Review: Each book in the Demon Elite collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. To fully get into this story I would suggest reading the Lakehouse Security series first.

In these books what makes them even more special is the fact that most of the guys have a bad past life. They don’t trust fully until you prove that you can be trusted. Liam and Wolf are just like that. Liam has not had the best home life and the one person he loves is his little brother. So when Finn stopped calling he knew something was up, he just hadn’t expected to be caught up in it also. Now he needed help for them both.

Wolf found Finn and a few other hostages in a broken down home. When he rescues Finn, he realizes that Finn’s brother is in just as much trouble. However when he takes on look at Liam he knew that this was going to be his man. He just had to get him to believe him. Because damn his little man is one hell of a feisty firecracker.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. When April puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.

Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across Catherine awhile back when she started writing her series and I have to tell you that I will always grab her books up. They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them.

Corbin had been created in a lab to be a killer and to have zero feelings for others. However, he managed to escape the damn place and found a home in Gillham. He had not expected to find his mate, but feared he would never be able to be with Jago. He didn’t have feelings and was not sure if he could be the one for his mate.

Jago on the other hand knew that he had to give Corbin time. He had only been free for six months, but he needed to see that he didn’t have a master any longer. He could make decisions and he did have feelings. It would just take some patience to find it. With danger scouting around, Corbin would do everything to keep him safe.

I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story. When Catherine puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.

I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Review: Each book in the Shifters and Lovers collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. However they can be read as a standalone.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I especially loved the fact that they were lions in this one. They are probably one of my favorite types of shifters.

Logan had a rough life and was now on the straight and narrow. However he is letting his past stand in the way of his future. When an op comes in to take care of, he meets Noah. He is attracted right off the bat, but still holds back. Let’s face it he is a complete ass to Noah. Noah however wants Logan and is willing to take a chance. Now if they could just get the bad guys all might be well.

Now this story starts off great, but it was missing a lot of stuff. I mean, yeah, Logan realizes when he thinks Noah is in danger. He might just be the man for him. They go from one extreme to the next step too fast. It came off like the author was tired of the book and just threw the ending in. It was a disappointment. Because up to the instant change it was going perfectly.

I did enjoy reading it though and would recommend it.

Review: I have read a few stories by this author and I am afraid that I haven’t really been impressed yet. The idea is perfect but the follow thru always misses the right steps. This story however was pretty good in many spots but it comes off a bit winded and off to me. It also comes off a bit rushed to me, but it was still fun to read.

First off the cover was great and the blurb was pretty good also. However it didn’t really pull me in like it should have and I pretty much skipped over parts of the story. Even skipping over sections it felt like I hadn’t which tells me that there was too much extra in the story that could have been left out.

Novablast is a mutant and handles fire. If he can join his fire into others then he can put out the flames. Then he meets Ursa who is another hero. Ursa is a shadow hero from what I gather. They hook up, fight the bad guys and get each other. When a villain from the past shows up it will take the whole crew to get rid of her.

I am sorry, but this story was not for me. It was cute, but way off the right sound. It just didn’t flow with me and I was not as entertained as I should have been. It was just missing the right part to have made it better.

However like I said before it is a fun little story and has great potential if the follow thru was a bit more set.

Jeremiah was not like any other hunter he had come across. Even when his little sister had been killed by a shifter, he felt like there were some good out there. It didn’t stop him from being a hunter and searching for those who kill humans though. So during an attack he finds himself up against demons.

However he was wrong in more ways than one. He escapes only to crash his dirt bike and getting injured. Those demons were not demons but gargoyles. He was coming to understand many things, although the fact that he wanted one of them still had him puzzled. What happened to him not being straight was one of them.

Grateman has found his mate, but he needs to show him that not all paranormals are bad. He also needs answers that only his little hunter could give him. Could you imagine his mate’s expression when he not only finds out that males can give birth, but hears one doing so. Talk about a crazy way to live. I love that the mates get pregnant, talk about a plus for me.

This book gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more. I just wished that there were more to read, I absolutely hate having to wait for the next story. I loved this one and cannot wait for the next amazing story. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. Now that he’s reached his age of maturity, otter shifter Noah is ready for his migration, where he’ll travel down the Pacific coast in search of a new place to call home and hopefully find his mate. He has only barely begun when he comes across Herm, another otter, who has his paw tangled up in a wire. He’s hurt and they need help, so Noah calls his cousin. With Denali’s help, Noah and Herm are put up in an empty house while Herm heals up enough to continue on his way.

But the waters aren’t safe for otters, not with a couple of rogue orcas making trouble for them, and as the disappearances increase, Noah realizes they’re all in danger.

He’s sure that Herm is his mate, whether the grumpy old otter wants to admit it or not, and Noah knows he must do anything to protect them both, especially when trouble decides to invite itself in.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. Although I really thought that as each story progresses so will the writing, but other than the story changing there is no true progress. It comes off fast paced but also like it was written in a hurry. It has great potential but unfortunately the story was a down side. Which is strange because Caitlin has always been one of my favorite authors.

