Review: Seth returns to his hometown eleven years after having his heart broken by his high school crush. Now he’s starting a new life with his children and starting up his new bakery, when his long ago crush walks back into his life. Jared never understood why Seth left him behind and now he has the chance to make Seth his. But, first they have to put the past to rest and sort out misunderstandings. But, someone doesn’t want them to be together and sets out to tear them apart.  Can Jared convince Seth to stick around and fight for their love?

This is a great story of two young men who were driven apart by malicious friends, and then reuniting years later to discover love. Seth has been through hell. Returning to his hometown with his children is the only thing he wants to do, but running into the man who broke his heart years before isn’t something he needed on his first day. Jared is excited that Seth has come home. He is determined to make Seth his and getting to the bottom of why Seth ran all those years ago is the first step. Jared is a very confident man, although he hid a part of himself when Seth left him. But, after learning that Seth was injured, Jared finally admitted to everyone what he really wanted and now he sets out to get it. Seth is a much more unsure character. He was ridiculed in school and then was hurt by Jared, so he is still sore years later. Add that to his recent loss and brush with death he does get emotional when those close to him are threatened.

Both characters are great and although at first there is some angst between them, they both recover quickly and dive into a rekindling of their feelings for each other. The relationship develops quickly and is both hot and loving. the children are sweet and cheeky and extended family wonderful. The storyline is good with a touch of malicious mischief, threats and a very unstable woman. I really liked how the story played out and I understood Seth’s reactions to the threats he received. I know some people don’t like crying men, but it really fits with the circumstances and wasn’t over the top.

I will recommend this to those who love reuniting high school crushes, an unstable threat, danger, hot sex, settling the past and a very happy ending.

Blurb: The only place where shy and insecure Ash can unleash the beast inside him is the online world of Dragon Games. When he meets Jayden, the attraction feels real, but is there a world for them outside of cyberspace?

Ash is shy and insecure around men and there’s only one place where he can unleash the beast inside him–the online world of Dragon Games. It’s here that his virtual character enables him to express traits he’s normally hesitant to share. When a hunky knight unexpectedly suggests they explore a raunchier kind of role play, Ash is only too happy to lead the way.

Jayden has only recently started exploring the wonders of online intimacy. He is constantly pulled further into a fantasy world where his virtual heart and virginity are soon claimed by an intriguing dragon rebel who enchants him. If only he could convince his cyber-lover to meet him in the real world…

Review: Ash has had his confidence bashed by his ex-boyfriend. Now he can only really let himself go when he is playing games in the online world. When he connects online with another character, he wishes he could get to know him more. And then there is also the sexy baker across the road that caught his eye, but Ash just can’t see the baker ever being serious about him. Jayden has started anew in a new town, his past experience with an ex-boyfriend also haunts him and although he has had some hook-ups he is drawn to the sexy guy in the antiques store across the road who won’t give him the time of day, so he relies on his online friendship with a dragon who intrigues him.

This is a great story about two men who have both had their confidence bashed by their ex-boyfriends. They both have their own ways of dealing with it, but they are both vulnerable to how others see and treat them. Ash has crawled into his shell and rarely leaves it. His view of himself is skewed and he has no social skills to speak of. Jayden was stripped bare by his ex, and although he still tries to be confident, the slightest knock sends him running for something sweet and chocolaty to eat.

I enjoyed this story as we see Jayden and Ash meeting in cyber space unaware of who their new friend is and then out in the real world as both characters lust after the other, but mistake each other’s actions. Both men have similar interests and they have instant lust between them, they have brief flashes of connection before their insecurities get the better of them. And then just as they both open up to each other, a terrible accident makes them grab happiness while they can. This is a well written story that has some really hot cyber action which carries over beautifully into the real world. It has two great characters who are both insecure and perfect for each other and make a really hot couple.

I will recommend this to those who love characters that fumble with life, some hot action with a Chocolate Mousse Mountain, opening your heart and a very happy ending.

When the three meet, sparks fly, and Matthew thinks he’s finally found what he’s been missing.

