Blurb: Jason Chase is in trouble. He was sold to the lottery by his own parents, and not the sort of lottery he wants to win, the sort where humans are handed over to dragons during mating season. If Jason tries to run, he will be branded a thief and thrown into prison, which, despite his best efforts, might actually happen.

Warrior dragons Draco and Phobos have been searching for their third for over fifty years. They can smell him in the building, and that smell is creating a lust so heavy they can hardly stand it. After tracking him down and finding him in a cell, they’re furious.

They nearly lost their third because of a screw up, and now their new mission is to fight off the heat inside of them long enough to convince Jason that they are there to protect him, and they will not allow anyone to hurt him so long as they are around.

Review: This is the first book in the Mating Season series.

Jason’s name was put into the lottery, by his parents, without his consent then forced to go where he meets Phobos and Draco his mate. He is afraid at first, because of the horror stories he’s heard about it.

I personally did not like Malloy, a lawyer who seemed to have a chip on his shoulder and had it out for Jason. The man gave me the creeps and I was glad someone put him in his place, so to speak. I really enjoyed this entire book, though some scenes were drawn out and others were too short.

There was some hot sex between Draco, Phobos and Jason that added spice to a well written story.

Looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book after the cliffhanger at the end of this one.

Review: Each book in the Bad Boy Assassin’s collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

This story came off a little smoother than the first two books. You have the futuristic and science fiction part of the story which is great, then she added in characters that you wouldn’t find in many stories. I love the fact that they will protect those they love, even though sometimes you just want to smack them upside the head. I did have a bit more fun with this book.

Race had met Tucker when he was in a bit of trouble. At the time he had not known that Tucker was wanted by many planets for basically being a scientist. For the last two months he had thought his father had killed the man he loved. Now he finds out different, and must go save his man.

Tucker is a powerful scientist and the rebels either want him dead or making their weapons. He has been in hiding for a couple of months but he missed his lover. He needed help getting to safety but when Race showed up he was shocked. However he knew their love was strong and he had a plan to keep them safe.

The problem with this book is that it feels rushed which takes away from the story a bit. It is better than the first two but there was so much to the story that could have made it flow easier and made the story just a bit better.

Over all though I had a blast with it and would recommend it.

Review: Each book in the Space Warrior’s collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across Sydney Lain a few months back and can honestly say that she has written probably one of my top favorite series to read. You have the futuristic and science fiction part of the story which is great, then she added in characters that you wouldn’t find in many stories. I love the fact that they will protect those they love, even though sometimes you just want to smack them upside the head.

Jace and his brother Jarred were not close in any sense. So much so that Jace hated Jarred. He hated him even more when his mate Yune always talks about his brother. Yune worked for Jarred for longer than he can remember. His mate had different colored hair every time he saw him, he talked more than anyone he could remember and he loved his brother. However Yune was his mate.

Yune had been dumped in a dumpster right after he was born. He had been taken in by a doctor until he was eight years old, when the old man died. Then he became a slave. His master had been cruel and had basically tortured him. On a night he escaped, he saved a man’s life. Jarred had saved him, sent him to school and basically became his father. Although in the eyes of all, he was still a slave.

Jace turned him on, but he was frightened. Things do not go as they expect but so much better. These two definitely don’t know how to communicate. I got a kick out of it all. However I wasn’t much for Jace, but after reading this story he became a favorite hero of mine. He might have taken the long way around. He proved that he would become a good mate.

This book gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more. I just wished that there were more to read, I absolutely hate having to wait for the next story. The only problem I had with it, was the fact that it ends too fast. I want more after he convinces him. I want to see how well they start acting towards each other. I loved this one and cannot wait for the next amazing story.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story.

It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. When Sydney puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also coincides with the Angel Pack Series.

One thing I really like about both series is that they are not just about one mating. The reader also gets snippets from the other established matings, as well as other characters who are not yet mated. I like being able to revisit with those already mated and get a sneak peak of future stories to come.

In this book the full truth is finally revealed about why Ryland did what he did with Jesse as a child. Phenex is able to also tell his side of things. I really enjoyed the story about Phenex and Ryland. It was about time they got back together.

I really felt for Ryland. He did what he thought was right with the information he had. Things worked out differently than he hoped, but not due to his fault. That didn’t mean he didn’t feel guilt. Phenex was in no better a spot. They were so mislead. It was good that they were finally able to clear the air and make things right between them.

This book was also showed the evolution of Jesse and Micah. It showed not only Jesse’s growth of power, but also their relationship.
I must say this book was full of hot sex scenes. Not just with Ryland and Phenex, but also Jesse and Micah. These couples are seriously smoking hot with a nice little amount of kink thrown in.

