At least it’s not the mountain lion who chased him there to begin with. Still it takes a while before Sawyer’s convinced he’s not seeing things. Review: Jamie is a squirrel shifter who lives among a bunch of big ass cats. He was adopted into the family but I am not sure if I would say it is a happy place. So while out he finds a sexy human stuck in a tree. It would seem that one of his brothers ran the poor guy up one. Not a great way for an introduction if I might say so.

It is a cute story but with all short stories they just seem to be missing something extra. In this one they give you an insight into the pain in the ass brother but then zip. You would think there would have been a bit of a payback given. Other than that it was a blast to read.

Review: Dustin has just been traded to the Arizona Hares. He wondered if they even had lakes, because his otter was not pleased one bit. What’s more, his new captain is getting on his nerves. That is until Chandler shows him that he wants to get on more than just that.

This is a fun little read, just perfect for that stress free break one would need. It has quite a bit of humor to it which was not a surprise but quite enjoyable. I love the unique characters and the fact that they play hockey. I just got a kick out of that little twist to this story.

It was fun and I would definitely recommend it.

T.C. Orton

Down the twists and turns of the London alleyways, where Chinatown meets the highstreets, lies a small venue where unknown rock bands often play to crowds of less than one-hundred.

Isaac is nineteen, living on the sofa of his best friend’s brother – Eric – after his bible-loving parents tossed him aside because of his sexuality. After two years of struggling to make sense of his life, Eric and Charlotte convince Isaac to attend Red’s gig; an up and coming rock band with a small cult following.

All hell breaks loose and Isaac is left injured, with the whereabouts of his friends unknown and his body crippled on the ground. It’s then that the four members – Troy, Nicolai, Kyle and Moss – aid Isaac by infecting him with a ‘magical’ virus that grants immortality in exchange for consuming blood.

The ‘Paranorm’ world is exposed to Isaac. Vampires, werewolves and warlocks lurk in the depths of the city he has lived in his entire life, but he won’t become one with the night until he completes his nine-month transition, leaving him in the hands of the band and at the mercy of vampire politics.

Grace R. Duncan

Dr. Miles Grant acknowledges that his destined mate could be either gender even though his bisexuality cost him his family and his pack. Luckily he found the Forbes Pack, who happily accept him just as he is. What he never counted on was finding his mate in Pittsburgh or for his mate to be another species entirely—a cat!

Quincy Archer isn’t just any jaguar shifter. He is the heir to the leadership of his pride. Destined mates are nothing but legend to the nearly extinct and generally solitary jaguars, and Quincy certainly never expected to find one for himself, much less a male… or a wolf.

However, finding each other and coming to terms with their species is the least of their worries. Quincy is expected to select a proper female mate, father a cub, and take his place as heir to the pride. Except Quincy refuses, having no interest in women or leadership and knowing he isn’t right for it. But his father will stop at nothing—not even attempting to kill Miles—to get his way. Quincy and Miles must overcome many obstacles to stay together as the destined mates they’re meant to be.

THIRDSBanner450Review: I came across Charlie in the middle of this series, and in fact it was on audible when I got my first taste to these amazing characters. I was enchanted from the very start and have always wondered many times what happens to the characters that you don’t hear about. So when I found out that this author was in fact giving us that taste, I had to jump at it.

In this particular book you are going to find out what happens between them on the flip side. You will hear about Dex and the cat nip, Hobb’s reaction to Calvin getting hot and heavy with another, but you will also hear about when Cale was brought home for the first time to meet his new big brother, Dex and his parents and so forth. It even gives you a glimpse into the next story.

I was amazed that this author actually gave us this inside story, and it has made me a true fan. I have always loved romance stories and it has only been the past three years that I got interested in gay romance. I fear that there is always that chance, like in the past where I lose interest in books of one type.

However I can guarantee that this will be one author that I think I could continue to follow through the times. I always loved that even if there is a serious tone, Charlie gives you quite a bit of humor in them.

I had a lot of fun with this book and look forward to the next Thirds story.

Review: Jackson is one unusual wolf. He hates meat and hates to kill. He thought he was alone until a bear lets him in on a secret.

This story is way too short to give you a good idea of what it is about without giving away the story. It was too damn creepy to even get a liking for. It starts off better than it ended that is for sure. I am afraid that this is one story that was not for me.

I was quite disappointed in it altogether.

