Review: Adam is charming, sometimes too cocky and likes to use innuendo. But he uses that to hide his insecurities.

AJ is sexy, confident, and has many friends. He devotes his time to work, study and many causes he supports plus his friends. This way he doesn’t have to face his hidden secrets that haunt him and keep him from having a relationship that he craves.

I loved this story. It is chock-full of intriguing characters. Maybe too full. I love a character driven story, but at first, I felt like maybe I picked up a book in a series. There were so many allusions to both Adam and AJ’s past that kind of made me wonder what I had missed.  AJ had so many friends with problems, and it was as if I missed that story as well. Closer to the end we get some of this backstory that fills in most of the blanks.

I love a character that at first is unlikeable and Adam was a bit overbearing in the beginning and soon let his barriers down. I loved his cocky, positive attitude. A lot is going on in the story, so it’s pretty fast paced.  I liked how the story dealt with many social issues such as abuse, date rape, bisexual, and transgender. There is plenty of hot man-sex as well.

If you like a pretty steamy romance, college men, bisexual and transgender characters, a fast paced, character driven story, and of course some hot man-sex, you will like this.

Living in the shadows works for him until one fateful night when a hot stranger walks across a smoky barroom, forcing Craig to make a move that could rock the foundation of his existence…and fill the void in his heart he doesn’t realize he has.

Melrose escaped the end of a bad relationship to start over in Parkerburg. With the support of his cousin and a job waiting tables at a great restaurant, he thinks his life is finally going pretty smoothly. Review: Fire of the Heart is book 3 in this series. You do not have to read this in order as the town is the connection that makes this a series. There is mention of the previous characters but not enough to throw off the flow of this story.

Craig is the Fire Chief with a secret. No one knows he is gay except his ex-girlfriend Shawna, the owner of Craft Time. As soon as he sees the cute new guy in town he knows he is in trouble.

Melrose is sweet, and he is keeping his past a secret, not wanting people to know he was abused…by a smaller man.  When Bas shows up and hits him in the face, he tells the police a white lie that escalates.

Fire of the Heart is a sweet little romance with healing and coming out. It is a fast and fun read if you’re looking for something to lighten your day and lift your spirits.  I am curious as to who the next story will be about since there are so many characters.

I did find the story a bit skippy in places, and it was a bit jarring when it went from Melrose to Craig, but I loved the storyline, characters, and plots.

If you like hunky firefighters, cute waiters, a sweet romance with some hot man-sex, this is for you:

Review: Where do I even begin? Bouncing back is the story of a resort called Cozzi Cove, run by Cal Cozzi. It I s also about the guests for this summer’s season as well.

In one Cabin we have Mario (remember him from infatuation?) and his twin Harold. We have a wealthy Gay couple whose son is coming for a visit as well. We have an OCD writer, a porn star, A man on his deathbed, a young waiter on vacation and a reclusive middle-aged gamer and a mermaid. (I will let you read and see if the Mermaid is real.) And we have some regulars as well. Cal’s sister Taylor, Carla, who runs the seafood restaurant in town and Tommy that owns the bar.

Quite a cast of characters. The story is like love boat on land.

I’m not going into detail about any coupling as that would be spoilers so I will let you grab a copy to see what all goes on. I will say each storyline is fabulous. Though this isn’t a mystery, I sat on the edge of my chair wondering who was going to fall for who and if it was all going to be happy endings.

If you like a lot of angst, some humor, love, sadness, (be sure to have a couple of boxes of tissue handy and some hot sensual man-sex I highly, highly recommend this book. I loved all of the Joe Cosentino’s books, but I think this is my favorite to date!

I am ready for book 2!

All Paul wants is to get back to normal, even if he’s not sure what that is anymore. El Rozal doesn’t do relationships, especially not with clueless straight boys still pining for their ex. El may make his living dealing in castoffs, but that doesn’t apply to men. Still, when Paul starts clearing out his old life, pawning kitchen equipment he never wanted in the first place, El is drawn to Paul in spite of himself.

Paul and El have nothing in common except a past full of disappointments. There’s no reason to believe the two of them could fit, but in El’s line of work, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. When it comes to love, El and Paul may learn that secondhand doesn’t mean second best.

