Chester knows better than to get involved when a dragon requests his services. Anyone who steals from a dragon’s hoard is not to be screwed with. There’s something alluring about Michal though, and Chester’s always loved playing with fire…
Michal. Dragon shifter, first-born son.
Michal knows exactly who’s taken the centrepiece of his hoard—his estranged brother. The one person he can’t touch thanks to family politics. It seems simple enough to hire the little magpie shifter to retrieve what is his. But, Chester is nothing like Michal expected, and in the end he might need to decide whether the last piece of his mother is worth more than the man who could own his heart.
Review: Chester is hired by Michal to steal a painting for him as a test. Once done he finds himself in a situation of intimacy with Michal. Plans are made to steal a bracelet back that was Michal’s mothers.
I loved the intensity of the story. There was passion, suspense and reconciliation.
Blurb: Daymon is the second prince of a kingdom in which Evokers—those who possess intuitive magical abilities—have long since been treated with fear and mistrust. Marked as an Evoker himself, Daymon is captured by those who wish to take advantage of these powers. Now, the prince must put his faith in Rhyder, the captain of his guards—and the man Daymon has claimed as his own—to free him.
Review: Daymon has been abducted after saving a childs life. He knew in his heart his lover would find him, he was just not sure when. Ryder will do everything in his powers to get the man he loves back.
This story was bizarre to say the least. It was more back story then actual what was happening right then and there, except for the treatment of him. I will admit that I was actually thinking of giving this an lower rating, but that was just me. I didn’t care for this book at all, and hope that the next book is an actual story. For now this book was not my type of story at all.

At the annual Global Lijun Alliance conference in Tokyo, Tally Bastille makes the first impulsive decision of his life. Others perceive his uktena—the enormous legendary serpent that’s his dual-spirit—as a threat, which makes him all too aware that he frightens fellow lijun. But an encounter with a passionate, obviously not-straight otter lijun one evening convinces Tally that he’s found his Em’halafi, his destined match. Tally is determined to barrel through all obstacles to make the match happen, including the otter’s conservative, traditional family.
Trained as a Satislit—a bride-son—Haru Tanaka chafes at the strict boundaries set around their life. They rebel against their clan’s constant attempts to force an arranged match and wish desperately for someone who will love them. At the conference, Haru is horrified to learn their family has accepted an offer for them, one too lucrative for the clan to refuse. Not only has the Urusar sold Haru to a stranger, but the lijun is also a giant snake and one who believes in the tired old superstitions regarding Em’halafi. Threatened with banishment if they refuse, Haru has no choice but to marry the wealthy American serpent.
Back in Tally’s home in Wisconsin, Haru and Tally must navigate both the widening gulf between them as they realize how much they’ve misunderstood about each other, and the tricky politics of the lijun clan Tally leads. Murder, intrigue and increasing hostility threaten to tear apart the little town of Wadiswan and the arranged marriage they’ve barely managed to begin.
Review: I really wanted to love this story by the time I finished it. I mean there’s romance?, suspense, murder a whole cast of characters that added depth to the story. However, it Haru’s attitude toward Tally that made me take a step back. I know it’s an arranged marriage but if Haru didn’t want it why didn’t he say anything before the wedding? Instead all he does is complain and basically put Tally down after the wedding night. That really made me angry on Tally’s behalf.
I loved the culture throughout the story. It was fascinating to read about the traditions. Tally was sweet and caring and I so wanted him to be happy. Aside from Haru’s attitude problem I really enjoyed everything else about the book.
I was happy to follow Tally around as he traversed through a world where his mate doesn’t want him at first only to be confounded when murder enters the picture. I felt really bad for Tally in the situation he found himself in.
All the different characters were exciting to read about and what role they each played to bring this story to life.
Blurb: Python had made a mess of his life and now was paying the ultimate price. He was dying. It was nothing else but what he deserved after all. Only… Maybe he needed to hit rock bottom before finding everything he’d ever searched for? Rei was not the type to offer anyone second chances. Especially some punk supernatural creature that had almost killed his baby brother. What could ever excuse that? No, he wasn’t even thinking about it. Besides, his attention was elsewhere focused… On much more pleasant issues than his former military career. If only things were that simple. Fortunately, they weren’t and as they will both soon figure it out, it wasn’t up to them to decide.
