Blurb: When Joseph and Samuel Lake spot their mate while running through the woods, they know they can’t leave without him. They have been looking for him their entire lives, but convincing the gorgeous man that they want him was turning out to be a lot harder than finding him.

Matthew Brooks knows he isn’t the world’s best catch. He’s a little more plump than he’d like and has a very boring life as a paralegal. Finding two men that seem interested in him at the same time thrusts him firmly into fantasy land.

When someone starts coming after Matt, getting him to Pacific Cove seems like the safest idea, but to do that, they will have to explain to the man about bear shifters and mates and all that entails…and that might cause them to lose their mate faster than an assassin’s bullet.

Review: Each book in the Pacific Cove collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Matt goes camping with two of his friends, one of which is a total ass. He is shocked to find two gorgeous twins there and he wants to know more about them. However he is more shocked when someone is trying to kill them.

Joe and Sam are bear shifters and twins, so they knew they would share a mate. It would seem that if a single birth is they are human, but twins are always bears. They are shocked that their mate knows about shifters, and even more that he learned about them from romance stories. Boy did they have to start reading them. Now all they have to do is to keep him safe and to tell him about how he can get pregnant. That might have been more shocking to Matt then the actual shifting into bears.

This was amazing and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next story. I loved how tender they both are with him and how kinky they really are. I just wished there had been some brother loving in the book. Also I want the dads to have another mate, they deserve to be happy also.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.

When Stormy puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Review: This is the tenth book in the Rogue Wolfhounds series. Each book delves deeper into the lives of the wolfhounds and offers a better understanding of them.

Neal, a former hunter and human, and Hyde, an alpha wolfhound, are mates. I really liked how they both helped the other. Hyde helped Neal see what his ignorance was doing to him and Neal helped Hyde realize that yes he could be loved despite his appearance.

A lot is going on in this book from Dean missing and well as what happened to Joey. But the biggest mystery is the individual being held against their will. That has me curious as I think I know who it is.
I love the way this series is going as well as the drama, action, adventure and the twists and turns that are in each fantastic book.

This book will have you on the edge on your seat and grabs your attention from start to finish.

I loved it.

Highly recommended.

Review: This is the ninth book in the Rogue Wolfhounds series.

Oh my god what a book. From the start you are on the edge of your seat as this is fast, action packed, and emotional story that packs a punch as many things are going on

Emery and Griffin stand together when things go wrong and Emery is suspected. I loved how Griffin stood up for Emery in the face of his pack. One of the couples I love in this series is also in this book and though I was happy about that I was also bawling my eyes out at what happened to them. I actually screamed no, that’s not fair.

From keeping their mates safe from humans invading their territory to taking one prisoner and finding out information on the other hunters to Dean and Joey getting in the situation they found themselves in I couldn’t put the book down until the very end. I was horrified at what these humans are capable of in their prejudice.

I love this series. It has everything you could want in a fantastic read. Romance, action, suspense, drama, and a lot of emotions.

Highly recommended. But read the books in order as most continue from the previous book.

Review: Each book in the Brac Pack Next Gen collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

This is also branched off from her previous series. These are the children of the original men so if you want the full effect start off with Brac Pack, Brac Village, Zeus’s Pack, Christian’s Coven, and so on. You will see the fathers in the serious at some point, or at least that is what I have seen in these two stories so far.

I love the way Lynn Hagen can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Lynn. My attention was caught with the first sentence and I just couldn’t put the book down. This is one of those types that even after you have read the whole book you just want to go back and read it again.

There is a lot of action, danger, suspense and a bit of kink in this book. I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is so much humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I think my favorite is the fact that Taylor shifts into this cute little bunny.
Taylor is a very cute little bunny shifter whose ass is about to get fried. He was supposed to do one thing and ended up getting mixed up with a drug bust. To save his cute little ass he was going to turn states evidence. He was brought to Dalton Falls. A town that is known to have the paranormal.

He had not expected to find his mate or the trouble he is in. His mate has some problems of his own.

Nevada was tired of about everything. His boyfriend turned out to be nothing more than a whore so he has decided to join his family in Dalton Falls. He has made the decision not to trust anyone nor fall for any cute little ass he sees.

Too bad that went out the window when he finds out that Taylor is his mate. Then the secrets just got in the way, can Nevada give up his hatred for lying to except his mate or not. Not to mention keeping his mate from getting killed at the same time. Things were about to change.

