His first task comes soon, as the alpha’s daughter, Sara, goes missing from college. Mishka accompanies several others to San Francisco, following a lead to her whereabouts. While his alpha is busy consulting with a detective who’s aware of shifters, Mishka hits the streets and starts searching. What he finds, however, isn’t what he expected—his mate. Mishka discovers a young, crippled human living in an abandoned warehouse. With a lot of coaxing—and the promise of a good meal and a hot shower—Mishka convinces Aramis to join him at the home the shifters have rented. When the detective shows up, an untrusting Aramis disappears. Learning that Aramis may be able to help discover Sara’s whereabouts only heightens his need to find the man once more. Review: Each book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Mishka lost the fight for a beta position but ended up in the enforcer’s instead. His alpha was known for fairness, loyalty and kindness. Until his daughter was kidnapped from school. Now they were on their way to San Francisco to find her and another shifter’s daughter. While searching for her, he came across a sweet young man who just happens to be his mate. A mate that is not only human but also injured shouldn’t be too hard to convince him to come back with them. That is as soon as he locates him after he takes off.

Aramis had been kicked out at fourteen when his parents found out he was gay. He has lived for some time on the street and knew how to get around. After not giving the gang what they wanted the men had left him with a screwed up knee and hand.. Then a man shows up and wants to take him away, sure not too hard to believe. Wait till he finds out Mishka is a wolf shifter.

I have always gotten a kick out of Charlie’s stories and that is not going to change. I can guarantee that it is one of those that will be read many times over. Excitement, action, danger and some hot sexy times are just a bit of what you get in these books. Now for the downside to this story: It felt rushed and the ending pretty much leaves you hanging. Then there is the fact that Aramis actually does trust him after he tells him he is a shifter. There was no shifting in the story plus you miss out on the actual action of getting the girls back. I felt robbed of most of the story.

I was a bit disappointed in this book and that was the biggest shock of all. However that doesn’t mean it isn’t one hell of a good book and kept me entertained. But, yes I felt like I was robbed of an awesome story that could have given me more.

Blurb: For over a century, Lachlan Addair worked for the Shifter Council as an enforcer. When the ruling body decided to open a new investigative branch, Lachlan was the first to volunteer. Infiltrating and exploring a shifter unit without detection is right up his curious cat’s alley. When Lachlan’s duty to report the causes of strife within a lynx pride has him slipping into Councilman Goldstein’s estate undetected—just for fun, of course—Lachlan stumbles across Thad—his mate.

Unfortunately, the wild turkey shifter is standoffish and brusque. He doesn’t trust Lachlan and makes no secret that he thinks the mate-pull is nothing but a trick of the pheromones—something he’s determined to ignore. Lachlan loves a good puzzle and is undeterred. He admires Thad’s loyalty and uses his extensive wiles to cultivate a little of that for himself. When Lachlan is injured wrapping up a case, will it be the catalyst his mate uses to reject Lachlan—his job could bring so much danger to his flock, after all—and send him on his way?

Review: Each story in the Shifter Regime collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This particular series is branched off from several other series featuring the same crossover characters in many of the books.

Curiosity they say kills the cat, but in Lachlan’s case he would have been dead many times over. He can’t seem to let a puzzle go. He is able to sneak in to places without getting caught, that is until his mate does one night. Thad is a turkey shifter who thinks that mates is just a mythical idea and doesn’t truly believe. However it doesn’t explain why his every thought is always on the blasted cat shifter.

Charlie is one of the few author’s whose stories always keeps me entertained. I usually loose interest in stories that are just continuous and never ending, but I seem to get a kick out of these books. The story always keeps my attention and gives me everything I could want in a story. Excitement, adventure, danger and some hot sexy times are just a bit of what you will get in one of these books. I love how she gives us unique shifters that you don’t normally get in other books. I also love how protective they are of each other and their families. The only thing I do not like about these books are how they feel like it is just a drop at the end. They end at the weirdest times and drives me crazy.

Other than that issue, I always get a kick out of these stories. They are a blast to read and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Just a sweet little story to rock your world. Vince wanted to plan the perfect Christmas gift for his mate. He just had not expected to get hurt before hand, but thanks to his friends and pack mates things might look up. He has the best wolf shifter mate and a darling little boy, and things are going perfect for the vampire. Frankie is going to love it.

Now this shows you how the perfect secret is wanted. I got a kick out of this story and was glad to see the tough vampire and cute shifter in it. I also loved to see the little boys reaction as well. Perfect story to warm up the winter cold. I had a lot of fun with it and would definitely read it again and again.

Ashton is an American kestrel shifter–a small raptor who’s an alpha in his own right. Ranger is a jackal shifter whose boss is basically evil. To keep his brother and his brother’s mate safe, he must kill and then set up the Wolves of Stone Ridge pack. To be precise, it is their alpha that is to be blamed for killing the council man. To bad he fails or should one say it is good news. It would seem he has found his mate.

