Blurb: Jessie rejected his mate years before, and he’s regretted it ever since. He knows Ezra is probably better off without him, though, and he hasn’t tried to reach out to him. Instead, he’s been dating women who won’t remind him of the man he lost through his own fault.

Ezra has been staying away from Gillham and Jessie, just like Jessie asked him to do twelve years before. He’s become an enforcer, and Whitedell has been his home for the past decade.

That changes when their old alpha escapes from the council jail, wanting revenge on the two men who put him there—Jessie and his twin brother, Max. Ezra can’t stay away when his mate is in danger, so he goes back to Gillham.

When Jessie finds out Ezra is there, he realizes he’s been given a second chance to be with his mate. He needs to make things right with him, though, and it won’t be an easy task, not when Alpha Reddings is out to kill him.

Will Jessie manage to get Ezra to forgive him? And will Ezra be able to keep his mate safe?

Review: Each book in the Council Enforcers collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is connected to the Whitedell Pride and Gillham Pack series.

I hate to admit this, but for a short while there I had lost my enthusiasm for reading. The books were coming out the same and was just a bit boring to me. Then Catherine put Jessie out, and bam it didn’t last long at all. I could take a nice long breath and got my love back for my guys. Although these two really did need a smack in the head. Men sure are a bit slow on the uptake sometimes.

Jessie and Ezra were mates, but Jessie was a jerk and rejected it a while back. He was bound and determined to find a female with. To bad he was into men, can’t keep something like that hidden from yourself for to long. He regretted what he did ever since then and he was not happy. However he was also not going to let Ezra know. He felt like a fool to say the least.

Ezra missed his mate something fierce. They were not only mates but friends at one point. Then the alpha they put away was planning on going after Jessie and his brother. Ezra might be a council enforcer but he was not going to let anything happen to his family. Now all they need to do is to learn how to talk to one another. Jessie has been given a second chance.

Exciting, enticing, adventure, danger, hot sex and damn could you ask for more. I had a lot of fun reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. It was a big hit with me.

That is one of the best things about this author, the characters are so different from one another. You not only get your wolves and felines, but so many other types as well. I came across Catherine’s books when she wrote her first book for Whitedell Pride series. I fell in love with the characters right from the start. And now we get the children’s love story twelve years in the future. They have grown up and boy can you see it. Asher knew his best friend Terry was his mate when they were still kids. Fear of loosing him, he never said a word. Then when he lost his mother, and Terry started dating girls, well he just kept his mouth shut. Secrets never stay secret for to long though.

Terry has broken up with his girl friend and needs to go home to unwind. When he was a kid, he hated the life they were living. His mother was gone, and his human father was a shifters mate. Not only a shifter but a man at that. Boy did he give them hell. Time changes things slowly though. His best friend was a wolf shifter and he loved him. So Terry was keeping secrets as well. These two just need to figure it out, and boy do they ever.

A little bit of danger added in and this story just rocked perfectly. I loved the excitement, danger, lust and story line. It is going to make a great start to a new series and I can not wait to get my hands on the next story. I do love when an author gives us a look into the future with the kids. Gives a new start to life better I would say. I had a lot of fun with this and would definitely recommend it.

That is one of the best things about this author, the characters are so different from one another. You not only get your wolves and felines, but so many other types as well. Take Kanan, he is a very cute red panda. Just look at those cheeks of his and that adorable nose. He had been rescued from a lab but is still quite afraid of everyone. Well that is until he finds his mate. A mate that is planning to marry a woman. Talk about a shock to the system.

Titus was one the leader of his people, but that changed when he sent in his friend to kill the alpha. Now he need to protect his people and start his tribe over. That included marrying a female and getting her pregnant, talk about gross. That changes when he meets his mate and gets a lecture from his friends. He just needs to get over the past and look towards the future. And his future was with a little shifter who had been captured, tortured, experimented and caged by scientist.

Now rumor has it that this is the last book for this series but the author has come up with another branch off in a way. So I hate to see this series end but look forward to the future characters later on. It is a very exciting story and these two were a big hit. Both of them anti-social but for good reasons. You mix them together and what do you get, one hell of a good story. I had a lot of fun with it. I would definitely recommend this series.

