When Lander accepts a dare to go into the forest at night, he thinks it’ll be easy. He just needs to walk in and then come out, right? But that’s easier said than done. It’s like the trees have a mind of their own, and they are stopping him from finding his way back. There were always stories of people getting lost forever in the forest, but Lander had never considered they might be true.
Yban has been in the forest a long time and he knows it like no other—but he comes with his own secrets. He disappears every day, and he won’t tell Lander where he goes. But during the dark hours, Lander gets to know him and starts unwrapping the layers that surround him.
The fire that keeps them warm in the forest isn’t the only spark between them; will their growing relationship survive Lander’s determination to find the way out, or will Yban’s past mistakes keep them hidden in the forest forever?

Blurb: Prince Ivan’s father believes his sons should find wives the traditional way–by going on a quest. This most fervent wish sends Ivan to his destiny. A magical forest, swamps, and strange dreams are just the beginning of the prince’s bad luck. Not only does his chosen bride prove to be a frog, she is also a he!
With an ancient magic involved, Ivan and Vasiliy the frog have no choice but to marry. But their problems aren’t over yet. First a test of worthiness threatens their blossoming relationship. Then there is the small matter of the magical curse Vasya is under. Finally, Ivan’s impatience rips the two apart.
Can the prince fulfill the impossible quest and thwart the most feared wizard in the world (aka his father-in-law) to get his frog back? And will Vasya begin an all-out magical war to return to his prince?
Review: Ivan’s father loves sending his sons on quests. This time he thinks it is time for his sons to find their other halves so has them shoot fate magic arrows in different directions and follow them to where they landed. This is where Ivan meets Vasya. Unbeknownst to him Vasya is the son of a powerful wizard being punished along with his friends for a prank gone wrong. So when the two meet Vasya and his friends are in their animal skins.
I really enjoyed the story and the subsequent adventure these two journeyed upon. Ivan is resourceful and gets help from Vasya’s friends unbeknowst to him. I loved everything about this story. It was cute, sweet, adventurous and action packed.

Huge, horrid creatures with a taste for human flesh have been invading Seacliff Manor and its surrounding lands for years. Ghouls are coming from another world through portals made of magic. No one knows why or how, but nothing good ever comes with them.
During a hunting trip, Eamon encounters one such monster and falls through a portal into the ghoul’s hellacious desert home world. Separated from his home, his friends, and his lover, with no magic of his own and no sign of other life, Eamon expects to die there…until an encounter with a lone stranger gives him hope. There is a way home. But can Eamon survive alone in ghoul-infested terrain long enough to get there?
Worlds away, the Lord of Seacliff Manor is determined to bring Eamon home. Despite all evidence to the contrary, Rafe knows his human lover is alive. It’s just a matter of finding out where. To that end, Rafe has a plan. It’s dangerous, perhaps even suicidal, but he’ll do anything to save the man he loves.
From different sides of the galaxy, the lovers fight monsters and seek magic with one goal in mind: reunion. Monsters aren’t the only things they’ll have to defeat to find their way back to each other, and the horrors uncovered along the way may be more than they can handle.
Blurb: Life in Corent is exciting and challenging. As one of the main paranormal communities you never know what might be around the corner.
Matt’s life has always been peaceful. He splits his time between helping at his mama’s shop, and spending time with family, friends, and his coven. Yet, when his magic becomes increasingly unstable, he finds himself shunned and cast away as people fear what is happening to him.
Feeling lost and alone, and his magic becoming ever more erratic, Matt’s thoughts turn inward as he tries to work out just who he is and what being a mage means to him.
Matt draws strength from his best friend Charlie, and the powerful tiger shifter family, the Vaughn’s.
Frequent visits from Tyler, and messages from a mystery man, provide the only break from the melancholy he feels like he’s drowning in. Yet, even that complicates his life further, as he struggles with growing emotions toward both of them.
When unexpected events bring radical changes to Matt’s life, the news shocks him and those closest to him. Yet, as scary as everything is, it helps him see who is truly a friend and who is a foe, and that it isn’t always blood that means family.
No one knows what these changes mean, leaving Matt to weave his way through the knowledge and find what his true path is meant to be. Finding the strength to stand for himself, but also allowing those around him to support him, he comes to find that there is so much more to him than he thought possible, and that love can come from unexpected places.
Just when he didn’t think life could get any darker, light comes, showing him that his future holds more than he ever imagined.
Review: Matt struggles with life and it’s further complicated when his magic becomes unstable. His family is no help as they turn away from him. Charlie, Matt’s best friend, tries to help as much as he can. But Matt continues a downward spiral.
Tyler decides it’s time to let his feelings be known to Matt and so the wooing begins, which was sweet and in the nick of time.
With his friends helping Matt begins to grow in confidence. Tyler is a shot in his quest to gain Matt’s love. I loved these two together.

