That’s My Ethan

by

Tarian ps

This is our story, mine and Ethan’s.
It is our story about two gay men, (well, one gay and one bi), beating the false pretenses that gay men can’t know love at first sight, let alone stay together, happily ever after. They are all wrong.

I’m not a gay married man, I’m a happily married gay man.

And I am going to prove it.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

They met in college. Damir was a player in every sense of the word and proud of it– Ethan wanted nothing to do with the game; yet neither would deny the attraction they shared was too potent to resist. So what are two young men to do when the lines are too irresistible not to cross? A safeword.

It was a lifestyle structure that gave them the means to grow together, even as they struggled to understand it along the way. But what never wavered was who they’d set their goals to be with. Sometimes you just know. The challenge is making it possible.

West Coast

(Up In The Air 02)
by

George Loveland

Max Cooper has never known love and uses drink to numb the feelings of rejection he’s faced with. It doesn’t help him in his career as an air steward when after a very drunken night his best friend swaps their flights over so Max can keep his job.

When Max flies out to Los Angeles, his patience is tested when he offers to help fellow air steward and rising drag queen, Dai Zee, with her costume changes at the best drag club in LA, Flamingos. While he watches Dai Zee perform, he catches the eye of a guy in the corner, but fails to find him when the performance ends. An ill-timed text message sends Max back to the bottle, and into the bed of a man he doesn’t know, and doesn’t want to be with.

The next night at Flamingos he finds the man he was searching for, but it’s not as easy as he’d hoped. Antonio Baldini isn’t interested in a drunken Max and rejects his advances until another drag queen, Miss Crystal, plays a hand in getting the two of them together. As Max and Antonio step past the initial confusion, they tread carefully with each other, neither one wanting to get hurt.

Even when Max is back in London, the late-night video calls don’t stop, but it’s when they are reunited in Las Vegas that things turn serious.

Max can’t shake his past, and someone is out for him and his job – trying to stop him from flying altogether. He’s worried about what it will mean for his new relationship if he can’t fly; and whether he can stay away from the drink long enough to be with a man who seems to care for him.

Prowl by Alexis Duran

Title: Prowl

Series: Jacqui the Cat Mysteries 01

Author: Alexis Duran

Genre: Paranormal, Fantasy

Length: Short Story

Publisher: ShadowSpinners Press (May 29, 2018)

Heat Level: Low

Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥ 3.5 Hearts

Blurb: Jacqui Corleone is a fashion designer, a yoga-instructor and a concerned citizen who selflessly helps the police solve crimes. Oh, and he occasionally turns into a small wild cat. Probably due to a wizard’s curse or an evil government plot to create super warriors.
Or, he’s a cat cursed to turn into a human and only the bite of a sexy alpha lion will allow him to remain in his superior form of Cat.

Jacqui does not have a split personality, but sometimes his cat personality can get rather loud.
Jacqui Corleone is a cat shifter who doesn’t know why or how he turns into a cat. He lives a solitary life in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. He’s not afraid of intimacy (yes, he is) but sensibly refrains from potentially awkward entanglements. Unfortunately, the sexy new deputy sheriff just moved in across the street and Jacqui’s vow not to get mixed up with island dudes is sorely challenged.

When the mysterious disappearance of three blue pots draws Jacqui to investigate, he prowls ever deeper into danger–and into the arms of Deputy Wyatt West (he wishes).

Review: Jacqui is a very unique young man who can change into a cat with an attitude. He has his eye on one sexy Deputy but to bad the man thinks his cat side is satan. Well you got to admit that Cat kind of had it coming.

With this story you get most of the dialog from Jacqui and the cat, not so much from Wyatt. I will admit that I thought this story would have gone in a different direction but this story was kind of interesting. It was a very slow moving story that ended before it really got to the good stuff.

It was interesting, funny and sweet type of story with a unique story line. My problem with it was the fact that it didn’t go anywhere. I am afraid that right now, this is not my type of story. We will see if book two is any better and hope there is no drop off.

Blurb: Two men haunted by the same ghost…

Falling for “the other man” in my marriage was never part of the plan. Then again, according to Nicolae Ursache, I am the other man, and human wedding vows don’t apply. Not to werewolves.

Nicolae is a smug, arrogant alpha male stereotype–and I do mean alpha in the literal sense–but when the same people who killed my wife kidnap my teenage daughter, he’s my only chance at getting her back. The fact that Nicolae was my wife’s rightful mate means that we share a mutual interest in bringing Ellie home, but I never could’ve imagined how he planned to do it.

I will do anything to protect my daughter. Even if it means becoming the plaything, or worse, of the man I loathe most.

This dark shifter romance contains material suitable for adult audiences only. It is a standalone with full resolution.

Review: This was a really awesome story. Jack is a human and after the death of wife he decides him and his daughter need a change of scenery so they move to a place where everything at first glance becomes so much worse than what they left.

