In a shadowy game where defeat can mean death, a deal with the enemy can change things forever.

In 1842, Captain Gabriel O’Riordan of the 8th King’s Royal Irish Hussars is sent on a

mission to Bukhara. His task—to try to free two of his compatriots from the clutches of a mentally unstable Emir. On his way, he encounters Valentin Yakolev, an officer in the Russian Army, who is also on a mission—to persuade the Emir that an alliance with Russia would be in his best interest. Gabriel, disguised as a holy man, is not happy to be the object of Yakolev’s intense scrutiny. After all, he’s working for the opposing team in the Great Game being played between their two nations. When Gabriel realises that his mission is little more than a forlorn hope, a game he has no chance of winning, he’s desperate enough to turn to Valentin for help and offers him anything in return. What he doesn’t expect is to have his plans to return to Calcutta scuppered by events.

Instead, he and Valentin flee north, fighting off bandits, their desire for each other and the hardship of desert travel. Their travails bring them closer together until a secret from Valentin’s past tears them apart.

Can they set the past behind them and move on together?

Review: This author is new to me so I was not sure what to expect. I am always a bit leery of trying out new authors. However this author makes this story fun and enjoyable. Although how a gay man turns a straight man is a bit beyond me, or the fact that Patrick thinks that way.

Danny had two roommates; both were supposed to be straight. Danny however is gay as can be. His other roommate blames Danny for turning the man gay. Danny plans to stay away from them both to save his friendship with Patrick. Then Javi moves in and things are about to heat up. I am thinking Patrick is mad but not for the reasons he said.

This was a short and very hot little story. I think it should have had more character strength and development, but because it is so short, it comes off rushed. I enjoyed reading it and would hope that maybe this author will add some more stories to this story later on.

I had a bit of fun with it and would recommend it. It makes for a perfect story when on taking a break.

Review: Lewis and his sister Rachel had been dealt a couple of horrible hands in the past. The loss of their parents, Rachel having been severely hurt from the accident, the betrayal of someone he thought loved him, the amount of debt, the sale of his home and restaurant were just at the tip. Now the new owners were going to come and change everything.

Devon is a millionaire in his own and comes off as a complete ass at first. He knows everything about family traditions and about business. However it is not to be mixed at all, that is until he meets Lewis and Rachel. He is learning so much from these two, including love. To top it off someone is burning businesses around them and the fear that they are next is getting to them.

From one point it seems that Devon’s change of heart comes to fast. It was like one minute he was an ass, the next he was close to being in love. Although I suppose in some relationships it does happen like this. But in this instance it just seemed a bit off to me. Like it was rushed in a way. Also the mystery part of the story didn’t rock like it should have. It wasn’t really too hard to figure out who was behind it. To me it just seemed a little weak and thrown in there for the effect. Other than that I actually had a bit of fun with the story. The pace wasn’t to slow but it wasn’t really fast at all, so it was a good read for me.

Over all I wished that it had been more expanded with the mystery part. I wanted something to sink my teeth into but it didn’t come off that way. But like I said above Devon’s attitude change just came off to fast, and there really didn’t seem to be the spark between them that should have been there.

I am looking forward to seeing what the next story will give me.

Review: The first thing I am going to say is that based on the story itself I would have given it a five, however I cannot stand females in my stories so at first there was a mention of him and the friend which was ok. However half way through and it came up again, I am afraid that I just skimmed to the end of the story for the ending. I didn’t even want to give it a chance after that.

Mark had been writing all about the disappearance of Helena Carter. Now he was being forced to decide to either lose his job or change his attitude about it. So he has decided to start searching for the woman himself.

This story was not what I had expected at all. I did love the humor I sensed in it and enjoyed the numerous characters that Mark came across throughout his searching. I have to say that I did not have a clue what happened to the woman, so it was a surprise for me. It was an enjoyable story other than the female added in. It is unlike any other gay mystery that I have come across but then again it was quite refreshing in itself.

The problem was it fell short but not really very noticeable. I have come to find that I do love a good mystery every once in a while and Michael’s stories have a way of just creeping up on you. I loved the fact that while on the search he meets a man who has him falling in love.

The pace for this story was perfectly paced to me. It was well-defined, fully developed and the details were perfect. Although I have to say Mark was a pain in the ass in certain parts of the story. And what is the deal with calling the woman who was under sixty, old. He needed to be smacked upside the head for that one.