Review: Each book in the Free Shifters collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in s
sequential order.

I came across this author probably around two years ago and have followed her work since then. Her stories always intrigue me so much that I usually read them more than a dozen times each. In fact with each book that comes out I will go back and read the previous stories before reading the new one. The characters are a surprise and definitely crack me up. Now with this one, it goes in a different direction sort of.

Many years ago, shifters thought that the human’s would accept them into their world. They found out just how wrong they were. Either you were slaughtered or thrown into a cage for life. Many shifters were born in captivity, such as Keating and Emmett. However there were some that managed to escape the life and were called free shifters. Free shifters who tried to rescue all that they could.

Keating is a rare white tiger shifter who was born in captivity. Him and his best friend Emmett, have never really seen the outside world. Now they were rescued and he wanted to experience it all. That included falling in love, to bad his choice was a man who loved another.

Rodrick had been in love with Sully from the beginning, but never knew the feeling was accepted. So he had taken to Keating and fell in love once more. Too bad Sully isn’t to happy. That is until their worlds are about to get interesting, Rodrick wants them to be a threesome couple.

Then the horrible happens and Sully is shot. Well you’re just going to have to read the story if you want more details. Trust me you will want to read it, might just make your day.

Now with this story I had thought that the first book was a bit stiff and figured it was just a new beginning to a series. However this one didn’t seem to smooth out as much as it should have. It was still a good read, but just felt off to me for some reason. Doesn’t mean I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book though. Just going to have to wait and see how they go.

Caleb and his friends have been in Gillham for months, but the memories of what happened to him in the lab still torture him. He took the habit of sleeping in the forest in his chinchilla form to avoid waking his friends with his nightmares. One night, he finds a man under his tree, and that man is his mate.

Freddy knows most of the pack doesn’t like him. He used to be a drug dealer, and while he did it so his brother stayed out of that life, he knows it’s not a good enough excuse. He’s not angry at the way the pack treats him, and when he meets his mate, he expects Caleb to behave the same way.

He doesn’t. Caleb’s friends aren’t enthusiastic of Freddy being his mate, though, and when one of them makes it clear that he expects Freddy to do everything to keep Caleb safe from his father—even if that means dying—Freddy decides he’s right and decides to confront his dad.

Review: Each book in the Council Enforcers collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in s
sequential order.

There is nothing better then a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. They are entertaining and have just the right mix of feelings in them. There is also quite a bit of danger or excitement in it as well. This one caught my attention and kept it all the way to the very end. I love the mixture of characters that this story and the other ones have in it. Will always keep you entertained.

Caleb is a very cute little chinchilla shifter who has been hurt. Him and his friends were together in a lab, and then escaped. They had not known those who were doing the rescuing were the good guys, so they ran. That is until the same rescuers saved their butt’s when they were stealing food from a fae group. He always put a smile on his face and joked around, but it was hiding his true feelings. Feelings that forced their way out in his nightmares. That was why he chose to seep in a tree. A tree that his mate sat under.

Freddy did everything he could to keep his brother not only safe but out of the criminal lifestyle. He just hadn’t expected his little brother to be saving his ass and bringing him back to the Gillham pack. He was an ex drug dealer who was trying to stay on the right path, but his past was coming for him.

I love the way this author puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. They have a serious tone to them, but there is a bit of humor floating around. I do get a kick out of the whole thing. I can’t wait to read the next book.

No one will listen, so it is up to Emmett to save the day.

This sounded like a fascinating story but it doesn’t seem to flow as smoothly as the rest of Catherine’s books do. It just seemed a bit off to me, but was still a very fascinating book. I loved the worlds this author creates and the characters rock. It caught my attention and kept it to the end of the story.

Review: Each book in the Demons Hearts collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Humans did not get involved in demon’s affairs not even for murder, especially if it involved another demon. So when Jordan was told to go investigate, well you can imagine his surprise. He was not a fan of demons, didn’t mean he wouldn’t help them but he preferred to stay away. The only times he ever went there was to see his best friend. A best friend that was mated to a demon warrior. But what he finds will shock the crap out of him.

