Review: Each book in the Devil Hills Wolves collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Daryl and his older brother had escaped the human’s who wanted to get their hands on him. He was what they call an Esper, someone with some psychic powers. He had killed their abusive father when they were younger, and just tried to stay safe. That is until his brothers chief started asking questions, then they decided to run to the one place that might be able to keep them. Now he was just trying to figure out his feelings for the sexy, powerful and cranky alpha.

Deacon and his best friends took up protecting other paranormal’s after most of their pack had been killed. Twelve years old and seeing the death of his parents and most of his pack, had made him a bit cold and hardened. He hated humans but slowly, very slowly he is starting to see that not all human’s are bad. He is just trying to figure out what to do with his feelings for Daryl.

This series has a dark tone to it and even though it does work for this story, it also makes the story a bit off. It felt like the story had been quite rushed by the author that it didn’t flow like it should have. I loved Daryl, but the alpha was a bit hard to connect with. You can understand why he is the way he is, but still he just comes off wrong. Other than those issues I had with it, the story is quite interesting and fun to read.

It has a unique and fresh way of taking the story in the direction it is going. It has great potential to be a top story with a little more time goes into it. I did enjoy reading it and can say that this will be read more than once.

Review: Dave loves being a police officer, even though he was just getting started. He was a normal human who had a deep secret. His brother, Daryl is a very special man with psychic powers. That placed them in danger at all times. In a world where paranormal’s were hunted down and either killed or put into rehabilitation.

Esper’s were humans with abilities that could heal or kill those around them. The government placed them into places that rehabilitates them but leaves them like a robot, with no emotions. Dave did not want that for his little brother, so when his chief started asking questions, he knew it was time to run. To go to the one place that might just also get them killed.

Forrest was a powerful wolf shifter who has just found his mate, a human. His alpha hated humans and would kill them on sight. He was about to do the one thing that could get them both killed, go against the alpha’s orders.

This is not one of those happy pack type of books. The pack is a hard place and they don’t have much patience for others. They come off very cold and heartless, especially the alpha. It is a very unique story with a different feel to it. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading it and kept it all the way to the end. I can’t say that it gave me everything I could ask for but it came pretty close. It has a dark tone to it that I didn’t really care for, but it worked for this story.

I liked Dave quite a bit but it took a bit of time to get into Forrest, however he was perfect for his mate. It felt like the story was missing something but I could not tell what it was. It will be one of those stories that will be read more than once though.

I enjoyed it quite a bit and would recommend it. I can’t wait to start on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Brac Village collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. With this story I would actually start with the Brac Pack series. There are many series that are branched off from it.

Lynn Hagen was one of the first authors of m/m romance that I have read. Her stories evolve around shifters who are the alpha types with mates that always call to them. They will do everything in their power to protect those around them, but will be taken down at the knees by their little mates. Her stories have an energy to them that always seems to lighten a person’s day. The are entertaining, funny as hell, exciting with a bit of danger to them and the sex is mega hot.

Gary lives with his grandmother when his mother passed away. He had a lot of secrets that he held, but the worst was his deadly father hidden in the attic. When someone tried to break in to their home, Gary and his grandmother go to the police for help. A sexy detective is not what he had expected.

Richard had once been working for the government who was going after Manny and his brothers. Now that his superior was the one behind it all, he has left that side of life behind. Working for the police department in Brac Village was something new. So when his mate walks in with a story of robbery he decides to help. It leads him to many more dangerous creatures then himself. And many more surprises.

I have a blast reading these stories and that hasn’t changed. The connection that is seen with the characters is always a nice surprise, for instance’s Mavericks feelings for the old lady was a nice one. Although you never really do find out why that is.

I enjoyed the story quite a bit and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story.

Review: A new and exciting story by one of my top authors. I came across this author a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with her stories. This was no different.