Review:  Tams’ 5 Heart E-book Review (March 2016)

Every really good Author has their proverbial ‘Murphy’s Law’ coupling. Diana Gabaldon has Claire and Jaime, Mary Calmes has Sam and Jory, Abigail Roux has Ty and Zane, and Rhys Ford has Cole and Jae. Cole and Jae have been through so much, both as a couple and on their own before they even met. It’s taken a very long time for Jae to live his life openly, to admit he loves Cole and to own his sexuality. Whereas Cole has always worn his sexuality like a badge.

As this story starts, it looks like Cole is still up to his finding trouble no matter where he goes antics, but it also looks like he and Jae are finally settling into a comfortable relationship with no boundaries or barriers.

Well, if you know Cole and Jae, you know that them being happy is like a homing beacon for trouble. You also know Cole will stop at nothing to protect those he loves. Everything is about to come full circle for this unlikely duo. Someone in Jae’s estranged family reaches out to Cole and Jae for help, which is laughable, considering what said family have put them both through.

And then another ghost from Cole’s past decides to start wreaking havoc and putting bullet holes in anyone or anything standing still. Is it just an unhappy coincidence that these things are happening simultaneously? Or has the grim reaper finally come to collect the debt Cole squirmed his way out of when he survived the shooting that took his former lovers life?

I think what has drawn me to this series with each new story is not only watching Cole and Jae struggling with issues both as a couple, and as individuals. Watching their bullet riddled love story unfold. I think it’s the way their feelings, emotions and thoughts have been described in such meticulous detailing that I feel I can almost see inside them. Ford could possibly make a sociopath feel with the way she vividly describes the characters and their emotions.

Another fantastic aspect of Ford’s stories, not just this series, is how she creates these secondary characters that are as vital to the story as Cole and Jae are. Then there is the dry, witty sarcastic sense of humor Cole embodies.

Jae goes off on Cole at one point in this story, having had enough of his pleas with Cole to “not get hurt” or “not get shot” ignored quite long enough. It is hysterical. I laughed so hard I think I peed my pants just a bit. Claudia deserves mom of the year y’all! And Bobby, that man cracks me up. One of my favorite lines in the book came from Bobby, talking to Cole.

“Get out of my truck so I can go home and fuck your brother.”

Definitely a must read story for fans of the Author and/or the series. If you don’t grab a copy you will never know exactly what drove Cole’s former partner on the police force to shoot Cole and his then lover, leaving one of them dead before turning the gun on himself. I’ll admit that I have had a couple of theories since the first book.

And I was surprised when the truth is revealed. If you like action packed, non-stop, thrill a minute stories with flawed, three-dimensional characters and these absolutely insane story lines… I would wonder why you haven’t read this series yet.

Tams’ 5 Heart Audiobook Review (June 2016)

Rhys Ford and Greg Tremblay… a more perfect union could not be found I tell you. Between Ford’s immaculate attention to detail and the way she can shape and mold words, and Tremblay’s ability to breathe life into any character he voices… its chocolate for my ears! I couldn’t be more pleased that Tremblay carried the torch from start to finish for this series. I came to feel like the characters I was listening to were old friends, and every year or so we would have a visit, bullet proof vest and riot gear required, of course.

Everything comes to a volcanic head in this last book, and when it finally blows, no one is safe. I think that Cole is pretty much done. The man has more holes in him than a slice of Swiss cheese, and the constant worrying for every single person he loves and holds dear. He’s just ready for some semblance of a normal life with Jae, growing old and fucking like bunnies until they can’t see straight. Being an uncle, brother, best friend and son (to Claudia of course, not that SOB father of his).

But there is one more bad guy to take down before Cole can rest easy.

I highly recommend this series… well, this Author and Narrator in fact. I believe Rhys Ford had some water bottles at GRL one year that read “Murder – Mystery – Mayhem” those three words aptly describe this series, with a metric ton of passion and just a little bit of angst. You can read, listen or do both as I did.

Review: Lewis and his sister Rachel had been dealt a couple of horrible hands in the past. The loss of their parents, Rachel having been severely hurt from the accident, the betrayal of someone he thought loved him, the amount of debt, the sale of his home and restaurant were just at the tip. Now the new owners were going to come and change everything.

Devon is a millionaire in his own and comes off as a complete ass at first. He knows everything about family traditions and about business. However it is not to be mixed at all, that is until he meets Lewis and Rachel. He is learning so much from these two, including love. To top it off someone is burning businesses around them and the fear that they are next is getting to them.