Orcas are still a bit in the past and cause many bouts of trouble for other shifters. When Noah is migrating after his eighteenth birthday he comes across another otter in trouble. Herm is a bit of an ass, comes off totally wrong for Noah but in the end shows some potential. When the Orca’s causing trouble they must bind together to stop what is going on.

For me, this story wasn’t done justice. It had great potential but came off a bit stiff. It didn’t catch my attention like it should have but it did deflect it either.

I did enjoy reading it, but wished it was flowing off the pages instead of how it came off.

This was a fun book to read, but the ending wasn’t exactly perfect if you get my meaning. It seems that a lot was left out which explains why the book was so short. However it doesn’t take away from the story.

Review: Each book in the Gillham Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Elias has always had a crush on Zane and has finally been asked. Then he walks into his home and finds his mate. Talk about a big surprise because it is none other than his father’s best friend and a man he called uncle.

Blake had left six years ago because of many reasons. One was the fact that he was gay and the second was he had realized that his mate is none other than his best friend’s twelve year old son. In those times, the alpha back then was a homophobic asshat who would have killed him.

Now he was back as an enforcer.

So on top of the idea of mating, and his father’s not so happy attitude, there is some freaky crap going on. A creature who can poison and kill with just a little scrape of his claw. Plus the idea of new friends has made this book a load of fun and their lives a bit more quirky.

I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. Although the final line in the story had me gasping.

I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Review: To me there is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men. They always just make the day better. You don’t read many that involve dragons and I have to say that dragons will always be my favorite. This is the first book to a series that I hope makes my top ten favorites.

Avery is an ice dragon who was kicked out of his clan because they had no future use of him. He was the clan whore and knew no better. He was at the bottom of the chain and had to get away. He flew into or I should say he crash landed into another’s territory. One whose leader was not like his old clan at all. Donovan had a lot of work to do to show Avery the good side.

Now it was way too short to give me more than just a taste and left me wanting more. Also it came off very rushed to me with not enough span in between getting there, figuring out certain things and then sex again. It just came off a bit strange and did not flow as well as it should have.

Overall though I had fun with it and look forward to reading the next story. Give me dragons any day.

Review: Each book in the Watchers collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I think the idea of someone watching over others is the perfect idea. I wished it was true and could help those who needed it.

There are five watchers of different animal souls and they watch over other paranormals. Lex is a caracal shifter whose life is about to go crazy. He has found a new watcher and a very protective father. A father he had sex with the night before, can things get any crazier. It would seem that her father is his mate. Tucker however is not sure of anything but he knows he will protect his daughter at all cost.

The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me.

This story was a lot better than the others but I still wished they were a bit longer. Because no matter if you have read them all, they just seem to leave something important out. The problem is I just can’t figure out what it is missing.

Over all though it doesn’t take away from the story and I enjoyed it.

Review: Each book in the Whitedell Pride collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jayden had found his mate a few nights ago and had never told anyone. He would sneak out to see his bear. He didn’t know the reason his mate couldn’t change but he wanted to be near him. That is until Shad tried to sneak out himself, and Jayden feared for everyone’s safety.

Heath had no knowledge of who he was, where he was from or how long he had been in bear form. He feared the answers, but he knew he wanted his mate. There were many questions unanswered but they both wanted each other.

Then there is also Jayden’s little brother needing to be rescued and the hunters were back to their old tricks. The pride was in danger and they needed to watch out.

I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Catherine. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me.

I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Review: Each book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is a lot of action, danger, suspense and a bit of kink in this book. I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is so much humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I have got to say that owls are just so cute. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Charlie writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of her stories.

Hector and his friends are bird shifters and have spent most of their lives in cages. Hector doesn’t even remember what it was like to be a child. Now that they have been freed, he is trying to learn as much as he can. He has found his mate, but every time he asks him to date, Rocky turns him down.

Rocky has his eyes on Hector but doesn’t want a one night stand. He has a small child to think of and he doesn’t want to bring someone in just to get hurt. However he decides to give the little man a date to see. Let’s just say his eyes are about to be opened wide. He is mated to a cute little owl shifter whose heart is out there for anyone to see.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

When Charlie puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Blurb: Bears and otters don’t mix. Everyone knows this and they generally steer clear of each other. But for Phillip and Zeke, those rules stopped mattering the second they met.

As the son of the bear clan leader, Zeke’s purpose is to take the mate his father has decided for him and bring the Washington clans together. He has a better idea though, one that involves seducing a sexy otter and running away with him instead of doing what his family expects of him.

But things aren’t easy between Phillip and Zeke and with the bears hunting them, and Aedan and Brody. it seems all they ever do is argue. When Zeke finally has enough of it and decides to go back home, secrets that he’s been keeping from Phillip spill out and Phillip turns his back on him. Zeke understands and knows it’s what he deserves.

