in a mine explosion when he was very young and wandered away from town dazed and disoriented. Ten years later, he returns a big, handsome, rough-talking, big-as-a-mountain cowboy who has inherited a ranching empire.

After learning of Storm’s inheritance, the town fathers attack the ranch and refuse to let it go until Storm gets married, so he sends for a mail-order bride.

Saul Denis is a city slicker from the east with a secret desire to become a cowboy, but he doesn’t have the money to travel west until his sister Sable receives a proposal from a big, good-looking cowboy with a sexy grin. Saul swipes the letter, making a deal with Sable to go in her place. When he meets Storm, he is overwhelmed, quickly falling in love with the big cowboy. Soon, Storm reunites with an old drifter friend, Curt Sanders, and sparks fly between all three men.

Will Storm’s passion for a drifter and a city slicker be the end of his empire, or will the three men stay together and fight for their love?

Or

Blurb #2: (Kelly Conrad.net) This long, tall, Texan is fightin’ and lovin’ his way across the pages of Kelly Conrad’s book, and into the hearts of every reader! Even though he don’t have a lot of schoolin’ he knows a liar and a cheat when he sees one. With his hands on his gun, and right on his side, he partners up with a drifter and a city slicker and puts his brand on a ranch called South Wind.

He thinks he’s got his hands full with the town fathers trying to cheat him out of his inheritance, but when he meets Sable Denis, his mail order bride, she falls in love with him, and thinks he likes men because of “something in the water.”

Read the Tall Texan, and see how Storm finally defeats the town fathers, and his hellcat of a mail order bride.

Review: If you read the blurb from Bookstrand.com then you will be disappointed with this book as it isn’t as the blurb described but if you read the blurb from Kelly Cronrad.com then you get just what is says on the tin.

If you want a decent story line then this has it.  The town fathers will do anything to keep hold of South Wind, no matter what it takes. Seeing the town fathers plotting to take Storm’s ranch makes you want to hog-tie the lot of them and let the Sheriff deal with them. The length’s that Storm will go to, to keep his ranch knows no bounds.

I liked the story line although it would have been nice if we could have known a little about what happened to Storm for the ten years that he was missing, although he doesn’t remember any of that time. It was good to know that the Sheriff was on Storm’s side and did everything in his power to help Storm, even helping to deal with his hellcat of a mail- order bride.

Sable Denis, Saul’s sister and the mail order bride, is a strong willed woman who wants her own way but with Storm she finds an even stronger willed male, who refuses to bend to her will. The sparks fly off these two characters first with lust then with dislike and it was interesting to read how these two clashed.

Saul Denis is trapped with his mother controlling the purse strings and takes the ticket to become a cowboy; he falls in love with Storm very quickly.  Curt Sanders is a drifter who knew Storm from before the accident, the two hit it off and then the clothes hit the floor.

If you want steaming hot m/f sex it’s here, there’s hot m/m and even some m/m/f (if you can discount that 2 males didn’t realize that the 3rd male left and was then replaced with a female) but sadly only one m/m/m scene.

If you want romance or to be able to follow what’s going on in the complex relationship between these 3 men then you won’t find it here.   There is little interaction in the book between Saul and Curt.  For that matter, there really isn’t that much between Saul and Storm either, but somehow they all come together in the end.

I would recommend this book if you just want hot sex as there is quite a bit of it and it is scorching in places, the main story is quite good but the relationship, romance and love is lacking.