Review:Each book in the Fated collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Python almost killed his brother’s human mate. He had not meant to but had thought the guy was his, and if he had died so would his brother. Thankfully his brother’s mate saw what was really going on, well some parts of it. What none of them realized other than Python, was Python was dying. He had taken on their mothers curse. He was turning human, unless he mated. What he had not expected was to have two mates.
Rei has spent time in the military and was tough as nails. He had the hots for someone that was trying to kill him, pretty strange but the fact that Jonathan didn’t want to kill him well you can guess. Jonathan was half human and half kappa, and his uncle was his master. His master wanted him to kill Rei, but hey he was not into meat. Sounds pretty screwed up to me.
First off this book had so many grammar and spelling problems that it made the story just off. They were easy to spot and just drove me nuts. The whole story jumped all over the place and made me want to just throw the book. It has a funny tone to it in the end, but you had to get through the first half of the book to see it, and getting that far was a fight. I like the ending better than I thought although I would have wished to see how many babies they ended up with.
Over all this story was just bizarre and off putting. It made my head hurt just reading it. I gave it a higher rating just because these guys were funny, well in parts of it.
The story might have had a better chance if it didn’t come off rushed and not edited. I am sorry to say but this story just pretty much bottomed out for me.

Blurb: Tallant is an elf astray—he’s been disowned by his family, has dared to battle bond with a human, and has no desire to ever see his homeland again. He is, in fact, vastly more excited to finally be seeing the home his battle-bonded, Milton, is finally returning to after twelve years of exile.
But instead of the joyful place Milton spoke endlessly of, they find a land rife with deadly dragons, where fifteen women have gone missing, including Irene, the woman Milton loves.
Even Milton’s brother, Cecil, is not what he used to be. Instead of the scholar Milton talked about, Cecil is a hardened soldier who keeps company with thieves. He is also beautiful and intriguing—but contemptuous of Milton and Tallant. Worse, he’s also married to Irene, making it clear that Milton and Tallant have arrived far too late to matter.
Author’s Note: This story was first published by Less Than Three Press in Fairytales Slashed Volume Three. It has not been significantly changed for re-release.
Review: Although I liked the idea of the story the overall feel of the book was not what I expected. I did not like Cecil’s hot and cold attitude at all and felt he played to big a role in the story than was necessary.
Milton was more of a secondary character that I felt deserved a bigger role. I was surprised that Tallant and Milton was not the actual couple of the story as they seemed to better suited to one another.

Blurb: Peirs had accepted his life of servitude to an angel. His keeper asked only for a willing body, and in exchange his needs were met and he was fed and clothed. Peirs might have served the angel forever—it was the only life he knew—but one day Peirs discovered something he had no way to plan for. After two millennia, he was pregnant. Peirs now must summon the courage to escape his master and the unbendable divine law that declared no half-breeds should live, but running into an angelic soldier in the back room of a bar wasn’t part of his plan.
After years of begging to go to the battlefields on Earth, Tabbis, the youngest angel in Heaven, finally got his assignment. Ready for heroics and bloodshed, he was stunned when he found enchanting and seductive Peirs instead. Tabbis was duty bound to kill Peirs, but Peirs’s very existence challenged everything Tabbis thought he knew.
Tabbis needs answers. Peirs wants nothing more than to save his baby and live in peace. Can they band together to help each other? Or will the wrath of Heaven tear them apart?
Review: Piers has a miserable life after watching his race decimated. He’s an incubus who is enslaved and made to please his master. This goes on for a while until the time comes when he finds out he’s pregnant. Scared for his unborn child he knows he has to escape no matter the cost.
Tabbis is a young angel sent on a mission to do away with Piers but he finds he’s not able to. When the two meet Tabbis has second thoughts for the incubus. He finds himself falling for the man. Even though he knows it’s wrong and that he may himself be in trouble for helping the man.
I loved this story. Piers plight made my heart break as no one should be subjected to that against their will. He suffered so much I was surprised he was still sane. Tabbis was a blessing in disguise for Pier.
The whole story was a great journey to escape from their servitude and start living while making sure to keep safe from all those that would do them harm.

Blurb: Jack and his family have been hunted their entire lives because of his ability to see the future. After his parents sacrificed themselves to save Jack and his brother, Jack flees to the Devil Hills wolf pack for sanctuary. Charming and sexy werewolf Max instantly gets his attention but Jack knows dancing with the lethal enforcer might just end up with Max breaking his heart.
