Blurb: Bryan Harrison is a successful accountant and a man who admires order and self-discipline. It’s a startling break from his routine when he literally bumps into Phiz Bussman outside With a Kick. Phiz’s lifestyle and behavior are in complete contrast to Bryan’s, and appear totally chaotic. But they each recognize something in the other that they need.

Bryan has been helping With a Kick with its financial difficulties, and is finding it difficult to balance his professional persona with friendship with the owners. But then he’s always found it tricky to expose his more vulnerable feelings. His cool facade hides loneliness: he believes he’ll never find a lover who accepts and welcomes his secret desire.

Whereas Phiz is all about exposure! He’s defined by his cheerful but clumsy liveliness, his openhearted emotions, and his physical needs. Despite that, he’s lonely as well. He craves someone who will help him bring purpose and focus into his life, and admits freely he needs a firm hand – in every way.

If they can both accept a friendship that’s destined for more, Bryan may be just the man to provide it.

Review: This was a cute little story that about drove me nuts. I can see how ice cream makes people crazy. I had a blast reading it. Bryan is an accountant and friends with the owners of an adult’s ice cream. I

get a kick out of the name of the ice cream they sell. When leaving the ice cream parlor he walks right into Phiz. Even though he is helping With a Kick ice cream parlor with their financial difficulties, he has trouble finding a way around certain aspects of his life because of his friendship with the owners. He tries desperately to have a normal life but he can’t let desires out. He doesn’t think anyone will accept him for who he truly is. That is until Phiz.

This was a cute and hot little story that had me wanting more. Not only just for ice, cream either, but a taste of Phiz and Bryan. I had a blast reading it and look forward to reading more by Clare. The downside to this story was the fact that now I want some ice cream. I loved the way the story just jumps right off the pages and into your heart.

I would definitely recommend reading this story. It is perfect for when you need a story to lift you up and have you laughing.

Review: Each book in Dark Riders collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way Lynn can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Lynn.

Jake’s life has been hell for so long that he has given up. His mother didn’t give a damn about him and his stepfather beat the crap out of him daily. Well he and his two friends did. When he had been younger he had been caught with another boy and his life had been a living hell ever since. That was how he met Emilio. Emilio had saved him from a beating. He worked at Andromeda ever since he started hanging out there.

Emilio had taken one look at Jake and wanted him. The problem was Emilio had a past and didn’t want Jake to have to deal with that and the fact that he was a wolf. He kept an eye out for him and over him, but this one time he was almost too late. Jake had overdosed on some drugs at the club and Emilio found him. He had to even give him CPR to revive him. Emilio knew he would have to take steps farther with the man he was falling in love with.

Now Jake was hunted by not only his stepfather, darlings, the Blood Hearts, and striker. He was in some serious crap now, and he had to learn to trust the one man made for him. This story was amazing, although when it comes from Lynn I can guarantee that it will be. I loved it and look forward to the next story in this series. I couldn’t take my eyes off this story till the very end. It gave me everything I could possibly want in a story. I loved it.

I would recommend reading this, especially if you love gorgeous men, angst and pain, excitement, passion and fire, hot sex and dangerous situations. Not to mention men that turn into wolves.

Review: This is one pretty damn cool and well-written story. Jimmy is a sweetheart and it’s difficult not to instantly feel sorry for this self-confessed twink. To top it all off, he’s attracted to the big bear of a man behind the bar at the only gay bar in town.

The mystery is no one knows his name. They just know him as whichever nametag he was wearing when last seen or taken notice of. This makes Jimmy determined to work it out.

It’s certainly different having the entire plot predicated on a character trying to guess something about the other main character. In fact, I really enjoyed how the chapters were set up and it was really well paced too. Every couple of chapters, when it gets to the end of the night after Jimmy and “Guy” have been out, it’s a short period of calm as we see what Jimmy has come up with.

Then between all these guesses, Jimmy chronicles the drama that is unfolding around him, drama that “Guy” is more than willing to get involved in as long as Jimmy is kept safe. “Guy” is a teddy bear in every way possible and I found him instantly likable. His refusal to give his real name is more mischievous than annoying.

I really enjoyed the pacing and the cast of characters in this book. This is the type of book you can sit back and just read without thinking too much. Really, this is just a bit of funny with some mystery thrown in but not too much danger.

Blurb: Dario Ramos thought he’d left the fighting behind in the war zone when a life-threatening injury sent him home. But a certain Irishman crossing his path everywhere he went convinced him that his biggest battle might be ahead.

