Blurb: Two hot men. One deserted tropical island.

Carefree Adam Bennet comes from a long line of earthy people— gardeners, herbalists, hippies, and farmers. His grandmother taught him and his brothers to live off the land, to heal themselves, and above all, to trust their intuition about a person or situation.

Mr. Don’t-Touch-Me Wade O’Rourke wouldn’t dream of something so pedestrian as living off the land. His family is monied and formal. Taking his place in his uncle’s company is the thing to do— never mind that he hates his life, and he has reasons to hate his uncle, too.

When Wade and Adam meet on an airplane, they don’t quite hit it off. But they’re the only two survivors of a crash landing on an island paradise, they have to join forces to survive.
Will Adam take a chance on love with the seemingly straight man? Underneath Wade’s business suit, which he once wore like armor against intimacy, is a hard body and a tender heart.

When love blossoms, can it survive the rescue and return to their American small town?

This full-length, standalone novel contains:
Two hot guys and a deserted island.
Tropical fruit too juicy to just eat.
A man damaged by his homophobic upbringing.
Steamy man on man love action and a happy ending.

Review: Adam and Wade are opposites that attract when the plane they are on crashes on an island with them as the only survivors. Adam is smart and sure about himself in every way. Wade comes from a family with money and living a life that his family wants him to. He despises working for his uncle and longs to life his life like he wants.

These two start a friendship that quickly turns into more as they explore each other and the island. When rescue happens Wade suddenly drops Adam like a bad habit for fear of his family. Wade does some soul searching and eventually they get together.

Although I wanted smack Wade a time or two and knock some sense into him I was glad he finally started living his life like he wanted.

Great read.

Handmade Holidays by ‘Nathan Burgoine

'Nathan Burgoine - Handmade Holidays CoverAt nineteen, Nick is alone for the holidays and facing reality: this is how it will be from now on. Refusing to give up completely, Nick buys a Christmas tree, and then realizes he has no ornaments. A bare tree and an empty apartment aren’t a great start, but a visit from his friend Haruto is just the ticket to get him through this first, worst, Christmas. A box of candy canes and a hastily folded paper crane might not be the best ornaments, but it’s a place to start.

A year later, Nick has realized he’s not the only one with nowhere to go, and he hosts his first “Christmas for the Misfit Toys.” Haruto brings Nick an ornament for Nick’s tree, and a tradition—and a new family—is born.

As years go by, Nick, Haruto, and their friends face love, betrayal, life, and death. Every ornament on Nick’s tree is another year, another story, and another chance at the one thing Nick has wanted since the start: someone who’d share more than the holidays with him.

Of course, Nick might have already missed his shot at the one, and it might be too late.

Still, after fifteen Christmases, Nick is ready to risk it all for the best present yet.

Everything I Have

(B-Sides 02)
by

Keelan Ellis

Richard Gold has always lived his life exactly the way he wanted. And the sexual revolution of the sixties and seventies has been a perfect fit for a man open to the full spectrum of experiences. People are drawn to his good looks and magnetic charm, and he’s taken advantage of all opportunities.

Now in his early forties, a small sliver of dissatisfaction takes hold of Richard for the first time. The death of his father and the reappearance of an estranged family member only magnify it, and Richard begins to take stock of his life. When he meets the handsome, meticulous, tightly wound Cliff Merriweather, he is thrown further into confusion as the intensity of his attraction brings into question long-held beliefs about himself. Through it all, his best friend Henry and his rock star boyfriend are on hand to lend support.

Cliff, unexpectedly drawn to Richard’s seductive overtures, finds a whole new world opening to him. His tightly regimented life has been upended by a divorce, leaving him restless and questioning. The sexual freedom a relationship with Richard promises is exhilarating, but Cliff is wary. He’s not at all sure he wants to be a part of the world Richard inhabits, but he no longer feels at home in the one he’s always known.

With an undeniable physical connection, and a friendship that continues to grow, Richard and Cliff must decide if they can let go of their previously held beliefs about themselves, about life, and about what it means to be in love.

This second book in the B-Sides series can be read as a stand-alone, though reading book one is recommended for full enjoyment.

Blurb: Come to Rainbow Island, where all your sexual fantasies will come true.

James, Guard and Damien continue to grant the sexual fantasies of their clients, but so far have been unable to make Rainbow Island work for their own relationship. Damien misses being home more often with his lovers and Guard has been working on breaking down James’ defenses. Can they make their own fantasies come true?