From one point it seems that Devon’s change of heart comes to fast. It was like one minute he was an ass, the next he was close to being in love. Although I suppose in some relationships it does happen like this. But in this instance it just seemed a bit off to me. Like it was rushed in a way. Also the mystery part of the story didn’t rock like it should have. It wasn’t really too hard to figure out who was behind it. To me it just seemed a little weak and thrown in there for the effect. Other than that I actually had a bit of fun with the story. The pace wasn’t to slow but it wasn’t really fast at all, so it was a good read for me.

Over all I wished that it had been more expanded with the mystery part. I wanted something to sink my teeth into but it didn’t come off that way. But like I said above Devon’s attitude change just came off to fast, and there really didn’t seem to be the spark between them that should have been there.

I am looking forward to seeing what the next story will give me.

Review: The first thing I am going to say is that based on the story itself I would have given it a five, however I cannot stand females in my stories so at first there was a mention of him and the friend which was ok. However half way through and it came up again, I am afraid that I just skimmed to the end of the story for the ending. I didn’t even want to give it a chance after that.

Mark had been writing all about the disappearance of Helena Carter. Now he was being forced to decide to either lose his job or change his attitude about it. So he has decided to start searching for the woman himself.

This story was not what I had expected at all. I did love the humor I sensed in it and enjoyed the numerous characters that Mark came across throughout his searching. I have to say that I did not have a clue what happened to the woman, so it was a surprise for me. It was an enjoyable story other than the female added in. It is unlike any other gay mystery that I have come across but then again it was quite refreshing in itself.

The problem was it fell short but not really very noticeable. I have come to find that I do love a good mystery every once in a while and Michael’s stories have a way of just creeping up on you. I loved the fact that while on the search he meets a man who has him falling in love.

The pace for this story was perfectly paced to me. It was well-defined, fully developed and the details were perfect. Although I have to say Mark was a pain in the ass in certain parts of the story. And what is the deal with calling the woman who was under sixty, old. He needed to be smacked upside the head for that one.

Overall I enjoyed the book and can’t wait to see what the next book will be like. I just hope there are no girly parts added on.

Review: This is a nice and quick read and very enjoyable. This is the second book in TJ Land’s series, Faeries. If you haven’t read the first book, Midsummer Nights, you need to go back to book 1 because that is the short story where everything is set up.

In Midsummer Sky we pick up with lovers, King Oberon and his most trusted advisor, Puck. Yes – just like in Shakespeare. The lovers face a new challenge when King Oberon’s parents visit and we find out two things – 1) how Oberon lost his wings and 2) that Oberon’s father has the ability to reduce the centuries old king to act/feel like a child.

I have to admit that I am getting more interested in Queen Tatiana, whose marriage with Oberon was an arrangement between their families. She seems to have some hidden depths that I would like to see – she definitely has the potential to become a powerful ally for Oberon and Puck. Heck, she could even be a lesbian. I don’t know, I just think that there is more there.

I’m really loathed to do so, but the only reason why I rated the book as low as I have was that despite the fact that I enjoyed the characters and the story, I just feel there is a lot of unexplored depth that could give these stories a little more substance, even if they are only short stories.

It seems like a ridiculous idea, but it may be Thierry’s only shot, so Thierry asks Corbin to arrange a meeting on the pleasure planet of Wish.

Thierry is grateful to the masked buyer he knows only as “Dragonfly”, and Dragonfly is gentle, making Thierry’s first time a good memory. Review:  This is my first Caitlin Ricci book and I absolutely loved it, the story was wonderful and just sucked me right in. To the Highest Bidder is a fun and totally sexy sci-fi book but is all sweetness and naiveté from the POV of the narrator, Thierry. I got so strongly invested into this book that I didn’t want it to end.

Thierry tells the story. He and his older brother are orphans. Corbin, who is probably around 10 years older, raised Thierry when their parents died. To make enough money to survive Corbin became an intergalactic courtesan and he loves his work (think like companions in the Firefly universe). But because there isn’t enough money Thierry can’t pay for his tuition to become a space pilot at the prestigious Star Pilot Academy.

That is when Corbin comes up with the solution for Thierry to auction off his virginity and that is where this wild ride really takes off.