Tiernan Callahan is a bigoted jerk. Ramos finds himself constantly in the man’s orbit, even in a city as big as New York. The wounded warrior knows all about pain and loss — and that sometimes anger is the only form of release. When Tiernan once again crowds Ramos’ space, his eyes are opened to the possibility of other forms of release.

Tough NYC cop Tiernan Callahan is still mourning the death of his beloved youngest brother, Mason. Fearing his close-minded family’s reaction, the young soldier never got to tell them his secret — that he was gay and engaged to the love of his life. Tiernan is surviving on anger and guilt.

When he continues to run into Dario Ramos, who continues to push his buttons, something inside him snaps. Suddenly, anger isn’t the only emotion he feels.

Two very different men, still trying to heal: Can they come to an understanding and heal each other?

Reviewer: Tams

Review: Tiernan Callahan comes from a long line of New York’s finest, with family members that have carried both guns and hoses. Tiernan became a cop while his brother Michael became a fireman, and the baby of the family Mason, joined the military in an effort to separate himself from his commanding older brothers. Tiernan’s downward spiral started with the death of his little brother in the line of duty, and was only compounded when his family learned that Mason was gay.

Tiernan has made one bad decision after another since Mason’s death, but none of them haunt his every waking thought like Dario Ramos. Ex military war vet himself, Dario managed to make it home, but he carries both emotional and physical scars from his time in the military. And the asinine cop with red streaked hair and a mean streak that is longer than Dario is tall, continues to work his last good nerve. But for some insane reason, the two of them are constantly drawn into each other’s orbit and over time, they start to see each other in a new light.

Both men are large, in charge, domineering, alpha male personalities that seem to do nothing but piss each other off. It’s when they stop yelling at each other that things really get interesting. It takes Tiernan a while to decipher what it is he feels for Dario. It’s been ingrained in his psyche all his life that gay is bad by his over the top catholic mother.

But there is something about Dario that makes Tiernan want to take a chance, makes the brooding Irish cop smile, all the damn time. He will have to come to terms with his sexuality and make amends with someone he truly wronged before he can even consider where he wants to take his relationship with Dario.

There is really nothing sexier than two sexy as sin, controlling alpha males tripping over each other on their way to the bed then wrestling to see who will come out on ‘top’. It takes these two a little while to accept their mutual attraction as exactly what it is, chemistry. For a while, there I wanted to bang their heads together! But once they shared that first steamy kiss while Dario had Tiernan pushed up against the wall, well from that point on, they can’t keep their clothes on or their hands off each other. Even Tiernan’s partner Danny tells him to stop it. They are giving him a cavity.

The Men of Manhattan series is all about true love and second chances. Both Tieranan and Dario have lost a lot in their lives, but only together can they hope to heal. Love is a powerful thing. This book has all Gasq-Dion’s usually quirky one-liners, firey personalities, a well-written storyline, and flawless character development. And she has already sparked my curiosity for the possibility of a couple different couplings in future installments of this series, I do hope that Danny and Bobby are next!

I highly recommend this series especially if you are a fan of strong alpha male types and are a hopeless romantic like me. Start at the beginning though, there are details that won’t be as crisp for you if you just jump right into this book.

Review: After the first night of watching a hockey game together and hearing Bryan’s roommate Tim have sex with another man, Bryan and Ben start regularly watching games together. During those times, they also talk about everyday life and get to know one another. Bryan also starts fantasizing about Ben having sex with him.

This was a really cute little short story about two straight men finding love with each other. It was well written, fast paced, and pretty damn hot.

Reviewer: Anna

Review: The Teacher’s Troubled Heart tells the story of Drew, a high school teacher who lives his life ruled by an event in his teens, and Cal, a tattoo artist who moves next door. The first meeting between these two marks the beginning of scorching encounters that soon turn into something more. Compatible in more ways than the physical, Cal and Drew have a great budding friendship.

However, Drew’s past rejection impedes him to ever try to give himself fully again. And so begins Cal’s battle to show understanding to an event that many would have overcome a long time ago, proving over and over that he is willing to put himself on the line for Drew. But when Drew thinks he doesn’t need help, how far and how long will Cal try without hurting himself in the process?

Thus, The Teacher’s Troubled Heart tells the story of how events affect people differently and that love alone isn’t enough to help them through: people need to want to move on. One of the things that clearly illustrate Jarrett’s idea is the very beginning of the story, where we meet

Drew as he is watching Cal through the window. This scene is a great representation of Drew’s distancing himself from what he wants, putting up a barrier to protect himself: watching from behind his window, connecting but withholding his feelings.