Review: Paul moved to Tucker Springs for his girlfriends so she could sell her sculptures. When she found out he failed his vet school and got a job as a receptionist, she found someone else. Someone she felt could help her make it in the art world.  Down on his luck, Paul kept trying to win Stacy over. For her birthday, he went to the Tucker Springs Pawn to find a gift for her.

El was immediately taken by the cute, innocent young man. Straight man.

All Paul really wants is love and acceptance. To be able to make out in public, hold hands in public.

This was such a fun, romantic story. I loved how Paul was so clueless that El was taking thing just to see him, especially when he took the dog left on the vet’s steps for Paul. I loved the way El’s friend chided him about Paul and the fun banter between El, his friend, and his family.

If you are looking for fun, humorous romance, like bisexual men, Gay for you stories, cute dogs, gardening and an all over great romance, this is the book for you. It’s perfect for an afternoon of yard work or housework.

Plug in your earphones and let Iggy Toma tell you the story of El and Paul! I love Iggy Toma. He can tell a story so well.  His voice is nearly mesmerizing. He conveys all the characters so well.

Review: Wyatt is a construction owner that loves to cook. When his favorite band advertised a cooking contest, he entered only with the hopes of getting to meet his favorite band and the Drummer Tulley in particular. But with the grand prize being a live-in cook for the famous, sexy drummer that upped Wyatt’s efforts to win. Soon he realized he didn’t stand a chance against Pierre, the pick for the host. Except, Tulley found himself very attracted to Wyatt, and he loved his cooking.

I loved this story. It is fun, sweet and an excellent read from start to finish. I love those cooking shows, so that made it even more fun and exciting to me. The thing I liked most was, though it seemed predictable,  immediately I could see several paths the story could go. Then with each elimination or added move between Wyatt and Tulley, I would change my mind as to the outcome.

I wasn’t disappointed at all.

If you are looking for a fun, sexy romance, like cooking shows and sexy rock stars; you will love this.

Review: Templeton finds himself with his hands more than full this full moon with is a lover, the leader of the Eerie pack, a mysterious house guest with big secrets, his parents, planning a garden party, and murders popping up on the property.

If you have read any of the first books in this series, you know that Templeton is a skunk shifter and mated to the alpha of the Lake Eerie pack. If not you know now!   This is a very fun series to read, so it is good to start at An Eerie Halloween, but I feel you can follow along just fine without it. But they are short, and lots of fun so why not read them all!

I love all the characters in this book. I love how Rugby is always scaring Templeton by sneaking up on him. It made me laugh every time Templeton would jump! The mystery is like a little paranormal cozy…mysterious with lots of twists set in a paranormal setting with a touch of humor.

There is a lot of sex, but it’s well-written and not overly explicit. There are lots of twists, and the story is fast paced with lots of humor.

I highly recommend it!

Blurb: Danny Avers is a teacher in small town Colorado. The last person he expects to see back in town is Harlan Quinn, his old best friend and former consummate bad boy. And when he finds out Quinn is the new sheriff and his new neighbor, it’s even more of a shock.

Quinn knows there’s more to his old hometown than meets the eye. There’s more to Danny than old memories and quiet living too. But as in the past, stirring things up is Quinn’s specialty, and he sets out to do that, in more ways than one, pushing Danny to admit there’s more to life and that their old town just might manage to be new again. That’s if old town thinking doesn’t get them both killed.

Review: Danny and Quinn were lovers when they were teenagers, then Quinn left town. Danny was in an accident where several local teens died. He was the only survivor, and he had been drunk and high. After a long stint in the hospital and rehab, he went to college and became a teacher. Danny lives a solitary life; his only friends are a couple of teachers that speak to him at work.

Quinn returns as sheriff and rents a house on the outskirts of town, and it turns out that his first love, Danny is his neighbor. Danny and Quinn hit it off well, rebuilding what they lost.

Quinn has a secret of why he really is in town. One that could put him and Danny in Danger.

I love B.A. Tortuga’s style of writing. The short, clipped sentences usually add punch to the characters. However, in this story, I think there were some sentences that this style made the thoughts a bit confusing, and I had to read the paragraph a few times to catch on. Of course, that is just my opinion.