As always, three different fantasies are granted through Rainbow Island.

Tim is rich and bored. A ‘sometimes sub’, he’s searching for something more. Full-time Dom, Rain, is brought in to give Tim the twenty-four-seven experience he’s been looking for, but Rain has a secret—he’s been watching Tim in the club for years, just waiting for Tim to get serious before making his move. Can these two men find what they need in each other?

Mike has been hired to be a submissive. He doesn’t know that much about the lifestyle. He figures he can handle it—besides, the payday is too good to give up. Dom Brendan is handsome and confident, and the things he shows Mike speak to something deep inside him. Could he have found something more than just another job in Brendan?

Angus and Robbie are a committed Dom/sub pair who want to spice things up a little and see if puppy play is for them. They’re excited and nervous to learn from Sam, the puppy master that Rainbow Island has brought in to show them the ropes. They discover there’s more to puppy play than they’d imagined and not all of it is for them. Can they separate what they need from what they want and come out stronger than ever in the end?

Reader Advisory: This book contains fisting, scenes of puppy play and the use of urethral sounds.

Review: I loved reading how each couple worked together to find out what works and does not work for them. Some are as different as night and day.

I think Damien, James and Guard were the couple I looked forward to the most after the obstacles they have been through before. I was hoping to see them together for good. Mike and Brendan were perfect together in their quest to find someone. Mike never having experienced BDSM and Brendan wanting someone new seemed the right mix for these two.

Angus and Robbie want to try something new in their relationship and so go to explore at Rainbow Island. I liked how you could love yourself in Rainbow Island without being judged. Not to mention being taught the right way to do things.

All in all it was a wonderful read with plenty of hot scenes.

Blurb: Come to Rainbow Island, where all your sexual fantasies will come true.

James, Guard and Damien are back, still running their resort, where every fantasy, no matter how perverse, may come true. The three men continue working out the bumps in their threesome, but when it comes to their clients, they’re a well-oiled machine. Which works perfectly for the three new couples arriving in paradise.

Cameron is losing his sight, and he knows that he’ll be useless once it goes completely. He’s cashed in everything to leave his life behind for one last fling. Xander is on the island for a fantasy, too. He’s looking for someone to love on, someone to care for and Cameron seems to be the perfect match, but can they make it work?

As a writer, Ben always writes the script, which is why his fantasy is to give up control. He’s told his fantasy can’t be fulfilled, so he settles in for a relaxing vacation on an island paradise instead. Is he really as safe as he thinks he is?

Finally, Leo is a consummate top, always wanting to better his technique. He wants to know what it’s like to be a sub, but it won’t be easy for a Dominant to bottom for five days. Leo will do his dead-level best to measure up—his only worry is who the boys choose to be his fantasy top…

Don’t miss out on these fantasies come true.

Reader Advisory: This book contains a scene of fisting as well as scenes of kidnap and dubious consent.

Review: James, Guard and Damien are back at it again on Rainbow Island with three more couples looking for fantasy and love. Not to mention the struggles they are face in their lives. I have to admit I am wondering whether or not James, Guard and Damien will make it for the long haul.

Cameron and Xander seemed like a great mix. Even though Xander struggles to really connect with Cameron and his depression at times these two seemed to overcome their obstacles and shine.

Ben’s fantasy was a little bit more dangerous as he wants to be kidnapped and have all control taken away. Tip is chosen for this fantasy and I found that to be weird as Tip is a kind and gentle man. He did not seem to fit to me.

Finally Leo and David’s story was one where David has been in love with Leo for years and only now has admitted it after being involved with Leo at the island. I love the stories but I would have liked more story than sex as is the case with these books.

In Three Wishes, James, Guard and Damien bring in three different couples for their special fantasy-granting services. Handsome model Benji is tired of being perfect, and he wants to make his body his own. Thor, tattoo artist and piercer, as well as Dom, is just the man to do it. Will Benji find what he’s looking for?

Meanwhile, Alan and Roman are a long-time sub/Dom couple looking to have a few outside Masters give Alan all the things that Roman can’t. Will their relationship survive Alan’s strong reaction to one of the Masters?

The last couple to visit the island are Quinn and Pierce. Quinn has medical fetishes he’s embarrassed to tell his lover Pierce about even though Pierce is a doctor. So he’s going to get it out of his system in this safe environment. At least that’s the plan…

Don’t miss out on these fantasies come true.