And DAMN, Malachi is one evil bastard, and turns out he is not working alone. Yup, there is another fucktard helping Malachi. I really cannot wait to see what happens to these two when they finally get their asses kicked. Plus there was another little surprise cameo.

I enjoyed this addition to the Angel Pack world and look forward to reading future books. I really want to know what happens with Crew especially.

Review: Each book in The Happily Ever After Mating Agency collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. However it can be read as a standalone.

I have read all of these stories and this one is my absolute favorite of them all. Henry is a cheetah shifter who had lost his entire pride. They were burned alive, but he had been spared. Scared and alone, he was lost. That is until a wolf shifter found him.

Will had known when he found Henry that there was something special about him. Then the council had decided that he needed to be with his own kind. Will had never forgotten him, and he was surprised to find Henry had not either. So he had decided to hook up with the mating agency to try to find him. Three years later and he got lucky. It seemed fate had decided they deserved to be with each other also.

It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Wow, this book had a lot of drama and angst going on. Matt’s history is rough to read about. He really did not have a good childhood at all. Because of that he has issues left over. Together he and Ingor have founds ways to deal with them. That includes a pretty much 24/7 BDSM relationship.

Things are going good for them up until Matt has a fall and suffers from a traumatic brain injury. That is when things start going seriously wacky. So much goes on and certain things happen that leave me confused and a little befuddled. Basically I was wondering how the hell these things even went down. Suffice to say I was pulled out of the book.

Things do finally get back on track with the relationship between Matt and Ingor. I really do like the relationship these two have. It is BDSM, but there is a great deal of love and caring to it.

I enjoyed a good part of the book. However the drama and angst with Matt’s past coming back to get him was a little much for me. It just did not feel needed with all the other things going on. It was also nice to see the other characters from the past two books show up and take part.

So overall it was an OK read and I still look forward to more in the series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

I really enjoyed this book. It was mostly fun and amusing to read.
Guy has such wicked sense of humor and hijinks. He gets into so much trouble with the things he does and just by opening his mouth.
Aric is cute and tends to be scared of his own shadow in the start. Honestly the way he deals with learning about the paranormal world is pretty funny. He has not had the best life, but he makes the most of it.

Bannock is the older more straight-laced type. He has been leading his tribe and raising his children. When finds out his has two mates he is not at first sure, but Guy and Aric definitely bring something to his life he was missing.

The three of them are very sexy and hot together. Their love scenes were on the burning side, just as I like them.

All three of them are completely different personality wise, but they manage to make it all work. And I love this series for that. The relationships are always interesting, the characters are a little wacky, and the sex is always hot.

I enjoyed this book a lot and look forward to more in the series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also this is a spin-off of the Blaecleah Brothers series and takes place in the same town with characters from that series showing up.

Artie has had a rough life. He has been on his own since he was fifteen years old. His mother is a drug addict, and his stepfather is abusive. He was safer on his own. At least until his stepfather used Artie as a means to pay off a drug debt. And that is how Artie winds up bound in a trunk. This is also how he meets Dorian.

Dorian is a good guy playing a bad guy. He has been undercover for years. When he sees Artie in the trunk he knows he cannot leave him there. So Dorian takes a chance and takes Arite. But there is something about Artie and Dorian cannot get him off his mind. Even if he knows it would be the best thing for Artie.

This book moved fast. There is an instant and intense attraction between Dorian and Artie. The sex is hot and steamy. This two have a definite rollercoaster ride to their happily ever after. There is drama, betrayal, violence, and overall love.

There was also a surprise visit from some old friends. I loved seeing the guys from the Special Operations series again.
Overall a fast paced and high-octane read.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

I enjoyed this book. I liked the two main characters Harley and Nathan. Both were interesting and worked well together. I liked how all the prior charterers keep making appearances, especially Jesse. So it was a likable book because the characters were all good.

However, throughout I felt rushed. Everything happens between Nathan and Harley so damn fast my head spun. There were a few moments of what the hell for me. So although I liked the two men, I just did not like the pacing of the book.

Plus there were issues with some of the storyline that just made it seem a little off. Like with Nathan’s sister and the whole drama there, and what happened at the end with her. I just didn’t see or feel the need for it and it kind of messed up the story for me a bit.

So overall a decent read with a few too many extras thrown in and not enough time with the main characters.

Review: This is the first story by this author that I have read and I had a blast with it. The only thing that I had issues with was the fact that it started out great, but midway through it, it came off like it was finished in a rush. The ending was sweet, but a bit off to me.