It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Lynn puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: Dare was born as a human, but when he shifted into his wolf he was a beautiful white wolf. He had no brand saying what pack he belonged to although in his defense he had no memory of a pack. He had always taken care of himself as a lone wolf would. The dangers out there for lone wolves were a feared danger.

The Rule wanted them captured and then sold off as slaves. So when he was captured he feared what would happen, then a sexy alpha saved his life.

Rage had been wanting a mate, he just had not wanted his lover to be it. So when he went to the auction, he realized that he has found the man for him. Then the surprise hit them all, Dare was a rare type of wolf that would become pregnant. I would say more of a shock for Dare.

This story takes on a different story line that was not bad. A different world where werewolves were magical and had different type of lives than many books you’ve read. It was not perfect but it was a great story. Although I have to say that the book ended wrong however. It seems like there is a cliff hanger there even though I believe there is not. It suggests that maybe the author will turn it into a series, for which I wished she would.

It has a serious tone to it and very little humor which was not a plus for me. there is also the dark tone to it that usually drives me nuts. The story is a paranormal but it comes off a bit strange. It had a contemporary feel to it and a type of historical one also.

It comes off rushed and a bit messed up. It was lacking in certain aspects of the story that would have made the story more appealing to me. It also comes off very loose and sloppy to me. Other than those little problems, I actually enjoyed myself quite a bit. I loved the guys but they need something more to make them stand out also.

Overall this was a fun read and I would love to read another story by this author. I would recommend this fun, fast and slightly different type of story.

Review: This book was previously published with another publisher and has been extensively revised and expanded.

The first time I read this story was when it first came out quite some time ago, I was fascinated with Jack and Mason. I also got a kick out of Cooper, who had befriended Mason. This book has more added in and I have got to tell you that it has gotten even better. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Mason has been in love with Jack for over ten years. He did everything he could to get his brothers best friend to notice him. The problem was he was pretty sure Jack was straight. Jack always brought girls to the house so it was a fair guess. So after getting the call from the bar to pick up a drunk Jack, he gets a damn good night.

Too bad Jack freaked out and puked. Mason knew then that he had to get the hell away and forget Jack. After a four-day drunk spree, he meets Coop. Coop is the detective who was handling his being missing. He met a great friend, who with his help decided to show Jack what he was missing.

Jack had made a promise to his best friend eight years ago, to stay away from Mason sexually. He has loved Mason for that long, although he did not know it was love. He should have never listened to Randy nor should he have made that stupid promise.

There was no way in hell that he could get Mason to forgive him. Then he walks in to Coop and Mason kissing. Now he has to show that he is the man for Mason. Too bad Mason has a crazy stalker trying to take him away. Now they had to protect Mason from this man.

I have always loved Stormy’s books. The characters are well written with a lot of heart and strength. I loved this one and cannot wait to get my hands on the next story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more.

I would recommend reading this story especially if you love strong men, hot sex, action and suspense, true love and danger.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Timmy and his brother Wyatt have been in hiding for fifteen years since their flock was murdered. As their mother was a seer, she knew what was coming and hides them to project them during the attack. As Timmy is blind, his other senses have been enhanced.

One day during breakfast, Timmy hears two men talking about looking for a griffin. Timmy should have wanted to run, but something about one of the voices makes him hesitate.

Hephaestus was thrown out of Olympus by his mother Hera when he was born because she thought he was ugly and unperfect. Because he was so young, he did not heal correctly from the damage of when he landed in the water. He was rescued by the sea-nymph Thetis and raised with love. However even though the only thing wrong with him is a limp, he sees himself as his mother did and has low self-esteem.

When the two men meet, the pull of being mates is strong. They each have found the perfect match they need. Heph has someone who looks do not matter to, and Timmy has someone who sees him as an amazing and wonderful gift. This two were really sweet and I loved them. They each have issues but work them out together in between trying to figure out what Hera and Aries are up to now.

I really liked this addition to the series. Heph and Timmy are really pretty damn hot together. Also, they fit very well with each other. Both have had a lot of heartache and rejection in their lives that they understand each other. As the secrets of what Hera and Aries have done, they and their friends found ways to be strong and protect one another as they work to defeat the plans in motion.

I have to say I love the mates that the gods have been given. It makes no difference to them that they have mated to gods. They still find ways of getting their way. Which leads to some really funny moments. The only issue I really had was that there were some editing errors, like names in the wrong place that kind of distracted me from the story. But other than those, I really did enjoy the book.