Thierry is a starry-eyed type of kid (he’s 20) who realizes that he falls in love with the man that brought his virginity. That’s where we get a bit of angst but each of Thierry’s encounters with the mysterious Dragonfly is hot and sexy. Though to be honest Dragonfly’s real identity is really not much of a surprise and it wasn’t set up to be a surprise to the reader/listener.

My 2 criticisms and the reasons why I couldn’t give this a 5/5 rating are: 1) the ending is rushed. I felt like the last chapter and epilogue could have been handled a bit better although they were fantastically set up. 2) Being that we are dealing with aliens I really had a hard time believing the whole age gap thing.

I suppose because in my head different species of aliens that are invented by authors can have as long a life span as the author wanted and so I felt when the age gap was only mentioned one it was out of place.

I have no idea if I will be able to wait long enough to listen to the audio for the next book in the series, which is about Thierry’s brother, but if Jean Samson narrates I will definitely want to listen to it, even if I manage to read it first. Jean Samson’s narration was just brilliant. I love the tone that he used for Thierry, along with his brother, Corbin and Corbin’s boss, Monroe.

If you’re all for some sci-fi alien loving you’re going to love To the Highest Bidder!

Blurb: Renoir Delacroix is a forensic photographer working for the Dallas County Police. He’s well off the beaten track when he snaps a photo of something big and monstrous out in the woods. When it grabs him, he thinks he’s a dead man until it changes into the most brutally handsome man he’s ever seen, even with the burn scars.

Calvin tries to explain himself while Renny is tied to a bed. Something about being mated and never wanting to hurt him? Not that Renny cares since his body is so hot and flustered that Renny is willing to overlook the strangeness of having amazing sex with a man he’s just met—a man who can shift into a wolf.

What’s not so amazing is the hunters who are after both of them, and when Calvin rushes off to rescue a friend, leaving Renny alone and vulnerable, he might not make it back before someone comes to take Renny’s life.

Review: The third book in the New Luna werewolves picks up where the second leaves off. Calvin finds his mate crime scene photographer Renoir in danger after he talks to hunters. In an attempt to keep him safe after he witnesses him changing he kidnaps him.

I personally thought he should have explained the situation better at first so Renoir would not have been terrified out of his mind. Calvin seemed to struggle internally at times with his new status as Alpha since the barn incident.

I was glad when he finally came to grips with it and did his best to protect his mate at all costs. Another fantastic addition to the series that has you on the edge of your seat awaiting the outcome.

Highly recommended.

Review: The Baking Bear series can be read as a standalone story. They are about sweet bears who love their desserts and they want a mate just for them. Although I suppose they don’t really call them mates, nor do they bite their loved ones. It is a very different type of paranormal romance to me. They are just full of tender-hearted care and try to help those that need helping.

Out of the whole series this book was probably, most definitely my favorite of them all. There was just so much more to this then the others and I enjoyed the way it just exploded off the pages for me. There was a bit more humor in this one that made it fly for me. The characters were well-rounded and so sweet that I felt like I knew them. I even loved Cody and felt for him when his parents kicked him out when he was gay.

Matthew was a sexy, tender-hearted bear shifter who loved to cook. He had great ideas, and it would seem that bears do love their sweets quite a bit. When he saw that the bookstore had sold once more, he wondered if it would survive. He decided to take the owner some sweets and to make a new friend. Wasn’t he surprised that the sexy bookstore owner was just perfect for him. It seemed Jake wanted to help everyone that needed help. They become friends then friendship turns to love, and these two are perfect together.

I loved the slow burn romance that this story seemed have. It was just perfect with this type of story. It actually had more action than the previous ones even though there wasn’t really any sex in this one though either. I enjoyed reading it and I do hope that there is another book coming. I loved the secondary characters and do hope that there will be a story for October.

I loved it and would recommend it.

Review: I’ve read several mpreg shifter books before, and I have to say the author takes this idea and gives it one of the most original twists I’ve ever seen.

Fletcher is the powerful Alpha, and Caden is the male Omega expected to provide him an heir-a common theme in mpreg stories, but the who, what, when, why, and how beyond this makes this tale one well worth the read.

The Wrong Way by Taylor Law,Excerpt and Review

The Wrong Way by Taylor Law

George Washington National Forest

THE BANG OF A GUNSHOT rang out, a loud interruption ricocheting through the soft musical

echoes of the forest. The flapping of wings followed, vibrating the air overhead with the caws of

a multitude of retreating birds before finally silence reigned. The hunter lowered the weapon and

let out the breath he’d held while taking the shot. He took in another lungful of frosty air through

his nose, closing his eyes as satisfaction filled him. Finally, some action.

