Lisa’s Review: Each book in the Federal Paranormal Agency collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Ranger had screwed up with his old pack by falling in love with another’s mate. He had at one time even wanted to keep the little guy with him and not take him back. However he knew it was not fair to Maddox, Scout and himself. So he had left the pack and joined the FPA. When he got there, yes he was still in love with Maddox but he was attracted to the boss.

Too bad Abram wasn’t interested in him. Every time he asked for a case, he was turned down until now. It was just his luck to end up in hell. Then he found out what Abram had been hiding. The damn man was his mate.

Abram had known about Rangers past, and he should not have let his feelings go by what he learned. So he hidden his scent and not told Ranger that they were mates. Then Ranger is abducted and then almost killed. It was time to tell his mate and try to fix the mistake he has made. That and probably get his ass kicked for hiding an important part. But then again make up sex is downright hot.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Shorty’s Review: Abram, a grizzly shifter and head of the FPA, sends his mate, Ranger, a wolf shifter, on a mission to find out about missing shifters. Things turn extremely dangerous when Ranger infiltrate the fighting ring to uncover who is behind it.

Heartbreaking scenes of shifters being drugged to the point where their animal side takes over and they are filled with rage then thrown in a ring to fight one another in animal form.

I was highly disappointed that instead of letting Ranger know he was Abram’s mate, he hide his scent from him so he wouldn’t know. While I understood the reasoning to a point, he still should have trusted him.

Intense scenes, adventure packed book, very well written book made for a fantastic read.

Highly recommended.

Review: Wow, this book was a fantastic read. It felt similar to the Indiana Jones movies. Action packed adventure and suspense with some very skilled sexy men. This book travels all over the world as the characters are treasure hunters. The different cities were breathtaking. The sex was hot and steamy though there wasn’t a lot of it.

The characters are Luca de Roma, an Italian model, Dr. Eden Santiago, Brazilian Biologist, Shane Houston, cowboy, Will Hunter, college student, Jake Stone, adventurer. These guys were amazing and had me wishing I was with them as the traveled.

I really liked that each of the five were introduced and that their skills and background were included. The characters seemed to come alive as the story progressed leaving the reader wanting more and more. You will be holding your breath, gasping, and sitting on the edge of your seat throughout.

Can’t wait to see what happens next. Simply an amazing book that definitely should be read. I loved it.

Highly recommended.

Review: Amazing addition to the outlaw MC series. I was utterly speechless as I read. Justice was a tough leader who wants to take down the corrupt government on Mars. Romeo used to be with the Outlaw MC’s until he was caught having sex with another man and ran to Justice’s gang to escape death.

Romeo ends up falling for Justice and coming to his aid when he is captured. Intense scenes and fights as well as action packed and some hot sex made for a fantastic read. Can’t wait to read more in this series. Love it so far.

Review: Part one of this story is Boots and Leather. It was even published under that name. Part two is Lock and Key. Now this story has quite a bit of BDSM, but I wasn’t so sure about the boot licking part. That just seemed wrong and very degrading. It was a good story altogether though.

Terry has dragged his best friend to man motorcycle shows of the year. He has wanted to learn more about the BDSM scene but never had someone to play with. He kept looking for the perfect biker to show him. And he has finally found the one for him. Too bad once it gets heated up that he chickens out. Terry wants Gavin but is afraid of what will happen once they fell in love.

This is a good story but definitely was not for me. Had it been more detailed and a bit longer then it might have changed my mind. I really did not care for the boot licking. This made Terry come off a bit bizarre and desperate.

Nathan Hanson is still working through the recent changes to his life. When he walks away from Diana, his long-time girlfriend, he comes out to his father, Owen. To his surprise, he learns that Owen is gay, too. Unfortunately, Diana doesn’t want to move on.

When she continues to call him, Nathan changes his phone number. Next, she starts dropping by his work, so he gives her description to his work’s lot security, asking them to keep her out. Nathan even moves into an apartment on the far side of town, near to where his father now lives, but sometimes he still feels like he’s being watched.

When Nathan finally gets up the courage and accompanies a few friends to a gay bar, he just wants to have a little mindless fun to take his mind off his problems…and maybe, finally act on his desires for another man. There, he meets Lexington Paistro, who is handsome, sexy, and into Nathan. He’s also a vampire. Having learned of paranormals when his father bonded with one, it’s not the biting that Nathan fears. It’s the possessiveness. He’s still trying to extricate himself from a woman who thinks she owns him.