Jarrett’s writing is amazing, making up for the frustration the reader begins to feel towards Drew and his inability to move on. The author describes the characters in a way that make them feel life-like, ruled by human emotions that the reader identifies with. Even when we feel frustrated, Jarrett reminds us that everyone experiences things differently, and we cannot fault them for it. Hence, why the reader can’t put the book down until they find out if these characters have a happy ending or not.

On a personal level, my favorite character is Cal, who struggles through every obstacle Drew throws his way. As Jarrett describes him, Cal is not ashamed of himself even if his « tattoos and piercings might frighten other people». All his ink represents something personal and that’s how he presents himself: open and easy-going. Even after past hurts, he is not afraid to try again, even with someone as skittish as Drew. Above all else, Cal isn’t willing to lose himself over someone else.

The reason why I consider this book worthy of 3.75 Hearts is because, although I really liked the story and it’s well written, it’s not something that will remain with me for a long while.

Review: This is the first book to this collection and I had a blast reading it. Although with that title I was thinking Squirrel shifters or some paranormal. It is told in first person and I usually don’t much care for those but this one was amazing. There was so much humor in it that I spent most of my time laughing my ass off. Talk about an accident waiting to happen with these two men. And that was how they met. They both rose up and hit heads. Things were heating up ever since.

Joseph is very open and has a bit of an attitude. I get a kick out of him. He hits Kyle’s head with his, and then they meet again in the locker room. All naked and hot, Kyle just kept talking to him and Joseph was not exactly paying too much attention to anything the man said. He was also about a foot taller than he was, so he was face to face with the man’s chest. Yummy goodness was all he could think about.

Kyle raised by his parents in Oklahoma, they were both very religious and conservative. So he definitely was not out to him. He ended up going to medical school and working in New York. He wanted what any man wanted, love, and a family. When he started talking to Joseph in the locker room his attention was caught. He even asked him out for coffee. Things really heat up between them both. Although there is a bit of confrontation between them both, things are really looking up for them both.

I was already laughing, and then you introduced Mano and things get even quirkier. You can tell from the way they act and talk that they are deeply in love. I also love the fact that Kyle’s mom ended up being good with it all. It truly was a story that was warm and heart filled.

If you want a story with a happy ending then this is one for you. It gives you humor, lust, a little medical emergency where you can watch Kyle in action, just an itsy bitsy bit of angst and some hot sex. I would definitely recommend reading this story.

Review: This is a very fascinating story that has a lot of twist and turns that will have you guessing and sitting on the edge of your seat. It is full of intrigue, deception, mystery, and sexual heat. I did have a bit of a hard time with it, when the languages switch from English to French. It however did not deter me to put the book down. In fact, this story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

Charles was born with polio and walked with a limp. His family owned a ballet company and in fact, he was from a family of dancers. He is a gentle man who just draws you in and has you fighting his battles for him. There is something about him that makes you want to leave him smiling and happy. He doesn’t seem to be happy at all until Stefan.

However everyone else in this story should be shot. Someone is intent on blackmailing him when he does hook up with Stefan. Then there is Valentin who acts one way but you can tell there is something hidden inside him that will have you wanting to shoot him.

This story has a lot of mystery and heat that has me intrigued. But what I loved even more was the twist and turns that this story takes. I thought I had parts figured out then wham it changes. Charles is really an excellent author that can have you sitting on the edge of your seat, biting your nails and waiting for what happens next. I will be biting my lip waiting to hear more, because Charles wrote it just right with a little cliffhanger.

I would recommend reading this book. Trust me you will find it a blast to read. It gives you all that you could ask for in a story.

Their bonds, forged in fires set by their personal demons, are unbreakable—or so Eli wants to believe. Especially since he and Alanso, his best friend and head mechanic, witnessed the overpowering allure of polyamory while visiting the Powertools crew.

Much as Eli would like to deepen the relationships among his foster brothers and sister in the Hot Rods Restoration Team, he’s hesitant to risk everything on a quick romp behind a stack of tires.

But when Eli catches Alanso exploring their mutual fantasy at a known hookup spot in a public park, all bets are off. And Eli must decide if it’s time to jump in full throttle—and trust his instincts to guide him through the night. If the pair can dodge the potholes in their own relationship, maybe they can race together toward the unconventional arrangement with Mustang Sally they both desire.

Review: This is the first book I’ve ever read by this author and I had a few problems with this book. The first was the constant referring to another crew as though the reader was supposed to know what the author was talking about.