Nicolai, the alpha of the Ursache pack, is angry. He is furious with Franchesca for leaving him all those years ago and marrying Jack. He convinces Jack the only way to get back Ellie, his daughter, after she’s kidnapped by her grandparents is to mate with him. There is so much to this story. Twists and turns and revelations come to light that will change more than a few lives.

Intense, passionate, mysterious, suspenseful and highly addictive this story will have you on the edge of your seat. I absolutely loved it and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Highly recommended.

Review: Each book in the Demonic Tales collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Bo was pretty much raised by the ruling father when his family had been killed in an explosion. He had done all that he could and needed to do to make colbot warrior status. Now he was their commander and wore that with pride. When his group saved his Prince’s mate and another young man from being sold off, he knew that his heart has been given to the young man. However demons don’t date, they screw. However Bo knew that he was going to have to go slow and learn to date.

Ari is a sweet young man who has been belittled his entire life by his family and others. He was unique in the fact that he could have children but it made him easy to sell to others. When he was rescued by the demon’s he was frightened but strangly he felt protected by their commander. He just needed to remember that when his mother shows up and starts her crap, as usual.

Bo and Ari were a big hit with me, and the best part was Bo’s reaction to Ari’s surprising news. Just wait for it, because it will have you laughing. Ari was the biggest hit and boy is that young man going to be a handful.

This story was fascinating and made me want to read book one again as well as read this one a second time. I can tell with the first paragraph that it will be one of my favorite series and will be read many times over. It has excitement, hot sexy time, danger and some crazy attitudes in it, and so much more than what I could have asked for. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end, so much so that I stayed up way past my bed time to read it.

I cannot wait to start reading the next book and would definitely recommend it.

Review: Harlan and Nathan have been though a lot together. They met during the first world war and have been together ever since. They are partners on the force and have the responsibility of taking down dangerous criminals. I loved the atmosphere of the book. I could feel the era purring through the words.

There is quite a lot of story packed into this short read but it’s well written and has a host of characters that bring the story to life. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Great read.

Review: Each book in the Tribal Bonds collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jesse had betrayed his brother multiple times, but he had also been hiding a secret. A secret that got him into more than one time of trouble. However he had not known that his bother was mated to a paranormal. Hell he had not even known vampires existed and it had cost his brother’s mate. Now here he was in the same condition as his brother, mated to a paranormal. He was mated to a beta wolf.

Kerry figured out Jesse’s secret and knew that only he could give it to him. The dangers in the family was going to cost his little mate. However Jesse had information they needed, now if only they would get their heads out of their asses.

I didn’t much care for the part where Jesse was injured so badly. That part made the book go down in my eyes. Other than that this is one pretty amazing story. I always loved Stormy Glenn’s books and I can see it never changing. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I loved the chemistry the guys have, the dangers and excitement this story brings.

I had a lot of fun reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Reviewer: Shorty

Review: I was anxiously looking forward to this story coming out after reading book five. I wanted to know more about Albrecht and if my suspicion was correct. I was happy to say it was but it was also so much more than I ever thought. I loved learning about Albie’s past as tragic as it was. Vann’s past however I suspected after the first couple of paragraph’s of this story.

It as still a wild ride with all the sentinel’s, fallen knights and the new mystery surrounding the three resurrected warlocks. I love this series so much. Drama, suspense, mystery, action and love all packed into each well written story.

This is one of my favorite books in the series so far. I loved reading about Albie and Vann. This couple was definitely done so wrong and for a disgusting reason as homophobia. I was incensed at the way they were treated especially Vann. You’ll have to read the story to find out what I’m talking about as I won’t spoil what happened.

Heart breaking yet joyous is the emotions that come front and center when looking back on this story. I felt so bad for what Albie endured for a very long time. My heart wept at the injustices done to him and Vann yet at the same time I was happy and thrilled with the end of their story.

I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Highly recommended.

John Mitchell was a despicable man, from what Dorran learns, but no one deserves to have their head bashed in. Things are never easy for Dorran, though, and he has to deal with nosy neighbors, his angry ex, and…a ghost? He really didn’t mean to stick his nose in the investigation, but it’s not his fault everyone seems to prefer talking to him instead of the cops, even when he really would rather not listen. And it’s also not his fault that the dead guy seems to have killed his uncle—and that the uncle still haunts the apartment. If only his ex could understand that. Dorran wants a second chance with Eli, but Eli seems to think Dorran is sticking his nose into things on purpose.

Will Dorran manage to convince Eli he didn’t mean to get involved? Will he find out who killed John Mitchell before that person decides to take out someone else? He knows he should, because with his luck, that next person is going to be him.

Review: I wonder how it feels to get smacked on the ass by a ghost. I bet that Dorran never once thought that when he moved into his new apartment. Although when he started to move in several problems showed up. One his apartment was still full of the dead guys stuff and then he found a dead body in the storage area, so ghost were no big deal. The big deal was the detective to show up, you guessed it, his ex-boyfriend.