Review: Damien, Guard and James run an isand where all your fantasies can come true. As well as try out a relationship for themselves with each other.

Benji and Thor try out D/s relationship and are loving it. Roman and Alan are already twenty-four seven D/s couple wanting to try a little extra kink. Even though it doesn’t work out like they thought the experience reaffirmed their feelings for each other.

Quinn and Pierce another couple needing more in their relationship and finding it at the island. My thoughts are they should have talked more at home then they would not have needed the island at all. I wanted more story than is the case in this book.

Other than it was a hot read though I did skip all but the first of the sex scenes.

Blurb: Their love is forbidden, but their hearts aren’t listening to rules and regulations…

Lieutenant Dustin Strauss is a reformed man. No longer a twentysomething hell-raiser, he’s his SEAL team’s new XO—and a man with a secret. Or seven. He’s kept his bisexual identity under wraps for years, along with his kinky side and a fondness for the military-themed semianonymous hookup website Joe4Joe. His latest chat buddy is more than a sexy online distraction—they’re taking their very not-safe-for-work relationship into real time.

Petty Officer Wes Lowe has a smart mouth, a take-charge attitude and an uncanny ability for making things go boom. The life of an enlisted man isn’t always enough to satisfy him, but one wild, no-questions-asked weekend with his online love comes close. When a transfer order comes in, Wes feels ready and centered. He’ll make a good impression on his new SEAL team and keep his growing feelings for Dustin on the down low.

But as they log more time online and some very real emotions surface, Dustin and Wes struggle to pretend they’re just a harmless fling. And when his commander introduces Dustin to his team’s newest member, they’re in for the shock of a lifetime…and a crushing disappointment: their difference in ranks means even a friendship without sexual contact could end their navy careers for good.

With their hearts on the line, Dustin and Wes may not survive their next mission, let alone find a way toward a future together.

Purchase Link: Carina Press | Amazon USAmazon UK

Review: What a deliciously, delightfully dirty book!!! I was dying to read Dustin’s story and while it didn’t disappoint, I have to admit it wasn’t what I was expecting either.

Dustin is Dylan’s brother, a closeted bisexual who is not ready for the world to know the truth about him. While coming to terms with his bisexuality, Dustin has been spending his free time having virtual sex with Wes, an East Coast man who’s far enough from Dustin that he doesn’t have to worry about being found out. A work trip to Washington DC and Wes’s proposal they meet in person sounds too good to pass on, despite Dustin’s hesitation.

Wes is enlisted as a SEAL in the military , and he knows Dustin is in the military as well, but can’t imagine how that would be a problem. Dustin is perfect for Wes and he check every one of his boxes: hot, sexy, submissive, loves to take orders and play innocent little mind games! Meeting Dustin in person would be a great opportunity to figure out if their chemistry is as strong in person as it is on the web. It is! Sweet baby Jesus but these men will have sex hot enough to melt your panties/boxer briefs or whatever the hell you’re wearing! Whew! Dustin loves to be told what to do and Wes loves giving orders… perfect match!

When Wes is given orders to move to the West Coast and join a different SEAL team as an explosions specialist, he comes to the shocking realization that any form of relationship/fraternization with Dustin is totally forbidden. There’s a lot of sorrow and angst both Dustin and Wes had to face because the heart wants what it wants and there’s nothing they could do about that. They try to stay away from each other as much as they can, but they still end up risking their careers for a few stolen moments. What I wasn’t thrilled with was the CONSTANT reminder that ‘we can’t do this’ or ‘this will never happen again’, followed by ‘this is goodbye’. I mean once they realized they need to be with each other, couldn’t they accept they’re going to illegally screw each other’s brains?

This was a very good book that I couldn’t put down! I loved many things about it, including Wes’s close relationship with his family, especially his younger sister. And Apollo and Dylan hot hitched, so all’s good in my world. I can’t wait for the next book!!!!

Review: Murder, loss, a rekindled love and mystery. This book had no shortage of all this. Gage and Forge find themselves in the middle of an investigation into Forge’s husbands murder. What he thought he knew is being turned upside down as new details about the man he was married to come to light.

I loved all the details surrounding all the characters. I felt as though I knew them all with no questions at the end. The investigation was off the charts. I learned a lot about puzzle boxes that I never knew. I appreciated the extra effort put into letting the readers know.