Each book the intrigue and betrayal Hera and Aries have gone through to get what they want gets deeper and deeper. These two so need to get their asses kicked for all the deaths and pain they have caused. I can’t wait until that happens. So I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Review: Each book in Dark Riders collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way Lynn can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Lynn.

Jake’s life has been hell for so long that he has given up. His mother didn’t give a damn about him and his stepfather beat the crap out of him daily. Well he and his two friends did. When he had been younger he had been caught with another boy and his life had been a living hell ever since. That was how he met Emilio. Emilio had saved him from a beating. He worked at Andromeda ever since he started hanging out there.

Emilio had taken one look at Jake and wanted him. The problem was Emilio had a past and didn’t want Jake to have to deal with that and the fact that he was a wolf. He kept an eye out for him and over him, but this one time he was almost too late. Jake had overdosed on some drugs at the club and Emilio found him. He had to even give him CPR to revive him. Emilio knew he would have to take steps farther with the man he was falling in love with.

Now Jake was hunted by not only his stepfather, darlings, the Blood Hearts, and striker. He was in some serious crap now, and he had to learn to trust the one man made for him. This story was amazing, although when it comes from Lynn I can guarantee that it will be. I loved it and look forward to the next story in this series. I couldn’t take my eyes off this story till the very end. It gave me everything I could possibly want in a story. I loved it.

I would recommend reading this, especially if you love gorgeous men, angst and pain, excitement, passion and fire, hot sex and dangerous situations. Not to mention men that turn into wolves.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

It has been four years since Samuel was rescued from the New Orleans shifter brothel. Samuel is slowly coming to terms about what happened to him there. But he is still working on it, and the nightmares do not always leave him alone. Things come to a head when he realizes his student loans have been completely paid off, and not by his brother. This leads Samuel on a trip to the place that everything started.

CJ never knew what his father was doing until they found Samuel in a brothel. He has spent the past four years bettering himself so that when he gets the chance he can be a deserving mate for Samuel. When Samuel shows up at his cabin, he is not sure what to expect at first. But things go better than they both expect.

I liked this addition to the series. After everything that had been done to Samuel, he deserved a happy ending and a loving mate. This was an easy read, no major drama or conflicts. It was nice to just read about two men finding and accepting each other. With hot sex and some cute moments in the mix, it was a good read.

I look forward to more in this series.

Before Granite County Medical Examiner Job Nicolson could come to terms with his fears of kinky dominating sex, Dean took up with fascinating Creed. When he heard about them being kidnapped and hurt, he heads to the hospital to take a chance and care for both of them.

For care to turn into love for these three, Dean and Creed have to first recover from the extreme torture they endured, and let Job into their hearts. Not to mention gun-welding assassins, stalkers, an election, and finding a place to live that accommodates all their jobs.

Review: This is part of the Granite County series and they need to be read in order. Each story is about a new romantic couple.

The only thing better than two men in love is three men in love. Talk about a hot and tempting story. Bellann has an amazing way of giving you a story that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, biting your lip, bouncing and turned the hell on. I love the way you can just feel the heat and love that these men have for each other.

Job wanted to be with Dean. However, he had fears of the control, bondage, and sexual desires that the sexy man wants from him. He feared what his family would say if they found out. He knew when he told Dean off and said some nasty stuff to him that he would have to kiss ass. He also knew that Dean had turned to Creed afterwards. He was also turned the hell on by Creed. Now his mind was definitely reeling from it all.

Dean was hurt by Job’s words and when he needed someone to comfort him, he turned to Creed. He found himself falling for the gorgeous man, but missed Job. Then after a night of hot sex Creed and Dean found themselves captured and tortured. When he woke up after they were rescued, he found Job tending to them. He wasn’t too sure what was to happen, but when Job told them both that he wanted what Dean had suggested and that he also wanted Creed they had many things to talk about.

Now all they have to do is to capture the ones that wanted them dead and keep each other safe. It has more of a serious tone to it, but there is just a hint of humor in it. The sex between them is spicy, kinky, possessive, and extremely hot. This series is actually branched off of Rescue For Hire series. I would suggest starting with that series. It will tell you more about each character that will appear in each story and keep you from getting confused or frustrated. And let me tell you that each story is just as hot as the others.

I had a blast reading this amazing story and look forward to reading many more books by this author. It is a fascinating story that will have you wanting to hear more. You can tell when an author puts her heart into what she is writing and this is one of them. The amount of danger that these men go through has your breath catching and hoping for the best. It gave me all that I could possibly want in a story and so much more. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

In fact when it comes to Bellann’s books I am always sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one to come out. Anticipation is part of my book world it would seem.