After looking the author up on Amazon, I discovered another series. So I assume this is where it came from, which I didn’t read. The second thing was putting m/f, m/m/f in a book I thought was m/m considering I review for an m/m site.

I should’ve looked the book up before I picked it from the list because I would not normally read a book with mentions of m/f and m/m/f in them. With that being said, the story was well written, gritty with a lot of emotional stress of two guys wanting each other plus one of them wanting Sally as well.

Eli is the boss at his garage and Alanso works for him. There is a lot of sexual tension between them as Eli isn’t ready to take the next step. After finding Alanso with strangers, Eli rethinks his decision.

The crew at the garage seems like a very close-knit family, which is good. I loved how they all backed each other up when in a crisis. Eli seemed gruff but at the same time not sure of his feelings for Alanso. Alanso knew exactly what he wanted, Eli.

It was an o.k. read. This book was not for me though.

Review: Lessons, Book 3 in Nicholas Bella’s, Chained in Darkness, series picks up where Punishment, Book 2, left off. After finishing Punishment and knowing Lessons would be next, I was little apprehensive as to what “lessons” Noel would have to suffer through. And, make no mistake, he has suffered, extensively. His only saving grace, at this point, is he heals almost immediately from his torture (One of the perks of being a vampire). In Noel’s mind, he IS being tortured, he’s being humiliated, and he is definitely being made an example in front of the others.

Most of us know vampires thrive and survive with blood as their potent nectar and lifeline. And while that is also true here, Noel, and the others, also needs semen. Specifically Théoden’s, as his has powerful properties that will electrify and energize your whole body. So…what lessons will Noel be taught? He makes it quite clear he is not happy about his situation. He is confused, mentallfanart lessons nicholas bella noel(1)y and physically, seeing his body and more to the point, his manhood, respond fervently as he watches and listens to those around him having sex.

Théoden continues to be the evil, sadistic, bastard and takes great pleasure in making Noel an example to his “brothers.” It doesn’t matter to him that Noel is an unwilling participant. His displeasure is voiced loud and clear, when Noel tries to thwart his commands.

“Suck it, you filthy fucking bitch!” Théoden growled as he shoved his hips forward.

I felt like I couldn’t breathe, and I knew I didn’t need to, but I was too used to the sensation of breathing not to panic at this point. I pressed my hands on Théoden’s thighs, trying to rise up. He snatched me off his cock, lifting my head up, and slapped me hard across the cheek then spit in my face. I recoiled as his hot, slimy saliva slid down my lips and cheek. It was so fucking disgusting and degrading. I knew that’s why he did it.

“Open your mouth!” He ordered.

Since his blood now flows through Noel, he knows him better than Noel knows himself, or at least what he is willing to admit. Noel will become nothing other than a dumpsite for his fellow vampires as they use him, relentlessly, to pleasure themselves.

Whether Noel learns anything from this lesson, and I’m not convinced he has, he does learn something about himself. His taste buds are getting quite the workout and he finds he rather likes the explosions of flavor. (Use your imagination. you’ll probably be right, lol)

“It’s time that you accept what you are, Noel. This is a part of your life now, get used to it or suffer.” Théoden looked at Bruce and nodded.
Bruce slid back down, squatting over my face. “There’s no time like the present, let me feel that sweet tongue, boy.”

Noel may be held by forces he doesn’t understand but his fiery attitude continues to show. He may go along with Théoden’s demands, but he doesn’t have to like it. But, is that really the case? Is it possible Noel enjoys, ummm, drinking, and swallowing, the vampires nectar? His brothers enjoy, immensely, taking their pleasure from Noel. They force him to do things to them that repulse him to his core.

Their sexual deviances have no boundaries as they put Noel through his lessons. Noel realizes he is at their mercy, to be used and abused, as they see fit. However, could it be that Noel is more humiliated with the actions of his body than the act itself?

As the author continues to warn us, (see up there^^) I continue to read, anyway. I need to know what is coming next and if Noel will continue to fight or give in. As with the first two novelettes, the author doesn’t cut corners or spare the details. Lessons, for me, was an easier read, (Noel notsomuch, heh), out of the three, so far. His lessons were not as painful as his punishment, but still hard on Noel, just the same.

I’m afraid to assume, however, that things are beginning to lighten up. I see traces, small glimpses, of Théoden maybe, MAYBE, having some compassion, but then again I’m sure it’s just my wishful thinking. Nicholas, also, includes more of the cast in this story giving us an inside view of what Noel is up against.