Will Lexington behave the same way?

Review: I really liked how Lexington, a vampire, talked to Nathan and reassured him considering Nathan’s ex. The thing that was confusing was the way the blurb read I thought Diana would have shown up more than twice in the book though she was mentioned several times. Nathan struck me as insecure which was to be expected after being in a controlling relationship for so long.

Diana seemed psychotic, in the fact that Nathan left her, but she refused to accept it. She definitely had a few marbles loose if you ask me. Her reaction and attitude when she “bumped” into Nathan with his friends seemed obsessive, stalker-ish and delusional.

I loved Lexington’s understanding and wanting to keep Nathan safe no matter what. Great read with hot sex.

Review: Not many New Adult books leave me going, “OMFG, that was f-ing fantastic”, but Love Complicated left me both blown away and extremely happy by the end I got to the end of this novel.

This is about two 18-year-old guys, who are seniors in high school, but they are poles apart socially. Jalen is a quiet guy who doesn’t think that anyone notices him, though he is prominent in the school’s music department (I think I identified with him because minus being gay that was essentially me until I went to my 10 year high school reunion).

In fact, I was half expected for Jalen to take steps to become professional. Then there is Austin. He is one of the school’s “jocks” – Austin is a championship tennis player who is going to go pro at any time. It also happens that he has noticed Jalen much more than Jalen could ever think.

This is a sweet story of two guys in high school, going through the roller coaster that is senior year and with Austin coping with a particularly controlling father who wanted to be a pro tennis player long before. Jalen is the middle-class sort of guy with only his mother, and Austin is the rich-kid who has everything material except his parents are too busy making barbs at each other to be really there for their kids.

The minor characters are also fantastic and really make the story much more and add a definite depth that makes it feel so real. I love and adore Jalen’s BFF Sarah, and Austin’s BFF Clark, as well as Austin’s little sister CeCe. All three inject a lot of needed humour and fun to proceedings.

They are also fun and realistic catalysts that help Jalen and Austin along the way. Basically, they are exactly what minor characters are meant to be. I’m also giving honourable mentions to Jalen’s and Austin’s respective mothers. Jalen’s mother is a total sweet and fun-loving woman who is devoted to her son, whereas with Austin’s mother we get to also see her grow up as she makes her occasional appearances.

I cannot recommend this enough, even if you do not like young adult fiction, I think even us adults can see a lot of our experiences at that age reflected in either the major or minor characters.

Review: This is a short and very erotic, steamy stormy. It is about young adult, Holden, and his infatuation for his best friend’s father.

Dare I say, that this is a quick and satisfying read, pun fully intended. This is really for people who like to read couples with large age gaps (about 20 years) and definitely for those with penchant for the forbidden.

As a side note, Aussie’s out there will probably be amused that Holden’s car broke down. C’mon! I’m laughing. For everyone else, Holden and Ford are car companies that share a sometimes friendly rivalry in Australia.

Wonderfully written and very beautiful details of the scenery. I felt as though I was actually there. I loved how patient Cameron was with Trevor as he tried to come to grips with what was happening. The chemistry between these two was hot.

Blurb: The first step on the road to addiction is desire…

Tighe is Summer’s prince, the second son of the Summer Queen. The blindness of his mortal father cursed him with eyes that see too much, and now he wanders the woods of immortal Summer alone. He is an outsider in his own country or at best a curiosity—never someone anyone truly wants.

Faelan is gancanagh, one of dark Summer’s most treacherous beings. Beguiling as he is beautiful, he, like all of his kind, was made to incite lust and longing, even as he seeks true love. For anything mortal, anything unprepared, even to be in his presence is dangerous.

When the two meet by chance, Faelan can’t help but be curious about this half-mortal prince—and the prince is more interested in a companion than questioning what kind.

Tighe has never seen anything but the lie behind love. Faelan is love’s lie and knows it. Is the beginning and end of everything between them inevitable? Which is stronger, need—or nature?

Review: Tighe, as the son of the Summer Queen and a blind mortal, has very special eyes. They saw everything hidden. He considers them a curse since he sees even truths that people had from themselves. This has led to him being alone and lonely. He is looking for something different in a lover, someone who he can actually love.

