Blurb: Dan’s favourite festive sweater is so ugly, it’s cost him not one but three boyfriends and sent him back to his parents’ place for the third Christmas in a row. About to give up hope of ever having a Christmas date, Dan meets Jake, a hot guy with a rock and roll edge. Jake is infatuated with Dan’s sweater but vanishes before Dan can decide if Jake is for real or really in need of an eye-check. After all, no one has ever liked the sweater.

Dan’s sweater is rocketed to national attention, when Jake’s radio colleagues launch a hunt for the mystery man in the hideous jumper. Dan jumps at the chance to meet Jake again, and they hit it off in a big way, to the accompaniment of intimate gigs, exclusive clubs, and the paparazzi. Dan falls hard, but despite obvious mutual attraction, Jake refuses to take him back to his apartment. Is the relationship real – or a ratings stunt? After all, Jake has a reputation for cool that Dan, a lowly gym instructor, could never approach. Is a fondness for tacky Christmas clothing the only thing they have in common? Or does uber-cool Jake hide a Christmas secret of his own?

Review: This author is new for me and I have to say that she definitely gives you a story that you will remember. First thing that caught my attention was the title, and let’s just say it is quirky enough to have me running to grab it. The cover shows you just how ugly the sweater is, but damn I wouldn’t mind it. This story was so damn funny, I spent most of my time laughing while reading it.

Dan’s is a quirky young man that loves his ugly sweater. It had even cost him boyfriends in the past, but he wasn’t going to give it up. Thank god he doesn’t have to when he finds the one man that loved it just as much as he did. Jake had walked in and saw Dan’s sweater and knew that this was one man he wanted to get to know. After all they are way more than alike then either one thinks.

I had so much fun reading this and look forward to seeing what other stories this author has out. I would like to see what these two are doing somewhere down the in the future. They rocked and I would definitely recommend this story.

Review: A cute, sweet story of two men who come together despite the obstacles they face. I loved Ronnie and Officer Andy. Though the reason Andy is there to begin with was heartbreaking. Thugs throwing homophobic slurs is no way to enjoy ones day.

These guys are hot together.

I loved how well the story flowed and seemed endless though it is a short read.

Review: This is part of the eXtasy Books 2018 Summer Shorts.

Sekani has always been one of my favorite guys in Charlie’s books. His beloved has to make a conference call so Sekani is going to fly around in his bat form. He really should have stayed home, less dangerous. Skunks sure do smell.

I always get a crack out of these stories. They are funny as hell and sometimes exciting. This one just gives you the right amount of tasty goodness. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

Blurb: Nate Beckett doesn’t expect much from life, and he definitely doesn’t believe in New Year’s celebrations or resolutions. A happy New Year? Not likely. As the manager of McGee’s bar, the best he can hope for is a drama-free night. One glance at the sexy young man on the dance floor and that hope is long gone. Once again, his young neighbor Justin is back to tempt and torment him. Despite the undeniable attraction, Nate knows he’s too old and jaded for someone like him, so the time has come to reject Justin. It’s for his own good!

Justin may be young and inexperienced, but he knows what he needs. His New Year’s resolution—to tempt and win Nate over. One lame seduction attempt later, and he’s on his way home in a cab. Alone. But later that night, Justin wakes up battered and bruised on Nate’s doorstep, and Nate insists that Justin stay with him. The big, beautiful man’s protective and caring instincts are definitely kicking in.

Maybe, just maybe, there’s a chance for a happy New Year after all!

Review: Nate doesn’t believe in New Years resolutions. He doesn’t seem to believe in a lot of things to me. However he has a temptation that keeps coming for him, in the way of a young and sexy young man. Justin wants Nate in more ways then one. However he has a secret that he has been keeping. After one attempt at seducing Nate goes wrong, so does his night at home.

You can’t really go into details about stories like this without giving it away. I would have like to know more then what I got though, and wished this author made it a bit longer. I wanted to know more in the beginning and then I wanted to know what happens in the future. This was nothing more then a taste of something that could be great.

Donner never does anything until he’s thought it through properly. He’s certainly not one to get flustered, infuriated, or fall prey to romantic nonsense. At least not until the most unlikely of elves begins chipping away at Donner’s defenses.

Calder is a Dockalfar—a dark elf. He’s wicked, untrustworthy, and armed with lethal magic. At least that’s what everyone thinks. It’s easy for them to believe the worst and mistrust him before they’ve even spoken to him, but Calder is out to prove that he’s more than his Dockalfar blood, especially to a certain Rein Dear who has caught his eye. But it will take more than sweet words for Donner to admit what’s in his heart.