Caelan has been blacking out and loosing time. With the murders going on he was beginning to feel like he had something to do with them. It was more so after waking up covered in blood and laying besides the head of a demon. Must have been one hell of a night. He decides to run, but ends up sitting besides the body that went with the head.

Jordan has the hots for a sexy purple haired demon with a tale. Now he just needs to figure out what is wrong. Jordan needs to figure out how to keep the demon he is falling in love with alive. This is one of the best books I have read by this author in quite a while. I have always been a big fan of Catherine’s work and it has definitely been a good ride.

The characters are quite unique, well the demon guys are. At first when I saw the cover I wasn’t too sure if it was a guy or not, but damn he is a cutie. The story was entertaining as hell and gave me everything I could want in a story. You get danger, excitement, adventure, some hot sexy times and quirky upper level demon exorcists. My attention was caught from the moment I started reading and I just couldn’t put it down.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Council Assassin’s collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is a branch off of Whitedell Pride, Gillham Pack and Council Enforcers so I would start with those first.

Armand’s story was a bit harder to figure out in certain parts but he had been held captive and experimented on. The problem was that he had been human and now could change into any human he needed to. He comes off a bit cold and heartless but it is the exact opposite. He is afraid to get his hopes up and get hurt. Now here was a shifter who was claiming that he was his mate, and boy was he in for a treat.

Beck wanted his mate but was afraid that it wasn’t ever going to happen. Then one day he got a cold chill and knew that Armand was in trouble. He had not expected the kids but damn. The trouble leads to Beck getting hurt and Armand well you will see how he reacts.

It was a little harder to get into but then I realized I had not read the book before it, so was a little off on the history of Armand and Beck. Will definitely be fixing that and soon. Excitement, danger and some hot sexy time is just a little of what you get in this book. It is a very entertaining story that will catch the readers attention right off the bat.

I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading the next book.

Review: Each book in the Council Enforcers collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is branched off into many directions so there is a lot of fun out there.

Muirgeh is the leader of his tribe and he hated it. He never wanted it and was stuck doing it for close to twenty years and now he was ready to leave for good. His tribe had at one time been pretty good but now they were like spoiled children, except children were easily taken care of. This tribe was just plain crazy, first women pushing their daughters at him to men wanting them to chose them. However it would seem someone was just pushing to hard, a bit dangerous in his mind, he needed help. He just hadn’t expected the help to be his mate.

Xander is a human enforcer and absolutely loved it. He had an amazing father and some pretty cool friends, but no one to call his own. He was afraid to hurt someone with his size, and when he finds a cute, sexy and very small nix was his mate, well you can guess. To top it off his mother who he hasn’t seen in quite sometimes wants something, well by the time ends he is going to need a shrink.

I would have suggested blowing up the tribe instead of trying to hand it over to his second. A second that didn’t want it any more then he had wanted it. The whole group is just about as nutty as you get and it was time to figure out what the hell to do. This story caught my attention from the moment I started reading it and kept it all the way to the end. It was a more serious toned story then you normally get from this amazing author, but it was still a pretty good read. Action, adventure, hot sexy time, violence and danger are just a bit of what you get with this story.

I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: It is finally coming to an end of the stupid laws against shifters. It is now at the supreme court and although many are still afraid to come out, they are going forward. The man behind getting the law changed was wanting to build a town for shifters and humans, but he needed help getting there.

Robbie’s best friend was dating and living with the shifters but he only sees im everyonce in awhile. There was a certain bear shifter that made him confused but hot. It also didn’t help that when he was going to see him, that goofy bear scared the shit out of him.

Scott was an alpha bear who was falling in love with Robbie. When the question of volunteers was brought up he suggested them both. They were to build the homes and live there, but first he had to get Robbie into it.

I love the mixture of shifters in this series. Bear shifters are quite unique and fun to read about. Although Scott is an alpha he doesn’t really act like it. He is very charming and fun, where as Robbie comes off as a stick in the mud. My problem with this particular book was there was no feeling of chemistry between these two. They just didn’t come off like they should have. Plus the way it flowed was a bit off as well.

Other than those issues it is still a nice book. I can’t wait to see what the next book will be like.

Review: This is part of the eXtasy Summer Shorts 2018.