Both Danny and Quinn’s past were brought up a lot but not in detail. We knew they had one but not how they met or even why Quinn left suddenly.  I would have loved more of this back story and a bit more of the mystery that Quinn was working on than some of the sex scenes. Don’ get me wrong…the sex was scorching, but there was way too much in my opinion.

Now having said that…I did like the story. I liked both Quinn and Danny. There were scenes to die for. I adored the Thanksgiving scene.  It was only one of the scene that made the story so realistic and brought Quinn and Danny to life. I also felt so sorry for Danny a few times as well. Just the relationship between Danny and Quinn makes this boo worth reading. Oh, I almost forgot Rags. You have to love a dog in a story, and Rags is a fun addition!

If you are looking for a story with a sexy sheriff, a hot schoolteacher, a cuddly dog, a bit of mystery, second chances, some angst and lots and lots of scorching hot man-sex, this is for you!

Review: Jeremy is living on the streets since he aged out of the system but is still in school.  He is determined to finish school, get a scholarship, go to college and do something with his life. There is one thing holding him back—his ex-boyfriend. Trent is determined to recruit him for his boss. Some days the hunger and cold gets to him but not enough to give up his dreams or his body.

Noah knows what it’s like living on the streets, even being a prostitute. He was saved once and now he runs a bar that barely gets by and a struggling laundry mat attached to it. He has his eye on a young man who comes into the laundry mat on occasion, but not for sexual reasons. He knows he is too young, but he reminds him of someone from his past…the one man he longed to save and couldn’t…the one that is trying to recruit Jeremy into his stables. So Noah makes a deal with the devil to keep Jeremy safe, but who will keep Noah’s heart safe from Jeremy?

This was such a beautiful story. Once you start you don’t want to put it down. I fell in love with poor Jeremy as soon as I met him. His strength and willpower are formidable and he is an inspirational character. He is young, smart and knows what he wants.

I also think That Noah was inspirational as well. I admired his resolve in trying to resist Jeremey’s advances until he was sure what they both felt was more than lust, pity or gratitude.

There is plenty of action as well.

SO, if you like inspirational characters, a great story-line, action, some twists and turns and a very satisfying ending you will love this book!

Review: This is book four of the Roughstock series. You do not have to read them in order but you do understand some of the things they talk about better and who some of the other characters are if you do. I do suggest you read them in order though. They are really good so why not?

I loved Coke from the first book and was so happy to get his story. Coke is my kind of man. Tender and loving and he deserves a happy ever after. The stars of the Show–oops– I mean book were equally Coke and Dillon. I mean a sexy, rough bullfighter and an adorable and funny rodeo clown. How could it get better?

I loved the conversation and dialogue between Coke and Dillon. It is short and clipped and to me it really made the impact. I also like how there was short repetitive words or short sentences in internal dialect that also added some punch.

The chase was hot, the sex even hotter. I think it got a bit too hot. For me anyhow. Once they got together it seemed for quite a while the story became all about the sex.  I would have liked a little more of the drama near the end and a few pages less of the sex. (Just my opinion).

We also got another peek at Jason and Bax (I won’t say more here just in case you haven’t read the first. But for those that have. Don’t give up on them yet! Jase is still determined.

There were many other cowboys mentioned like the Taggard triplets (I really would l love to see Adam’s story) also Packard or Beau and Sam… yeah so many stories I would like!

If you like rough and tumble cowboys, bullfighters, rodeo clowns, sweet romance, and some hot and raunchy man-sex (hey they are cowboys! and there are tender moments as well!) You will love this one!

It’s 1926 and as one of the founding members of the Hampton Road Club, Master Saul Liebowitz has enjoyed the charms of many willing submissives over the years. One of the newer submissives to the club has captured his attention more than anyone has in a long time. Kenneth is tall, muscular and also seems to have a greater love of pain than most. If only Kenneth didn’t already belong to another Master.

After Kenneth’s Master died years before, he allowed himself to be taken in by the promises of Master Preston. As time has gone by, Preston has become increasingly crueler to the point where Kenneth fears for his life. They’ve recently joined a sadomasochism club and Kenneth can’t help but yearn for the handsome Master the other boys speak so highly of—Master Saul.

