Review: This is the second book in A Planet Called Wish. Corbin loves his life on Wish. He enjoys helping others in any way. Emmanuel is a bounty hunter sent to kill Corbin by one of his own clients.
Emmanuel is gruff and almost emotionless. At first he seems creepy until more is revealed about him. He falls for Corbin but doesn’t like what he does for a living. Which is totally understandable as most don’t want to be with someone permanently who sleeps with others while they’re with you.
Corbin is at a loss as he wants to be with Emmanuel but wants to keep doing what he’s doing. Which I thought was kinda selfish. I was confused as to why Corbin didn’t tell Monroe who had hired the bounty hunter when he found out. After all it was someone who frequented the establishment and that meant putting others in jeopardy.
Although it was a well written story with an interesting plot, I felt it was drawn out at times when there was no need for it to be.
All in all it was an o.k. read that takes the reader into the life of Corbin as his life slowly changes.

Review:This is the fourth book in the Gods Hunters series.
This is the only book I have read in this series so far. The book starts out great. I loved the details of the battle scene though I felt it was extremely short compared to the focus on the characters relationships. It went the same pattern throughout so I was disappointed.
The story reads like you should already know who the characters are so there are not a lot of details about them other than their names and some characteristics. I felt this read more like a contemporary at times even though the story takes place somewhere other than earth, with a little of the other genres thrown in.
One thing that kept confusing me was why David kept referring to the colt brothers as his boys. His boyfriend was Doug one of the brothers but the rest had boyfriends so that left me shaking my head in confusion. One of things I did like was all the details regarding the battles, visions, other dimensions and worlds. It was simply breathtaking in their descriptions. I felt as if I was actually seeing what was being described.
The MST were bloodthirsty and dangerous. They did not care who they hurt or what they destroyed to achieve whatever goal they set out to do. Their lack of what I can only describe as compassion for others greatly angered me. I could not believe the lengths they went to, to obliterate all who stood in their way.
There are a lot of characters in this book, though I did not feel a connection to any of them, which help or hinder David in finding the four pillars.

Review: Josh admits he is an alcoholic. He has been clean and sober for five years. The gallery is just beginning to come around when Kris walks in telling Josh he is going to sell the building. When Josh asks for a chance to bring in a newly discovered artist and prove he can make the gallery work, Kris agrees. Kris also goes along. The trip brings them closer together, but Josh just when Josh thinks things are looking up for both the gallery and his love life it all comes crashing down around him.
A hot cowboy, a sexy artist, an angsty romance written in BA Tortuga’s unique style? Win! Win! Win! As usual, BA has outdone herself in unique characters. I loved every single one of them right down to the dogs! The storyline had some angst, a great plot, dealt with a significant social issue and still was quite a humorous as well. I nearly forgot to mention the beautiful settings in New Mexico, the fabulous food, the gallery, the B&B they stay at. Yes, so many cool settings!
I sat on the edge of my seat nibbling my nails to see how this was going to come out. There were quite a few surprises.
I can’t wait to see which man or men the next book will be about.

Reviewer: Cat Review: An Ice storm has Prophet, and Tom cooped up inside. Prophet gets bored and challenges Tom to a game of truth or dare that has Tom stealing Cillian’s couch and Prophet revealing yet another secret.
This is a very short book and mostly sex, but I have to say it is also rather cute and funny. It brings back the game of steal-the-couch, which was hilarious in the first couple books before Tom and Prophet became a couple. I can’t say much more since this is only an hour long, but its funny and extremely hot.
I felt that the sex scenes are the narrator’s strong points, and he didn’t disappoint us here.
If you like some hot sex, some BDSM, undercover agents, secrets, and scorching hot man-sex and of course, this series you will love this book. (This series does need read in order)