I loved that Gage and Forge rekindled their love years later. Though I was a bit confused at how quickly Forge jumped into it seeing as his husband had just been murdered. Gage and Forge were hot together.

Fantastic read.

Blurb: This year is all about healing the heart, Scorpio. It’s time to leave negative attitudes and stoic facades at the door and let others see the real, more vulnerable you.

Percy Freedman is not grieving. Absolutely not, take that back at once. No, he’s entirely sure that selling his dead aunt’s home and leaving the neighbors he’s known for years is the sane thing to do. Who in their right mind would keep the house that smells like all the hugs he’ll never have again?

Nobody, that’s who.

Well, except his cul-de-sac neighbors. They all seem to think some paint and new furniture will clean the emotional slate. They all want him to stay.

Even his nemesis, Callaghan Glover.

Especially his nemesis, Callaghan Glover.

Lured into a game of Sherlock Gnomes, Percy finds himself hanging out with his neighbors more than might be considered healthy. Along with juggling new and surprising verbal grenades from Cal, and his burgeoning friendship with Gnomber9, Percy is starting to wonder if selling might have been the grief talking after all . . .

That’s right, Scorpio. With a little patience, heartbreak might be a thing of the past . . .

“Scorpio Hates Virgo” contains sarcasm, sexual content, a slightly sappy HEA, and an unhealthy obsession with dinosaurs.
It can be read as a standalone.

Review: I loved EVERYTHING about this story, the heartache, the humor, the sarcasm, the ‘frenemies’ motive…I even loved the way each chapter started with a definition! Such a charming book! My only complaint is that it ended, because I could’ve kept reading about this wonderful cul-de-sac forever and ever!

Percy Freedman is hurting after losing his dear aunt, the one who gave him a home when his parents threw him out. Coming back to her home to clear the rest of her things and put it on the market is breaking his heart, but Percy is not letting himself grieve properly. Grieving his aunt means he has to accept that she’s truly gone, and he’s not ready for that. Playing ‘frenemies’ with his neighbor and the person Percy lusts after is exactly what he needs to get his mind off things.

Callaghan Glover is Percy’s long time nemesis, but Callaghan wants more than anything to be Percy’s friend. Both Percy and Cal enjoy their verbal sparring too much to quit any time soon, but their frenemies status turns into a beautiful friendship. Percy has been lusting after Cal for a very long time, but it takes Cal quite a while to figure out his feelings for Percy, and even longer to feel sexually attracted to him. Cal’s demi-sexuality is subtly introduced to the story and integrated in a way that it made Cal’s behavior and feelings towards Percy make sense. Everything tied together in a seamless way, and I loved that more than I can say.

The secondary characters were amazing, especially Cal’s family and Theo’s mother. But to be totally honest I loved them all, and I adored the gnome games and everything else that made the neighborly/community spirit come shining through.

This book made me swoony and there’s nothing better than that!

Review: Chris is ecstatic when Justin reaches out to him until he sees how Justin is depressed. He now knows that he should have never walked away and sets things right between them while at the same time helping Justin with his issues.

Justin has doubts about himself. Most people do but Justin in swimming in it. He reconnects with his coach Chris in attempt to see past his issues. What starts out as friendship quickly develops into some hot scenes between the two.

As is the case with most of this authors books there is a lot of sex in it. Though I don’t mind a scene here or there I am finding more and more authors are adding an overabundance of sex scenes to their stories for some reason. But the scenes fit this story.

Good read.

Review: Listening to the audio of Leta Blake’s Smokey Mountain Dreams was just audio bliss. There were so many elements of things that I love in an MM book – which I’ll get to in a second. The one thing that was new and different to me was the author and it was certainly a wonderful introduction to a new author and their writing style. Honestly, after listening to this one I am definitely open to either reading or listening to more of Blake’s work.

Now onto the elements that this book has that I love. I’ll list them off and if you got a similar list of likes to me, then this is probably the book/audio for you:

– John Solo narrating – honestly, sometimes that’s all I need,
– Good old Southern charm, manners and hospitality,
– One broken hero and one sweet hero, who in his own way is also broken,
– Sweet kids in need for someone to help keep their family together and mend their father’s heart,
– Two men that are not flawless, their characters and story completely relatable,
– A proper misunderstanding right at the end before anyone can ride off into the sunset, kissing,
– The story of Sadako and the One Thousand Paper Cranes is referenced numerous times. As a kid, I loved this story and was probably the first book that made me cry when I read it at school when I was eight or nine. Fast forward close to twenty years and reading about her story at Hiroshima A-Bomb Museum/Peace Memorial had me ugly crying even more than when I first stepped into the Museum.