It is vacation time for Keenan, Jonah and their four year old daughter. They are going to Gillham to visit old friends and it is about time. Keenan has been working for the childrens services for shifters and it sometimes hurts his heart with how many kids show up. While there a baby shifter has been found and he knows the perfect family for him. Now all he has to do is to get them to agree.

It is short and sweet with a bit of charm added in. I always love it when Keenan or Nysys is in the books although I had not expected this one. It was entertaining as usual and I can’t wait to see what stories this amazing author has out there.

For the record, this story rocked.

Blurb: The last thing Dorran expected when he moved out of his old apartment was to find a dead body in the new one. John Mitchell was a despicable man, from what Dorran learns, but no one deserves to have their head bashed in. Dorran supposed he should be grateful for what happened, if anything because one of the detectives on the case is his ex-boyfriend—the one he dumped ten years ago because he didn’t want to come out of the closet.

Things are never easy for Dorran, though, and he has to deal with nosy neighbors, his angry ex, and…a ghost? He really didn’t mean to stick his nose in the investigation, but it’s not his fault everyone seems to prefer talking to him instead of the cops, even when he really would rather not listen. And it’s also not his fault that the dead guy seems to have killed his uncle—and that the uncle still haunts the apartment. If only his ex could understand that. Dorran wants a second chance with Eli, but Eli seems to think Dorran is sticking his nose into things on purpose.

Will Dorran manage to convince Eli he didn’t mean to get involved? Will he find out who killed John Mitchell before that person decides to take out someone else? He knows he should, because with his luck, that next person is going to be him.

Review: I wonder how it feels to get smacked on the ass by a ghost. I bet that Dorran never once thought that when he moved into his new apartment. Although when he started to move in several problems showed up. One his apartment was still full of the dead guys stuff and then he found a dead body in the storage area, so ghost were no big deal. The big deal was the detective to show up, you guessed it, his ex-boyfriend.

Eli had been angry at first when he saw the man he had loved once, but got dumped by also. He knew from past experience that Dorran also would not stop trying to figure out what happened to the dead guy either. Sparks are about to show up.

The ghost was a great idea for this book. I got a kick out of Dorran and the ghost. Eli was a little harder to like but then again he comes off a bit gruff, with good reason though. Very quirky story that kept my attention to the very end. I got a kick out the whole book. It was exciting, fascinating, dangerous and some hot sexy time. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review: Each book in the Demons Hearts collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across this author a short time ago when she came out with her first story and was amazed by the worlds she creates. The characters are fully developed and they make me feel like I am right there with them. you can see their feelings, their compassion, their faith, their loyalty and their love for each other. The way Catherine puts her words together makes it feel like you are right there fighting with them and for them. It is a fast paced story that will fascinate you and keep you entertained.

When Lewis was younger his mother had been attacked by a demon and scared him. They escaped but it left him not trusting them at all. Lewis had basically grew up with aiden and Chase. When they were in their teens Lewis had kissed him, then ran. They just kept it at friendship but damn Chase wanted more. Now fifteen years later, he might just get his wish. That is after they find out who was stalking Lewis.

Aiden’s mother had been raped by a nasty demon, which gave her Aiden. His mother loved him even after how he was conceived. She loved them all, and when someone came to their friendship, she added them into the family. He fell in love with Lewis so many years ago, but he feared what would happen, if Lewis found out he was half demon. But he could wait first they needed to find out who wanted Lewis and who was also after Aiden.

This is one of those stories that will be read more than once. I enjoyed reading it and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend it.

Review: Each book in the Council Enforcers collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jordan clean’s school buildings while his brother leads a life of crime. It is not a world either truly wanted, but their father and grandfather were the ones who pushed them into it. Freddy had decided he would do it, so that Jordan was free and clear. That didn’t mean someone out there didn’t want to take out Freddy by way of Jordan. Jordan runs like his brother suggested, but damn if he is going to leave him behind. Just his luck he finds his mate, a mate that just so happens to be a council enforcer.

Angelo had met his mate so many years before only to be rejected for a woman. In the times past, their relationship would have never been allowed so it was easier for his mate to say no. He was now a council enforcer in Gillham, but damn he wanted what those around him had. To his surprise he gets his wish, when a pink flamingo just lands in his bushes.