Review: I am going to be fair and admit I am not a big fan of war books. The blurb led me to think this would be interesting. And it was. Louise needs to be applauded at the detail of all the war scenes. She must have spent hours and hours in research. The scenes were lifelike, and I could almost imagine myself in these old planes fighting Germans.
The characters are interesting as well. I was hoping for more relationship and interaction among the men instead of all the war scenes. The few scenes that did focus on the men were intriguing. I just wanted more.
However, the sex was hot! I don’t know which was hottest, The first between Jimmy and Fillip long time committed lovers, the scene Jeff saw them in the shadows and watched or the scene with the three of them (that was smoking!)
If you like war stories, Historical settings, military men, action, and some smoking hot man-sex this is for you. It just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Review: This is the third book in the Evolin series.
After the events in the last book Sully has been summoned to return. He is not happy about the fire king wanting him to teach him how to be a human. I personally didn’t like the fire king. He was polite enough. But had ulterior motives for wanting Sully’s help.
The fire king wants Sully for himself. I didn’t trust him at all especially after the events regarding Tylan. I could see why Sully was annoyed with everyone after a while. People kept telling him how great the fire king was. It seemed as though no one remembered Tylan, the man Sully loves.
As the story progresses Sully’s learns of lies, deceit and assassination attempts on the king. It was a very well written book that leads the reader into an amazing fantasy world where all is not as it seems.
Great read.

Review: Hands down, this is Annabeth Albert’s best book to date. It was not only fun, but also very complex and the characters certainly manage to play with your heartstrings. I’m pretty sure every single character in this book grew a lot, changed, and matured, from who they were at the beginning of this book. I usually don’t watch talent shows, but I’m pretty familiar with how they work, and I kind of enjoyed the setting and plot of this book.
I loved Trevor and Jalen from the very beginning, and I loved every single one of their interactions, from the reluctant enemies to incendiary lovers. Let me tell you, Trevor and Jalen set the sheets on fire. I’ve never come across a hotter frottage scene than the one that takes place between these two.
Holy fuck, it was intense…
Jalen is dominant and bossy, but at the same time a very sensual lover, while Trevor loves to be held down and rubbed into submission. The result is some out if this world sex in many different forms (I tend to skim the sex scenes when they get too repetitive, and I never once wanted to skim any part of this book).
Trevor is a much damaged soul who’s at a very bad place in life. He’s been kicked out of his very religious family after coming out to them, wasn’t able to find any reliable job, and he’s about to become homeless when he gets the call about being part of Next Direction Show.
Trevor is not a confident person, and there’s not much about himself he loves or even likes. He’s too short, his dick’s too small, his voice is too high pitched, he’s gay, and he doesn’t think he deserves any of the good opportunities being part of this show can bring him.
Trevor’s journey is somewhat painful to watch, and I found myself aggravated with him at times (mostly when I wasn’t brokenhearted), mainly for his ignorance and dismissal when it came to his diabetes. The feelings of guilt and shame he experienced after each time he had sex broke my heart, and I was so glad I had Jalen to hurt with…we were hurting buddies, Jalen and I.
Jalen is a rock, that dude has my heart! Once he realizes he’s attracted to Trevor and decides to give the chemistry simmering between them a try, Jalen is 100% in. He is a caretaker, a worrier, he NEEDS to know that the people he cares about are happy and safe, always taken care of.
Trevor pushes every one of his buttons, because he NEEDS people who care about him and his wellbeing, and there’s nobody better at that than Jalen. I absolutely loved how Jalen refused to be stereotyped and put in a box simply because someone believed he belonged in one. He believed at all times that being yourself was the only way to go, and he teaches Trevor how to love, both himself and others.
There are lots of secondary characters, but I want to give a shout-out to the boyfriend-“twins” Carter and Carson, the other two member of Stand Out… dudes, your brand of drama made me smile from the beginning, because I could totally see your inner-divas shining brightly. You guys were catty, bitchy and pretentious, sometimes even downright rude, but I still loved you anyways, especially after you removed those huge baseball bats you had shoved up your bottoms and became amazing friends to Trevor, who was in desperate need of support.
I went from being amused and mildly annoyed (with Carter mostly) to loving you guys to pieces, and I always appreciate a character who can make me go through such a complex range of feelings.
This book totally rocked, I’m goo-goo, ga-ga, over the top in love with the whole story! I hope we get more in this series, because Michelin really needs his own book, it’s about time!