Xias was an omega and omega’s had no standing in their prides. His alpha ruled them with an iron hand and was cruel as one could be. His alpha took what he wanted and killed off those who pissed him off. Xias was on the run with his cubs, cubs that were sired by his alpha. The problem is his alpha wanted his son, but wanted his daughters killed.

Zhuang’s father wanted him to start his own clan. To bad he didn’t want to do it. He was a loner and not very friendly. That was until he found a reason to do it. On a cold night with snow coming down hard, he came across his mate. A mate with three cubs and who was frightened.

I have always been a fan of Stormy’s books and knew right off the bat that I wanted to get my hands on it. It is a vey fascinating story with a mixture of fresh ideas and an old twist to it. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I was fascinated with the characters and their fight. Although I would have like a different ending with just a bit more to it, this left me thinking that maybe just maybe there might be another book coming.

The story did feel a little bit off, but not enough to make me want to stop reading. I had a lot of fun reading it and can admit that this will be read more than once.

Review: Although I love this series I did not care for the repetitive phrases of beast and beastly throughout this story. It got on my nerves to constantly read that. I know how Mikhail, a hunter, feels about the paranormal so there was no need to say so continuously. Once was enough.

Nico, was strong and understanding yet firm and unmovable on certain things. I liked the way he let Connor see for himself how creek was rather than constantly telling him. Mikhail’s past trauma broke my heart. I did understand to a point his hatred of the paranormals.

Jude, the leader of the hunters, was evil incarnate. It shocked me at what he did to those who he selected. It served to remind me just how animalistic humans can be. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great read.

Review: Charlie and his friends had been hunted because they had a birthmark signaling thy were true mates to the bear shifters and could have their cubs. Too bad his had been cut off him and his virginity was stolen by a cruel shifter. He didn’t think that he could have his bear shifter mate and no babies.

Owen had been avoiding Charlie ever since he found out that they were mates. He had mated once before and she had killed their child before he had even been born. A second chance at love and a family was something he wanted, if his fears wouldn’t betray them both. Then Charlie is abducted and he knows what he needs to do.

Fascinating story as always. It was worth waiting for and I was glad I grabbed it up. This story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. The characters were fully developed and down right hot. I think that Charlie would be my favorite of the guys so far. He is a sweetie that is for sure.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story.

This is one book I would recommend.

Review: Each book in the Federal Paranormal Agency collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across this author some time ago and absolutely fell in love with the worlds she creates. When I saw the name of the series for this particular story line, I knew it was what I wanted to read and probably needed. There is always sexy characters, interesting story, excitement, adventure and danger in these books. This story however was a bit different.

David was born Tae and his life was taken from him by a vicious killer. He came home to find his parents dead and then he was injured when he ran. A six month coma left him with out his memories but time will tell. Living with his guardian, he has spent a majority of his time researching serial killers, which keeps his mind on the past. Years have gone past and his past is coming back. He needs to know the truth, who killed his parents and why. He might just regret asking those questions.

Now he is recruited by the FPA and is sent in to find the killer. What he finds is not what he wanted. Eric is a medical examiner as well as a vampire. He has kept watch out for David, but there are some pretty wicked twists to this story that will change things.

Now for me the story is a bit rocky and doesn’t flow like it should have. Also the ending was way wrong, I am sorry but a killer is never reformed. To hold such a secret and for the amount of people involved would be impossible. The means to an end or in this case vigilante killings are just as twisted as those they go after.

I felt let down with this book, and sure do hope the rest don’t follow the same line.

Review: Each book in the Wildfire collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

What is better then two sexy men getting it on, well you guessed it three. Welcome to a hot and tempting ménage. Max rescued Cory when he was a teenager and basically finished raising him. Cory had been abused by his father and needed a gentle hand. Which Max doesn’t really have. Things change for both of them and the explosion is about to hit. Then you add in one sexy millionaire who has had a taste of Cory, and things are going to heat up. To bad Max is closed off and Seoul has never been in love before. It is going to be an interesting run.