He grinned and gave the adrenaline its head for a moment, reveling in the sensation as it

heated his blood, and then he moved. Flipping the rifle over his back, he scrambled down from

the God-forsaken tree stand and squirmed out of the safety harness. He’d been in the damn thing

for hours and was stiff as hell.

He really preferred guided hunts, but a few friends had thought good, old-fashioned buck

hunting in the Virginia woods would be something different for him and had snatched him up for

the weekend. All day Saturday, and all of Sunday, sitting fourteen feet up in a tree and for what?

His muscles had drawn up tight. His fingers and toes had gone numb, and he had not one antler

to show for his trouble.

Now he remembered why he’d stopped doing this.

As quietly as possible, he adjusted his weapon of choice. The rifle was his pride and joy,

way more firepower than he needed to shoot a buck in this region, but it was his go-to weapon,

and he’d figured that at least nothing would get away. If he hit the bugger, it would be a kill

shot—just as it should be. Nothing satisfied him as much as knowing that when he pulled the

trigger, the prey would be dead before they even hit the ground.

As the hunter waded through the dew-covered underbrush, the smell of dirt and plants filled

his nose. He breathed deep of the scent, the nip of the chilled air awaking his senses like nothing

else could. He pulled down his night-vision goggles from the top of his head and leveled them

over his eyes. Darkness had swallowed the woods, and with the new moon, it was going to be

black as pitch out soon.

He’d been just about ready to call the weekend a bust when he’d heard movement about fifty

yards from his station. While searching the direction with the scope, he’d seen something that

had confounded him. It looked like a dog but was almost the size of a small pony. It had to be a

wolf. He’d heard of coyotes in Virginia, but there hadn’t been reports of wolves for a hundred

years or more. Didn’t matter. He wasn’t leaving without a kill if he could help it, so he’d shot the

beast. Now, time had come to claim his prize.

Pulling his rifle level to his shoulder, he inched toward the rustling noise he heard, the

random branch smacking his limbs as he walked. When he stepped through the brush and into a

clearing, he saw the animal lying on its side, wiggling as it tried to stand. He’d hit it all right, in

the shoulder mere millimeters from the clean kill shot it should have been. He closed his eyes,

shook his head, and heaved a hard sigh as disappointment enveloped him. He was better than

that. The animal panted, its chest rising and falling quickly as it forced out short, shallow bursts

of air. The hunter removed the night-vision goggles, took aim, and moved closer until he was

looking down the weapon at the animal’s head, directing his next shot for the skull.

Only before he could pull the trigger, the wolf started to change.

Right before his eyes, the muzzle shrank, and fur started to rescind along the body— getting

shorter and thinner until it was completely gone. The hair rose on the back of his neck, and he

flinched as snapping and popping sounds emanated from the creature. The limbs elongated,

getting thicker, the shoulders wider.

He took a step backwards. His heart gave a kick and sped up as he tried to understand what

had happened. The rifle became heavy in his hands, so he lowered it while gawking at the thing

in front of him. “The. Fuck?”

Within a few moments, a naked man lay at his feet, and the wolf had vanished.

He swiftly raised his weapon again, taking aim. He didn’t know what the hell was

happening, but he damn sure wasn’t going to let that… whatever it was, attack him. The thing

moved to its side and clutched its bleeding shoulder. It didn’t seem as if it was going anywhere,

but he refused to take any chances. The gunshot wound still seeped blood through the thing’s

fingers, but it now looked much smaller than it should.

“Please…”The man’s wide amber eyes met his, filled with moisture and fear. “Please, don’t

hurt me.”

“What the hell are you?” the hunter whispered. No way was that thing in front of him

human.

“I’m a man.” It groaned and coughed a wet sound.

Right.

“No way. Tell me what you are!” He prepared to fire. Was this an alien invasion? Or were

all the tales about werewolves true? And if werewolves truly existed, what other creatures could

be out there right now? Without his consent, the hunter’s eyes quickly scanned the woods before

darting back to the sight before him.

“Please…”

“Are you a werewolf?” He lifted his booted foot and roughly shoved the underbelly of the

creature, turning it over onto its back. Damn, it really did look human. He would never have

known there was anything different about this fellow had he not watched the change himself.

“Are. You. A werewolf?”