Blurb: This isn’t his sister’s Wonderland….
Henry never believed his older sister Alice’s fantastic tales about the world down the rabbit hole. When he’s whisked away to the bizarre land, his best chance for escape is to ally himself with the person called the Mad Hatter. Hatter – an odd but strangely attractive fellow – just wants to avoid execution. If that means delivering “Boy Alice” to the Queen of Hearts at her Red Castle, Hatter will do what he has to do to stay alive. It doesn’t matter if Henry and Hatter find each oth-er intolerable. They’re stuck with each other.
Along their journey, Henry and Hatter must confront what they’ve always accepted as truth. As dislike grows into tolerance and something like friendship, the young men see the chance for a closer relationship. But Wonderland is a dangerous place, and first they have to get away with their lives.
Review: Mad About the Hatter is an audio for a book that I remember reading a couple years ago. I remember that I loved reading the book and was totally keen on listening to the audio.
Dakota Chase isn’t really an author on my radar and I think this was the first time I had read the author’s work initially a couple years ago. But the writing is fun and even though it is a fantasy based on a classic book, the story doesn’t feel completely ridiculous. The narration was also awesome. I don’t actually remember the narrator’s name, although when I heard him talking I know I’ve heard his narration at least once before and like this time, I am sure it was a pleasing audio experience. I particularly loved the voices that Froomkin gave these classic characters that we know so well, especially Hatter, the Tweedles and the Chesire Cat.
Mad About the Hatter is a story that is about a sweet, quiet romance with a dash of friendship and adventure, all set in the world of Lewis Carrol’s Alice in Wonderland. It’s an interesting spin on the classic, where the events of the book take place after Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. The story itself is more of an young adult read than anything else because this story is essentially eighteen year old Henry coming to terms with his own identity – having a coming of age adventure and falling in love.
Anyone who likes urban fantasies and new takes on classic tales would enjoy this story, although if you’re dead set against young adult fiction, then this probably isn’t what you’re looking for.
The story starts with Henry. He and his sister, Alice, do not have an easy relationship, despite the fact that their only other family is their possibly alcoholic father and mysterious/random Uncle Leonard. The main problem is that Alice likes to talk about her time in Wonderland which Henry knows that logically could not have happened at all. I was siding with Henry there although Henry is a bit of brat at the start of this book. Then his sister gave him punch and Henry’s world changes to the surreal.
We meet up with the Mad Hatter. The Red Queen is getting more insane by the day and is having people beheaded left, right and centre. When Hatter is sent after “Boy Alice”, we have the quirky adventure throughout Wonderland not unlike the original. We also meet other familiar characters, aside from the Red Queen, including Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Cheshire Cat as well as that opium fiend Caterpillar.
There is not a lot of romance, there is very little in the way of sex but there are some rather sweet moments between Hatter and Henry. I particularly liked the end but it left me thinking “but I want more!!!!” but in a totally good way.

Blurb: .All Solae wants is to be accepted and loved by the family that has always rejected him. But given it was his late mother who cursed the kingdom to eternal winter, the chances of that happening are minimal. If he can find a way to break the curse, however, surely that would be enough to change their minds regarding him.
But Solae is forbidden to practice magic because of his mother, which limits his ability to pursue solutions. Desperate for advice and new ideas, he contacts a famous curse breaker—and has no idea what to do when the man unexpectedly shows up, handsome and friendly and dangerously intriguing.
I loved Solae. I felt he was born into a family that did not care anything for him and treated him wrong. A rescuer in the name of Millio comes to save him from said family.
The story was short but good. The only gripe I have is that the people doing Solae wrong never paid for their misdeeds against him and that pissed me off.
Other than it as a really good read.
Pixie’s Review: 💖💖💖💖 4 Hearts
This story is a great version of the Snow White fairytale. Solae is the son of the ‘evil’ witch and the King, after the King is convinced by others that his new Queen is an evil witch he has her killed and she curses the Kingdom, Solae is left behind to bear the brunt of hate when the Kingdom falls into an endless winter.
Millio is a magic user who has secrets of his own but when he is contacted by Solae about his Kingdom’s curse he travels to the Kingdom to help out, but what he discovers is a sweet gentle prince who is despised because of his fathers vanity.
I enjoyed this story immensely and cheered for Solae and Millio as they got to know each other, the treatment that the pair receive makes you gnash your teeth at the injustice done to the both of them and you really do hope that rather than break the curse that they leave it in place for all the petty minded people in the Kingdom.
You’ll enjoy this if you love old fairytales with a new twist, characters who overcome those around them, and a great ending.