I wasn’t to sure about Cory and the guys at first. Just couldn’t figure out how he was going to get them all together but hey Lynn surprised me again. The heat and connection plus add in the passion and damn it was one sweet read. It wasn’t perfect but it ended pretty good. I can’t say this one would be my favorite of the series but it was still a good book.

I enjoyed reading this story and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I also loved the danger and excitement, but really would have love to watch that beating jackal getting his just rewards. Guess will have to wait and see what happens. I had a lot of fun and can guarantee that you will too.

I would definitely recommend this book.

Review: Each book in the Dark Knights collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is actually one of the branch off of the Brac Pack and several others so I would suggest starting with the first book in the Brac Pack.

Caleb’s brother Jacob had been killed in a car bombing that was meant for his boss. He wanted answers and decided at the funeral was time to get those answers. To bad he didn’t actually have the guts to go up to the man, just follow him for hours in his car.

Raven knew right off the bat that he had been followed by not one but two vehicles. The first one was definitely noticed. The kid was not made for it, but he still needed answers. What he found was his mate. To bad the hunters found out about Caleb, because he will kill anyone who comes after him.

The first thing I am going to say is that I hope that Jacob isn’t dead but that is just a wish. This story was pretty cool and I enjoyed reading it. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more. The characters made it rock, although in a way it does leave you hanging. Which means I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Rescue for Hire West collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. Rescue for Hire West is a cut off from the original Rescue For Hire stories, so I would suggest to get the full effect to start with the stories from Rescue For Hire.

When Bellann came out with her very first story for Rescue For Hire, I knew I had found an author that I would follow through it all. Her stories have this impact that just makes you wish you were right there with them. They are very entertaining with lots of action and some pretty hot scenes. The characters are fully developed and are just down right sexy.

Reese was a medic for his team. He has served in the military at one time and now worked for Rescue for Hire West. He lost his father at a young age and it impacted him for some time. Even now you can tell how it did. During a rescue he lost a young girl, but save two others. He needed a break from it all. He decides to go to the beach, but en route he is involved in a serious accident that leaves him injured.

Lee is a ex-detective who now sells hotdogs to those on the beach. When he notices a man who seemed to be able to hide from people, well it caught his attention. Especially when that man has staples in his head, and a injury to his arm and leg. He decides to step in and help, but his heart soon wins over. Then the men from Rescue for Hire West shows up, and well you will have to read the story.

I am not really sure what to think of this particular story. I didn’t really care for the ending at all, not saying I didn’t love the story because I did, but the ending was just wrong. It was like tearing a family apart to me. It made me a little depressed and not really all that in a good mood. It doesn’t mean that I can’t wait to get my hands on the next story though. It just shows that Bellann Summer definitely puts her heart and soul into her stories. Very tender and heart filled story for me. I just wished for a better ending.

I would definitely recommend this, but get the tissues out.

Review: Ian was five years old, when Hank saved him from some bullies. As time goes by, Ian’s feelings change and so does his world. He figures he will always just love Hank from the sidelines as their lives go on. That all changes when Hank joins the military. Now it is thru letters and phone calls. That is until Hank is killed in service. However this story has many fantastic twists and turns that will leave you smiling in the end.

I came across Stormy Glenn a few years back and have pretty much kept an eye out for her stories. She has became one of my top favorite authors and was put on an automatic buy list. Her books are very entertaining, with a serious tone to it, but is matched with humor. The characters are well rounded and damn are they quirky. I absolutely loved all of the guys in this one. Just don’t drink the jungle juice.

Now the only negative thing I have to say is it felt rushed and not fully completed. I loved it, don’t get me wrong but it just felt like something was left out of the story. I really would have loved Hank’s families reaction, also to get to know the rest of the guys. However Stormy might have a secret that she is not telling us about. Makes me wonder, what she has planned.

I hope that this is the start to a new series, because the geek squad and Hank’s teammates need some loving. I also loved the paranormal twist that this had and can not wait to read it again. I can guarantee that this story will be read many times over.