Review: Andrew is a runner preparing for the most intense run of his life, a fifty-two mile run through the wilds for his sponsors, Deadzone. Andrew has had a crush on Marcel since he joined Andrew’s run security team, but Marcel only seems to see him as a brother. Marcel has wanted Andrew for years, but has always been reserved. But, now with Andrew missing Marcel is determined to tell him how he feels when they find him. Matthew volunteers to be a member of a small team sent in to find one of the most famous athletes of their time. Finding himself attracted to his fellow rescuer, Marcel, he has no qualms in letting the man know he is interested. Finding himself also attracted to Andrew, Matthew makes it his mission to get Marcel and Andrew to accept how they feel and all three find what they have been missing. But, getting out of the wilds is dangerous, especially when they uncover a government secret. Can the three men protect their new-found love?

This story is a great addition to the Deadzone series, giving us a mysterious government conspiracy and the love of three men. Andrew lives to run. it is what he is good at and he loves it. Marcel works as a field agent at Deadzone. His first assignment was for the run team and he has stuck with it ever since. Matthew worked for SCAB, but after a traumatic assignment he isn’t sure what he will do next. The three men come together when Andrew’s run goes horrible wrong and he is running for his life in an area overwhelmed by zombies. Andrew, Marcel and Matthew make a startling discovery as they make their escape, a discovery UFM doesn’t want to get out.

Although this story still has zombies, chases, escapes and new discoveries, it is mainly focused on the relationship between Andrew, Marcel and Matthew. As they explore their new love and relationship, they also discover where they fit together in the relationship; Matthew and Andrew have to put their fears to rest. Marcel is the most well-balanced and is a calm influence who will push his men when needed. Matthew is losing himself to depression when his dad disappears and he is unable to get a job. and Andrew has a fear of crowds and prefers his solitude life, although he opens up enough for his two lovers to share his life.

I really enjoyed this story and its new discoveries. The characters are excellent and I found their relationship to be loving, with just a few difficulties thrown in to shake it up a bit. The storyline moved well and I liked that they had normal worries like finding a job to think of. Their relationship slotted together perfectly and while they were in the wilds they had some really hot sex that only gives you a slight niggle about appropriate places. The support they showed each other was wonderful and I was happy that they waited before declaring their love. I really can’t wait for future stories from Deadzone because the discoveries that are made are really tantalizing and have really got me intrigued.

I will recommend this to those who love threesomes, zombies, chases, hunting, government secrets, hot sex, great characters and a very happy ending.

Review: Talon can’t remember anything from before his parents disappeared. His adoptive parents have told him everything he knows about being Vermithian and he has sworn to never find his mate for the very real fear of pregnancy. On a routine delivery with his adopted sister, they are thrown across the universe during a storm. Crash landing on Tumaro is the least of Talon’s worry when he awakens and can’t find his sister and is confronted with his mate, Blaze. Blaze is overjoyed to finally have his mate, discovering his mate is also Vermithian is a blessing. Having their mating blessed by The One makes everyone happy, but there are a few who decide that they must go and they face a conspiracy that is centuries’ old, Blaze also has to look for Talon’s brothers and rescue them, brothers that Talon has no knowledge of.

This is a great science fiction story, weaving together an interesting view on what the human race could become. Blaze is the wolf shifter Alpha King. It was prophesied that an Alpha King would mate a Vermithian and change Tumaro forever. Talon has a target on his head, someone high up in GPA wants him and his family wiped out. Crash landing on Tumaro leads him to the man that he is destined for, a mate he doesn’t want. Coming to terms with his new circumstances, Talon embraces his mating, but still holds back a little, doubting he could fall in love so quickly.

Talon is a fantastic character; he’s fun, bossy and sweet. Blaze is a wonderful man; he’s an understanding, strong Alpha. He will do anything for his mate and his every breath is devoted to Talon. They make a fantastic couple and are very hot together. The storyline is brilliant and we meet lots of interesting characters who hopefully will get their own stories. There are a couple of different threads that come together in this story; an old conspiracy to eradicate humans, a prophecy of the Alpha King, a character being blackmailed, some complicated matings, and interesting background stories that look like they will be continued in future books. We are given a story filled with conspiracy, kidnapping, murder, plots and love.

I recommend this to those who love science fiction, shifters, falling in love, m-preg, a touch of kink, great characters, a brilliant storyline, lots of hints for the future and a very happy ending.