Preston takes things too far one night, and when Saul and his good friend, Master Aaron, do some investigating, they realize that Kenneth might be in real danger. Amidst turmoil at the club over whether there should be rules to keep the boys safe and Preston’s play for power, Saul searches for a way to save Kenneth from what he’s sure is a deadly situation.

Both men fight for what they believe to be the right thing. When they find their way to one another, a wonderful new world opens up to them. But there’s one man out there who refuses to let go of the old ways. Kenneth is his property and Master Preston won’t give him up.

Review: This is book two and best read in order.

Ever since his best friend Aaron has found his perfect submissive and love, Saul is feeling lonely. He thinks because of his age he will never find what he desires most. He admires the new submissive, Kenneth and the way he handles pain.  He wishes the man was his, but he is taken by a new member, Preston that he doesn’t like.

Preston is violent and doesn’t allow his subs to call for mercy. He is mean and doesn’t treat them as people. One of the subs flees from him and one of the other submissives notices. After an investigation, Saul discovered that Kenneth is being threatened and held against his will.  He and some of the other Dominates try to come up with a way to free him, but it will cost Saul some secrets he didn’t want to reveal and possibly the Hampton Road Club.

I loved this book. I loved all the characters and liked that we got more of Aaron, Sam, Francesco, Theodore, and Thomas. The plot is better in this book than the first, and the sex is pretty hot. I have the third ready to read! I can’t wait to see whose story is next!

The only thing I wish was more of would be the 1920’s theme. To me, it kind of got lost in this book but having said that…The book was still awesome!

Warning for the squeamish:  There are rape and dubious consent scenes, but Morticia handled with finesse.

If you like BDSM, D’s relationships, Dubious consent, good romance, Older men/younger men, and some scorching hot man-sex you will love this series!

After six months of getting over its time, she decides to get on with her life and goes out with her friend. She meets not one but two gorgeous men. Either could be the man of her dreams. Zander is tall, lean and with dark hair and dark eyes. Marco, more compact, muscular and blond. Both men want her bad enough to fight for her. She decides, why choose?

I will just say this story is full of sex. It is well-written but pretty explicit. The story is the competition between Zander and Marco to try to win Symone’s heart. They each do some very romantic things to get her attention. I did think it hot that they decided instead of one give up they both hung in there even when she led them into sex together with her, both men are straight.

If you like lots of sex and multiple partners, this is for you. I am looking forward to the next book to see how this relationship develops.

Blurb: Teacher Dane Bernard is a gentle giant, loved by all at Summitville High School. He has a beautiful wife, two kids, and an easy rapport with staff and students alike. But Dane has a secret, one he expects to keep hidden for the rest of his life—he’s gay.

But when he loses his wife, Dane finally confronts his attraction to men. And a new teacher, Seth Wolcott, immediately catches his eye. Seth himself is starting over, licking his wounds from a breakup. The last thing Seth wants is another relationship—but when he spies Dane on his first day at Summitville High, his attraction is immediate and electric.

As the two men enter into a dance of discovery and new love, they’re called upon to come to the aid of bullied gay student Truman Reid. Truman is out and proud, which not everyone at his small town high school approves of. As the two men work to help Truman ignore the bullies and love himself without reservation, they all learn life-changing lessons about coming out, coming to terms, acceptance, heartbreak, and falling in love.

Review:  On the first day of school in Summitville High, two people’s lives will take a drastic change. Dane meets a young freshman that is being bullied horribly. That same day his wife is killed. Dane has been hiding his sexuality his entire life. This chance meeting with Truman that comes to school wearing gay pride shirts and is very effeminate looking makes him realize he needs to be himself now.

In the winter Seth, a new teacher, shows up and immediately catches Dane’s eye. He knows that a relationship with a co-worker is not a good idea. Afterall, he is still mourning his wife and raising his kids.

Big Love a story of thee man and how their lives entwined and enriched each other’s.  I have to add that Truman, the young man who is being bullied so harshly is an inspirational character. His mother also is inspirational. All mothers should be like her.