Blurb: Zachary Bradford has spent his whole life running from the future he’s seen, not wanting to accept it. He definitely doesn’t want anything to do with Titus Lucius, the man his parents have arranged for him to marry, and who he’s secretly loved for years.
Titus has been tasked with finding the new Royal Seer. A search that leads him to his betrothed, Zachary. He must make Zachary accept both their new relationship, and the future he’s running from. He doesn’t have an easy time of it, as Zachary is determined to keep him at arm’s length, and hide from the truth of his own destiny.
The final battle for the balance of both our world and the Nether is finally at hand, and everything hinges on Zachary’s ability to see the future. He must accept fate, even if that means losing the one person he loves above all.
Review: Because of a future he has seen in a vision Zachary does everything he can to push Titus away from him. He does not want to be a royal seer in the least. Titus is tasked to find the royal seer and is surprised when he discovers who it is.
I really liked Titus and Zachary. Though I understood Zachary’s fear his constant moodiness got on my nerves. Titus was strong and determined which I liked in a character. This was a great addition to the series that I enjoyed reading.

Cheron, former rebel leader and newly crowned king, comes to Wren Gardens on a holy mission to free his goddess from exile and bring peace to his kingdom, but he’s distracted by an unholy and very beautiful concubine, Ekos.
Ekos may be more than a simple love slave, though. The King of Wren Gardens seems afraid of the strange and often blasphemous concubine and swears the man is cursed. Cheron agrees, especially when Ekos mocks and taunts Cheron’s sense of honor. But the urge to distance himself from Ekos can’t compete with the desire to remain close. Nor is it as strong as the urges in his body—urges he hasn’t felt in years.
As Cheron tries to refocus on his mission, Ekos throws him off again—this time by offering to help him in his holy quest. Cheron knows he shouldn’t trust a man who’s in the employ of a rival king, particularly not one who seems to know all Cheron’s deepest secrets. But he can’t ignore the signs from the goddess telling him to entwine his fate with this tricky, captivating man.
He prays the signs aren’t simply wishful thinking, manifestations of his very unholy desires. Time is running out, and Cheron is falling deeper for Ekos—and deeper into danger of another betrayal. One that could cost him his life.
Blurb: Milo can’t remember a normal life outside the farm. The vampire blood farm. He knew it wasn’t right, he knew there was something out there better for him, but he never had the chance to escape, or to know a proper life. His feelings for Orin, the dominant wolf shifter who arrived out of the blue, who looked at Milo with such heat, made him want to live again.
When Orin pulls Milo out of the vampire farm, he can barely let himself hope for something with the other man. One kiss is all it takes to let Milo know this is the real deal.
And then Orin abandoned him.
Heartbroken, Milo never thought he would see him again, so when Orin returns, broken and on the brink of death, Milo will do what needs to be done to return the favor to his mate, and get his answers.
Review: I loved this story of Orin trying to do what is right and Milo demanding to stay by his side when Glendon banishes him from the pack for what he did to Jake. Milo was a sweet, timid fox shifter saved from the vampire blood farm by Orin.
He’s also Orin’s mate. Along with the struggle still between Fergus and Parker and the two disappearing after vampires attack while they are out made for an interesting story.

Malachite~
I have a wonderful life. I have no room to complain; between my brothers and their new mates, this is the most alive our home has felt since my parents died. Unfortunately, all of them being mated is making me miserable. When it was just the four of us, it was us against the world. Now they’re paired up and it’s only me and my dragon, Kesia. Until I happen to walk into the Overlord’s Lair and I see him: Quentin. Mine. Mate. As much as I want to win him over without telling him I’m a dragon rider and we’re mates—which I know he’d love—I’m not sure I can. The minute I’m around him I act like an idiot.
Quentin~
Every time the goofy guy walks into my store, he brightens my day, and I look forward to his daily visits. There’s just something about him that draws me to him, to the point he leaves me pining after him the moment he’s gone. But the thing is, I can tell he’s hiding something, and my wild imagination is coming up with the craziest explanations of the secrets he’s keeping. Maybe he’s a vampire that’s come to whisk me away—ridiculous, right? But a guy can dream. And I’ve definitely been dreaming of that big, muscular man wrapping me in his arms at night.
Malachite is the final book in The Brotherhood of Ormarr series. While each book focuses on a different couple, the overall story arc concludes in this installment. For maximum enjoyment, we suggest reading in order. Malachite is a m/m romance, and is recommended for adults 18 years and older.