Blurb: The hottest nightclub in town. A man with a penchant for watching others engage in sexual acts. A shapeshifter with an obsessive ex. Nothing can go wrong, can it?

Lights, cameras, and a whole lot of action.

Voyeur was built on a simple premise: people like to watch. When Gage Sinclair hires Chi Zimmer, it’s strictly because he wants to bed him, but what Gage learns about Chi could lead to Gage’s death at the hands of Chi’s obsessive ex.

When confronted with Chi’s secrets, Gage must decide whether to stay with him or give up the one man who means the world to him.

Purchase Link: https://spsilverpublishing.com/voyeur-ebook-p-1442.html

Review: Gage has worked hard to get Voyeur off the ground with his friend, Ben. Now they are finally opening the exclusive nightclub. Employing the young man who walks in off the street is an impulse. An impulse driven by Gage’s wish to bed him, but what he wants from Chi soon changes when he becomes jealous. Chi hasn’t been in town that long, so he jumps at the chance to work at Voyeur. Getting involved with Gage is not his brightest idea, especially when his ex refuses to let him go.

This book is great for a quick easy shifter read. Gage likes playing the field, after being in a long-term relationship, he still doesn’t feel ready to try permanent again. Opening Voyeur is a dream of his. A place where you can enjoy voyeurism in all its forms, while having a good time with friends. When he employs Chi. he has no idea what awaits him with the sexy young man. Chi left his home and family to get away from a controlling relationship, when he meets Gage, Chi has the chance to be himself and after a rocky start Gage and Chi begin to dream of more. But, Chi’s past won’t let him go and Gage’s life is in danger.

This is quite a good story that has a strong relationship developing between Gage and Chi, but I found that the shifter part was a hard part of the story to swallow. Chi is a great character; he has strong views of what he wants and doesn’t like to play games. Gage thinks he knows what he wants, but meeting Chi throws him. Discovering the truth about Chi, shocks and scares him. Their relationship is very hot and sexual, but there is a slight touch of the unknown as they fumble with what they both want and what they can have.

Although I liked this story it didn’t quite feel right for me, there was just something that made it awkward and Chi’s behavior wasn’t always consistent. The shifter part was cloaked in quite a bit of mystery and although I would love to say that it made it more interesting, well it didn’t. and the way that Chi resolved the issue wasn’t realistic to the story, even if he was defending the man he loved. Gage’s reaction to Chi’s secrets was brilliantly done and I did like how Gage and Chi’s relationship developed and how they were together.

I will recommend this to those who love new beginnings, finding love when least expecting it, hot sex, shifters, a touch of kink, a touch of danger and a very happy ending.

Review:  Nash Rhodes rides into Fallen Creek on his Harley thinking it’s just another pit stop on his ride. Not looking for any trouble, but trouble finds him nonetheless. Cullen O’Murphy is a lone wolf that just wants to be left alone. When Cullen meets Nash at the local bar, more than just chemistry will force these two together.

These two men share more than a mutual attraction to one another. Nash left his motorcycle gang because of its homophobic leader, who was less than thrilled to have a gay man in his ranks. Cullen has had to deal with homophobia among his fellow shifters, hence the reason he prefers to not be part of a pack. There’s another juicy detail that makes these two more alike than even they could imagine, but that would be a spoiler so you’ll have to read this story yourself for that little tidbit!

Equal parts intrigue, mystery and secrecy make this an enticing read. Nash and Cullen try to ignore the sexual tension at the start, but when circumstance finds them in close quarters they give in to the desire. The alpha male in Cullen wants not only to protect Nash, but to claim him as his and his alone. Cullen easily takes out the local pack leader, but when Nash’s former boss tracks him down, he isn’t quite so easy to maintain.

The story started out a little slow but found steady footing in the end. If you are a fan of gay, shifter stories with a HFN ending then this is a must read for you. The characters have depth and realism to them and the story flowed well once it got going. I am anxious to see if there will be a continuation to this story as the author left a few unanswered questions and I’d really like to hear Ten’s story. Overall this was a fun lazy day kind of read!

Blurb: Zev Hassick is surprised and confused when he finds himself attracted to his best friend. His very human, very male best friend. Zev is the son of the pack Alpha, regarded as the strongest wolf in generations, born to lead. And everyone knows a male shifter has to mate with a female of his own kind to keep his humanity. So shifters can’t be gay, right?