Ashton is one of the bird shifters that the pack rescued from Russia. He is the alpha of his little group, but they still answer to Alpha Declan. He goes to give information and ends up finding his mate. A mate that is in trouble.

There is nothing better then a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives.

I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the other’s in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Charlie Richards puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a bit of humor in them that I love. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Grisham didn’t know his name, but the memory of his lean, sexy body, wide dark eyes, and distinctive black and red hair invaded his dreams. Waking with a hard on was quickly getting old. Grisham heads to World of Aquatica, hoping to discover the identity of the stranger. When Grisham meets Cuzco Judson, the attraction is even more intense than his dreams. After a hot night with the man, Grisham learns a few secrets that turn his life upside down. Cuzco is an octopus shifter and believes Grisham is his mate. Grisham is about to get his eyes opened wide. He was the arresting officer for Solomon, although it turned out he was the wrong man. He coud not forget the sexy man that was wit Solomon and he was determined to find out. He just hadn’t expected to find out that his sexy man was a shifter.

Cuzco is a very cute octopus shifter. I would definitely love to come across one of his kind. He has found his mate. And things might be looking up, well as soon as they figure out who the bad guy is.

As always Charlie has given us a story that rocks. I admit that she is the only author who has given me a story about aquatic shifters that I find fascinating. Usually they are not the kind of shifters I like to read about. You get excitement, suspense, danger and some hot sexy times in these books. As always my attention was caught from the beginning and kept all the way to the end. This story gave me everything I could possibly want in a story and so much more.

I would definitely recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

Solomon lost his family at the age of eighteen, joined the military for a few years and then went to work as a guard for a very rich asshat. He was definitely not happy there so when the asshat’s son wanted to run, he let him. It got him fired and almost killed, only to be saved by one hell of a sexy man. A sexy man that claimed to be a shape shifting hammerhead shark.

Anthony was just swimming along when he smelled blood. As a shark you can imagine what he was thinking, only to find out that the man was his mate. A mate that someone had tried to kill.

Once again Charlie has not disappointed me. This story caught my attention and kept it there all the way to the end. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read more than once. So much so that I am going to go back and read the whole series again. This book gave me everything from danger, excitement, suspense and some hot sexy times.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Review: Each book in A Paranormal’s Love collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is a branch off of Wolves of Stone Ridge, so I would start with that series first. There are several series that are connected to this series as well.

Rusty has been taking care of his family for some time now. His mother and older brother had been in an accident that left his brother in a wheelchair. He was a serval cat shifter and is cute as can be. He is also shy and well you can guess. He had not expected to meet his mate though.

Acheron is a very dominated scorpian shifter but you could not tell it if you saw him in his human form. He had been abducted and was sold off, but Kontra’s gang saved him and several others. Want to get the juicy details though, your going to have to read the book.

Danger, excitement, adventure, action and some hot sexy times are what you get with this story. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. Now I will admit that this one was not one of my favorites, came off a bit dry to me. Other than that it was pretty good.

I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Bodb is a very old gargoyle who has been searching for his mate for a very long time. Eleven hundred years he has been on this earth serving his people and as an Elder he has had to do many strange things. This was not one of those times, he was just going to take a small vacation and give Chieftain Maelgwn his news. He had not expected to find his mate but I think he is about to be in more shock then he thought.

Nicholas’s brother is mated to a gargoyle, but our Nick doesn’t have a clue. He is about to get introduced to the paranormal world real fast. He is a human who is a mate to a gargoyle, not what he was expecting. Wonder what he will say to his wife.

I am not really sure where to start with this review. I found myself a bit lost with this one. Our main guy is married to a woman, mated to our sexy gargoyle and living a lie to help his wife. I mean they did go through with the wedding. How the other woman could take it was just off to me. I am sorry but if you love someone you are not going to sit on the burner and take what is given. To me it was all a lie and that is a turn off for me in books. Also it made the females come off as cowards and money hungry, what with wanting her cake and eating it too. Thank god there was no sex between them, what with the females being together. All in the closet so to speak.

Then Nicholas comes off as a very easy going person who is a pushover. He is straight but doesn’t mind a little action from a twink at clubs. He gives in to sex real fast with Bodb and that just didn’t work for me either. You would think he would have been a bit more hell no at first, but nope. Hell he didn’t even bat an eyelash with the paranormal side of it. Bodb goes along with it all which is not what a gargoyle would do but in this book he just caves real fast.

The part about daddy dearest felt like it was just thrown in for a bit more word count.
Charlie has been one of my top five authors of all times, but I hate to say this book did not do it for me. This whole story just was off and didn’t work for me. I hate to say it but this book was definitely not one of my favorites. I just hope the next book comes off a bit easier with not odd ball sections.