I’ve been training my entire life for this; I need to be the best, the best fighter, the best dragon rider in the entire brotherhood. This is what I was born for. The only problem is that my bonded dragon, Bodhi, and I can’t seem to get it together. One minute I think we’re connecting properly, and the next she’s taking off, leading me to the one guy I don’t want to know: Slash. He’s basically the opposite of me in every way, and I don’t get why he’s suddenly everywhere I turn, but I can’t deny how he makes me feel when he looks at me.
Slash~ Three years ago my sister and I had to come to a new town and started new schools without our parents’ unconditional love and support. My uncle’s an uncaring drunk, so I’m doing the best I can to keep us both clothed and fed with only an after school job. If I didn’t have her to live for, the loneliness would be excruciating. Now, with only a few months until graduation, I’ve suddenly made a friend because of my sister, and another guy keeps stumbling into me who I think needs help: Eeli. I don’t understand why no one else sees how oddly he’s behaving, but I can’t deny my attraction for him is growing with every mishap.
Eeli is the third book in The Brotherhood of Ormarr series. While each book focuses on a different couple, the overall story arc continues in the next installment. For maximum enjoyment, we suggest reading in order. Eeli is a m/m NA romance, and is recommended for adults 18 years and older.

Blurb: Alek’s older brother, Justice—the Alpha Zenith—was the first shifter to mate with a vampire in many generations, and it was believed the rare, fated pairing would stop at him. But, it hadn’t. Aleksei ‘Alek’ Volkov was second beta, next in succession to the most powerful shifter in the world. He was proud of his title and he took his duties seriously. It was all he had. Until his true mate literally showed up on his doorstep.
While his brother—the overachiever—excelled at having a vampire as a mate, Alek wasn’t that optimistic he would. He wasn’t averse to love, and he’d often thought of how different his life could’ve turned out if he’d ever experienced the emotion. His life was a mess and he’d worn a mask of stability for a majority of that time, only showing his siblings and pack what they needed to see—a strong Volkov alpha. Not the damaged man he was, with a tortured soul and a rogue wolf.
Alek dropped his heavy head in his hands. Now, for some reason, I’ve been granted a true vampire mate. And not just any vampire. The intimidating Belleron Liatos. Lord High to the King and the leader of his army.
Belleron ‘Bell’ Liatos had come to the states for one reason—his best friend and Vampire King, Chadwick Bentley. He certainly didn’t come to be pounced on by a wolf that could act independently of its master. Not only was his destined cherished a complicated and confused man; but he was also unaware of the powerful presence that lurked in the shadows of his soul. Bell didn’t know he’d be the key to unlocking an exceptional triad that would play a critical role in fulfilling the prophesy.
This story DOES NOT contain or even mention MPREG. No multiple pairings. No cliffhangers. Ends with a very HFN.
Warning: This book is M/M paranormal: If you DO NOT like alpha men shifting into large wolves, or vampires feeding from their destined beloveds, than this may not be the novel for you.
Review: This story picks up where the last one leaves off. I loved this story about Bell and Alex. The struggles they go through are tense at times. I was intrigued by Alek’s other halves that reside inside him especially Wrath. Though at times this story seems to slow way down and repeat itself I still loved the way it moved forward eventually.
Bell was perfect for Alek though at times his attitude irritated me. Given that these two are mates it was to be expected that everything would not be sunshine and roses between them. Alek’s three entities are at odds with each other which causes a problem. Eventually they learn to work together instead of against each other.
All in all it was an enjoyable read with drama, action and some tense moments. Add that all together and you get an amazing addition to the series at a whole.