Jonah Marvel wants a relationship with Zev, his best friend, the man he has loved since childhood. It wasn’t easy to maintain that relationship over years spent living apart while Jonah studied to become a doctor. And then things grow more difficult when Jonah becomes his own patient. Before he can make a life with Zev, he has to understand his past and cure the unexplained ailments that plague him.

Zev and Jonah know they’re destined for each other, but they’re facing traditions ingrained over generations and long-buried secrets that may threaten any future together.

Review: Zev can’t believe that what he feels for his best friend, Jonah, is more than just friendship. Jonah is human and male and Zev has always been told that he will tie to a shifter female or lose his humanity, so Jonah can’t be his true mate… can he? Jonah has loved Zev for years and he has lived with the limited relationship that they have had while he was studying to become a doctor. But, Jonah becomes convinced there is something wrong with him and has to look to his mother’s past to discover secrets long buried. Together Zev and Jonah have to challenge generations of belief and prejudice to be together.

This is a great shifter story that gives a new view on shifters and the world they live in. Zev and Jonah are a fantastic couple. They first meet when they are still babies, Zev in wolf form tracks down a smell that he can’t resist and comes across a baby Jonah. From there they meet through the years as wolf and boy before meeting finally as two seven-year old boys. They become best friends and when they reach eighteen they admit how they feel for each other. But, Zev has had to get his father and pack to start seeing humans in a different light, rather than as half-souls who are beneath them. But still, bringing a human home as a mate will be hard. Bringing a human male as a mate, will be harder.

I loved this story. it was perfect, going from childhood best friends to adult lovers. Zev refusing to take that final step until Jonah could be all his. A perfect sweet romance with a twist of mystery. I loved how we had flashbacks to Zev and Jonah’s past, seeing them together as they grow up and develop a great friendship. It would have been nice to have a clearer sign that we were about to delve into a flashback, but it was still well done. Another thing I loved was that although Zev and Jonah had a clear feeling that they were meant to be together, Zev managed to hold out for years before completing the bond. So yeah. Instant mate connection. but far from an instant mating.

Cardeno C. has written a story that keeps your interest. It has an interesting shifter element and has woven bigotry, prejudice, love, overcoming circumstances, friendships and secrets together to bring us a story that is sweet with a tinge of mystery and danger. Neither Zev nor Jonah has it easy, though, because the longer they are apart the harder it is for them to cope with the separation and as Jonah still hasn’t got a clue about shifters. The stress and strain drive him to nearly cheat… so you have been warned. I personally feel that Zev should have explained things earlier to Jonah, at least then Jonah might have had a clue as to what was happening to him.

I will recommend this to those who love shifters, hot loving, sacrifice, strong and enduring love, mysterious happenings, a touch of danger and a very happy ending. Grabbing a cuppa and snuggling with this book is a great way to spend an evening.

Review: Okay, so this book is divided in two. First part is “Who I AM” and I quite literally loooved it. That is the story of a little girl born in the wrong damn body, and as it appeared in the wrong family, too. Her father dies early and from that moment on her life becomes a living nightmare. Her brother is bound on making her life Hell and her, while seeing the abuse and violence, turns a blind eye. The only reason Desire survived her childhood at all was her surrogate family. The family of her best friends who always kept an eye on her, and her grandmother. Who while alive couldn’t help her much, did so by her death, leaving Desire a huge amount of money that translates into her independence. The first part of the story follows on with Desire going from relationship to relationship, hardships along the way and abusive men in her life all leading into her finding who she really is.

And while I loved this part of the story I also got an extreme headache with the flashbacks and the narration. It took me a while, but I finally figured it out that the whole book is written as a script. Told in an almost clinical way, as if the narrator is hiding behind a peephole seeing it all and leaving all feelings and emotions in your imagination. Something that makes Desire’s story even more horrific in your eyes.