The story is about Christopher Ryder. He’s a country singer who never made it in Nashville but makes a decent living in the small town (apologies name has completely escaped me) at the town’s main source of income from the tourist dollars – the theme park Smoky Mountain Dreams. The theme park itself something akin to Dolly Parton’s country and western theme park, not that I know much about it, but for people as clueless as me, that is probably what you’ll think of. Christopher doesn’t have a heck of a lot of confidence in his own abilities, but he enjoys being the step-in actor/singer for the town’s much loved but very much drunk (and debauched) son, Lash. Christopher is a total sweetie, but has had a difficult time from his family, his only real family are his beloved grandmother (as well as his brother in law, Joe, who as a secondary character I fell in love with). He is happy and content with his life, though he has not been lucky in his love life lately.

Christopher’s grandmother is the key to much of the story. She, hilarious woman that she is and another secondary character I fell in love with, is the instigator – whether meaning or not – of most of the story. As it is, her voice is also the voice of Christopher’s conscience, which is also quite amusing. His gran is the type of Gran everyone loves but few of us have had in real life. It is Christopher’s love for her which starts him on the path to the town’s jeweler, Jesse Birch.

Jesse’s life is just as complicated as Christopher’s, which is what I love about both MC’s, their lives are anything but simple but still totally relatable. Jesse is basically a widow (it’s complicated), he has two kids, he makes beautiful jewelry and he is totally in need for someone with as much sweetness as Christopher has to offer to help heal his broken heart. The kids also need some healing, but I enjoyed that Christopher’s sweetness didn’t win over the kids immediately, I liked that both guys needed to put in a lot of hard work and made many mistakes along the way.

The two events at the end of the story, which helped give the guys the final push their romance needed, was not unexpected to me. I knew that either one or both had to happen for the story to finish and I liked how that was executed.

Blurb: Chase Payne is a walking contradiction. He’s the most powerful psychic in the Community, but the least respected. He’s the son of the Community’s founder, but with his tattoo sleeves and abrasive attitude, he’s nothing like his charismatic family. No one knows what to make of him, which is how he wound up locked in a cell on the Farm yet again. But this time, the only man he’s ever loved is there too.

Elijah Estrella was used to being the sassy sidekick who fooled around with Chase for fun. But that was before he realized the Community wasn’t the haven he’d believed in and Chase was the only person who’d ever truly tried to protect him. Now they’re surrounded by people who want to turn them against their friends, and the only way out is to pretend the brainwashing works.

With Chase playing the role of a tyrant’s second-in-command, and Elijah acting like Chase’s mindless sex toy, they risk everything by plotting a daring escape. In the end, it’s only their psychic abilities, fueled by their growing love for each other, that will allow them to take the Community down once and for all.

Review: Not sure what I was expecting when it comes to Chase’s story, but I’m not sure I’m satisfied with what I got. There was too much happening at all times and I felt like the romance between Elijah and Chase was left on the back burner to simmer all by itself. I wanted them to be at the front and center, I needed them to be the focal point of this story! Instead, thinking back on it, I remember more the sickening feeling I got when Will’s twisted mind was focused on raping Elijah. Will was certainly a creepy individual, right up there with the fucked up Jasper and his despicable, torturous ways! Yuck!

There was too much happening in this book, too much angst and horror! Too much uncertainty, distrust, and pain. I felt like I never really got to believe in Elijah and Chase as a couple. Chase loves Elijah more than anything, would do absolutely anything to keep him safe! And Elijah adores Chase, despite Chases’s doubts when it comes to Elijah’s feelings. BUT… I needed more intimacy, more opportunities for Chase and Elijah to cement their relationship and prove they can and will stay together no matter what. I needed some romance to counteract the viciousness, and I didn’t get nearly enough.

This is my least favorite book in the series, but Santino’s talent still shines through. I’m not sure if this is the last book of the series, but I feel like we need some closure and a glimpse into the future. Here’s to hoping for one more!

He wants to take Ellis in hand, to control his life because he wants his friend back, and he figures this is the only way to do it.