Review: Calder, a dockalfar dark elf is entrusted by Mayor Kringle to teach Calder’s brother Cupid how to control his dark powers. While there he is smitten by Donner. But alas Donner wants nothing to do with him.

Events out of their control happen and Calder is asked to help. I loved the festiveness and suspense of the story as Donner realizes you can not judge someone by what others have done. It is truly a magical tale of two opposites who come to love one another.

Fantastic read and highly recommended.

Blurb: Pierce Atwater used to think he was a knight in shining armor, but then his life fell to crap. He heads for Florida, where he’s got a month to pull his head out of his ass before he ruins his little sister’s Christmas.

Hal takes one look at Pierce and decides they’re fellow unicorns out to make the world a better place. Pierce can’t reject Hal’s overtures of friendship, in spite of his misgivings about being too old and too pissed off to make a good friend.

As they experience everything from existential Looney Tunes to eternal trips to Target, Pierce becomes more dependent on Hal’s optimism to get him through the day. When Hal starts getting him through the nights too, Pierce must look inside for the knight he used to be—before Christmas becomes a doomsday deadline of heartbreak instead of a celebration of love.

Review: What a Christmas. Pierce is having such a hard time, both physically and emotionally. He was hurt pretty bad in a car accident, ended his marriage and was trying to get back into shape. So staying in a condo for Christmas in Florida sounded good. He had not expected a very sexy kid to want to help him.

Hal is twenty-three and stuck in his life. His parents are important people who want Hal to do one thing. The problem is he doesn’t want to be a lawyer, he wants to help people. So when he sees a man in the pool, and then finds out he is injured, well he has found what he is looking for.

These two are sweet and so perfect for each other. I got a kick out of Hal, he reminds me of my youngest who is in college. Can’t stick to one major, but will eventually figure it out. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. The characters were a blast to read about and the ending was perfect.

I had a blast reading this and would definitely recommend it.

Review: I loved this story of two heartbroken men who have faced loneliness different ways. The king of Frost, Eirik, has spent a long time since his queen died keeping away from everyone else. He is for all intents and purposes unattainable. Dasher, finds him sexy and alluring and starts trying to break through his icy walls to show him that life goes on and they are still alive.

Dasher has lost someone he loved as well only he tries to live life to the fullest. Amid wedding plans, doubts, enemies these two slowly come together. My heart broke for both their pains but I was glad to see them both shine in the end.

Review: A magical story about a prince, Anwyll, who is soon to become king, who finds his consort among the commoners. Pedr is a gardener from generations of the beginning when the people fled their home world from a tyrannical reign.

Anwyll was so determined to to keep Pedr despite what tradition says. I loved how thee two interacted and talked to one another. Pedr was extremely knowledgeable about all things regarding plants. I loved his gift for the king and the tale that is told to how it came about years before.

The celebration was magical and felt like it was a fairytale come to life.

Review: Ryan was fifteen when him and his girl friend got pregnant. She didn’t want the kid so Ryan ended up being a full time dad. Then the unexpected happened, and he was raising his sisters three daughters as well. It did not leave a lot of time for a love life. So his daughter and her grandmother went into matchmaking mode. Set him up with a blind date. Talk about a stresser for sure.

Alex was one of a kind. Raised by a father who took advantage of the poor countries, he decided to go in the opposite direction. He works in disaster relief. It takes most of his time from other things. He didn’t even have a real home. And now his aunt has set him up on a blinddate. A man who has four daughters, will he survive or not.

I have read this book and one other by this author and he just has a way of writing that pulls you in each time. I am not to sure what I think of the kids in his stories but they are pretty much like all the ones you come across I guess. It is an entertaining story and what Alex does is amazing. However Ryan was the one that made a big hit with me. Don’t know many teenage boys that would raise their kids, but he was a winner. It actually feels like you are right there with them through out the whole story. It is a fully develope story with amazing characters.

I actually had quite a bit of fun reading this and look forward to reading more of this author’s work. I can’t say they are stories that I would read more then once though. I would recommend this book and can guarantee that it is a blast.

Review: Bowen is the new music teacher in a Lancaster school. I was intrigued reading that Bowen has sound-to-color synesthesia, which allows him to see the color of music and voices. Bowen ends up meeting Felix, a shy business man with an apple orchard.

Felix has been in a fire and as a result tends to keep to himself a lot. He has his struggles to progress through. I liked that Bowen and Felix’s overall personality were similar. There was insta-love from the moment they met.