Blurb:Davis~ It was just another job—at least it was supposed to be—but snaring the feisty blue dragon I’d been contracted to collect and her rider in my trap changed everything. Hunting dragons was my job, and I was damn good at it. I’d never missed a target. Never failed to make a delivery. So why was every step toward turning over my bounty suddenly a struggle? No quarry had ever managed to get under my skin, but something in Zale’s haunting blue eyes called to me like nothing ever had before.
Zale~ When Itsaso and I were kidnapped, we fought like hell but found ourselves at the dragon hunter’s mercy. He locked my dragon away, leaving me to face captivity alone. Now, all I have to rely on is the training that’s been drilled into me every day for as long as I can remember and biding my time, waiting for Davis to make a mistake. Or my brothers to find and rescue us. But something happened the first time I truly looked in Davis’s eyes, dark pools as deep and enchanting as the sea, and I realized I was in so much more danger than I thought. How could a ruthless dragon hunter be my perfect mate?
Zale is the second book in The Brotherhood of Ormarr series. While each book focuses on a different couple, the overall story arc continues in the next installment. For maximum enjoyment, we suggest reading in order. Zale is a m/m romance, and is recommended for adults 18 years and older.
Review: Davis is from a clan outside the Brotherhood of Ormarr, a clan who is determined to stop the wraiths and the people who lead them. Ordered to capture a man and his dragon caught on film leading a wraith attack Davis accepts the mission with glee, but the man he kidnaps is tempting in a way that Davis can’t resist no matter how hard he tries.
Zale is enjoying some peace with his dragon Saso when he’s captured and Saso bound to his arm, all Zale can think about is that the Order has captured him. But as time passes he finally discovers why he’s been caught… and it leaves him astounded. His captor may be his mate but Zale won’t let that stop him from escape.
This is an excellent addition to The Brotherhood of Ormarr series. We rejoin the Ormarr brothers with Zale’s story and boy is it a doozy. Zale is kinda lonely, wishing he has what his older brother Azaran has but what he gets is kidnapped and told that he has to answer for his crimes. Davis longs for something long lost and when he’s tasked to bring in a dragon rider who has betrayed his own kind Davis is determined to make him pay.
Now as you know the bond between mates is strong but both Zale and Davis fight it as they view each other as the enemy, but it does help them to listen to each other and get to the bottom of the problem.
This is an excellent story that progresses far quicker that the first book Azaran, in Azaran we were given the background and history and now in Zale the overall ARC of the storyline is more fleshed out, progressing very quickly to the next step but not giving away any secrets, so there’s still much to look forward to in the series concerning the overall ARC.
Zale’s story has him finding his mate but gives him challenges to overcome, Davis isn’t just a filler character either he has his own devastating background but he also has a shocking discovery which leads to an astounding scene that greatly pleases. Now as a couple they are fantastic, they overcome their rocky beginning are hot together but don’t rush things between them. It’s a nicely paced relationship (well for fated mates anyway LOL)
Michelle Frost has written an interesting and exciting story that flows beautifully and keeps you turning the pages. It has excitement and a dash of danger, with a great storyline that expands on the series ARC whetting your appetite for more. An excellent read for anyone who loves paranormal romance.
Blurb: Justice Volkov is the youngest Alpha Zenith to ever lead the wolf shifters. Following in his father’s large paw prints was a responsibility he met head on. Now at age thirty-three, he is alpha of the alphas. As a direct descendant of the original Siberian pack, his wolf is bigger and stronger than Justice himself is sometimes able to control.
His wolf howled long and hard but Justice kept it inside. It felt like a bass drum beating against his rib cage. The harsh breaths, angry snarls, and the determined pacing inside him were overtaking him.
Justice takes his role of leadership and his legacy very seriously. He has little time for romance, not to mention a true mate. His packs are his priority. With a human government trying to regulate them, an uprising of rogue shifters, and a violent team of scientists trying to experiment on them, Justice has his hands way too full.
Chadwick ‘Wick’ Bentley is not enthusiastic when the captain of his escort tells him he has to leave his comfortable London home and go back to the States. As the Vampire King, he has no choice but to get his species back in line before they cause any more chaos. At over one hundred years old, Wick is no one to trifle with, but his smooth, charismatic manner makes him quite unique, despite the negative reputation vampires have. Wick has had nothing but time up to this point. He doesn’t feel the need to make issues pressing. Nothing is urgent in his life. Until he meets Justice. His beloved.
‘Natural enemies can’t be mates.’ Or so Justice thought. He knows his skepticism and rejection is hurting his mate, so while he fights their connection, Wick gets help from a source very close to Justice to help him win his beloved’s heart. Wick is a force all on his own, but when he’s blessed with a special gift from the Mother herself, not even Justice’s powerful wolf can prevent the prophesy from being fulfilled.
Review: When I was given A.E. Via’s Prophesy I didn’t know what to expect. I think I may have heard of the author before, but I’ve never read or heard any of their books in the past. However, I do love me a good shifter/vampire romance, and that made me keen to get through this.
The book starts when we meet Justice Volkov, the Alpha Zenith, i.e. the alpha of all alphas, for the wolf shape shifters. He is a powerful man, despite being only in his early thirties, and his wolf is just as powerful and just as formidable as the man. He doesn’t want to be weak and he wants to lead by example, so when it seems that shifters are causing issues, he wants to get straight into action to fix the problem. His wolf is almost uncontrollable when he meets and rejects his true mate. Justice feels like he has a lot of things to do before he can settle down with a mate, let alone his true mate. It just makes it worse in his human mind that his true mate is the king of the vampires. His wolf longs for his mate, even if the human struggles at first.
Chadwick Bentley, aka Wick, is the king of the vampires. He’s over one hundred years old. With the violence between the wolves and the vampires increasing, he is forced to go to America from his home base in England to deal with the situation personally. That is how he meets his beloved, his mate, and things do not go well at first. On top of this, Wick’s always known that he was different, other than being the king of the vampires, but it seems that his mating opens a whole can of worms. These guys have to work together to get their relationship on an even keel, as well as figure out what the heck is happening in the paranormal world and the new dangers arising that they have to deal with as a team.
Justice and Chadwick are a wonderful couple with explosive chemistry. Even though I didn’t know what to expect, I don’t think I expected the great character development of both the guys, despite the true mate situation usually meaning that we are getting an insta-love storyline. But there were plenty of struggles and that was awesome. I feel that also there was a definite difference shown in the age gap between the two men, because Wick showed a lot more maturity and poise than Justice. Although I’m sure if this is meant to be a product of their ages or of their species. Regardless, I liked it because you got to see them both “grow up” in different ways.
The audio performance by Nathaniel Black was sublime. Nathaniel Black does something that many narrators have trouble with, a credible accent for any foreign main character that didn’t take me a good ten minutes to get used of a slightly off accent. Let’s face it, going between American and English accents, as in the case of this book, can be odd. Beyond brilliant accents, Black also provided the perfect tone and timbre required for the tough and violent world of shape shifters and vampires in a world where interspecies relations is on the cusp of something big and catastrophic.
This was a surprisingly awesome read for me. This is great for people that love a shifter romance, although I felt that there is touch more depth, angst and darkness than some of the books out there, it’s definitely one of the better paranormal/shape shifter romances I’ve recently read. Since we already know the couple of the second book, I’m keen to find out what happens there too.