However there comes part two of the book, “What I Want”, which lost me completely. I simply couldn’t see it or get attached to the story. This part starts with an Oprah show where Desire is a guest. Her life has taken off and she is now a star, but things are quite different from what part one made you think they were going to be. This entire part is so full on fast-forwards and flashbacks that it requires you to constantly be on your toes and full focused in order to follow the story. It irritated me a lot. I was too invested in Desire’s life with her husband that this entire back and forth hit on my nerves and didn’t let me enjoy it. To add more to my irritation the author focused so much on the outfit Desire wore that I had this feeling of reading “Sex & the City” with Carry Bradshaw’s obsession with trend marks.

The People’s Choice Awards Desiré’s Dark Brown hair is bunned at the base of her neck as she stands in a Fuchsia Dalia MacPhee One-Shoulder Ruffle Dress with Multifloral Aldo Shurkus Pumps in between her sisters Monica who’s wearing a Navy Adrianna Papell Polka Dot Halter Dress with Pink Enzo Angiolini Show You Pumps as her Blonde wavy hair falls past her shoulders & Rachel in a Red Laundry by Shelli Segal Draped Jersey Gown paired with Red Charles David Complex pumps with her Blond hair in a high bun.

And that flows on in the entire second part of this book and really made me want to close it and stop reading. Let’s just that part two is like reading a TV show something that doesn’t appeal me at all.

So in the end, I liked only half of this book. The end itself was the predictable happily ever after, after a lifetime of struggles for the heroine who finally, finally got all she ever wanted.

Review: This is a short story about two men who have been friends for years. High School, College and now rooming together. both have been into women, but not one of them has been successful in having a serious relationship as something is amiss. Until one day Rex comes home to find Paul masturbating on the couch in the living room. The image is so intense and has Rex reeling, but even more, he finds the image more arousing than any of his former dates has ever been. As for Paul, he has always had a crush on his best friend.

Both characters here in this story are virgins when it comes to male/male relationships. In an attempt to find more about himself and to see if the crush can lead to something more substantial, Paul arranges himself a blind date through !Night Stand agency. Little does he know that Rex finds the link in his pc and arranges to attend the date and see if there can be more than friendship between them.

The story is quite the stereotypical gay-for-you and friends-to-lovers type. While I didn’t exactly dislike it I was leftTwo men and a virgin_MD uninterested in the whole idea. Not quite the appeal for me. The guys were too adventurous in their first attempt of m/m sex and somehow it struck me as odd. What was even weirder was the constant mention of their common female friend, Andie. Digging deeper Andie features in another story with the pair, so I assume this was the way for the author to bring her in the plot and seed another installment. Yet in this particular story she took way too much room in the text for never making an appearance.

As it is the sexual part of the story since this is an erotica was from mild to even fun. Although, as I mentioned, a bit adventurous if we keep in mind both guys were virgins to anal or oral. And while I liked their personas I didn’t get too much into them. The eroticism and sensuality I would prefer weren’t there. The end itself was not really satisfying as well, as it left you wondering what the heck happened.

It is however a nice short story for a quick read in the bus or train, and if you are so inclined there is a follow-up for Rex and Paul with the addition of Andie in another story in the series.

Too handsome and talented for their own good, Calder and Taryen have learned to trust only each other in order to survive. Bred to be feared warriors and exclusive companions to a queen, instead they’re slaves to other Rayians desires for them.

Their brutal lives make the two consorts hesitant to care for Sari when she’s unexpectedly dumped in their laps, but they soon discover she’s different from the cruel women they’re used to serving. Drawn to Sari on a soul deep level, Calder and Taryen can’t seem to stop themselves from going back for one more taste of the beautiful outsider… even when it puts the fate of the entire world in jeopardy.

Review: Oh Holy Mother of Hades, what a story. What a book. What an unexpected surprise to have found such a lovely read. See I’m always wary when I read ménage that involves a pair of males and a female, because most books I’ve read have been such a disappointment, but Oh My God, this book was excellent.