My only complaint was that I think it would have been nice to see Felix’s POV. His thoughts on certain matters would have made this an even better story. The actual mystery of who is trying to sabotage these two is made known near the end. It all wraps up in a pretty package.

Well written and emotional this story pulls at the heartstrings.

Great read.

Blurb: Hiring a boyfriend for Christmas; what could possibly go wrong?

Derek is facing yet another Christmas where his life feels out of control. He has a new career that doesn’t feel like his, and parents who would just love to see him settled down. All he needs is a temporary buffer for the parties he has to attend, and for his parents to leave him alone. Enter, Luke.

Luke is twenty-thousand dollars short for the renovations on Halligans; his family’s bar in New York’s Financial District. A favor for a buddy has him agreeing to play the part of boyfriend to a guy with more money than sense.

But when the spirit of Christmas works its magic on the two men, and they begin to fall for each other, Derek runs scared, and Luke needs space.

It doesn’t matter what obstacles you throw in the way of love, or how much you run in the other direction, because, when you’re least expecting it, whether you want it or not, love happens anyway.

Review: Derek CEO of his family’s ad agency, he’s also well loved by his parents but the pressure to settle down has had him coming up with a fantastic boyfriend… a boyfriend his parents really want to meet. In desperation he hires a complete stranger to save the day, not realising that Luke really is the man of his dreams.

Luke has had his life crumple about him and in a last ditch attempt to save his family’s bar he agrees to be a pretend boyfriend in the run up to Christmas, Derek turns out to be the man that Luke could easily fall for but can he convince Derek and himself that what was built on lies could be made real.

This is a super sweet story that is just perfect for a cold winter’s night. Both Derek and Luke are wonderful characters, their attraction to each other is instant but their circumstances have them both holding back.

Derek is feeling the pressure from his parents to settle down, he also feels hemmed in at work; unsure of what he’s doing and if he’s doing things right. Luke lost his career due to injury, and he could also lose his family’s bar if he doesn’t come up with a way to get the money for it. These guys meeting solve each other’s problems but then what are they to do when they both want more?

This is a really cute story, we fall for both Derek and Luke, and both men reach out to us with their individual circumstances and feelings. We are drawn into their budding relationship, how they come to lean on each other and respect each other, and finally as they fall in love.

It’s a feel good warm fuzzy story, you can’t help but be drawn in from the first pages and you keep reading to discover how the guys will explain away their real relationship when the fake one is over… after all Luke’s name really isn’t Marcus 😉

RJ Scott knows what her readers love, but she also welcomes new readers with her warm sweet stories of two hot men falling in love. Writing this story she hit a big nugget of gold, loveable characters, interesting storyline, cute kittens and snowmen… what more could you want in a sweet romance set at Christmas.

I’d recommend this to true romantics, those who love hot men finding love, overcoming personal fears and embracing family.

Review: Eugene is a sweet young man who has had a hard life. He had not been able to read for many years, went to work with his brother who turned around and stole his money because he was gay, lost his job because of an injury and lost his home. He had to start all over. He bought some cheap land that couldn’t really be used and started building himself a home. Since he was broke you will have to guess where he got his equipment. However it was starting to get real cold. When the foreman from the site he had been grabbing old materials out of shows up, he is real surprised when Cullen tells him why.

This has made my day. Although I understand Eugene’s reason for wanting to do it all on his own, it does show how good some neighbors can be. I absolutely loved this story and would hope that it was going to added onto later on. It was the perfect Christmas story I have came across in a long time.

I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

Review: Alec and Ray are supervillians. Although they really don’t act like it though. Alec wanted to show Ray how he truly felt for Christmas. However his weird side wouldn’t turn down a bet by Ray’s best friend. Now he really had to make plans. Ray loved this soap opera called All My Werewolves. It involved a good twin and an evil twin werewolves, played by the same guy. So Alec made a plan that involved the actor, boy is he in for a major shock and surprise.

While I was wanting a good paranormal story, this was not what I had expected. It had a pretty good twist to it that was pretty cool. I am not much into superhero’s and supervillian’s, but this story kind of made it rock. It was an adventure that is for sure.

I had a kick reading it and I am pretty sure you will also.

I enjoyed this story quite a bit. I still don’t understand the fascination with stars or famous people, but Edgar seems to make it easy looking. I was quite surprised by this story. It is a short story that has quite a bit in it. It was fun and enjoyable.

I would definitely recommend this book.