Jared and Gavin went to school together. Gavin always stood up for those who got bullied by others. Jared was one of those kids that he stood up for. Jared had always had a crush on him, so he couldn’t wait to see him when Gavin came home. Gavin had decided to not only have a book signing for his latest book but to come back to live in his home town. When Jared walked in to get his book signed, he knew he had to show him how he really felt.

There is a bit of trouble that makes this story even better. I always loved a good rift in a story that makes it stand out more. It just pops out to me. I liked how Gavin stood up for Jared even now with the homophobic bullies. It just shows him in the perfect light.

Now even though these two have went to school together, it comes off like they are brand new, but they are showing each other what they feel for each other.

I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by this author.

The title of the book says it all. Carson and Ryan have been appearing in this series for a while as children and young teenagers. I always suspected they would tune out to be mates. I didn’t expect it happen the way it did, but I did enjoy their story. And I loved Riley, just so damn adorable.

This was a good fast paced book. I did kind of wish Carson made Ryan suffer a little more. But Carson is really too nice a guy to do that. Even if Ryan did deserve it. And let me say Carson and Ryan together are very sexy and just a little kinky.

I do like this series and this addition to it was long due in coming. I enjoyed this little read and look forward to more.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
This book was not really the same as the others. There was no instant love in this mating. There was a lot of hurt feeling really in the first half of it. Carter’s hurtful and cold words to Abner when they first met has caused a ripple effect in their mating. Now Abner is the cold and hurtful one.

So for the first half of the book I was leaning toward pissed off at both Carter and Abner. Instead of talking the two of them just kept hurting each other. Both in the way they talked and the type of sex they had.

I think the second half of the book was much better. More is discovered about the “coming”. The intrigue is getting deeper also as those inside the council turn to the dark and try to destroy those that make the rules.

Once Carter and Abner get their shit together things are definitely better. The sex improves and they are actually talking and learning about each other. But yeah the first part of the book left me very unsatisfied.

This book just left me feeling a little blah. The writing was good, things moved at a good pace. But the beginning just kind of ruined it for me even when things improved between Carter and Abner.

Review: Each book in the Peyton City collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Now this is the fourth book in this series and I must admit there is quite a bit of confusion at first and darkness that doesn’t work well. It has a mixture of actions that makes it a bit hard to follow. There are so many characters. That also makes it a bit hard. I am never sure of who is good and who is bad. Nor do I truly understand where they are headed.

Now that doesn’t last throughout the whole book but is questionable all the way around. However with all of that, I can tell you that it doesn’t take away from my having a blast with this book.
Voss is basically the alpha of two prides that I can tell and there is a war going on. He is surprised by a sexy panther that shows up and turns out to be his mate. All he is trying to do is to keep his people safe and now he is trying to keep his little mate safe. Boy is he in for a big surprise.

Colby is an assassin and works for the lions. However he is not a lion and is holding back a lot of truths. He is in fact a snow panther and works undercover for the Order. He is trying to stop the war and the toxins that will kill them all. What he can’t figure out is why he is so damn attracted to Voss but he knows he will do everything he can to keep him safe.

It is a damn good story, but to truly follow it you have to start with the first book. Even having read it I was a bit lost because it had been a few weeks since I had read the last book. However I had a blast reading it and look forward to the next book. It gave me almost everything I could want in a story. And it might have been dark and a bit confusing but I could not take my eyes off of the story. I had fun reading it.

That’s the motto the agents of the Federal Paranormal Agency live by. They train hard to hunt down those that go rogue, enforcing the laws set down through the ages. They deliver justice to those that break the laws and save the innocent. They are the enforcers of the paranormal world.

Reed Dolur is a private man. As a white tiger shifter and an agent with the FPA, Reed likes to keep his personal life separate from his professional persona. When he’s off the clock, Reed spends time at Leather Men, a local BDSM club. One night Reed goes out looking for a rough scene and meets a mysterious man. After an intense scene, Reed wakes up alone, his body carrying the marks of his Dom and the scent of his mate hanging in the air.

Graham Bingham was a FPA agent, living and working in Los Angeles, California. When dead men start turning up around the city, Graham soon realizes that he’s tied to each of the victims. Their bodies bear his marks, but he’s not responsible. Someone is mimicking him, killing innocent men, and pointing the evidence in his direction. Review: Each book in the Federal Paranormal Agency collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. There is something about the way that Olivia Black tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time but it will have you in tears at some part.