Review: Jarod and Eli move to London and open a club called secrets. Wayne is a Dom who has never had a full time Sub due to his feelings for his friend Ellis. Not wanting to ruin the friendship he has never said anything to Ellis.

Ellis starts acting out of character at work almost with no control until Wayne takes matters into his own hands and introduces Ellis to Secrets, the club he frequents. From there it’s freak outs, running, to learning about Ellis’ dysfunctional family to someone manipulating him.

I loved how Wayne was patient. Ellis for his part learns to control his own life and not let family mess with him. There was no shortage of drama and hot sex in this book.

Great read.

Blurb: Spoiler Alert! The following blurb contains spoilers for Insight, book one of The Community.

Holden Payne has it all . . . or so he thinks. As heir to the founder of the Community—an organization that finds, protects, and manages psychics—he’s rich, powerful, and treated like royalty. But after a series of disappearances and murders rock the Community, he’s branded the fall guy for the scandal and saddled with a babysitter.

Sixtus Rossi is a broad-shouldered, tattooed lumbersexual with a man bun and a steely gaze. He’s also an invulnerable—supposedly impervious to both psychic abilities and Holden’s charms. It’s a claim Holden takes as a challenge. Especially if sleeping with Six may help him learn whether the Community had more to do with the disappearances than they claimed.

As Holden uncovers the truth, he also finds himself getting in deep with the man sent to watch him. His plan to seduce Six for information leads to a connection so intense that some of Six’s shields come crashing down. And with that comes a frightening realization: Holden has to either stand by the Community that has given him everything, or abandon his old life to protect the people he loves.

Review: So yeah, I think I’ve developed a little bit of a crush on Six…. over 6 feet of muscles, rocking a beard and a manbun, confident, socially awkward and a virgin. YES, I SAID VIRGIN! *thud!*

Sixtus stands out in a community dominated by psychics for his invulnerability; Sixtus cannot be controlled, cannot be manipulated, cannot be influenced and cannot be read. He’s an ‘ordinary’ man who was born with a natural mind shield that keeps him protected from the psychics in the Community and keeps him safe from those who mean to harm him. Six has never known his parents and grew up on The Farm, where psychic after psychic tried to break him and force him to follow realignment. Six has witnessed the true horror that the Community really is.

While his shield keeps him protected from enquiring minds, it also makes Six unable to grasp sarcasm and to read emotions other people might feel. His social awkwardness is endearing and his gift forces him to be brutally honest and blunt. What’s not to love, right?

So I suppose we all remember Holden from the previous book because he stood out for his skills in man-whoring. Holden pretty much liked to fuck everything that moved, and came across as a privileged rich brat. But if I had his empath abilities that would create a loop-feedback from others during sex (fuck and be fucked at the same time!!!) I’d become the biggest slut on earth, so I’m not judging him at all!

There’s a lot more to Holden than meets the eye (thankfully)…. Holden is vulnerable and doesn’t have the confidence he likes to project. He’s relied on his empath abilities when dealing with people his entire life, so when Six comes along, Holden has to rely on his 5 normal senses, which proves to be more complicated than he’d like.

Things between Six and Holden starts out pretty tense, because Holden thinks Six is nothing more than a cyborg who’s loyalty belongs to Holden’s father. But grudging acceptance turns into grudging sexual friendship. Yes, the sex is HAWT! Trust is earned and new feelings come into play, and slowly, the true reality of what The Community really is comes to light. There’s a lot happening from here on out and it’s totally fast paced and fascinating. The world building is so well done, I’ve started to actually believe in it!

I can’t wait for Chase and Elijah’s story even while I dread it; the partial cliffhanger concerning these two is making me wary and impatient at the same time. This book was great, my only complaint (which isn’t really a complaint) is that I wanted more private moments between Six and Holden. Fantastic series!

Review: These are the only books I have read in this series except for the last book which I also reviewed separately. I liked the snarkiness of the subs in this bundle. They are all not without their own struggles but seem to overcome them with the help of the Doms who take the time and patience to learn who they are.

Damien’s Discipline has Dom Damien and Sub Jeff. Jeff has been horribly abused by a complete disgusting waste of human space who is prison where he belongs. As a result Jeff does not trust anyone for anything and I honestly did not blame him. Damien patiently works out a way to help Jeff with what he needs.