I liked Dane, as well. There is a lot of character growth as well. I liked Seth, but felt we didn’t get a lot of his character. I felt that was something missing from Seth and Dane’s relationship. Perhaps that it came at the end and seemed a bit rushed. I would have like more.

I also couldn’t help but wonder why the teachers and principle didn’t step in more to stop this bullying.

Big Love is a clean story with lots of characters. Lots of character growth and some bullying.

If you like clean stories, teachers, out and proud young men, unique characters, coming out and an all-over good romance this is for you!

Review: This is book two in the Montana series. I do not feel you have to read them in order though both books are excellent so why not! Plus you meet the other characters that are in this book some as well.

Adam Strachan has been missing since he was 15. He and Justin Allens. Justin’s brother Ethan became a police detective to help keeps searching for Adam and Justin when all others had given up. This is a sore spot between Ethan and his father, Marcus. Marcus wanted Ethan to follow his footsteps and keep his share of Crooked Tree alive.

Ethan gets a call from Chicago that they have a John Doe that mentioned Ethan and Crooked Tree Ranch. When Ethan arrives, he knows it’s Adam.

Adam has no memory of Ethan or anything but is willing to go home with him to try to get his memory back, but he feels a connection to Ethan. Small bits come back as they take the long ride home.

This is a very angsty story. It is well written and beautiful. I fell in love with Ethan right away. It was evident the moment we met him that he had feelings for Adam.

I applaud RJ Scott that she walked us carefully through both Adam regaining his memory and Ethan exploring his feelings.  Yes, he was in love. Yes the love had just begun, and both were very young love, first love, but she didn’t make it immediate on either man’s part as adults. They had to learn each other all over. The long trip home in the car and hotels helps all that.

There are a few surprises and twists. The sex is sensual, yet hot.

I loved this story, both men and his series. All three are on my favorites list for this year. I can’t wait for the next book!’

If you like ranchers, policeman, angsty stories, romance, surprising twists and some sensual man-sex you will love this book!

Promises Part 2 by A.E. Via

Publisher: Via Star Wings Books (March 20, 2016)

Blurb: PARTS ONE AND TWO IN THIS SERIES CAN BOTH BE READ AS STANDALONES. THERE ARE NO CLIFFHANGERS IN EITHER BOOK.

Roman “Quick” Webb is one badass bounty hunter on the crime-filled streets of Atlanta. He’s fearless when it comes to carrying out his dangerous job alongside his longtime best friend and business partner, Duke.

However, there is one thing that has begun to cause Quick concern and it’s the dreadful thought of living out the rest of his life alone. Seeing his best friend and his son fall in love and sharing the special connection that only true soulmates can, has made him all the more aware of what’s lacking in his life.

Love.

Dr. Cayson Chauncey has been wildly attracted to the big, tattooed hunter for almost a year, ever since he performed the surgery that saved Quick’s best friend’s life. Cayson must’ve mistaken Quick’s gratitude for something more, because the one time he tried to make his desires known, he was harshly rebuffed and left on the man’s doorstep feeling stupid for hitting on an obviously very straight man.

Cayson never dated a man who was willing to come out of hiding and be with him. Now at almost forty, Cayson is intent on no longer being anyone’s dirty secret. Having experienced countless disappointments, and having taken a stand not to fall for any more tricks, Cayson is more than a little skeptical when Quick comes around asking for a second chance to prove himself. The gorgeous man had already made it clear he was definitely uninterested in Cayson… or so he’d thought.

Dr. Chauncey stirred up Quick’s suppressed, most carnal desires from a place deep down inside of him. He’d reacted so badly the first time that now his sexy surgeon wanted nothing to do with him. It was going to take a fair amount of patience and a whole lot of wooing involved as Quick sets out to convince Cayson that he’s worth another chance and that he is the brave lover who Cayson has been looking for.

With a scorned ex and a very dangerous job thrown into the mix, Cayson’s happiness and all of Quick’s promises may not be as easy to keep as they’d hoped.

Review: Isn’t the cover fabulous? I want Roman (Quick) for myself!

Darn these books get better and better! Sexy surgeons, hot bounty hunters, action, romance and hot man-sex what more could you ask for? I thought the first one was good but this one was even better.  I loved Quick. He is tough as nails on the outside and at work but this book shows vulnerability and makes him even more relatable.