After seeing the other enforcers of the pack mated, Max never thought a mate was for him until he spots the human seer Jack. Jack calls to his inner wolf like no other. Sparks instantly fly but with a war about to break out in the horizon, Max isn’t sure how to divide his time between Jack and his duties to the pack.
Jack thinks tangling with him might only lead to a broken heart but Max is intent on proving that Jack’s the only one for him.
Review: Each book in the Devil Hills Wolves collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Jack and his brother are espers and can tell the future. Although they are not that good at it right now, unlike their mother. She called them home only to have them run when the humans showed up. The squad either kills or experiments on those they capture and they use rehabilitated shifters who have no soul left basically, they are shells of their selves. Jack knew that there was one place they could run, but how accepting will they be.
Max protects his pack and will kill those who causes trouble. Well if that were the case, he would have kicked Jack’s brothers ass, little troublemaker. However he realizes that Jack is his mate and it looks like he has a little brother as well. Things are going to get interesting.
It is a very unique story that borders on a serious tone mixed in with dark undertones. This one however was not as dark as the others. It took a bit more time to get into it, but it is still a very good read. Action packed, drama filled, danger and hot sexy times are what you get in this plus a little more. It is not one of my favorite type of stories but it is still a good read.
If you like darkness in your tone and shifters that bite, then this book will be for you.
Blurb: Mama always said, don’t go near the lake. Rin already knew the forest was filled with dark things, but aside from Mama no one had warned him about the lake. One day, Rin wanders off to the lake, where a beautiful blue horse asks him to go for a swim, and Rin learns too late it may not be a swim he survives.
Review: Rin and his mama run a horse farm and one day after an injury leaves him in physical therapy and with braces he meets Blue, a kelpie, at the lake. Blue actually wanted to eat him but something drew Blue to Rin and the two strike up a friendship that slowly blossoms into more.
As the story progresses we learn about Blue’s past and Rin’s Fae heritage though Rin does not meet his father until the end. There are forces at work to unseat the king in the fae world but again this is not gone into at length just it and pieces here and there.
Nikolas Lastir remembers. A night of passion with his lover turned into an inferno of fire and death. In the chaos he was separated from his partner and imprisoned by the enemy. What neither of them expected was for their midnight tryst to leave Nik with a secret baby. Raising a child alone is hard. Reuniting with his lost lover who doesn’t know he’s the father? That might be even harder.
A Battle-hardened Alpha…
Peter Marlowe has been through hell and back. He lives on blood and battle to numb out his past, but the past has a way of catching up. Returning home after five long years, he comes face-to-face with the life–and the mate–he left behind. But the war isn’t over yet. As a mysterious new threat looms, can they find their way back to one another?
Can love bloom a second time?
The Dragon’s Second-Chance Omega is the second book in the Darkvale Dragons series. Each book follows a different couple but should be read in order for maximum enjoyment. You’ll find within these pages smoking-hot dragons, second chances, knotting, flower crowns, and the most awkward intimate moment ever witnessed by a nurse. If you like your mpreg with spice, danger, and a rich fantasy world, clear your calendar and click ‘buy now’–you’ll be turning pages until the end.
Review: For five years Marlowe has not known what happened to his mate Nik when the enemy took over Dragonvale. Now Marlowe and his clan battle to take back what was theirs. After the dust settles they realize there are homes enchanted to keep people prisoner. In one he discovers his mate. Not only that he also has a daughter.
Nik is bitter and angry that Marlowe never came for him. What I did not understand was why Marlowe cut off his link to Nik after Darkvale was attacked. Maybe if he didn’t he would have known Nik was alive and a prisoner.
I liked that Nik took his time to sort out his anger and angst at Marlowe. Aside from these men reuniting they discover a tunnel connected to Darkvale that is not part of the original ventilation system.
Drama, action, suspense and mystery are all in abundance in this intriguing addition.
Blurb: Captured and tortured by a pro-human faction responsible for rehabilitating non-humans, Theo’s only sin is having a psychic for a brother. Theo expects to die after his brother, but the Squad has one last use for him—as a sleeper spy to kill the Alpha of the most dangerous wolf pack in the country. Theo’s nearly given up on living, until he comes face-to-face with a feral and possessive werewolf able to strip his heart bare and help him heal both inside and out.