Overall I enjoyed the book and can’t wait to see what the next book will be like. I just hope there are no girly parts added on.

Review: Each book in Wolves’ Heat collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a paranormal romance involving two gorgeous men. This is the second book by Odessa that I have read and I am still not really sure if I actually like it or not. The title was what caught my attention and made me want to take a look. I love anything paranormal. The blurb made me a bit hesitant in reading it because it comes off a bit dark to me.

Wolf and Salvadore are my favorite so far. They seem more in tune with each other and are very hot together. Wolf is a watcher whereas Salvadore is human. These two just seem to click better than the others. Salvadore might be human but he has something about him that is a bit different from many humans. He can tell when someone lies to him, which rocks.

This story moved forward a bit more than the others but there is still something missing in it. The blurb actually gives some away but I would definitely say you can’t read this without reading the first books. Now, I am still not certain if I actually like this series or not, but it was a bit more interesting than the others. I am afraid though that my attention wavered quite a bit with this book and didn’t keep it like it should have.

The story line for these stories are a lot more intriguing and unique that I was surprised that the follow through was not perfect. I do want to see what the next book has in it, but I am not rushing into it. For the first time, I am just not sure about these books. They come off a bit rushed and the narratives of the characters are not developing like they should.

I will wait and see about the next book.

Review: If you’re like me and you love a good, hot helping of sexy shape shifters getting together then this is for you. This also appeals to those that like the whole “odd couple” aspect or “friends to lovers angle” or “gay for you. And let’s not forget another romantic favourite – romance among a sport team, in this case baseball. The basis for this book, I’m sure, has something that appeals to everyone.

So suffice to say that I simply loved this book. I loved the story – there was plenty of sexiness, energy and humour throughout the book. I loved the characters – though let’s take a moment to pause and ponder a wolf called Wiley and a lion called Ram, it might just be my warped humour but that was funny to begin with.

The blurb pretty much says it all. Ram and Wiley are BFF’s on the same baseball team in a shifter baseball league and enjoy nothing more than to ogle one of their fellow players. When Wiley needs to head home to his pack for some sort of Founders Day weekend party where everyone just seems to be a rush of hormones, he wants Ram to come along as his pretend boyfriend.

All sorts of shenanigans ensue, namely from Wiley’s whacky 800 year old grandmother, who definitely gives the pack a bit of life. Eventually, though, they can’t pretend for too much longer.

The chemistry between the guys was great. So was the camaraderie, the fact that they were friends really helped me to be able to suspend my disbelief for a while. There were a number of interesting things also crop up. I really enjoyed the parts of the story that covered pack life for Wiley’s pack. There was the perpetually horny grandmother who was a bit of fun.

Additionally, I found it interesting that Ram was often teased for being a lazy lion – unlike other shifter stories Ram definitely resembled his wild animal counterpart. My only criticism is that although the baseball team did featured particularly in the beginning and end of the book, it was more like a list of names and would have liked to have known more about the team and league they played in.

I’m a bit of a sucker for friends to lovers type stories – actually I’m a sucker for everything I listed in the first paragraph of this review, so it’s not difficult to assume that I loved this. However, this isn’t the type of book that you should take seriously and read into it, just read it and enjoy it for what is presented.

But I loved it and I think this would appeal to many others.

It’s 1926 and as one of the founding members of the Hampton Road Club, Master Saul Liebowitz has enjoyed the charms of many willing submissives over the years. One of the newer submissives to the club has captured his attention more than anyone has in a long time. Kenneth is tall, muscular and also seems to have a greater love of pain than most. If only Kenneth didn’t already belong to another Master.

After Kenneth’s Master died years before, he allowed himself to be taken in by the promises of Master Preston. As time has gone by, Preston has become increasingly crueler to the point where Kenneth fears for his life. They’ve recently joined a sadomasochism club and Kenneth can’t help but yearn for the handsome Master the other boys speak so highly of—Master Saul.

Preston takes things too far one night, and when Saul and his good friend, Master Aaron, do some investigating, they realize that Kenneth might be in real danger. Amidst turmoil at the club over whether there should be rules to keep the boys safe and Preston’s play for power, Saul searches for a way to save Kenneth from what he’s sure is a deadly situation.

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of violence and dubious consent.

Publisher’s Note: This book is best read in sequence as part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

Review: This is book two and best read in order.