Olivia has always been one of my favorite authors. There is just something about her characters, story and the way they mix with each other. With these stories it gives you a mate that has at some point been hurt. The alpha of the pair feels so much for his mate, he will do everything to protect his mate and keep him safe.

The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives. I had a blast reading this story. This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break. There is a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a lot of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

As you know by reading this, the agency has this motto that they live by. They deliver justice to those that break the laws and save the innocents. The problem is when an innocent thinks that one of the guys is the killer and sets to seek his justice. Graham was an amazing agent and loved what he did. He is also a big time Dominate and for a lion I would think he was anyway. He has a great big heart and cares for those around him. So when some of the guys he had been with were killed and marked the way he had marked them, he knew he had to catch the guy. He left the agency and set out to find him.

What he finds instead is his mate.

Reed is a tiger shifter who one would think is a Dominate but he is a sub. He loves pain, especially when he can feel it for days later. Which for a shifter is not how it is done, they usually heal pretty dang fast. He takes one look at Graham and realizes he has found the Dom he needed. Then he finds out that the sexy man is his mate and that he is in danger. Someone has it out for him in a big way.

It is up to them all to find out who is behind the killings and to keep their men safe. Now with this story I felt bad for the killer. I won’t say why because you need to find out on your own. It is a great story with a little bit of surprise in it. Usually I get caught up in a story but this one just pulls at me more than normal. Which for a paranormal is kind of strange. There is this hint of darkness in it that had me guessing, but it didn’t last too long. I had a blast with this book.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: You are purchasing Siren’s newest imprint, the Siren Epic Romance collection. This is Book 1 of 7 in the Chronicles of the Shifter Directive series. The series shares an overall story arc with many crossover characters playing major roles in each book. These books are not stand-alone and should be read in their numbered order.

If there was a way to give a book higher marks than I would have made this one on the scale of six in heart ratings. This story was so different in many of the ways paranormals are written. You read many stories about werewolves and vampires being killed by humans and this is not the case.

It is bad enough when you’re a paranormal and all the others are trying to kill you or destroy you. However when it is your own family, they are in definite need of help. Several hundred years ago the originals were born. Talrasar and Kaelezrin were mates. Tali was a Fae and Kael was a black dragon. A black dragon was considered pretty much bad news. They consumed all energies from everyone around them.

However Tali was never afraid of him. Even when the war going on around them involving the wolves and vampires, plus the plague going on around them. The only way to save everyone was for Kael to take Tali’s energy from him and destroy it all. The problem was it killed them both. They had committed suicide to save those around them.

Now with the dangers that everyone is having, and Sari’s brother trying to kill him, it is time for them to come back. They save Sari’s baby and those around them, but it does cause some problems. It is a bit hard to understand how two dead can come back to life. The dangers are coming out of the woodwork and now they all have to find out who the traitor is, destroy those who are trying to kill them and save themselves while they are at it.

I must admit that even though I loved this book, there was so much description that parts are a bit harder to follow. It didn’t affect me too bad though, I couldn’t stop reading it. It gave me everything I could possibly want in a story if not more. I love the different paranormals that are in these books.

I was not so sure about the woman with all the snakes in her hair though. She sounded quite freaky but it was a blast to read. I love how there is so much danger, and you can tell that each character loves the other, but they have to fight for their love. I loved this book and look forward to reading the next book.

I would recommend reading this book. It gives you gorgeous men, dragon shifters, Fae, excitement, suspense, action, twists, some hot sex, and lots of danger.

Trust me you have got to read this book.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
I have to say I think this one has been my favorite in this series so far. There is just something so heartbreaking about Flynn’s circumstances that drew me to him. He has been suffering since his twin sister death years ago. Something that was never his fault, but his parents made sure he felt was his. Now he is supporting his mentally ill mother and younger sister.

I found myself completely cheering on Jax as he made Flynn his. Flynn so deserved someone who would look out for his best interests and take care of him. Not to say Flynn was weak because honestly he was not. To have been able to function and do what he needed for long takes a strong person.

Jax was the perfect partner for the type of man Flynn is. Jax was able to get Flynn out of his shell and really open up to life. He was able to make Flynn stronger and accept what happened, and also what he needed to do. Flynn literally blossomed under Jax.

This was well written and moved at a steady pace. It was a sweet read that was heartwarming in the simplicity of how the two men are drawn together and make a life for themselves. Plus the hot sex didn’t hurt anything.

I enjoyed this lovely story.

Blurb: Sam Turner is still getting used to the fact that werewolves exist, and he’s not sure he likes it. When Alain Lake, a man who has been making eyes at him more than Sam is comfortable with, is forced to subdue him, he’s pissed off. The whole thing scared the hell out of him, even if Alain had a good reason, being a stupidly strong, gorgeous werewolf and all.