You could feel his need for something more, the longing in him and in Chauncey as well. I loved how the Dr is not too feminine but a contrast to Quick. A.E really laid these two men out raw for us.

Then we had Dr. Joe.  He really made things scary. Amping up the action in the story.  There is a lot of suspense as well as the romance.  Then there is the sex. All I can say is wow!

If you like bounty hunters, doctors, action/ suspense, drama, romance and hot man-sex this is definitely a book for you.  I do suggest you read book one first but it’s not totally necessary but you will see how Quick and Chauncey met and the circumstance, plus more about his son and Duke that is mentioned a lot.

I, personally, feel you would enjoy this book better if you read the first.

Review: Heath is book 3 of the Invitation Only series, I think you could read it without reading the others since there is good backstory drop, but I believe you would enjoy it better if you have read the other two.

Heath is a new Dom at Invitation only. He is immediately taken by the pretty bartender Micah. When Micah is brought in for his demonstration he is ecstatic, until he finds out that Micah isn’t into the BDSM scene.  When Heath finds out that Micah’s boyfriend is a druggie he sees his chance.

I really liked this story. My only issue is I felt it focused more on Micah than Heath.  I would have loved to have seen more scenes with Heath. Now having said that, I loved the drag show scenes and felt like I was there watching and loved Ricky, Mav and Mams.  There were a lot of characters in this story.

Though I love characters and all of these I think it was just too many for such a short story. I have to say Patricia Logan has a way of developing very intriguing characters, and writes some smoking hot sex scenes.

If you like sexy bartenders, hot cowboy Doms, BDSM, Drag Queens, knights in shining armour, and smoking hot man-sex this is definitely for you!

Double Alchemy

(Double Alchemy Book 01)
by

Susan Mac Nicol

Powerful yet tormented modern warlock Quinn Fairmont must initiate the silver-eyed Cade Mairston into the world of witchfinders, Withinners, and what can happen when two men fall truly, madly, deeply in love.

THE WORLD IN SHADOW

In modern London there lurks a warlock, Quinn Fairmont. Dangerous, powerful, tortured, sharing his body with the soul of an ancient Welsh sorcerer, Quinn is never alone—and never wholly himself. He fights against all those who would exploit his kind. He takes pleasure where he can find it.

In the forest of Hampstead Heath, Quinn’s hometown, Cade Mairston appears to him like a waking dream. Lithe, lean and silver-eyed, he evokes feelings in Quinn unlike any other: lust with true affection, immediate and shocking. Cade is clearly more than he seems. And yet, if a man of the world, Cade is innocent. He knows nothing of warlocks, witchfinders or Withinners. He knows nothing of what he is, what he might be, or what he might feel. For him, the story is just beginning. Magyck, peril and passion await.

by

 Susan Mac Nicol

Powerful modern warlock Quinn Fairmont found ecstasy with the silver-eyed and not-quite-human Cade Mairston, but to know true happiness the pair must best both the shadow of a long-ago lover and an ancient enemy who seeks to destroy love, light and all they hold dear.

A BLINDING LIGHT

It begins with a Book of Shadows discovered by a London coven. The grimoire is as dangerous as it is rare, which is why it evokes modern-day warlock Quinn Fairmont’s desire. He collects objects of great power and beauty—like his lover, Cade Mairston.

Against all odds he and Cade found each other, but their perils have just begun. First is the ex-lover who once held Quinn in thrall. And, someone has been killing warlocks. Could it be one of his own kind? There are those too who would challenge Quinn’s power in their quest to overthrow him as Grand Master. Or is the danger something darker, something invoked inadvertently, rising from the shadows, building from the very inside of a man until it brings an end with a quick flash of light? Of the truth, the surface has only been scratched. Now Quinn and Cade must go deeper and find both answers and an end. They must learn what lurks in the hearts of men…and whether it seeks to love or destroy.

Review: This is the 5th and final book in the Guards of Folsom series.  There are many characters and lots of wrap-ups from the previous books.  This book begins with a proposal, a funeral and then gets going with the kidnapping of Jamie. The entire group gets together and uses their skills to find and bring Jamie home. Then there is recovery. If you are already a fan of this series, I am sure you have been waiting for it, and it won’t disappoint you. I haven’t read any of it and loved it. I will be going back and reading the rest of this series.