Ever since his best friend Aaron has found his perfect submissive and love, Saul is feeling lonely. He thinks because of his age he will never find what he desires most. He admires the new submissive, Kenneth and the way he handles pain.  He wishes the man was his, but he is taken by a new member, Preston that he doesn’t like.

Preston is violent and doesn’t allow his subs to call for mercy. He is mean and doesn’t treat them as people. One of the subs flees from him and one of the other submissives notices. After an investigation, Saul discovered that Kenneth is being threatened and held against his will.  He and some of the other Dominates try to come up with a way to free him, but it will cost Saul some secrets he didn’t want to reveal and possibly the Hampton Road Club.

I loved this book. I loved all the characters and liked that we got more of Aaron, Sam, Francesco, Theodore, and Thomas. The plot is better in this book than the first, and the sex is pretty hot. I have the third ready to read! I can’t wait to see whose story is next!

The only thing I wish was more of would be the 1920’s theme. To me, it kind of got lost in this book but having said that…The book was still awesome!

Warning for the squeamish:  There are rape and dubious consent scenes, but Morticia handled with finesse.

If you like BDSM, D’s relationships, Dubious consent, good romance, Older men/younger men, and some scorching hot man-sex you will love this series!

Review: Heath is book 3 of the Invitation Only series, I think you could read it without reading the others since there is good backstory drop, but I believe you would enjoy it better if you have read the other two.

Heath is a new Dom at Invitation only. He is immediately taken by the pretty bartender Micah. When Micah is brought in for his demonstration he is ecstatic, until he finds out that Micah isn’t into the BDSM scene.  When Heath finds out that Micah’s boyfriend is a druggie he sees his chance.

I really liked this story. My only issue is I felt it focused more on Micah than Heath.  I would have loved to have seen more scenes with Heath. Now having said that, I loved the drag show scenes and felt like I was there watching and loved Ricky, Mav and Mams.  There were a lot of characters in this story.

Though I love characters and all of these I think it was just too many for such a short story. I have to say Patricia Logan has a way of developing very intriguing characters, and writes some smoking hot sex scenes.

If you like sexy bartenders, hot cowboy Doms, BDSM, Drag Queens, knights in shining armour, and smoking hot man-sex this is definitely for you!

Review:  This is an interesting and relatively quick read. Tinnean is a new author to me and based on this novella alone, I am sold on the author’s writing style. It was just fun and really easy to read. Call Me Church is an interesting story – it is, essentially, King Kong meets Jurassic Park with a bit of Gulliver’s Travels thrown in. Although the mere mention of Hooterville in depression-era New York City also had me thinking of Doctor Who.

It’s not so much as a romance but as an adventure with a couple of guys who somehow manage to create a relationship by the end it of it. Church Chetwood is a larger than life explorer who made movies to entertain the masses stuck in near poverty.  But one fatal and horrible accident destroyed his career and has him on the run from just about anyone. He found Jurassic Park (well, actually Iwi Po’o somewhere in the South Pacific) who he caught and brought back a living Sabre Tooth Tiger for all the public to see.

After many people were killed by the wild beast there were warrants for his arrest and multiple people looking to sue him. Then there is Johnny, he’s barely in his twenties and has been living on the streets since the age of sixteen after the great collapse of Wall Street. John is a survivalist for the most part.

Church and John have instant chemistry, although there is a lot factors working against them. John just wants to live for the day, though, even if he knows that anything with Church could break his heart. The guys are super fun and the pace is rapid, even if the plot and characters are not fully developed by the end of the story.

As I said, this is like King Kong, Jurassic Park and Gulliver’s Travels, so if you like these then you’ll probably enjoy Call Me Church.

Review:  I enjoyed the hell out of this book.  The blurb was intriguing to me.  I love the whole enemies to lovers trope.  I also love stories that are short, sweet, and to the point.  Boy meets boy.  Boy likes boy.  Boy and boy get hot and heavy.  Boy has issues with boy.  Boy and Boy make up.  So, “Between the Frescoes” made me a very happy woman.

The summary is pretty simple.  Two men meet in an airport and discover they’re heading to the same conference in Italy.  Mark has been holed up doing nothing but pursuing his advanced education.  He’s written a paper about his research he’s quite proud of.