Phillip is glad to be rid of the lying bear, however when he sees Zeke alone and miserable at the same bar where they met, and he finds out what has become of Zeke since he went back to his family, Phillip can’t just step aside. He’ll need a miracle to fix the mess they’re in, but if he can convince Zeke to try then maybe love won’t be so impossible after all.

Review: Each book in the Patching Up collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. Although I would suggest reading the Watcher’s series also because there are crossover characters from there also.

Phillip met Zeke at the bar on his night alone. They ran away with some other otters when Zeke’s clan came after them. Then Phillip finds out that Zeke had been lying the whole time, but when he found out that Zeke’s mate was hurting him he knew he had to help.
Caitlin Ricci and A.J. Marcus are a great team and can give you some pretty amazing stories to read. But, not only are they to short but they come off very rushed and shallow.

You go from their meeting to them running away from the clan. It had a lot of holes in it and I was quite disappointed in the whole story. Well not the whole story, it was a great idea but the follow through was not good. I liked the otter and bear part, but really the bear comes off extremely weak.

I do hope that the next story has some meat to it and more details.

Demi was a Steduna demon. Basically his powers were for plants which made his job perfect. He loved to garden, that is until his ex-boyfriend started causing trouble. After the last time, he had decided it was time to leave. His best friend Noah was the perfect one to help him. He had not expected to find his sexy mate there.

Reed had been one of those that had been captured and experimented on. He was having nightmares and jumped at the slightest noise. He was always having mood swings, so he feared his mate would run after he found out. These two are perfect for each other and damn they are hot. Now all they have to do is to get the damn ex to leave them alone.

Review: Each book in the Watchers collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Yuri was a watcher and has found his mate. Regi is a raven and a bit of a nut. Kidnapped and trapped in a cage together leads them to each other. Now all they have to do is to figure out how the hell to get away. The one that has them is getting nuts about finding a watcher and Yuri wants to get him and his mate to safety.

Caitlin Ricci and A.J. Marcus are a great team and can give you some pretty amazing stories to read. Although this one comes off a bit rushed in my opinion. It is way too short to give you anything more than just a taste of something that would have been perfect. It is a pretty good story and I did enjoy reading it. However it was lacking something major to really love it.

I look forward to seeing what the next story will be like.

Review: Each book in the Sweet Snacks collection features a different romantic couple. They can however be read as a standalone.

Pitney is a shy young man who self-esteem is very low. His one relationship, which wasn’t a real relationship, left him a bit scared. So when Rafe saves him from his ex he is blown away. He had been staring at this gorgeous man since he started coming to the restaurant. Not only that but it looks like Rafe is way interested in him. So things are about to heat up.

This is the first story by Liza that I have read and I have to tell you that I will be reading more of her stories. There is just something about them that calls to you and has you spell bound. Each man has issues it seems with their sexuality but together they are determined to be together.

This is a short and very sweet little love story that I had a lot of fun reading. I would love to hear more about them in the future. The story line was perfect and the characters were well written and fully developed.

This was a blast and I would definitely recommend it.

Blurb: Out of the Cage: A bear of a man walks into a bar…and meets his slender, clean-cut opposite. It could be love at first sight…or not.
Hessian Roshburg, Hess to the few he calls friends, loves beer, barroom brawls, and breaking into places he’s not supposed to. He also enjoys strolling through the woods—in Kodiak bear form, of course—and scratching his back on trees.

After dropping off a stolen file to his friend Dillan, he indulges in one of his favorite pastimes. He visits a gay bar for a few beers and a little dancing. He’s shocked when he bumps into his mate, literally, and it’s none other than a straight-laced, stick-up-his-ass raven shifter named Gilbert.

Hess can’t wait to ruffle the guy’s feathers. In an effort to figure out what makes the other shifter tick, he digs a little too deep and uncovers a couple of secrets he shouldn’t, putting not only his own life in jeopardy, but the lives of those in Gilbert’s flock.

Can Hess fix his mistake, prove his intentions, and keep his mate and friends safe…all at the same time?

Review: Each book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order, but it isn’t necessary to enjoy the series.

Gilbert was one of the shifters rescued from Russia. He was a little raven, but man did he have an attitude. He comes off like an alpha, until you meet the others. So when he meets his mate, you can figure out how he acted. He had spent quite a bit of time in a cage being experimented on, so he wanted a bit of freedom.

Hessian is a Kodiak bear and has always been a loner. However even he has to admit, he needs something. So when he meets his little mate, he is surprised but happy. However it looks like he has gotten himself into a bit of trouble. Trouble that could bring danger to the pack. He had to keep his little mate safe, and show him just how good it is to be mated.

I know by heart that Charlie’s books will always entertain me. When she puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a lot of humor in them that I love.

I would definitely recommend reading this book.