I love the way this author puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. They have a serious tone to them, but there is a bit of humor floating around. I do get a kick out of the whole thing. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Review: Each book in the Demon Hearts collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across this author when her first book in the Whitedell Pride series came out and from that point on I knew that she would become a favorite. The worlds she creates are unique and keep my attention from the moment I start reading. The characters are sexy, fierce, tempting and will fight for what they believe is right. The stories are fascinating and give the reader everything they could ask for in a story. Heat, danger, excitement and a bit of adventure are just a few things you get in these stories.

Cumar’s father is one of the Prince’s of Hell and you can guess just how evil the man can be. Cumar never wanted anything to do with it, so at seventeen he took off for the human world. He worked for the League, a group that policed the demons and other paranormals. He actually liked his job and those around him. However with his older brothers death, it meant he was next in line. To bad he didn’t want the job.

Yo’ash used to be a bodyguard in hell for ten years and hated it. He hated the whole thing about hell. He pretty much likes the way life is and doesn’t want to change it. He likes to keep his life the way it is, and the only thing he wanted was someone permanent in his life. Cumar was the one he wanted but the man never settled down. But when demon’s are sent for Cumar, Yo’ash is the first one in line to protect him. Now if only he would get his head out of his ass and go for the man who has loved him for a very long time.

I think this is probably one of my favorite books in this series but then again I always think that with each book. I just got a kick out of Cumar. The man might be a fighter and a demon but damn he is just about as sexy as you get. I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

This is one of those books you will read more than once, I know I will.

Daniel lost his wife to an accident, or should I say his mate and it had pretty much destroyed him.  He was left alone to raise his cutie pie daughter and he wasn’t doing a very good job at it.  He also needed some help, which with the help of his daughter came one very sexy man.  A man with a secret that could hurt them.  Also this man seemed to think that he was his mate.

Archer was a scientist and loved what he did.  That is until what he did was end up killing shifters from the poison he made.  Running sounded good, but you can only run so far.  To top it off he has found his mate and his mate had a daughter.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.  I think what I love most about this series and the ones they are connected with is that even though they are tough shifters or nix, they do have a soft spot for those around them.  Also the fact that it isn’t just one or two kinds of shifters, you get a wild mixture which makes it more fascinating.  Then you add in nix’s and it is going to get wild.

A house cat shifter with a ducks name and nicknamed Rabbit.  Rabbit lived on the streets as a normal black cat that is until Ms. White picks him up as a stray.  Then she wants to neuter his ass and oh hell no, he is not going to let it happen.  Then shifters come to his rescue and lets just face it, Rabbit is an cat with an attitude.  Guess he is just like a normal cat.  Then in comes his mate, or should I say two mates with a twist.  It seems like Rabbit and Samuel are mated to Elton, but not to each other.  Now is that a tongue twister or not.

Over the years that I have been reading I soon come to the conclusion that I do have favorites.  Catherine Lievens is one of those authors that just seem to bring a smile to my face no matter what is going on.  Her stories always leave me wishing that I was in them.  There is a joy in them as well as many other feelings that just seem to brighten my day every time I read them.  I will admit that when she puts a new one out, I go and read the entire two series that are connected before I read the new book.  It connects me a bit easier with the story, knowing who everyone is and what they stand for.  Plus I just get a kick out of some of the guys.

Geoffrey was a human who basically hung around the pack.  His mate was a wolf, who is very shy and doesn’t really acknowledge him.  It has its ups and downs that is for sure, but it all changed when Geoffrey came across a windego dying.  She had save three little ones and brought them to the pack for safety.  The oldest Mingan was not even a year old but he chose Geoffrey.  Now all they need to do is to get William into the act.  To top it off Mingan’s father shows up and if you want to know more, pick up the book.

I always get a kick out of these guys and this didn’t change that at all.  I loved Geoffrey, and once I found out why William was the way he was, well let’s just say he is a sweetie.  I just wanted to hug him to death.  I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. There is something about the way that she tells you a story more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it.

This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break or when you just need the sun to shine for you. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.Â