Review: Each book in A Paranormal’s Love collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is branched off into many directions so there is a lot of fun out there.

Mitch is a manwhore basically. He is in love with all women, but not in love to stick around. He has known about paranormal’s for quite sometime and enjoys hanging with them. Most of his friends are gay and he is all good there. However he is not gay but is about to find out that he is mated to a gargoyle. A male gargoyle that just won’t take the answer no.

Kardamon is going to have a hard time getting through to Mitch, even with the help of his friends. He will do everything in his power to prove to him that he is his and it will all be good.

First off I am glad that there was a warning about girly parts in it but no actual sex going on, but I didn’t see the warning till it was too late. Also it seems to me that even though in the end they might get it right, it still seems forced to me. I did not care for Mitch nor his attitude at all. He just rubbed me the wrong way. And completely straight with no sign of being into guys is a sure fire way to make the story not smooth to me. I have always loved this author and her work, but this book just about made me throw in the towel, not the whole series, just this book.

This story came off rushed and rocky in more ways then one. I hate to admit that this particular book just didn’t do anything for me.

Wendell had just wanted to have some fun but he has the worst taste in one night stands. It nearly ends him up dead but he come out of it pretty beaten up. He swears not again, that is until his friend at work’s brother steps in and gives him a ride. Now get your minds out of the gutters, I am talking about a nice car ride, but maybe a bit later for the other kind of ride. Too bad that last one night stand keeps coming around.

Teague is a wolf shifter who has a love of old cars, and damn does he have a nice ride. When his brother Cecil tells him about his friend at work, he just wants to cheer him up and maybe find out who is trying to hurt the little guy. However he has found his mate and will do anything to protect his sweet mate.

I have always been a fan of this author and her stories just keep rocking my day. This one has a sweet tone to it, but some danger that will boil your blood. It moves at the perfect pace for me and is the absolute perfect length to keep my attention. My attention had been caught from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. You even get some hot and sexy times going on in this book. I was glad to see Jared and Carson are still the same after so long. There are a few laughs going on in here as always, which is a major plus for me.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. This is one series that will be read many times over.

Review: Each book in the Shifter Regime collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is actually a branch off of several other series, including Wolves of Stone Ridge, Kontra’s Menagerie and A Paranormal Love.

Cho and his fellow flyers were rescued from a lab by some pretty awesome shifters. They were different types of flyers but they were a family. He was the hacker out of the group and sometimes got in trouble. He just hadn’t expected to get kidnapped.

Vincentius was a council member and also a pretty damn good hacker himself. He had not expected to get hacked himself, and was even more shocked by the sexy little man who had hacked him. A sexy shifter who was his mate.

Cho has an innocence about him and always loves to run around naked. He is going to bring fun to this stuffy house and fun was what they needed. This story gives you action, adventure, danger and some hot sexy times. The characters are a blast to read about and just tend to make one smile. This story actually had me laughing in parts of it.

I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. It gave me everything I could ask for in a book and so much more. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

Review: This is part of the eXtasy Books 2018 Summer Shorts.

Sekani has always been one of my favorite guys in Charlie’s books. His beloved has to make a conference call so Sekani is going to fly around in his bat form. He really should have stayed home, less dangerous. Skunks sure do smell.

I always get a crack out of these stories. They are funny as hell and sometimes exciting. This one just gives you the right amount of tasty goodness. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

Review: Each book in the Beneath Aquatica’s Waves collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Braylon is a rich kid with lousy taste in friends. The one time he listens and it ends him up in big trouble. Although the punishment is not so bad, the guy who is supervising him is a walking wet dream. Lets see if he thinks that once he figures out what Tyrone is.

I have followed this author for quite some time, her series always are very fascinating and unique. So when this new series comes out, I knew I just had to grab it. You don’t see many aquatic animals in stories, so for me it just made it rock even more. I do wish they had a bit more to them though.

Charlie Richards has done it again, given me a story that just rocked my world. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review: This story is a branch off from the original Wolves of Stone Ridge series which has many branches off of it. I would start with the first book in that series and go from there. Be ready for a good time.

Stefan and his best friends decide to have a bit of fun on their vacation. Skiing was a favorite of theirs and they were pretty good at it. That is until someone knocks him off course and ends him up with a broken leg. He swears he sees a dragon, but then a sexy man is what he wakes up to. Things are going to get hot and spicy real soon, for Stefan is Kazeem’s mate.

I really wished that this book had been longer. It felt like it had been cut off before the real fun got even started. I do hope for this collection that the next book will be longer. Other than that it was amazing as usual. I always loved dragon shifters and dang if Charlie did’t give us a favorite.