That comes in the form of Faelan, a being that draws people to himself through lust. But that lust is dangerous and can become addictive. No one sees beyond Faelan’s beauty. He wants someone to love.

These two are opposites, but both looking for the same thing in life. They want to belong and love someone. They also break their normal patterns and set out to give each other what they both need.

I enjoyed this read. The writing is good, and was very descriptive. Not just the sex, but also the surrounding and emotions. It moved along at a comfortable pace for such a short read without feeling rushed.

Blurb: “Bound” is the story of Adrian, a man who finds himself wheelchair bound, and thinks that his life is over. Until he meets Nate, and learns to love again.

A male/male Romance with explicit sexual scenes and mild BDSM elements, this novella is intended for adult readers.

**This story was written for the Goodreads mm romance group’s 2014 Love’s Landscapes event. It was written in response to a prompt letter (included in the front copy of this book) **

Dear Author,
When I was told I would never walk again and would be stuck in a wheelchair the rest of my life something inside me broke. I put up a cold and tough front to keep everyone at arm’s length; it’s easier that way. No one could ever love a man whose body is covered in scars, whose legs will never work again, who’s lost himself.

Reviewer: Tams

Review: Imagine waking up one morning loving life. You are a successful accountant; you have wonderful friends and a loving family. It’s an unseasonably warm day for this time of year, so you decide to take your motorcycle out for a spin. The next time you wake up is in a hospital bed surrounded by bright lights, beeping machines, and you can’t feel your legs. That is what happened to Adrian. In the two years since the accident, Adrian has closed himself off from everyone except his family and his physical therapist.

Adrian is in a deep, self-loathing depression. The only time he leaves his home is for his physical therapy. It’s during one of his visits that Adrian is noticed by the new therapist, Nate. Adrian is standoffish, brash and downright rude to the guy. Since the accident left him scarred and crippled, Adrian feels he has nothing to offer and the last thing he wants is anyone’s pity. Nate has to dig deep to find the emotions Adrian buried long ago, he has to work hard to prove to Adrian that all he sees is him. A gorgeous, smart, sexy man who can give Nate the most important thing in the world… Love.

Short, Sexy and Steamy! My three favorite colors!! I blew through this book in about an hour, and immediately went back and read it again. The push and pull between the two men in this story is brutal but honest, and well-balanced. Adrian has convinced himself that he isn’t worth loving, and even if he were, who could love a man without the use of his legs? A man who is both physically and mentally scarred? Nate doesn’t even register any of those things, he only sees Adrian.

Slowly but surely Nate starts to break down the barriers Adrian has hidden himself behind. The two become friends before they are lovers. Nate has to build a solid foundation of friendship and trust before Adrian will even consider letting Nate into his life, much less his bed. I must say, I was surprised at how detailed and ripe with content this story was for so few pages. You definitely get a sense of knowing the characters and understanding exactly why Adrian feels the way he does.

A must read for all my fellow hopeless romantics! There is a sprinkle of BDSM, but it’s more of an afterthought really than anything else. So don’t let those four letters turn you off from this story, it is well worth the read.

And it’s free through the MM Romance Group’s Love Landscapes event. Did I mention it was steamy, and sexy?

Gay for Pay

(An All Cocks Story 01)
by

T.M. Smith

Christopher Allan Roberts thought he had a promising future. Captain of the football team with the promise of a scholarship to play for Alabama. His high school sweetheart and best friend for as long as he could remember Amanda by his side, and the love and support of his family. One night, one mistake changed everything. Chris moves to New York, adrift and alone. A walk one night brings him to the flashing lights, loud music and thrumming bodies at club Berlin. A flyer in the men’s room promises fame and fortune for anyone willing to go on camera and have sex, with another man. Money is money, and how hard could it be, right?

Linc Larson is All Cocks most requested, most versatile model. The openly bi-sexual gay porn star will do anything with anyone, which pretty much writes his ticket in a versatility charged industry. Lincoln Carter is honest with everyone in his life, including his family, about who he is and about his sexual preferences. It’s not his sexuality that interferes with his personal life though; it’s his inability to trust.