The story takes place in a world that Ms. Moon created with (I can only imagine) such care and devotion. The planet Auroria has a peculiar lifestyle and magic. The females are not only respected there, but called divine, especially those of the Capital. They are called Sisters of The Great Mother (the Queen) and each of them forms a bond with a pair of life mates (two men). The energy between them comes then to a balance and the bond is a very strong one. The Queen herself has great powers and the life-force of the very planet is linked with her. When the Queen is happy the sun shines bright, when she is sad rain falls from the sky and when she is mad well… you get the picture. The Queen becomes stronger once she has created her bond with her consorts. They must also be very strong and powerful to help balance her and keep her happy so the rest of the planet can benefit from her powers. Hence, they are joined with their Queen since birth, their time of birth close together. They share a life time only to be driven apart from their Queen for one year when they are seventeen. During that year the Queen must stay away from her consorts to appreciate their presence and never take it for granted and the Consorts themselves learn how to best please and serve her so when they finally come back, the sun will shine and their bond will remain sacred forever.

This is the world we dive into. This is the concept and their culture. This is how the very ménage that could be trite transforms to a majestic relationship.

But the last Queen was murdered along with one of her consorts and the Princess was rushed out of the walls of the Palace to safety. Ever since, the planet plunged in darkness and people forgot what sunshine was like. The commoners suffered in poverty and the Council of the Sisters gained great power, their greed insatiable, and their hunger for blood terrifying. The few Royalist still devoted to the Queen are powerless and unable to prevent the most horrible thing of all, the abuse, violation and molestation of the Queen’s Consorts in the hands of the Sisters. The pair that share the same soul with the Queen, the very one that are supposed to be hers and hers alone are treated no more than sex-slaves and constantly tortured by vicious women in order to kill the moral of those who still believe in the Queen’s return.

No, this is not just a story with a threesome thrown in there and focusing on the sex scenes. This is a wholesome story of love, lust, magic and power. This is a story that will grab your heart in one fierce hold and shake you to the core. You’ll shudder in the violence that is hidden inside these pages, you’ll want to kill, maim, split in two and rip hearts out. You’ll want to be there in the midst of the battlefield, because there will be battles fighting when they make the final stand.

And you’ll fall in love divine. You’ll feel the brilliance of something unique and you’ll probably think “what a great, great read”. I truly loved this book. Everything in it called to me. Before I knew it I was so much engrossed with the characters, their story and suffering that the anger on their behalf took me by surprise, an excellent achievement for the author, quite a talented hand there.

And I could stand here writing and writing forever for this one, but I think I have already said enough. I have given you the set up where the story lies but you’ll have to take that step and jump into this world yourself and feel the story first hand, I can only say that it’s beyond worth it. Strongly recommended.

Review: This book is part of the Notice series best read in order.

This is book four for Josh and Varian and their story keeps going after they are married. In this novella they are having not one, but two ceremonies.

The first ceremony is a big and formal one so that Varian’s clan will accept Jenny, their daughter as their own.

The second is a more private one and the consequences will affect only Varian, Josh and Huntington, Varian’s brother. Their decision to adopt and be fathers and family to Jenny means they need to be immortals as well. And Justin wanting to bond with them through blood could mean lots of thing. They will either survive the blood sharing or they will not be strong enough and lose their life.

But that is not the only danger in the future for them. First they must survive the first ceremony and that proves a bit challenging.

Well, I am a dragon lover for life, have been since a child, but truth is that this book didn’t hold much interest in me. Yes, the lore is somehow fascinating. Varian is a dragon clan leader and their diversity and powers are very cool, loved ‘em all. The fact that dragons aren’t born immortals is also a very enticing part of the story as well.

My issues were with the narration mostly. This book is told from Varian’s point of view, yet it felt too impersonal to me. As if Varian was detached from himself while living the story. The plot while it had many opportunities to arise emotions and tension failed to do so. It started as almost a boring tale and while it slowly built up the feeling that something is about to happen, it didn’t reach the goal of making your heart beat faster and get engrossed in the story when that “bad thing” did in fact happen. It was perhaps the fact that there was no space for the proper development, or there could be many reasons why it failed to grip me, but so it did.

For the second part of the story and therefore the second ceremony Varian was a bit more approachable, but still the enormity of what that meant was quite lost, too. It just happened so fast. as if the fact that three people turned immortals was an everyday issue, and right after that they jumped into doing the noble thing and that was quite the cliché that had me simply reading without ever falling in the story head first or feeling involved with it.

Bottom end, this was a nice book, with a nice story and if you’ve followed the series then you’ll probably love the turn of things. If not, then you probably should and give yourself some time with the characters to know them and get attached with them, while learning about this enticing world of dragons.