I would recommend reading this book. It will give you gorgeous men with guns, sexy little doctors, excitement, suspense, action, hot sex, and dangerous situations. Trust me you will love reading this book.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also this is a spin-off of the Blaecleah Brothers series and takes place in the same town with characters from that series showing up.

First a warning to readers. The first part of the story can be hard to take. The publishers note listed above is not for the faint of heart. But once you make it through Happy’s younger years it becomes absolutely amazing to read.

Happy and his mother have a very hard life. Happy’s mother was a young fifteen year old girl who was taken advantage of and became pregnant with Happy. Her parents were super religious and punished both their daughter and her son. I’m talking real Hell and Brimstone kind of shit. Mother and son finally get out of the hellish situation when Happy is seventeen. His grandfather takes things too far and Happy saves both himself and his mother.

Due to a beating Happy took at a young age he is a bit slower than normal, but far from stupid. Once things are explained or shown to him he understand perfectly well. He is also the sweetest most loving man. He loves his mother with all his heart. Since their escape from their grandfather and with help from locals he has been able to take of his mother and himself. While working at a local business he is bullied by a couple of guys and the police are called in to the disturbance.

Here is where Happy meets his future.

Marc is a deputy who responds to the disturbance. He is immediately attracted to the bigger than life Happy. He quickly learns that Happy is a gentle giant and wants to get to know him better. Marc does not look down on Happy for his slowness or not understanding of everything. He is patient and understanding, and has no problem explaining things. He also knows that Happy is a package deal with his mother and has no problem with that. Marc will do anything for Happy and that is what Happy deserves in a true partner.

Marc and Happy are beautiful together and I loved them.

This book roped me in from the start and gave me all I wanted. It had loving partners, excitement, action, and hot sexy moments. This will definitely be added to my re-read collection of books.

Blurb: John has been brought back to life, not as an angel, but as a helpless mortal. To make matters worse, because of this new mortal state, and the fact that he had been socializing with demons, he now has some demon blood within him, making him a candidate for one of the fabled generals capable of bringing down Heaven itself.

Kale Oak had to watch his commander die once, and he has no intention of allowing that to happen again, or to let the demons take him, not after they finally confessed their love to each other. Now John is being stubborn, however, and is pulling away from Kale, ashamed of the things he had been forced to do while he was a demon’s servant.

Kale is not willing to give up on them, and they must both find a way to bring out John’s new holy power before another former angel takes her revenge on them both.

Review: John is human now. But what he doesn’t expect if for Kale to appoint himself as John’s guardian angel. What is even more shocking that Anabel asks them for immunity and tells them who next general is: John? She explains that he has demon in him from when he was with her. So now, everyone gathers once again to protect him from the demons.

Very well written story. With plenty of action, twists and turns throughout the whole story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Kale and John’s adventure.
The only thing I’m sad about is that there are no more in this series. I sincerely hope there will be one day, as I’d love to know more about Samael as well as the council members and the other angels. Fantastic book. Highly recommended.

Review: This was an intriguing story and was quite surprised by it. I wasn’t really sure if I loved it though. It doesn’t have the same zing as all of Lynn’s other stories have had. It was quite refreshing, but I wasn’t so sure what to think about it. It was a blast to read though. The thing that caught my attention was that it didn’t really have the humor that the other stories really had. It had more of a serious tone to it, which had me off kilter.

Justin is a cute twenty year old that was raised in foster care homes and then pretty much spent most of his time at his best friend’s house. He spent most of his life sick and not able to do many things. Although his best friend Caleb had a part of the times when trouble found them.

He has been in love with Caleb’s father for a long time, but didn’t think Caleb knew that Justin was even gay. He had not planned on letting him know any time soon. Caleb was his one and only best friend and he didn’t want to lose him. When strange things started happening, it was Caleb’s father that brought him in.

Demetri had not really known what Justin’s feelings were for him. All he knew was Justin was his mate. He knew things were getting out of control with his wolves, the rogues, the vampires, and his own family. However, he planned on protecting his mistress or in most cases known as mate. Then when he figured out what was really wrong with Justin and who Justin’s real father was things would heat up real fast.

These two getting together is extremely hot, but a bit off. I don’t know what it really is, but there was something missing in this story. However, I did love the story. It just didn’t make it to my favorite’s list. I do hope that this is the start to a series though because I think once it gets started it will make the book come out in a different light.