What Linc wants right now, more than anything, is the chance to do a scene with All Cocks newest acquisition, Kris Alen. Six foot two with Auburn hair, an exquisitely toned body and enough ink on his skin to put Crayola out of business, Kris Alen is sex personified. Linc doesn’t know if it’s the “I want the shiny new toy” aspect that calls to him, or the distant and wounded expression that haunts Kris’s eyes. It becomes painfully clear soon enough that Kris is straight and only working the gay for pay angle that All Cocks brings to his bank account.

Can a bi-sexual man with trust issues break down the barriers that Christopher has built around himself and help Kris come to terms with the painful past he is hiding from.

Gay for Pay is a gay for you story about two men that will have to come to terms with the mistakes they made in their past if they want to stick around and have a chance at a future.

Tentative release is mid to late June 2015

Review: This book was previously published with another publisher and has been extensively revised and expanded.

The first time I read this story was when it first came out quite some time ago, I was fascinated with Jack and Mason. I also got a kick out of Cooper, who had befriended Mason. This book has more added in and I have got to tell you that it has gotten even better. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Mason has been in love with Jack for over ten years. He did everything he could to get his brothers best friend to notice him. The problem was he was pretty sure Jack was straight. Jack always brought girls to the house so it was a fair guess. So after getting the call from the bar to pick up a drunk Jack, he gets a damn good night.

Too bad Jack freaked out and puked. Mason knew then that he had to get the hell away and forget Jack. After a four-day drunk spree, he meets Coop. Coop is the detective who was handling his being missing. He met a great friend, who with his help decided to show Jack what he was missing.

Jack had made a promise to his best friend eight years ago, to stay away from Mason sexually. He has loved Mason for that long, although he did not know it was love. He should have never listened to Randy nor should he have made that stupid promise.

There was no way in hell that he could get Mason to forgive him. Then he walks in to Coop and Mason kissing. Now he has to show that he is the man for Mason. Too bad Mason has a crazy stalker trying to take him away. Now they had to protect Mason from this man.

I have always loved Stormy’s books. The characters are well written with a lot of heart and strength. I loved this one and cannot wait to get my hands on the next story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more.

I would recommend reading this story especially if you love strong men, hot sex, action and suspense, true love and danger.

Review: Victor takes a vacation and meets Rayne. I loved the attraction between these two as they set the pages on fire with they’re intensity for one another. Rayne seemed to be just what Victor needed to ease his panic attacks. Rayne’s family was lively and friendly.

The details were well researched and written. This was a great book to read with plenty of twists to keep the reader intrigued as to where the story headed.

Definitely a book worth reading and highly recommended.

Blurb: Five dead leaders, their bodies arranged in a pentagram. Treason, lies, and backstabbing. A make-believe affair that turns into a real mating.

Timothy Sands is a PBI counselor, half-fey, half-elf, with a secret crush on Herman Weiss, PBI director. As a new chapter is added to the Leader Murders, it is Weiss’s responsibility to investigate what seems an impossible-to-solve case. The other problem? Weiss is suffering from rages, and his only salvation lies in Tim’s emotional-grid-balancing skills. They only have to pretend to be a couple for Tim to use his talents, and he owes Weiss a big favor. Piece of cake, right?

The fey might be involved in the Leader Murders. Someone on the Council might be their ally, and another prominent PBI figure looks more and more suspicious as they investigate. The stakes are upped when Timothy’s father, the Fey King, threatens to leave the Council destitute if they don’t hand Timothy over to him. Weiss’s brilliant solution? Mating Timothy and forcing the Council into protecting him.

There’s only one small hitch in that plan: instead of protecting one, the Council might decide to get rid of two.

Review: I suggest people read book 1 in this series before reading book 2 as certain things are explained better in book 1 and that are glanced over in book 2.

With that being said I really enjoyed this story but felt it lacking in details about the investigation. Weiss, Alpha wolf who has a temper and seems out of control at times, and Tim, half fey and half elf, is a PBA counselor and has a secret crush on Weiss.

I really liked the chemistry between Weiss and Tim once Tim gets closer instead of admiring Weiss from a distance as he had been doing for years. Of course, there is tension at times, but that was to be expected. Saving Weiss from being terminated in pretending to be his lover was no hardship for Tom.

The dialogue throughout the book was well written and draws the reader in to find out what happens. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this second book in the series and hope there will be more.

Good and intriguing read.