The “brothers” all connected together through Théoden, his blood and semen, are an intriguing bunch. They are egotistical, loud, brutish, and very vocal, finding their own pleasure, and shouting explicitly, for the others. Each one will use Noel as the instrument in achieving their release.

I haven’t changed my opinion that somewhere through this journey I will love Théoden. He’s evil, volatile, and temperamental. And, in his defense, he is consistent with his warnings, doesn’t waiver on his punishments, and deep down, way down, I think he wants Noel to succeed, to give in, and enjoy his new life. Only time will tell and one reason why I am compelled to see it through.

Submissions, book 4, is up next and I can only wonder if Noel will submit willingly or continue to hold strong with his convictions. Hopefully, by now, Noel has gained enough insight to go along with Théoden and if nothing else, to at least keep his mouth shut. But, what would be the fun in that?

Review: Each book in Royal Mates, Love’s Diamond collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good fantasy romance with two gorgeous men involved. There is just something truly special about these books and this one even more. It had captured me from the moment I started reading and kept me spell bound. Normally when one is reading a novel they would get up and do something for a bit before finishing but this story just would not let me leave. It was like I just had to know the ending. I had to see the happiness that these two men deserved.

Duncan was a prince from Sanzel and has come to Earth to find his aheri. He is afraid though because his powers are so strong and he has no control over them. He had even hurt one of his brothers, although he healed him to an extent he feared that he would always hurt those that he loved.

He sees his Michael at the diamond field and notices that he is injured. He manages to heal him a bit but also notices the pain in his man’s eyes. He feels what he is feeling and if he goes forth, they will just get stronger. He worries that his size will make him unable to be loved. That his man would never want a man like him.

Michael had been born into a family that had not loved him and even more when he came down with the mumps. He had gone to live with a foster mother that was a true mother to him. She had told him one day that he would meet a great man, a gentle giant, and one that would need his love. He had not believed her, that is till the diamond field.

He looked up into the stands and there he was. By sight, they start the bonding, by touch it deepens and once sex is completed, they will be forever husbands. He had told Duncan about the mumps and how he would never have a child but what they had not known was Duncan’s powers would heal them both.

But like most relationships it only truly works when there is complete communication and not to take things out of context. These two have that difficulties but their love will show them the way. They just have to learn to trust in their love for each other and to stop being so damn stubborn.

There is nothing better to me than a story where one of the men can have a baby. I actually get a kick out of that. Too bad that doesn’t happen in our world, talk about a pay back. I love most anything put in front of me to read, but this one is probably up in my ranking.

I love how they have so much love for each other that you can see it in a look, the way they touch and the air around them just makes it feel like they are the only two in the world. You can usually tell when an author puts their heart into their work and this was one of them.

I would definitely recommend reading this. It will give you gorgeous men, tender gestures, a bit of angst and pain, passion and heat, a bit of danger, some very hot sex and happily ever after. It gave me that and so much more.

I guarantee that this book will be one of your favorites. It is just the way it is told that makes it even more special in my eyes. They meet, but are both full of fear. However, they take the chance at happiness. I loved it and look forward to reading the next story.

Review: Taur is on the run from people who want him, dead or alive, it doesn’t matter which. Theseus is the one hunting him. From the start, there are questions Theseus has about the hunt. Things are not right. But it’s not until the people after Taur also try to Theseus instead of paying him that he really knows he shouldn’t have taken the contract.

Theseus is a hunter, or gun for hire. He goes from job to job. He has had one serious relationship that ended because he held on to tightly, afraid of losing another person in his life. When he meets Taur, even though he is a bounty he still feels bad about turning him in. After they are both betrayed the two are on the run together and Theseus cannot help being attracted to Taur. Finally, he gives in, and what started out as just some fun, becomes something more.

Taur was made for violence. He was never taught true emotions. He knows how to protect himself and to kill. When he and Theseus start getting closer he is confused at first. But wants more. As they run for their lives Taur slowly learns what its like to matter and care for someone, and what sex is like. He also knows his time may be very limited, since the people after him have a backup plan that could kill him before Taur and Theseus find the answers they are looking for.

The writing is great. The world created is very lush and descriptive. The two main characters are well fleshed out, as well as a few of the secondary characters. This should have been a five-heart story to me. However, it just did not draw me in. I was not invested in the two MCs and I was easily distracted from the book. I just did not connect with either of the MCs or their story. I am sure others will disagree with me, but it just did not do it for me personally.