Make Me Soar has Dorian a self proclaimed pain slut looking for that certain Dom to take him to the place he so desperately seeks. Dom Alan learns Dorian goes to Berlin to achieve this goal and so goes after him with Leo. What they find is horrifying to say the least. But it all works out in the end.

I really enjoyed Dom of Ages a lot. Jarod is fifty and a sub. After having lost his master he is determined, in my opinion, to stay true to his master. Eli is thirty and looking for someone more mature than what he has been seeing in the clubs when he sees Jarod. After a few mishaps they get together. I loved this couple and the age difference. So many times the Sub is barely legal with a much older man so it was refreshing to read about the reverse.

Beginnings and Endings is the first book I read in this series so I was a little confused about the couples. But I still enjoyed the story about a Dom Darren and a Sub JJ who with training from Thomas learn to be what the other needs in a relationship.

Review: Holy shit, this book was EVERYTHING I could hope for and worlds more than I expected. I love a good mystery book, and while I’m very picky when it comes to the paranormal genre, Psy stuff is right up my alley! It’s like Santino read my mind and wrote the PERFECT book just for me! (Let me be delusional a little while longer!)

Nate Black came from a family of inbred psychics with a long history of mental illness and suicidal tendencies. When Nate’s estranged twin is found dead and his death is rules as a suicide, Nate has a hard time believing it. Sudden ‘dreams’ that allow him to see and feel his brother’s murder make Nate determined to go to New York and try to find his brother’s killer. Hitch-hiking is not a good idea and Nate rapidly realizes that his poorly developed empath abilities can be a blessing as much as a curse.

Narrowly escaping climbing into the wrong car, Nate is fortunate enough to be offered a ride by Trent, a young engineer whose honesty and sarcasm comes across as brash and somewhat insulting. The heat and chemistry that sparks between them is unlike anything I’ve ever encountered before. Can you imagine what happens when a psychic empath finds his soul mate, the one and only person who he can trust with his feelings and his secrets? Delve into this story and you’ll find a chemistry unlike any other, sex so hot it’s hard to wrap your head around it; a circuit of emotions and lust and pleasure that feeds off both men and loops from Nate to Trent and back until explosive orgasms will blow the reader’s mind right off. I’ve never felt dizzy after a sex scene before but I’m happy this book was my first.

Once arrived to New York, Nate discovers the existence of the Community and meets other people with psychic powers of all kinds. Elijah is a very flirty young man who used to be very good friends with Nate’s twin brother; Holden is a very lonely club owner who’s a good man at heart but who doesn’t think twice about using his persuasive powers to try to get into Nate’s pants; Chase is the most powerful of them all and my absolute favorite secondary character. I suspected Beck wasn’t as close to a void as she led them all to believe, and she was my least favorite of them all (that Bitch!).

This book is full of mystery and suspense and will most certainly keep you on edge. There’s never a dull moment, but the series of events never become overwhelming, they just flow naturally until this beautiful, crazy, suspenseful story is created. I loved everything about it!!! THAT EPILOGUE THOUGH… I loved seeing Trent and Nate happily together in California, but setup for the next book made me lose my damn mind. I need the second book right NOW!

Blurb: In all his relationships, Darren Fielding never found the level of intimacy he witnessed between Thomas Williams and his sub, Peter, the day of Peter’s “rebirth.” Not only that, he never realized such intimacy was possible. For two years, Thomas’s business card has been burning a hole in his wallet. When Darren’s lover moves on, maybe it’s finally time to see where that card takes him.

Collars & Cuffs’ new barman, JJ Taylor, is really conflicted right now. He went to the club with a very specific purpose, already convinced of what he’d find there. Except it’s not what he expected at all. He certainly didn’t anticipate finding himself drawn to the new wannabe Dom. Nor could he have guessed the direction that attraction would lead him.

Old love, new love, vows, pain, rage, moving in, moving on…. The members of Collars & Cuffs face an event that touches some of them deeply, but it will only reinforce what they already know: together they are stronger, and some bonds cannot be broken.

Review: I do not normally read books in a series out of order but this one was in the review list so I grabbed it along with many others to shorten the list. As a result this is the only book in the series I have read so far.

I loved this story yet felt at times I was missing some vital pieces of the puzzle as many characters and couples were in this well written book. Never the less I enjoyed reading about each one. I could almost feel the characters emotions as I read.

This story will stick with you long after you have finished it. My curiosity for how the other characters began has grown and one day I will read the whole series.

Great read.