Review:  Collin Greystone has known and loved Nikolai Markov since he was four years old. When Nik was kidnapped at the age of ten, he locked away part of himself so he’d never be hurt again; morphing himself into the vicious killer he is today. The trouble is when he locked away his emotions, the ones that connected him to Collin were locked up as well.

Feeling that he’d lost the boy he loved, Collin removed himself from Nik’s life to avoid any further heartbreak. He was trained to be able to protect himself; as a member of the infamous Santorno/Markov/Panchenko inner circle, the Greystone family could be put in harm’s way at any given moment. He then went to college thinking he’d finally be able to forget about young Markov. Fans of the series will know that Collin fell back into Nik’s arms, quite literally, several books back. Collin was heartbroken again when Nik didn’t even remember the love they shared as children. Nik, however, was instantly pulled into Collin’s orbit. But, young Markov has a reputation as man whore, and Collin wants nothing to do with him.

Our latest installment in the series finds Collin in imminent danger and Nik has been sent by Mark and Paul Greystone to protect their son at any cost. Determined to protect Collin and make him his own, Nik slowly starts to regain his memories of their shared past. Just when it seems that Nik will finally get his man, someone close to Collin, someone they thought they could trust betrays them. These two young men truly are destined to be together. But, will they survive the fury of Carmine Rizzo and find common ground, finally be able to love each other and set aside the past?

Gasq-Dion has yet another hit on her hands! Seventeen books into this series and she always seems to come up with something fresh for each book. Weaving well-known and much-loved characters from other books in the series into every story is her niche’. She also has a keen sense of the male anatomy. The sex scenes are passionate, sensual, sexy and just downright HOT! And if you thought she was getting close to wrapping up this series, think again. Runaways Skylar and Elijah have set their sights on a couple of our favorite shifters, and oh goddamn, I can’t wait for them to get their man!!

I whole heartedly recommend this series. If you are a fan of sex on a stick storylines, romance, intrigue, suspense, paranormal, werewolves, assassins… and oh so much more, you are going to love this series. I would say please start at the beginning with A Marked Man, but each book can easily stand alone.

Review: Nicholas is the crown prince of the snake shifters. He is surprised when he is approached by the dragon crown prince, Edward, for aid. Snake and dragon shifters think each other inferior, so for a dragon to hunt out a snake for aid is extremely rare. When Nicholas gives Edward a place to stay, they rapidly fall in love and they decide to mate. But, tensions run high in their kingdoms when their fathers’ find out. Now it’s a race against time to complete the mating ritual before their fathers destroy each other.

This is a great story to read if you are looking for a sexually charged shifter story. Nicholas and Edward make a very sexual and hot couple. they fit together like two halves of a whole even though they are different species. The storyline is interesting with its tension and arrogance between the species; the role that Mother Nature plays and Nicholas and Edward’s determination to stay together no matter what. The sexual descriptions are down and dirty, rough and passionate, there is no tender loving just passionate sex including some dragon tail loving.

There are a couple of times that you have niggles, like they fell in love really quick or you felt the sex was at an inappropriate time, but the author addresses these issues quite nicely each time and with humor in some places. The writing becomes stilted and more formal at times, but that is when the characters seem to be addressing us, the readers, in explanation. There are some characters that we meet that will be in future books and the storyline will follow on with the uniting of the different species.

I will recommend this story to those that want a hot shifter sex fix, explicit sex, interesting characters, a hot foursome, finding surprising love and a very happy hot ending.

Blurb: Gene Sage has only ever wanted to sing, but his band, Evolution, is pushing him toward the big time. He finds it hard to focus on making musical history when he’s dreaming of graveyards and seeing ghosts. And while all he can think of is hiding who he is from a world unforgiving of anyone different, he discovers he’s also the ultimate snack for vampires and demons. When Gene literally runs into—over—his idol, Kerstrande Petterson, rock god, vampire in hiding, and music cynic, his life falls over the edge into chaos.

Jaded by the world and nearly a decade in the music business, Kerstrande thinks Gene wants to use him to make Evolution immortal in more than one way, but he can’t seem to brush aside the young singer’s enthusiasm.