When a naked, bleeding human is dropped on pack land borders, werewolf enforcer Joe knows Theo is trouble. Theo can’t be trusted, but Joe’s wolf recognizes its fated mate. Joe defies his pack and even his Alpha to keep Theo, but can Joe help break Theo’s brainwashing, or is he doomed to lose his mate?
Review: Each book in the Devil Hills Wolves collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Theo and his brother were captured by a human group that are out to either kill or rehabilitate non-humans. They are a very cruel and evil group that should not even call themselves humans. They hunt, kill, experiment or brainwash the paranormals. He was tortured dailey and drugged most of the time. Then the squad killed his brother and from that point Theo just wanted to die. To bad the squad had other ideas.
Joe is a powerful wolf shifter who protected his world. When he came across Theo he knew the man was his mate. He also knew that his mate was in deep trouble and so was the pack. Theo was sent to kill.
This is not one of those fun loving, sweet type of romance. It has a serious tone to it with a darkness flowing through it. It is well written with sexy ass characters that will protect those they love. However they also tend to kill those who show up, but they do protect their mates. It is an action packed, danger filled type of story but there is some hot sexy times as well.
I don’t really care for the dark tones to the story and can honestly say that I don’t normally read these books more than once. It is a very good story but come off just a bit harsh to me. However I would recommend it to those who like these types of stories.
Alec Cipher is having a bad day. The superstitious elders of his village demand a seasonal sacrifice to ward off dragon attacks. And lucky him—he’s the Chosen. Desperate to escape and forge a new life for himself, Alec stows away on a passing carriage late one night. Little does he know, the driver of the carriage is an undercover dragon!
An Outcast Alpha…
Alpha dragon Lucien wanders the wilds after a bloody mutiny stripped him of his mate, his powers, and his homeland. On one of his midnight journeys, he unknowingly picks up a stowaway—a little omega human. And he smells delicious. What starts out as annoyance transforms into something greater the longer they spend time together. With an extremist clan on the rise, can Lucien save both his people and his heart? Can Alec love a beast whose brethren have terrorized his people for centuries?
Can they find a new life together in one another’s arms?
Sometimes love is the greatest adventure…welcome to Darkvale.
The Dragon’s Runaway Omega is the first book in the Darkvale Dragons series and is filled with all the things you crave: smoking-hot dragons, magic, mpreg, knotting, and of course, adorable children. The series takes place in a rich epic fantasy world torn by battle. If you’re looking for a world filled with lust, danger, and spice, you’ve come to the right place..
Review: Running away from his village was the only option for Alec. He meets Lucien and the two form a bond of sorts. I liked this story a lot but at the same time there were gaps in the timeline. But that was o.k. as I still understood what was happening.
Lucien’s past was painful to read. I wanted to know what all happened to his first mate and child, though it was never clear. Alec had his thinking changed regarding dragons as he adjusted to life with Lucien.
Danger comes in the form of an extremist group who will stop at nothing to eradicate Lucien and his dragons. I loved the story. Full of romance, action and drama this story takes hold and does not let go until the end.
I’m looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Blurb: Half werewolf and half telekinetic, Santino Moreno is called the Devil for a reason. Lethal in a fight and dangerously seductive in bed, no one has ever managed to tame him. Searching for a way to heal his sister, Santino saves Zack, a bobcat shifter healer, and his crew of misfits from paranormal-hating humans and allows them inside the Devil Hills pack lands. Something about Zack calls to Santino’s wolf, and he can’t deny the scorching attraction between them.
Zack has done all he could to save the remains of his decimated paranormal community. He just lied to the most powerful werewolf pack in the country to save his people, but his deceit unravels the more he spends time with Santino. Zack lost his old home, but can he find his place in the Devil Hills pack and manage to survive his dance with the Devil?
Review: Each book in the Devil Hills Wolves collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Santino and his sister were created in the human lab to check the mixture of shifter and Espers. At the age of seven, he got his sister and himself out of the hell hole. Deacon had found them and brought them home. They gave their loyalty to him and swore to follow him anywhere. When most of their pack had been killed and Deacon took over the alpha position, he became one of the enforcers as did his sister. Now his sister was in a coma and he needed her to come back.