I had a lot of fun reading this and hope that you will fall in love with it too.

Review: Each book in the Dark Knights collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. In this case you should start with the original series “ Brac Pack”. That introduces you into this amazing world, and is cut off in to many different series. So a lot more reading in your future.

Lynn Hagen was one of the first m/m romance authors that I came across and knew that she would be a favorite of mine. Her stories are funny as hell but do have a underlining of serious attitudes. In this case, Declan killed a hunter and was caught by the local police, the human police. Now he was in trouble, and leave it to the one lawyer he hates to be the one to rescue him. To top it off the man is his mate.

Saul is pretty much in agreement wit Declan. He can’t stand the loud mouth, but there was something about him that turns him on just as fast. Now to find out what deep and dark secret his mate is hiding from him. Well that is after they find out who is trying to kill them.

I get a crack out of these books. There is a serious tone to parts of it, but humor out matches it. I love the characters and how they seem to be able to stand up to their rough and snarky mates. Their mates will kill any and all just to protect them. I had a lot of fun reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Dark Knights collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is a branch off from several series, starting with Brac Pack. This includes Brac Pack, Brac Village, Christian’s Coven, Zeus’s Pack and many more.

Joelle had basically led a boring life. He loved to read and hang out with his mother. He was still that way, well till Ryan dragged him out. To bad Ryan’s best friend was a bit prickly. Then he met Kivani and his life is about to get a bit more exciting, but he wasn’t really a person who like excitement. Kivani is going to have his hands full.

Kivani, like the other knights, had led a nasty past life. On top of that he was also keeping a secret, his cousin was a hunter. Kivani is an assassin who kept the paranormal’s and their mates safe. Now he has a sexy mate, and danger just keeps on a coming.

Lynn Hagen was one of the first m/m romance authors that I started reading and actually kept on reading. The characters are fully developed and damn hot. They are alpha males with sexy little mates that have had their own problems. They are action packed with quite a bit of danger in them, but don’t worry there is some hot sexy time also.

I loved this book but I knew I would before reading it. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I had a blast with it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Another exciting addition to the spirits of sage series as enemies hit much closer to home with the help of one of the kids. Cullen finally get his happy ever after, though not without danger involved. His mates are sexy bear shifters.

One thing I love about this series is that each story has several things going on at once that all combine to give a fascinating read that draws you further into the community.

I love reading about each person and how they impact or fit in the group. Such a diverse group and tightly knit. I am looking forward to seeing hat else happens in this series.

Fantastic read and highly recommend.

Blurb: Rowan Adams awakens surrounded by werewolves, with no memory of who he is. The man in front of him, Devon Carter, is the alpha of the pack and, according to him, Rowan’s mate.

Born into a coven of witches that behave more like a cult, Rowan took his sister and ran. They’d been running for years before they stumbled into Devon’s territory. Somehow, Rowan managed to convince the alpha to take him as his mate, knowing that his skills as a witch would benefit the pack, and that having a small army of werewolves to protect him and his sister was a pretty good deal.

The plan was going well until something went wrong with the mating ritual, leaving Rowan with no idea who he was, or what the hell was going on.

With the coven closing in, and trouble with another pack, Rowan barely has time to adjust to his crazy life, or to the man he’s apparently married.

Review: Rowan and his sister are from a coven that is not somewhere one would chose to be. The coven had old views and one of them was the females were subs and mated off to who ever the leaders wanted. Rowan did not want that for his sister. So they did the one thing they could do, they ran. They ran right into a wolf pack.

Rowan had talked the alpha into mating with him. It would strengthen the pack and protect them all. The one thing they need since the coven was coming for them and a pack was on the odd side of them. To bad Rowan didn’t remember a thing about it.