If you are looking for a space adventure with two tough men, some death and destruction, and a little sex thrown in this may be for you.

Review: This is not your usual historical romance. Sure, it has all the elements of one (hunky knights, noblemen, damsels in distress, cunning plans, archery and swordplay – the kind with metal weapons), but the way the story was told meant that it didn’t come out exactly like “the rest”. In addition, yes, it also had some tender love scenes and some grittier scenes. I won’t tell you at which point, but yes, I did find myself crying.

William sees Christian, a young man who excels in just about everything. He is known as the Crow because he has learnt to retreat is how to survive in a hostile family of older brothers. William is desperate to help his much beloved sister out an abusive marriage and in the end it is Christian’s help and strategy that gets him closer to his goals. Both these guys are knights in shining armour – just not to each other, which I thought was pretty cool.

Christian starts off as almost the damsel in distress but as he learns more and more about his character, we know he is not. He isn’t naive either, which William assumed (Christians account of a confession he made probably highlights this point the best). William is a very loving and caring brother and his family has had its own fair share of tragedy, which is why he needs to get his sister and nieces out of a bad situation.

He is also the epitome of a noble knight, he is muscle-bound, strong, and handsome and has a sense of honour you think couldn’t happen in real life. However, it is quickly evident that their positions among the peerage are what leads them to do what they do.

I think what I admired most was the lack of angst in this book. These guys knew that in their society, they were morally wrong but they just got on with doing what needed to be done as well as exploring their attraction. As I said, both these guys are nobles, but they aren’t the type that can abuse any sort of power and damn the consequences.

These guys even spoke out their sins and pushing away their urges, but in the end, a minor character tells them, there are different kinds of love and the love they have is the best kind of love. It is a wonderful moment where our heroes can come to terms with things before the happily ever after-type of thing. Ultimately, they know society would not see them so kindly, this point is thankfully not over killed.

In saying all that, the journey William and Christian take together, with the sexual tension hanging between, them is great because we do see these characters change – or how we see them is change. Not only in how they interact with each other but how they, individually in their minds, reminisce of their respective pasts, we see who they are and where they came from.

Final note: the epilogue. In a word, it’s great. I loved it because of what it told me, yet at the same time I found myself questioning “why?” I won’t say anymore so I don’t ruin the surprise. Well written, loved the historical context and both characters are just more than the average earl, duke, or knight.

Review: A quick (albeit very intriguing) short story, Hunter or Hunted? is the tale of the chase between William and David, from the perspective of each of their minds. Each thinking himself the hunter, David and William were basically stalking their prey. With every word, the tension continued to build, leading up to the payoff – their ultimate encounter, which was worth the well-written wait.
William and David. Hunting each other.

Which one is the hunter? Which is the hunted? Take a few minutes and see if you can make that determination – I couldn’t. I am not usually a fan of the back and forth of head hopping, but it really worked here. I found this to be captivating, sexy and entertaining from the first word to the very last.

Kudos, Lily Velden, for this well orchestrated cat and mouse game. I really enjoyed myself, and recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, sexy read.

Review: What happens when Guy #1 and Guy #2 both like each other and are BOTH a bit on the shy introverted side?

Some blushing, some mild flirting, perhaps some extra ordering of items to bring said deliveryman to the house yet again. A bit over the top, maybe, but it works. Jim and Patrick are absolutely adorable, and when they do come together, they are definitely sexy.

A short and sweet, low angst read for when you need that feel-good, ‘will-they-won’t-they-get-it-together’ feeling, that easy ride to the sexy parts and the HEA.

This holiday gift from Jay Northcote to her readers, is a cute little freebie, and I would definitely recommend for some warm fuzzies and a smile.

Review: Even though this is marketed as a standalone holiday sequel to Checking Him Out, it would probably be best to read book one. The background in the first book really does help explain Adam’s behaviour while he is sick in this one.

This is a quite charming story of a couple trying to get their separate beliefs together for the holiday seas. Sol is Jewish and Adam is Christian. They’ve been together for a while now, they’re also married and life is good since they have relocated to England.

We also learn a lot more about their families, particularly Adam’s brother Noah and friend/ex-boyfriend Matty. In fact, Matty is a sweetheart and I want to hug him and make it all better. Actually, I wouldn’t mind learning more about Noah and Matty.

I think this book actually makes me think on Checking Him Out in a much better light. This one has a fairly simple plot and a few sick family members (and a bitchy move from Sol’s sister). It’s easy enough to enjoy and easy enough to understand the insanity of families.