I didn’t much care for the way Demetri and his son acted around each other. It might have been part of the reason for not truly loving this story like most of Lynn’s books. It does give you sexy men, powerful vampires and werewolves, hot sex, danger, excitement and a lot of surprises. It has many twists and turns to this story that made it a fascinating story. I would definitely recommend reading it.

When he meets Alpha Talon Ramirez, who happens to be his mate, he’s overjoyed the man doesn’t grumble about his voice, which others compare to an animal dying.

Talon Ramirez thinks his mate’s off-key singing is adorable. He especially likes the way Gibson loses himself to the music while shaking his ass and singing his heart out while cooking the best food Talon has ever tasted. Now he just needs to find a way to keep his mate safe while the rebels plan an attack against Juarez that will devastate the city.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also is a spin-off from the Stone Haven series with recurring characters.

Gibson is great. He is a chef taught from a young age how to cook by his father. When he needs a new job because his former boss couldn’t take no for an answer, he takes on the job as the new chef or the Alpha of the Latin Territory. As soon as he steps in the door of the Alpha’s home, the fun starts as Alpha Talon turns out to be his mate.

Talon has been living with guilt since he had to kill his own brother as a traitor to the Alliance. When his new chef shows up, he finally has something good in his life, even if he doesn’t think he deserves Gibson at first. But things are not easy for this mating or for the current situation with enemies trying to take Talon and his new mate out of the picture. It doesn’t help matters when Talon can’t control his own aggression and jealously about anyone getting close to Gibson.

I loved Gibson. He may be a ferret, but he doesn’t let people push him around including his mate Talon. I really loved his way of cooking. The visual of Gibson dressed is only boy shorts dancing and singing at the top of his lungs was the best. Gibson knows he can’t sign worth a damn, but he just doesn’t care. I love it.

Talon on the other pissed me off more times than not. He let his need to protect Gibson get in the way of things. Plus his jealousy caused Gibson a lot of pain, and gave him reason to doubt Talon. So I had a real love hate reaction to Talon. With all the other action going on with the treats from their enemies, Talon just added a lot of angst that turned me off of him many times. Although finally he did get his act together, but still it was a little annoying.

So… I loved the book, I loved Gibson, I loved the supporting cast, and I loved that the villains got their just desserts. But Talon really did ruin it for me times and I took half a point off for that. Still, looking forward to reading more future books in this series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Cas is the world of Athaira, which was conquered by the Trabuk. Since then the people of Athaira has been forced into a mandatory three years of service to the Trabuk military. Cas was originally been assigned as an engineer on the ship Calicos, under the General on the ship noticed him and reassigned Cas as his personal assistant. The thing that finally pushed Cas over the edge and made him seek escaping was when the General decided that Cas and all other Athaira on the ship needed their pointed ears docked.

Now Cas crash lands on a planet, Terra Nova, that is supposed to be devoid of life. But is not. There is a thriving species called the Talamachait. They are a cat-like race with fur over their entire bodies, pointed ears, teeth, and a tail. On his first night on the planet, Cas meets Zus, who claims him as his mate. Zus just happens to be one of a set of triplets, Zev and Zan, who also claim Cas. But Cas and the triplets don’t only have to worry about settling into mated life, but also fighting off the Trabuk who are determined to conquer Terra Nova.

I liked this book. I liked the new concept. With Stormy Glenn, the writing is always good, and so are the sexy moments. There just seemed to be missing a little something. Not enough that I didn’t enjoy the book, but just something I can’t name or describe. I am not sure if it was too short for all that needed to be told and things just moved t o o fast for me or what. But I honestly think I would have enjoyed it more if it was longer to draw it out a little more.

Either way, I look forward to the next book in the series. Because it is, a very interesting concept and I just enjoy Stormy Glenn in general.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

The Talamachait have opened up a wormhole with Earth. In exchange for humans who may become mates to their warriors, the Talamachait are willing to help Earth with technology that will protect them from the world conquering Trabuk. Jake is one of the people who are brought in to help train fellow soldiers in hand-to-hand combat. When the first group of Talamachait come through the wormhole to meet the soldiers going to Terra Nova, the triplets leading the group realize Jake is their mate.

Rhada, Ruvia, and Rayed bring Jake their new mate through the wormhole to their world and proceed with the mating night. Never knowing that Jake was never informed about what the exchange was. It seems the powers that be on Earth never told the soldiers volunteering for the assignment what it truly was about. So the foursome have a bit of a learning curve to make their new relationship work. They need to blend the customs of both their worlds together to make the perfect union. During all this, they need to deal with the betrayals happening on both sides of the wormhole.