Magic always seems to come back to bite one in the ass, but in this case it might just help them out a bit. Now with this story I hate to admit that it comes off a bit stiff and it is hard to connect with the characters. It doesn’t really flow like it should have, but is still enjoyable to read. I can’t say that it is one of those stories that would be read more than once, but time will tell. I will also admit that it did manage to keep my attention while I was reading it. So that was a plus in my book.

It was a enjoyable read and I would definitely check out the rest of this author’s work out. I would recommend it.

Review: I really enjoyed reading about Craig, Amos, Finch, Blaze and Garnet. The guys were seriously bad ass. Tough as nails and not afraid to fight for what is right. Danger comes in many forms to the group. Power hungry alphas tear down and abuse pack members at their leisure. On top of that the group learns of a facility were people are taken never to be seen again.

This was a great beginning to a new series. I was disappointed in the two m/f/f scenes in it as I’m an m/m reader. But aside from that it was a gripping tale of love, betrayal, deceit, mystery and suspense. This story had me on the edge of my seat.

But I do wonder what happened to Sharpie. He was mentioned several times as one of the people taken yet there was no mention of him being one that was rescued or that died, so I’m curious as to what happened to him on that island.

Great read..

I loved this book but I knew I would before reading it. I am not a fan of the series name, but it only took me to the third book to remember where it came from. Review: The cat clan has many harsh rules and Steve seems to break many of them. He is not as submissive as they want and he decided to help a human in need. It is a punishment of death, but he survived. He found a place to hide and in his mind to die. However something made him want to live. The place he found to hide just so happened to be a ex-con in the shape of a werebear. A werebear who was almost feral and rogue. It seems he might just save the bear also.

Damon has spent five years in a shifter prison for murder. The problem was he didn’t kill anyone, his little brother had. He had lost a part of himself in there, and now he knew he was going out of control. That is until he saves a little tabby shifter.

I have not read but a few books by this author, so I wasn’t to sure what to expect. He has a few weak spots in it and the connection was not felt between me and the characters very well. However it is a very entertaining story and I hope that the next book gets better. It has great potential to be pretty amazing. It is unique and very surprising. I am afraid that the omega and the way the others treat them was the same but they might have a way out.

I was quite surprised with it and did enjoy the book.

Review: Evzen was the leader of the dragons that join with Seth’s dragons. He takes one look at cute Cole and pursues him but Cole is terrified of everyone after the abuse he suffered at the hands of the vampires. I liked how even though Evzen wanted Cole he took the time to ensure and do everything possible to convince Cole he was not in danger from him.

Some of Evzen’s dragons do not approve and one even attacks Cole. I felt their was a lack of communication to Cole on Evzen’s part as he should have told him not everyone was happy with them being mates. A great addition to the series.

Highly recommended.

Review: This book was previously published at 20,000 words as part of Siren’s anthology Ride a Cowboy. It has been extensively revised and expanded an additional 16,000 plus words.

When I saw this and started reading this, I knew I had read it before. I hate to admit that I was thinking of a different author when I read it. Then I remembered why, the character Papa Bear is actually from Bear County series written by Lynn Hagen. Then I remembered the anthology that was written. Stormy has been one of my top favorite from the start of her series. Her characters are fully developed and a bit quirky. They are easy to fall in love with and always leave you wanting more.

Papa Bear is exactly that a bear shifter. He is the leader of a deadly and dangerous biker gang. Unlike real bears they have no desire to hibernate in the winter, but travel around. That is until he goes off on his own, and finds his mate. A mate that is in danger.

Bug is from a pack that is against many changes, and one of them is gay men. His father wanted to mate him to a female alpha and damn if the man won’t take no for an answer. Bug knew he had to leave now. Too bad his pack caught up with him and it left him bleeding. Now his mate has found him, rescued him and deserted him. Things are not what one would think.

It is a very enjoyable story, and a lot of fun to read. I have to admit that it is a bit smaller than I had expected and the story is just a bit off. However it doesn’t take away from the story itself. I can see reading it more than once will be in my future.

This is one story I would recommend.