PROPHESY
The King & Alpha, 01
by
A.E. Via
Justice Volkov is the youngest Alpha Zenith to ever lead the wolf shifters. Following in his father’s large paw prints was a responsibility he met head on. Now at age 33, he is alpha of the alphas. As a direct descendant of the original Siberian pack, his wolf is bigger and stronger than Justice himself is sometimes able to control. His wolf howled long and hard, but Justice kept it inside.
Chadwick “Wick” Bentley is not enthusiastic when the captain of his escort tells him he has to leave his comfortable London home and go back to the States. As the Vampire King, he has no choice but to get his species back in line before they cause anymore chaos. At over 100 years old, Wick is no one to trifle with, but his smooth, charismatic manner makes him quite unique, despite the negative reputation vampires have. Wick has had nothing but time up to this point. He doesn’t feel the need to make issues pressing. Nothing is urgent in his life. Until he meets Justice. His beloved.
“Natural enemies can’t be mates.” Or so Justice thought.

Zale
(The Brotherhood of Ormarr 02)
Michelle Forst
Davis – It was just another job—at least it was supposed to be—but snaring the feisty blue dragon I’d been contracted to collect and her rider in my trap changed everything.
Zale – When Itsaso and I were kidnapped, we fought like hell but found ourselves at the dragon hunter’s mercy. He locked my dragon away, leaving me to face captivity alone. Now, all I have to rely on is the training that’s been drilled into me every day for as long as I can remember and biding my time, waiting for Davis to make a mistake. Or my brother’s to find and rescue us. But something happened the first time I truly looked in Davis’s eyes, dark pools as deep and enchanting as the sea, and I realized I was in so much more danger than I thought. How could a ruthless dragon hunter be my perfect mate?

The Bringer of Wrath

Shifter and Vampire True Mates story.
Alek’s older brother, Justice—the Alpha Zenith—was the first shifter to mate with a vampire in many generations, and it was believed the rare, fated pairing would stop at him.