Review: Jason left his home and went to California when he turned eighteen. His home life was not all that hot and with his dad’s mean streak he just couldn’t stay home. It meant he left the man he loved behind. Then eight months ago, his brother and sister in law were killed, and now he was raising their daughter. He just wanted something to go right. Deciding to go back to his home town was the only thing he could think of when he remembered he forgot Christmas. He wanted to give Mallory something nice. It had not turned out the way he thought.

Tommy comes to his ex’s rescue when he sees their car in the ditch. Then he ends up offering them a place to stay for Christmas. Even still a bit upset with the way things had ended, he decided it was time. Now if only they could see what was standing in front of them.

Old friends and lovers, brought back together in the future. A smart ass kid that I am not sure about. It is a short story that had a lot of detail and depth to it. I love the old town nestled in snow, especially around Christmas time. The kids sounded more like seventeen then ten. Her words and reaction just seemed off. Also the guys just seemed to make the same tone to their language. Then there was the fact that Jason never really gave Tom the answers he would have needed. It went from angst to love to fast for me, even if it is the holidays. For such a short story there were to many feelings floating around, and just didn’t make a Christmas story sound right. The ending was abrupt and even more off.

I am sorry to say but this story just didn’t flow right for me.

Review: Brad was a successful lawyer in San Francisco but not successful in his love life. His relationship with his parents are not the best, so every Christmas he goes with friends to Napa. He needs a new life it would seem. He sets his eyes on a very sexy young man who is filming the court case but isn’t to sure about what to do. Michael takes the choice out of his hands.

I got a kick out of this story and would love to read more about them. Although I could have done with out the political stuff involved in it, the message was received. It just made the Christmas tone a little set back and made if focus on the hate for those in politic’s. Although I do agree all the way, I would have wished the story to be just a bit more about them. Other than that issue, this story rocks.

I would definitely recommend it.

Review: Milo wanted to spend Christmas with his boyfriend, but instead he offered to help his boss at work. Or should I say Boxing Day, which I have no clue what that is (*snigger* It’s the day after Xmas, we Brits celebrate it ~Pixie~). He has quite a bit to sell but too bad no one was shopping at his particular store. Lance is a billionaire with a hot boyfriend. A boyfriend that has to work. So Lance and his best friend William, decide to help Milo in a very intriguing way.

This is a very cute little story that was a blast to read. It switches from present time to when they had met, which at first is a little off. However once I figured out what was going on, not so bad. I hate to admit that even though this was a blast to read, it really didn’t come off all that Christmas type of story.

It is a fun story and perfect for when you need that quick burst of sexy into your day. I would recommend it.

Review: I loved this story. You have two good men. One,Taviano, a nearly two hundred year old vampire turned against his will at twenty-two. He believes he is a monster and so lives a lonely existence away from humans. The only ones he feeds from are bad ones. It is this situation in where he meets Paul.

He sees three men stalking a lone figure and intercedes. Paul is smitten by Taviano, even after learning what he is. I liked the easy going way these two talked with each other. They seemed made for the other. They both are lonely and have good hearts despite their situations.

I was happy Taviano helped Paul Deliver gifts to the lgbtq children. This made them grow even closer.

Fantastic read and highly recommended.

Blurb: Craft store owner Grant has always been a sucker for a pretty face, and that goes double for a pretty face with an adorable sidekick. When seven-year-old Aubrey has her heart set on taking Grant’s already-full holiday craft series, he caves and gives up his one day off a week so she (and her hot guardian, Josh) can take private lessons. Their flirting ramps up week after week, and even though Josh isn’t with Aubrey’s mother, Grant can’t be sure the man isn’t straight. Maybe he’s just being friendly. And Josh, who most definitely is not straight, is afraid of being the creepy guy hitting on the teacher.

Frustrated by their stubbornness and cluelessness, Aubrey takes matters into her own hands. She decides the best gift to give Josh is something homemade and from the heart—a boyfriend they’ll both love.

Review: Grant owns Make and Take craft store. He pretty much works every day except for Sunday. Sunday is his day with his friends. That is until he promises a sexy man and a cute seen year old to help them make some gifts for Christmas. To bad the man is straight. Josh is definitely not straight, and his eye is on Grant. He just needs the help of a little girl who is match making to get them going.

This was a pretty good short story. It was fully developed and so much detail that I was quite shocked at how short it was. It was also real charming. I loved the characters and lets just say Aubrey was a hit. She might be seven, but damn she acts so much older. She sure did set them up. It also made me want to do a little bit of crafting.

I had a lot of fun reading this and can guarantee that you will too.