This story had my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

I came across this author when her first book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge series came out and from that point on I knew that she would become a favorite. The worlds she creates are unique and keep my attention from the moment I start reading. The characters are sexy, fierce, tempting and will fight for what they believe is right. The stories are fascinating and give the reader everything they could ask for in a story. Heat, danger, excitement and a bit of adventure are just a few things you get in these stories.

Baron had made it to being the second of his herd, but then he was found out. He had helped his best friends family escape when his friend had been killed. His alpha was a sadistic asshat that loved to give pain. If it wasn’t for a council Internal affairs investigator, he would probably have been dead soon. Brought to the clutch where Nolan and the others were at, he had a major shock. It would seem the sexy orange gargoyle was his mate.

Conchlin was training to be a medic and was pretty good at it. His first patient turned out to be his mate and that he had not expected. Then his father and brother show up and they bring trouble with them.

I have always loved Charlie’s books and this was just another amazing story. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more. I had a lot of fun reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. This is one of those stories that will be read more than once.

Review:  I came across Charlie Richards some time ago when she wrote her first book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge series.  From the first book I was captivated and new that she would be a favorite of mine.  So you can imagine what I felt when I saw that she had this brand new series just coming out.  You guessed it, I had to run and grab it.

She has always written stories that don’t focus on one type of paranormal and for that alone she would be an author that I would follow.  I never figured a tiger shark as a shifter, but let’s just say Tort was one of a kind.  It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and definitely kept it all the way to the end.

Tort is a tiger shark shifter and works at the World of Aquatica Park, which is a bit like sea world I suppose.  He swims around and gives the audience a show.  He just hadn’t expected for a man to fall into his pool with a child.  Nor did he expect that man to be his mate.

Kane, his sister and her kids decided to spend the day at the World of Aquatica celebrating his nephew’s birthday.  Sounds like fun that is until he falls into the tiger sharks pool with a bleeding head.  Things are going to get exciting, but you must read the book.

It has a serious tone to it but there is quite a bit of humor that mixes with it.  This is one of those stories that will be read more than once.  I enjoyed reading it and can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Review: Each book in A Loving Nip collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. In fact I would recommend reading the very first series that leads you to this one. Wolves of Stone Ridge is the starter that many different series branched off, so I would start with that one first. There are about five different series, so you will definitely be entertained.

I came across Charlie when she wrote her very first book for the Wolves of Stone Ridge series and never looked back. You will meet a group of alpha that want the love of their mates. They live many centuries and their mates make their lives better and a bit interesting. Most of the time they have their serious tones but there is quite a bit of humor mixed in with them that make them even more fascinating for me. Each story will have danger, excitement, adventure, and a touch of kink to them that will keep your attention the whole time, like it does for me.

Pascal and his brothers were rescued from their old lives and brought to live among a vampire coven.  It was definitely a change for them, to live with no fear.  The ranch is a nice place to heal, but Pascal is a bit different.  He is learning that he is definitely a submissive, but is afraid to let the others know.  That is until his mate shows up.

Abner is one of the few who cannot be tranced by a vampire.  He found that out the hard way.  Now he is let into the secret of the paranormal world and is fine as long as no one wants a snack.  He is interested in a bit of fun with the dingo, but nothing to serious.  Too bad for him, he is a mate.

I love how Charlie puts together a book that will draw you in and keep you captivated all the way to the end. Charlie has become one of my favorite authors, and I am glad to see that it will never change. This is one book I would recommend.

Mathe had waited for the coven’s second to bring home several dingoes’ that had been hurt and rescued. His second had found his mate, but it would seem that Mathe has also found his. His little mate, was in fact the brother of the mate to the coven’s second. He was over joyed but knew that there were going to be a few issues to deal with, and he was going to show his little mate he was his.

Julian had been used for sex by his pack, as was his brothers. Now they were safe but it didn’t mean he wasn’t scared. Now here he was surrounded by vampires, and mated to one. Now if only he could remember to stay away from the back in of a cow.

I love how Charlie puts together a book that will draw you in and keep you captivated all the way to the end. Now I have to admit that Toni is not one of my favorites but he does come a long way. The poor guy just needs to learn a bit more about demons. I love the little extra snap in this story that will give you an exciting climax at the end.

Charlie has become one of my favorite authors, and I am glad to see that it will never change. This is one book I would recommend.

Review: Nikolai is a vampire and a killer. He kills to protect those that he calls family. He is ruthless, sometimes cold, loves his blades and torture. He doesn’t really have a gentle side, but he must find it. He has found his beloved and his beloved is a shifter who lost someone close to him. To get past his guards, he must tread lightly but also learn patience.

Parker had spent over thirty years with a human whom he loved deeply. He had passed away over ten years ago and Parker is still grieving. Now he has found a mate that is not like anyone he knows. It is going to take some time to get use to the man, but when Nikolai is injured well let’s just say things heat up real fast.

When Charlie Richards puts out a book I am usually there to eat it up. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