One of the reasons he’s closed himself off from the world is his depression, anxiety, and sadness over a humiliating review of his work several years back.  He bears a hatred of this man, but he’s decided it’s time to get out in the world. Doug is heading to Italy to present a paper about HIS work as well.  He feels an instant connection with Mark, just as Mark felt connected with him.

They get to know each other a bit on the long flight, and by the time they get to Italy, Mark has offered to let Doug stay in the apartment he’s rented because Doug will be too late to get to his hotel.

The story really takes off from there.  Mark and Doug are SO hot together.  Their first makeout session was fantastic, and it only get better from there.  Yes, there was the inevitable conflict, but the resolution came about quickly enough I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the angst.  The background characters were well written and contributed to the book, rather than detract from it.

The bad guys were sufficiently bad, and the good guys (or girls) were awesome.  Other than Mark and Doug, the best character was Italy itself.  It’s obvious Kay Berrisford has been there herself, or at least done a LOT of research.  Her descriptions of the locations were vibrant and detailed.  I could close my eyes, and I could “see” in my mind what was happening.

All in all, this is an excellent read.  As I mentioned, it was short and sweet.  I read it in a little over and hour, and I was very satisfied with it.

I highly recommend you pick this one up.

Review: This is the third book in the Dreamlands series.

This book is fraught with war, mistrust and two people who are torn apart as they struggle for the balance that is lost when invading forces threaten to destroy their world. It broke my heart that Kenyo and Aboshi went through what they did as I so enjoyed them as a couple in the other books.

There are many characters that reappear in this story from the other books as well as new ones. I haven’t read many stories where there is a wide range of characters that interact throughout a book. But it definitely works in this series.

I loved all the interactions, details and descriptions throughout. I felt sorry for those caught in the crosshairs and was hoping no one was seriously injured the further I read. I was rooting for Kenyo and Aboshi to find their way to each other again as the story unfolded.

An epic fantasy that draws you in and keeps you reading until the very end. I would recommend reading the first book and continuing from their as each book continues where the last left off in a way.

Great read.

Review: Ashley was about to get the shock of his life. He was a wolf shifter and mated to an alpha wolf. He had no clue about the wolf part but man Vaughan was hot. Now if he could just get used to it all. Vaughn had no clue why Ashley didn’t know he was a wolf but it doesn’t change anything, he wants his mate.

This was a fun book to read, but the ending wasn’t exactly perfect if you get my meaning. It seems that a lot was left out which explains why the book was so short. However it doesn’t take away from the story.

I loved it and can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: This was the first story that I had read by this author and had been fascinated when I first read it, now I am the proud owner of all her stories and continue to look for more. So when I found out that this series was going to be put on audio I knew I wanted them. There are some of the normal problems with this story but for me it didn’t take away from my experience at all.

I can tell you that I have listened to this probably at least a dozen or so times. I must say that Darcy is a great narrator but the first time I heard the voice I was not sure. However once I got over the first thought my second thought was I absolutely loved the way Darcy brought the characters to life for me. Made me feel like I was in the room right there with them.

A few years ago Cade started Rescue for Hire and he picked the perfect men for the job. He is the alpha dominate of the group and you can tell just by looking at him that he is one tough man. His heart however is bigger and you can feel it when he sees Bret in the water. You can feel each time he looks at his sweet little man and you can tell the connection is strong with these two.

I absolutely love Bret. He is a quirky little man who is going to keep Bear on his toes that is for sure. He has this mischievous side to him that gets him into trouble, but damn it is worth it. He had been kept prisoner by a crazy man and his boyfriend, it was only till a flood happened that he had no way out.

Being rescued by a sexy bear of a man is a big plus for Bret. He is going to need the big bear because someone is out to get Bret. It will take the whole team to rescue Bret out of this one and you can definitely hear Cade’s tone in this story. He will do everything to get his man back.

I absolutely loved reading this and hearing it was ten times better. I go home and wish that I had it on throughout the night. It also makes me want to start on book two. I loved the way Bellann gives me a story that shows the alpha’s true heart. They love with passion and heat, yet they will put those down who hurt their men. This has been one of my favorite stories from all time.

I loved it and look forward to starting the next story. My attention was captured from the start and kept till the very end. It also gave me everything I could possibly want in a story. Danger, excitement, suspense, passion, fire and hot sex are just a start to what you will get in this story. Although I do wish it was longer than just over two hours. It leaves me wanting more.

I would definitely recommend listening to this audiobook.