I really liked this one. The writing was fast paced. The sex scenes were steamy. And this world is getting more and more interesting. The simple misunderstanding between Jake and his mates are at times funny. The Talamachait are a very unique people. Very much a blending of cat and humanoid. They are both primitive and advanced. I like how Jake adapts to their way of life, but also blends in Earthling things, like PDA.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Review: This is book 2 in the Rock Stars series by Andrew Jericho (book 1 was published under the name A.K. Kinley). This is a true sequel in the sense that it picks up the story basically where book 1 finished, so if you try to read this one without reading book one, I know from experience you’ll get so confused you’ll go back to read book 1.

Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll is just one massive wow! It’s a great book but is so heavy on sex that it seems that a chapter doesn’t pass without at least one sex scene. It was also odd in the way that it intrigued me and sucked me in, yet at the same time had me wanting more in terms of plot. I find it a unique book in terms of the fact that the true distinction is made between polyamory and ménage relationships.

This story centres on four men who have been in a poly amorous relationship for some years; they’ve also been members of the same band for just as long. Although the story particularly centres on the fifth man to recently join the relationship in book one, Zane. Zane is a doctor that initially started out as the band physician before things with him and one of the men, David (or Deuce). However, in this book he seems to become the glue holding the band together as they go through their own issues, all of them interesting. In particular, I have to say Jamie’s (known as James to Zane) storyline is really very fascinating.

One thing that I love about this book was the relationships and the subtle (or not so subtle) differences the different relationships showed. They also had different dynamics because of the different personalities. With five different people resulting in 10 different relationships between each different couple (had to do the math on that one!), this is by no means a simple dynamic and the clash in personalities and jealousies the men felt is really well written.

About the good doctor, Zane, I really like how in his relationship with the men that he insists on using their proper names. He does come across as geeky and formal but he is an interesting character with many layers. Likewise with all the other characters.

I love Jamie, he’s adorable yet I know him so much as a character that I know that if he was real and in front of me, he would throw a spectacular hissy fit if he heard me.

Adam is a wonderful character but he takes everything to heart and feels responsible for everyone and everything: so his asthma masks his stress problems.

David, I adore, after going through his issues in the first book and continuing on with them. I feel all the guys have let him down but it’s great that Zane has come to shake things up and get David the help he needs.

LT is a strong, silent character. It’s not until the end of this book we learn more of him and it turns out he’s more vulnerable then we realise.

I am really looking forward to the third book in this series because I really want to see these guys reconcile their different personalities and expectations and somehow make a cohesive relationship out of what they have started. I really don’t want Zane to be used in the sense that he’s good to have around while everyone else is having their crises.

Review: This is book 4 in the Guardian City series, and whilst can be read as a standalone, I recommend people to read in order to understand the entire story. All the matings involve ménage relationships, which I’m sure will please many people. This actually also leads to my first comment too, Grace Lynn has created a fantastic and intricate universe within this single series. Overall, I have enjoyed this series, this book perhaps more so than the others.

A main part of my enjoyment was Jack, one of the MC’s, is the most adorable bunny shifter. His actions, just as the author intended, are just like an actual rabbit. Because of his bunny genes, he’s a little scared of his stronger mates. He is also the smart and dedicated doctor of Guardian City, so we see Demend and his mates from the first two books pop up for his help or are approached for help.

Blake was actually a minor character in the previous book. And after the situation he forced to live in, it’s nice to see that’s he’s been given some freedom to do as please and find his happily ever after. Blake stumbles upon his second mate Cast, while he’s on his way back to Guardian City with supplies. Cast is an interesting one. He at first comes across as not so much weak, but rather a damsel-in-distress, but by the end of it he’s got a tough attitude and he’s willing to do anything for his mates.

There’s a minor character, a little demon named Acotas, who is also insanely adorable. He reminds me a bit of the frightened rabbit caught in headlights, to take an analogy from Jack. I don’t know if this series will ever continue, but regardless, I love this character. The story line that he is involved with, the “peril” that is face by the three mates in the book, is quite well played out, although I don’t think the actual danger is fully conveyed to reader. Like the rest of this series, the directly to the point manner in which it is written, makes it a perfect type of book to read in an hour or a few (depending how fast you read!).

Read the series, it’s a good way to pass a relaxing day, or whatever. It’s easy to read, well written and the description of setting is great!