Eli had been angry at first when he saw the man he had loved once, but got dumped by also. He knew from past experience that Dorran also would not stop trying to figure out what happened to the dead guy either. Sparks are about to show up.

The ghost was a great idea for this book. I got a kick out of Dorran and the ghost. Eli was a little harder to like but then again he comes off a bit gruff, with good reason though. Very quirky story that kept my attention to the very end. I got a kick out the whole book. It was exciting, fascinating, dangerous and some hot sexy time. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this book.

(Fox Lake 02)
by

Marina Vivancos

Isadoro and Iván have known each other all their lives. They were raised together in La Portera, between the orange trees and water reservoirs, under an endless blue sky. That’s where Iván’s love for Isadoro grew, too. From the earth and water, organic and helpless.

Isadoro leaves for the military when they are both eighteen, but a thread remains. Phone calls, Skype sessions, rests between tours…it’s never quite enough.

After eight years, Isadoro comes back. An already complicated situation is tangled further as they rekindle the “benefits” part of their friendship. The heat between them has always been undeniable, and now it scorches through them.

All seems well in the beginning, but nothing is ever so simple. Iván’s love cannot simply banish the insomniac shadows of the past, but perhaps they can face what the night brings—together.

Please note: This story contains themes of affected mental health following the return from military combat. However, the ultimate focus of the story is on hope and recovery.

This story also contains explicit scenes of a sexual nature.

Review: Aubrey and FBI agent Jun have plans to start their relationship off with two weeks of sightseeing and enjoying each other to the fullest. What they do not expect is finding a skeleton in the closet and investigating a murder.

I loved the perfect blend of the MC’s romance and the mystery throughout the story. The mystery itself was fascinating. I loved all the details surrounding the investigation.

Murder, mystery, romance, treasure and a great cast of characters made for an amazing story. I found I could not stop reading from beginning to the end.

Fantastic read.

Review: Each book in the Cloverleah Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Marius and one of his older brothers had basically lived a life of hell. His oldest brother had taken off and did well for himself, never knowing what he had left them behind in. Sixty years ago, he had killed their father, bring his little brothers with him. However abuse from a loved one never truly goes away, and Marius was still suffering from it. He is a strong wolf shifter and even though he desired and wanted a mate, he feared it also. Now that time has come.

Cathair is the Battle Lord for the elven realm. His father is the High Elder, ruler of their people, and Cat is his heir. He knew from the seer’s, that his mate was a offworlder, or on Earth as it is said. He just wished he would meet him. Their way of life is to marry and have as many strong kids as they can, then divorce when they find their mates. However for Cat, he did not want to do that. Sent to the Cloverleah Pac to help them fight what is coming, leads him to his mate. A mate that runs away.

With all the danger that is going on with the pack, these two are not having a very good mating. These two can talk to each other, but it like their communication is in a different language. Now the story is a strong story that will keep your attention the whole time. However it doesn’t seem to flow the way it should. It felt like quite a bit of the story was thrown in for word count, and should have been left out. It felt chunky I guess is the word. It doesn’t really take away from the story, but I did feel like putting the book down and taking a break, which is never good for me. Other than that, it is a really good story.

Other than my little problems with the book, I did enjoy reading it and look forward to the next story. Although I really didn’t like the part about Wesley, and hoped that it was just magic, and they can fix him. Guess we will have to see.

Review: Ryder is a fire witch and a necromancer. He keeps this hidden from everyone even his hot friend Liam, a water witch. But as things progress and feelings are grown the secret threatens to come out in the form of losing control of said magic.

I liked the overall feel of this story. The history and characters were intriguing. The story centers on Ryder and the way he learns about himself and deals with certain situations. it’s a learning experience to be sure. Liam’s character was right there offering his support and the feelings between the two were a constant.

Great beginning to a series.

Review: Each book in the Demons Hearts collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across this author a short time ago when she came out with her first story and was amazed by the worlds she creates. The characters are fully developed and they make me feel like I am right there with them. you can see their feelings, their compassion, their faith, their loyalty and their love for each other. The way Catherine puts her words together makes it feel like you are right there fighting with them and for them. It is a fast paced story that will fascinate you and keep you entertained.

When Lewis was younger his mother had been attacked by a demon and scared him. They escaped but it left him not trusting them at all. Lewis had basically grew up with aiden and Chase. When they were in their teens Lewis had kissed him, then ran. They just kept it at friendship but damn Chase wanted more. Now fifteen years later, he might just get his wish. That is after they find out who was stalking Lewis.

Aiden’s mother had been raped by a nasty demon, which gave her Aiden. His mother loved him even after how he was conceived. She loved them all, and when someone came to their friendship, she added them into the family. He fell in love with Lewis so many years ago, but he feared what would happen, if Lewis found out he was half demon. But he could wait first they needed to find out who wanted Lewis and who was also after Aiden.

This is one of those stories that will be read more than once. I enjoyed reading it and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend it.