Review: Each book in the Ariel Estates collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I love the way Jessica put together this book that not only fascinated me but kept my attention the whole time. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by this author. My attention was caught with the first sentence and I just couldn’t put the book down.

Mikah’s father planned to assassinate their Alpha but failed. When his mother tried to, he shoved her away but ended up killing her. He felt guilty and couldn’t seem to come back from it. So Silas suggested a trip to Alaska with them. It would change his life in more ways than one.

Gideon was the eldest son of his pack, but he had no desires to be Alpha. Thankfully, he had a twin that could do it. He wanted to travel and experience the world. Things didn’t go as plan, especially after meeting Mikah.

Mikah was not only stuck in the past, but feared coming out. He knew that if he was to get his man, he would have to push him just a bit. Too bad his ex kept popping up at the wrong time. They had hunters killing pack mates, and there was a traitor amongst them.

So they had to deal with more than one idiot at a time. Then something tragic happened, and Gideon is left to take the Alpha position. Mikah had to make a choice.

I love the way all the feelings they felt were involved in this story.

It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: When Alex rushes his dog Stormie to the Vet after she’s injured during a hike, he doesn’t expect the outcome he gets. Alex doesn’t really date, and he’s not into messing around, but if the right guy came along he would gladly settle down. When he meets shy, awkward and adorable Shane Greely, the attraction is mutual and immediate. I mean from the first touch, immediate.

But there are several things standing in the way of their happy ever after. Shane is young, inexperienced and only has one foot out of the closet. Alex is patient and nurturing though, and soon enough the two are steadily moving forward. Then a phone call from home has Shane running back to Wyoming, indefinitely.

I just love this Author and just about everything she writes. Her stories usually have a happy ending, but it’s the journey to that trail that is the fun part. While this is a novella and the story is rushed, there was still a lot of content and a bit of character development, especially for Shane. I can’t say much, as I said it’s a short story and I don’t want to spoil anything for you.

It was a fast, fun, sexy story for sure though, and I definitely recommend it.

Romano and Albright, Book 2

Feisty New Yorker Caesar Romano has a knack for getting into a jam, and this week is no exception. When his pregnancy-hormone-buzzed business partner sweet talks him into working a solo gig for his famous ex, Caesar attracts the worst kind of attention.

It’s only the beginning. Hit on by a lusty German, stalked by the paparazzi, victim of an unexpected airbag attack—and desperate for some part-time help—Ce’s running out of time, staff and patience. But what’s really got him poised to run? A looming brunch with his sexy lover’s esteemed family.

PI Dan Albright is a man of many gifts: investigation, security, sex talk and driving Caesar nuts in and out of the bedroom. Hired to protect an outrageous soap star from a deranged personal assistant, Dan’s got his hands full refereeing rival actors, locating one four-foot-eleven woman…and convincing Ce that he’s playing for keeps.

Hey, nobody ever said taking a relationship to the next level was a waltz in the park.

Review: Trust Me If You Dare is the second book in LB Gregg’s Romano and Albright series. You really do need to read the first one to get a feel for things, particularly since this where our titular couple, Caesar Romano and Dan Albright, actually meet and get together.

The guys are back in another adventure and Caesar is just as accident prone and just as prone to melodrama and histrionics as he was in Catch Me if You Can.

The great thing about this book is that it is natural flow off from book one, it certainly helps that the story picks up immediately after book one has ended (you can tell this by keeping track of Caesar’s cousin, Joey, and Caesar’s BFF, Poppy. In fact we meet up with most of the minor characters we met in the first book with a few additions, like Gunter, who is a soap star and is hiding in Shep’s (Ce’s ex) apartment.

There is a lot more charm and chemistry between Dan and Caesar too, which, for me, made for a much more enjoyable book as we go through danger and other sorts of hijinks with the couple. I’m also relieved to add that Dan actually felt like a major character, too, which I hadn’t felt in the first book. I think throwing some jealousy into plot certainly helped bring the relationship to a higher level.
Just as funny and just as crazy as the first.

This is a sitcom style cop/thriller/mystery, enjoyable from start to finish.

Blurb: The fear of getting caught is half the fun.

Lowly art gallery assistant Caesar Romano is freely out of the closet. Now he’d just like to get out of his Nana’s guest room. Everything—his reputation and his financial freedom—is riding on the success of tonight’s gallery opening. If only he could shake free of the past so easily.