Getting involved with Kerstrande drags Gene into otherworldly power struggles. Between the ghosts stalking them, the media painting supernaturals as villains, and a vampire out of control in the city, the only way for Gene and Kerstrande to survive is for Gene to embrace his powers—and his destiny.

Review: Genesis (Gene) only wants to sing with his band Evolution. he doesn’t care about fame and fortune just the music. When Gene hits a man with his car, he is shocked to discover it is retired rock star, Kerstrande (KC) and his life is about to get even more out of control. Seeing ghosts and people’s auras, and dreaming of graveyards is the norm for Gene, but being the chew toy for vampires isn’t. Being attracted to Kerstrande, Gene refuses to let Kerstrande push him away, and Gene is dragged into the paranormal world that he has always ignored. Kerstrande thinks Gene only wants him for the riches and power that he possesses, but his own pull towards the young man won’t let him walk away. Having to confront old friends to keep Gene safe and fighting his own past demons, Kerstrande has to accept Gene means more to him than he wanted him to.

This is quite a good fantasy novel from a first time published author. Gene is different from most people… he can see and speak to ghosts. He can also see the auras of people and read their moods and Gene is about to discover that he is even more different from he thought. KC is a retired rock star; he’s also a vampire in hiding and one with a dark past. When KC and Gene collide, it is the beginning of a reluctant relationship laced with bitterness and resentment before blooming into more.

The storyline is one where you learn as you go. We slowly discover the paranormal beings. we piece together what is happening with Gene and what he is becoming and watch as Gene and KC struggle to find balance in their relationship. I must admit I began to like Gene a hell of a lot more when he started to stand up for himself, instead of letting people walk all over him. Some of his so-called friends were just manipulative, but some of them were real gems like Cris. KC has been used and manipulated in the past so he is very wary of Gene, pushing him away with his nasty attitude. Gene won’t give up, though, until he has cracked KC’s shell.

I will admit that while I liked this story I found it to be a bit creepy as well. Gene is seventeen and by his own admission has been sexually active for a couple of years, and what I found creepy was that although some of the men he slept with looked the same age they were much older. What I liked about this book was the paranormal aspect and the strange relationship between Gene and KC. the paranormals are known to humans and there are laws in place and there’s even a group called Preservation Group who want to wipe out the paranormals. The vampires have their good and bad, there’s an incubus and maybe a demon. It is all really vague and mysterious and you keep hoping something more will be revealed. I will also add a warning here that there is a near rape scene and some scenes of apparent orgies.

I will recommend this story to those that love paranormal, young adult, danger, discovery, a strange relationship and an ending that could mean there’s more to follow.

Review: Cole, Cam and Bobby have been best friends for year. Growing up together, they formed their own coven and practiced magic. When they graduated Cam and Bobby left to follow their dreams, leaving Cole behind. Ten years later Cam and Bobby return to their hometown with both their dreams in tatters, returning to Cole. Now they are all in trouble. Getting involved with powerful magic user, Darius has left them with little options left. they have to reforge their bond that has weaken with time if they are to get out of the clutches of Darius.

This is a fantastic magic story that delves into the darker side of magic as three friends battle to get out of the clutches of the charismatic and dangerous magic user. Cole, Cam and Bobby forged bonds when they were young, now years later they have to reforge that bond. But, one of them feels guilt, guilt that the reason they are all together again is their fault. Their relationship is unsteady as doubts linger. But, the only way to truly be rid of Darius, a man who wishes to control them, is to reconnect to what they had in childhood.

This story has some wonderful sexual sensuality, a longing for what once was and a love deep enough to bring a man back from the edge of madness. There’s a fine line between good and bad, and once the reins of control has been lost, madness is sure to follow. And that’s what happens to one of these characters as he seeks to protect those he loves. Darius wants complete control and he uses his powers to try to force Cam, Cole and Bobby into agreeing, once they realize what he really wants from them. Cam, Bobby and Cole go through some dark moments trying to break away from Darius. there’s some not quite welcome sexual scenes, and incredible three-way sex and double penetration, and we see one of them getting deeper and deeper into darkness and madness. This story is really well written, giving us vivid descriptions and has a slick sensuality to its characters, the storyline is great without any quick fix to their solution.

I will recommend this story to those who love sex magic, hot sex, a great storyline, brilliant characters and a very happy ending.