But Alain, though he might be a werewolf, has all the desires and needs of a man, and he makes them known again and again, apologizing for dragging Sam into this whole mess, and then pressing him up against the wall and kissing him senseless. Sam, despite thinking of himself as being a girl-liking guy, cannot deny how good that kiss felt, but he’s not ready.

That’s all right, because Alain is willing to fight for what’s his, and defend his mate from those who would do him harm.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Poor Sam, learning about the werewolves the way he did sure knocked him through a loop. He is still trying to come to turns with it all. However there is the issue of Alain who keeps coming onto Sam. The biggest problem for Sam about that is he is straight, or so he thought.

This book was pretty funny in how Sam had to come to terms with the fact that he was in fact attracted to Alain. He is annoyed and yet turned on, and so confused. I liked how Alain wore him down.
It’s not until something happens that finally Sam faces the facts and accepts Alain and all that entails. Then things turn downright hot and sexy between the two of them.

I am enjoying this series. It is nothing really new, but they are fun and sexy reads. And that is what I am looking for from them. So these books are delivering.

I got to love how Macy Jacks keeps ending each book in the series on a cliffhanger. Because really it just makes me want to find out what will happen next.

Review: Each book in the Space Warrior’s collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Caleb has one little problem, he can’t read people like he should. It was the one reason that he was not being promoted. However now was not the time to think about it, he was sent in to figure out why people missing. What he had not expected was to find a cute little thief whose butt was in trouble. The guy always seemed to be in trouble, but now the cutie came with two little trouble makers.

Laird had watched a man kill his father and found out that it was for drugs. Then all he did was run instead of help. The thing was he had only been twelve. He always ran from danger. That is until he found himself with Ren and Key. He would do everything to protect them. They were special and the markings on their skin showed cat shifter.

Now he had this gorgeous warrior saying that he was his mate and that it was his job to protect him. Didn’t the man know he could protect himself? Obviously not, cause the man figured out how to read him. Damn he couldn’t get away with anything now. He did come to the conclusion that he wanted Caleb just as much as Caleb wanted him.

The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their love ones with their entire lives. I love the paranormal tone and the little bit of twists that come with it.

I can’t wait to read the next story. When Sydney puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: This is the first book of Jenny’s that I have read and I was impressed with parts of it. However overall, the story lacked something to pull the whole story together. It was most difficult to get into completely, or follow what is happening. It has a lot of mystical aspect put into it that was hard to figure out.

I think it will make a good story but to do so it would have to be redone with some stuff added in that will give you an idea of who is who and what they are doing. It went from one person going on a hunt, then the next it goes to the other guy. However it was missing the connection that makes it easier to see that.

Tucker has waited some time to find his mate, but he knew he needed to look. So he goes in search and finds the man made for him. Malcolm however finds a wolf, gets bitten and ends up in a strange place that involves an owl. That owl sure does get some bad reactions out of the residents. There is some hot sex between them, but overall this book needs some serious redoing.

When I choose it to read, I had taken one look at the blurb and thought it sounded good. It comes off fast paced, like the writer was rushed. It goes from Tucker going to search for his mate, to Malcolm getting bitten and then farther on. It was not my idea of a story that I would want to read again. I was quite disappointed in it.

When I first started reading, it sounded reasonably good but then it lost my attention to fast. I will wait for book two to see if they do get better. Otherwise I am not sure if this series is for me.

Review: His Majesty, King Ferdinand Augustus Maxos III, and his six four Knaves, Jayde, Sol, Raven, Ingigo, Shimmer, and Ochre all dragon shifters, escape after a ruthless enemy takes everything from Max to another world to regroup and strategize their next move to take back what rightfully belongs to Max. Max, even though he is saddened by the traitor, he was still strong and sure, I liked that.

I truly loved this wonderfully written story. The details of Agion were simply breathtaking. The creatures described there were exotic and immense compared to the others.

I loved how Alpha Myre, a gigantic feline shifter, welcomed them in his clan despite the danger to his people. Thyrus, the man who is the reason for Max’s lose, I can’t stand. He seems power-hungry, bloodthirsty, sadistic and will stop at nothing to gain what he wants even murder.

Fascinating with a lot of hot sex between Max and his dragon Knaves along with an awesome plot and battles made this story a fantastic read that keeps the reader’s attention from start to finish with the right amount of danger, suspense and love.

Absolutely loved it and highly recommend it…