A mysterious gatecrasher, Dan Green, looks like a promising addition to his pending new life—until Caesar’s ex shows up and suddenly the opening disintegrates into a half-naked dance melee. When the glitter settles, a missing sculpture of Justin Timberlake has Caesar up to his eyebrows in extortion, intrigue and a wild sexual adventure underneath, inside, and on top of a variety of furnishings.

As the cast of suspects pile up, so do the questions. Like who’s really blackmailing whom? And what does a stolen paint-by-numbers clown matter when Dan is so outrageously capable of blowing Caesar’s resistance to smithereens?

This book contains graphic language, sex, lies, intrigue, clowns, kleptomania, anal sex, oral sex, mutual masturbation, bad driving, good cooking, and the missing head of a Justin Timberlake statue. Not for the sour of disposition.

Review: Catch Me If You Can is the first book in LB Gregg’s Romano and Albright series.

While I enjoyed it immensely – this hilarious comedy of errors and the most accident prone person who has the weirdest stuff happen to – there were a few things in the story which bugged me.

All the comedy really comes from Caesar, also known as Ce, and the story is being told from his POV. With all the good intentions he is really trying to make his work at an art gallery work – but things just tend to happen to him.

OK, fair enough, he should have called the cops the in the beginning rather than worry about his boss blowing a gasket for doing just that. However, Caesar is completely adorable (both cute and hot, if that makes sense) and when he meets Dan Albright, ex-detective and now a PI, things heat up in a big, bad way between the guys.

So this is one thing that leaves me confused, I was fully invested into Caesar and his never-ending histrionics. But – and this is big – I just didn’t and couldn’t become fully invested into Dan as a main character. Despite being Caesar’s love interest (there could have been more chemistry between them), Dan felt like he was a slightly more important minor character.

The annoying part is that Dan is a fantastic character, it was just that he was used to interpret Caesar’s melodrama to make the story more coherent (though it is easy to follow regardless of melodrama).

Another thing to add, only because I was reading this book soon after listening to a Cracked podcast which discussed this very thing, I became very aware to reaction the other character had with one of the transgender minor characters.

As I heard on the podcast, it felt like the reaction the group of cops had in Ace Venture: Pet Detective had when Ace revealed one of the villains as trans. Speaking about it with a friend, she was deeply offended, but I won’t go into the lengthy explanation she gave me.

Beyond those flaws, in my view, this is funny and zany and convoluted in a pretty pleasing way. It is easy to get lost in the histrionics and melodrama, which for a while allowed me to over look anything that annoyed me in the plot. It’s a fun ride and I’m interested to see what happens next.

Review: Sweet short story about competitive swimmer Tomas Lundquist and massage therapist, Darren Wright. These two seemed to be well matched and brought out the others stronger qualities as well as helping where the other struggled. There are some hot scenes between these two characters as the story progresses.

I loved both characters.

Review: Cupid’s Time is the first book in a series, a series that I have thoroughly enjoyed (I’ve read up to book 4). I really like Jess Buffett’s writing style. There is something about her writing style which helps me connect with her characters and just fall in love with the stories.

The premise for The Keepers series is interesting. “The Keepers” are the beings that help guide humanity. Other than Cupid and Thyme [Father Time], from the top of my head, there is also The Sandman, Jack Frost and Santa among these beings.

Like many paranormal romances, The Keepers have soul mates but the catch is that only another Keeper can be their soul mate. But the Keeper needs to be “of age” to sense his mate, and when one is immortal, I guess when you’re 5000, like Cupid, you really aren’t of age yet.

Cupid is the youngest of the Keepers. He can’t sense who his mates is quite yet. He’s great at his job and enjoys it, he’s just sick of everyone else getting a HEA and him being left behind and without love. Cupid is all sweetness but he has a strong will and won’t even let Thyme, the one Keeper he lusts after, to play games with him.

Thyme on the other hand is all cockiness and bluster. Beneath that facade is thoughtful and loving, though is undoubtedly an alpha male. The only criticism I have for this book is that Thyme’s excuse for avoiding Cupid and the whole “underage” thing is a tad week. I think when a being is as old as they are the whole May-December story line is more difficult to believe.

So many of the characters, who do come up in later books, draw you in instantly – there is Nate and Harry especially, I love them, and as for Jack, well, he is an interesting sort.

However, in the end, this is just a cute piece and a quick read for anyone into the paranormal genre can enjoy.