“No.” The creature gasped. “Shifter. I… mmm… shifter.”

Holy crap! He’d heard of that before. Basically, the same thing as a werewolf, at least in his

mind. The thing wasn’t human, after all. In fact, it would be a service to humanity if he got rid of

  1. His heart kicked again but this time from excitement. A flush of warmth suffused his body,

chasing away the cold.

Out of all the animals he’d killed all over the world, he’d never shot himself a shifter. Shit,

he’d never even known such a thing really existed until now.

And just in time.

His life had become stagnant, boring. The satisfaction from the hunt and a clean kill didn’t

carry the power it once had. Not since his father had died. There was nothing new out there for

him. Nothing, except this.

Hunting was in his blood. His life consisted of his work—where he intended to change the

world— and his greatest pleasure, hunting. He was lucky enough to own his own pharmaceutical

company and lab so he had the ability to travel the globe, searching for the cure and his next big

kill. Alaska, Africa, India, South America, all over the U.S., you name it and he’d been there.

First, deer hunting, but that got old quickly. He’d moved up to moose… and on and on. He’d just

come back from his fifth African safari with a nice set of elephant tusks. Paid a pretty penny for

that shindig, too.

What was a little payoff money when it came to excitement? They were only animals

anyway.

When his friends talked him into this weekend, he’d wanted to say no. They’d guilted him

into it, though. Then those same friends had gone home earlier today, leaving him alone. They

were a bunch of weak pretenders who couldn’t stand the cold, and couldn’t stay still for ten

minutes without playing with cell phones. It was disgusting, really.

Everything had turned out better than he could have hoped for, though. He was the one

getting the special kill because of their folly.

This made his year. Heck, this was the happiest moment he could remember. No one he

knew had bagged a shifter before. He was the first—the greatest big game hunter in the world.

His father would have been so proud.

“Please…” The creature tried to sit up but fell back again.

“Don’t worry.” The hunter smirked. “I’ll make this quick.”

Review: For those of you that follow my reviews, you will know that Romantic Suspense is my favorite genre. And it doesn’t matter if it’s Contemporary, Paranormal or Sci-fi, I need to believe in the characters and be able to follow the plot. It doesn’t matter how hot the sex scenes are, if the characters are one-dimensional or the plot convoluted.

That being said…I LOVED THIS BOOK!!

Taylor Law has created a world that made me laugh, bite my lip and most importantly, BELIEVE.

The way the two main characters meet is priceless. Thomas is in the middle of a murder investigation, has issues with the Elders’ Council and if that is not enough, he must officiate a mating ceremony.

Enter a cute little red-headed human.  His mate. He sooooo does not have time for this.

The romance between Camdon and Thomas is a nice slow burn. This is a huge plus for me.  I hate characters that hop into bed willy nilly…Mate pull or not, I expect grown-ups to think before they leap. And yeah, I loved watching Thomas fight the mate-pull, while trying to fulfill his Alpha duties. This made for an intense sexual tension that neared to explode off the page.

I also love the Camdon is not a weak little human.  His skills as a tracker help advance the investigation on several levels

The suspense unfolds in a realistic fashion that kept me reading well into the night. Several chapters are written from the killer’s POV.  This is one of my favorite aspects of The Wrong Way.  I love a bad guy who is more than just a bad guy. Loved learning his rationalizations for his sick behavior.

Now for my complaints. I wish that the secondary thread surrounding a secondary character had a more satisfying ending.  While I appreciate Taylor leaving the door open for a future title in this series, I would like Thomas to have some sense of closure.

There is also the matter of Camdon’s backstory.  Still a little sketchy on that one.

And the ending is by no means a traditional cliffhanger, but its damn close. The possibilities for the next Shenandoah Pack title are endless. Taylor introduced several secondary characters that could move easily into the main plot. My vote is for Justice…maybe. 😉

Review: I have never really been a fan of horse shifters so I wasn’t ready to read this one. There is just something about them that doesn’t seem right to me. Illustrious Ruckus is a champion horse who is retiring from racing. Illustrious Ruckus is also James Kirby, shape shifting horse. Archie is a journalist that wants to write a story on both horse and rider. He is also very attracted to James. However he has a secret of his own.

Now it is a cute little story, but it has a lot of missing points in it. It gives a little friction but no true outlet to it. I am afraid that I am still not a fan of horse shifters. However this one does have potential of being a pretty cool story. I just wished that it had been more to it then what it has going on.