Review: This is the second book In His Arena series. Alession is back again to try to cause chaos to appease his crazy empress’ boredom. Personally I don’t like either one of them and am surprised they weren’t killed or injured in the first book.

Titian is secutor who dreams of being dominant instead of being forced into a submissive pair. Galadros yearns for a more dominant partner even though he is the one who is supposed to be. When circumstances and meddling take Titian and Galadros’ partners away they are forced by an Ebon bound, Alession’s slavecraft magic, to become a pair.

Some of the story was a little confusing to me. The arena scenes were often times bloody and violent as is expected with this type of series. But I found it added to the story rather than take away from it.

Good and entertaining.

With Luke missing, Cayce ventures into the woods near their house to find his son, only to have lightning strike a tree near him, sending a branch down on his head.

Review: Cayce D’Amico is a struggling single father, working at the local diner just to make ends meet, his life revolves around his son. When Luke wanders off one day during a storm, Cayce gets hurt when he goes looking for him and winds up in the hospital. In the aftermath, Cayce starts to notice strange things he is able to do. He can hear other people’s thoughts, and he’s having visions of missing girls.

Dave Newton is an aging reporter, a borderline alcoholic that has pretty much given up on love and life. His heart was broken years ago when he followed his lover back to America only to be dumped just a few short years later. Now he’s a reporter and very intrigued by the single dad that seems to know a lot more about the missing teenage girls than an innocent man should.

When Cayce shares his secret with Dave, he expects the man to brush him off, but he has to tell someone. Shockingly, Dave believes him. And then Luke goes missing again, but this time, Luke is in real danger.

I was drawn into this story within the first five minutes, and my attention never waned. The story itself is riveting. Small town suburbia, young girls going missing, a good-looking, smooth talking man that preys on vulnerable girls, he is just evil personified.

The way the story played out was intense and emotional, jumping from the missing girls POV to the killer’s captive girlfriend and the mind of the man who knows everything, Cayce. It was very interesting to listen as he figured out exactly what it was he was seeing, and how he could use his gift to find the girls.

If you are looking for romance, you won’t find much of that here. There is the budding relationship between Cayce and Dave, but it’s minimalistic in the story. The focus is on the missing girls, the killer and his machinations and how Cayce plays into that madness. The suspense was dangerous. I was on the edge of my seat pretty much through the entire book. Very well written and woven together as the secrets and lies unfold and everything is left open and festering.

Narrated by Chad Tindale and I loved the voice he gave Cayce especially in the story. Like I said, he is a struggling single father, his kid is his life. As the story progresses and becomes more intense and dark, Cayce’s voice mirrors the emotions of the story. And that really makes sense since this gift he has since the accident is equal parts psychic and empath.

Then when Tindale was voicing the killer you could hear the honey dripping off the man, until he lost his cool, then you could totally tell he was fixing to lose it. Great narration from beginning to end, perfect tones and nuances for all the characters.

There was almost a Charles Manson feel to this book. The killer is deceptively attractive and plays that to his advantage. There is mystery, suspense, graphic violence, a lot of paranormal, a skoch of attraction and the undeniable love that a father has for his son. What lengths he won’t go to, to keep that kid safe.

Such a well written novel, I highly recommend to anyone that likes murder, mystery and suspense stories.

Review: Fast paced with betrayal, anger, and emotional scenes throughout. I think if Ulfric had been honest with Mael from the beginning they would have been a lot better off in the long run. Instead Mael ends up not trusting him throughout most of the book.

I didn’t understand the scene where Ulfric claims that Mael is the father of Ulfric’s son because he saved him as pup by pouring his energy into him. That confused me. It was a really good addition to the Havoc’s Crew series that I enjoyed and couldn’t put down from start to finish.

Good read.

Review: This is the second book in Blood series while I enjoyed reading the first book, the second was difficult to follow at times. I felt there was too much time travel going on. It confused me at times.

There is a lot going on in this book with Adrien traveling back in time to meet Nicholas at different stages in his life. As well as Adrien trying to come to grips with his inner demon. As with the first book this ends with a feeling there will be another in the series.

Despite the problems I had with reading this book I still felt that it was entertaining. If you liked the first book I’m sure you will like this one as well. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book and what changes might be made to further the readers enjoyment of this series.

Good read.