I felt like the book was a bit long and all of the inner thoughts by Tek kind of put me off a bit. They seemed a bit poetic for an ex-motorcycle gang leader.  Otherwise, I thought the book was really good.

So if you like BDSM, bondage, motorcycle gangs, and the tight brotherhood of men, lots of angst and lots of hot Man-sex this is for you. Don’t forget to start with book one!

Blurb: A feisty, untrained Dominant shows up at Hampton Road. Could he be the right man who Colin’s been saving himself for?
Submissive Colin loves his new life and job at The Hampton Road Club. He doesn’t mean to make the staff angry when he reorganizes everything or frustrate the available Masters by never letting them touch him. He only wants to serve someone, to make them happy, but he’s also waiting for the right man the way his grandmother had advised him to do before she died.

Another night, another brawl. Roddy had hoped that Hollywood would have better male prospects than Louisville when it came to playing rough. When Roddy’s latest would-be conquest threatens him with bodily harm, Roddy is chased right into the path of two of Hampton Road’s Masters, Ned and Aaron. They describe a wonderful club to him, where sadomasochistic men can enjoy each other, hidden safely behind the walls of an elegant mansion.

The moment Colin and Roddy spot each other, they fall hard and fast. While Master Saul is thrilled that Colin has finally found someone, what do any of them really know about their new guest?
It seems that Saul’s fears are ungrounded until tragedy strikes in Roddy’s world. It’s then that the validity of Colin and Roddy’s new love is truly tested.

Was their bond real, or did Roddy have another agenda he’d kept secret all along?

Review: If the cover isn’t hot enough to make you pick this up, and the blurb doesn’t entice you more than let me tell you…just do it! That is if you like mild BDSM and very sweet romance.

I fell in love sweet little Colin in the last book when he was brought in by Ned. Who wouldn’t love a darling little fella that wants to save himself until he meets the right man, yet yearns to taste the life he sees around him? Plus, as sweet as he is there is a touch of mischief and his OCD is too cute.

Now let’s toss in a young man who likes sex a bit rough and ends up getting roughed up every time he tries to fulfill his need. Being gay in the 20’s is bad enough…liking things a little rougher is…well, rougher.

We get a bit more Aaron and Ned and, of course, Saul. I loved seeing Saul’s fatherly instincts come to the forefront. This book is a bit milder than the rest BDSM and Sadomasochism wise as we have to men learning to love and to explore this side of themselves.
If you like a really sweet romance, the 1920’s setting, first times, true love, love at first sight and some pretty hot man-sex you will love this.

Note: This is book 5 in the series and is best read in order though this one you could possibly follow OK, I still recommend you read them in order to understand and know all the characters better.

Review: Two rich cowboys, and a female worth fighting for.! Can I give it a 10?

Two rich cowboys …one an Australian station owner and the business person, the other a Texan Rancher find themselves in a fight over a female. Not any ordinary girl. This one is their niece. A baby at that.

Holden has left the custody of Chloe after his brother, and his wife dies in an accident. Lachlan has been looking for his sister for nearly three years and gets the news she has been found…only she is dead and has a child. His family wants her.

Holden flies across the ocean with the sole purpose of retrieving his niece believing the family that has her are trashy travelling rodeo people. What he finds is a very wealthy, loving, family, and a sexy cowboy that will die before letting anyone take Chloe from him.

Oh man, I have no idea where to start. First off… grab a box of tissue before you begin the book. Second…make sure you have time to read it all; you won’t want to put it down.

I love B.. A. Tortuga and I think this is one of her best yet. I fell in love with both Holden and Lachlan and, of course, Chloe. We begin with sadness; then there are some brawls so there is lots of action the first twist is a nail biter so keep some clippers handy.

Then when you think it’s all settled down more angst, more drama, but the ending is satisfying. So there is lots of action, heartfelt angst, and some breathtaking sex.

If you love cowboys..both Texan and Australian, babies, drama, angst, suspense and some hot man-sex this is definitely or you.

I highly recommend this!