Zack had done the one thing he could think of, he lied to the alpha of the pack he wanted to join. Him and his friends were the only survivors after their pack was killed. Zack and his friends were not the same kind of shifter, Zack was an small bobcat shifter. He was the healer of the group. When he heard that the pack was in need of a shifter who could work with an Esper, he jumped at it. Then he saw Santino and his heart beat heavy and boy was he going to be in trouble.
Out of the three books in this series, I have to say that this one was the best. It had a lighter tone to it that actually made the story rock. The characters were perfect for the story and damn if they were not hot. This story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me almost everything I could ask for in a story. I like the way this story just seem to flow of the pages and it went in the perfect direction.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I can honestly say that this is one of those stories that will be read more than once.
Blurb: Damiano Satriale is hiding a deep dark secret, one that he’s had to cloak from the scent of other shifters all his life. Should anyone pick up on the vibrations of his royal bloodline, it will be the end of him. Ordered to the court of King Fain, monarch to all large cat shifters, the assignment leaves a bad taste in Dami’s mouth. The last thing he ever wanted or needed was the scrutiny that will come while serving as Paladin Primero, the king’s champion and most fearsome warrior knight. To top it all off, Dami is greeted by none other than his mate, someone he’d hoped never to meet.
Paget Jureaux, the panther who runs King Fain’s household, has been serving the monarch for nearly five years after the coup which resulted in the execution of the former king, Pasha Raab. He’s made lots of acquaintances and a few friends, but he’s never had any romantic entanglements. With no other gay cats around, there hasn’t been much chance for Paget to fall in love. When his mate arrives in the form of the king’s new paladin, he curses his fate. Not only does the man come with a vicious and cruel reputation, but a stunning face and an incredibly sexy body.
Thrown together by destiny, the two realize they must avoid each other at all costs and face the biggest challenge of their lives… trying to stay alive long enough… to walk away with broken hearts.
Review: I absolutely loved this story. Paget and Demi’s story was heartbreaking yet so sweet. Danger looms everywhere and the slightest mistake could mean the death for Demi and Paget.
The dynamics in the Tiger King are old school as to there can only be one king and anyone else in the line could be put to death by the king. Not to mention it is against the law for different stations to become involved with one another despite their being mates. This part I thought was wrong for the characters.
I loved this book. Action, suspense, mystery, danger and a whole slew of other things packed into an amazing story that grips you from the beginning and does not let go until the very end. I was hooked from the moment I opened the book.
With his superpower of will, Wish can create or modify almost anything, including his own dimension, Wish City, a place for people with superpowers to go when they die on Earth. After wrestling the dimension back from a monster he unwittingly created, Wish is still struggling to control his subconscious.
Lake kills himself to get to the specials’ heaven he’s heard so much about. After hiding his power of emotional manipulation in life, he yearns to use it on a lover now that he’s free. Meeting the charismatic and alluring Wish brings unexpected chemistry, but the two part on awkward terms.
When Lake meets Wish’s dark doppelgänger in a club, he finds himself swept up in a torrid love affair. Meanwhile, the “real” Wish might be ready to give Lake what he wants. But can he learn how to give up control before it’s too late?
How to Tame a God is the second book in the Wish City series. It is a gay erotic horror romance with an HFN ending.
Review: Lake can not take it anymore and decides to end his life to go to a place he’s heard of where he can use his gift, emotional manipulation freely. Upon arriving he meets Wish and is smitten. Though Wish feels the same he holds back. Lake explores and meets Wish’s darker side and the two connect.
I liked this story about Wish and Lake. I felt the two got along well though it did take Wish sometime before he realized what he could lose if he didn’t act. I love Wish’s city. Very descriptive and detailed.

Review:Each book in the Devil Hills Wolves collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Daryl and his older brother had escaped the human’s who wanted to get their hands on him. He was what they call an Esper, someone with some psychic powers. He had killed their abusive father when they were younger, and just tried to stay safe. That is until his brothers chief started asking questions, then they decided to run to the one place that might be able to keep them. Now he was just trying to figure out his feelings for the sexy, powerful and cranky alpha.
Deacon and his best friends took up protecting other paranormal’s after most of their pack had been killed. Twelve years old and seeing the death of his parents and most of his pack, had made him a bit cold and hardened. He hated humans but slowly, very slowly he is starting to see that not all human’s are bad. He is just trying to figure out what to do with his feelings for Daryl.
This series has a dark tone to it and even though it does work for this story, it also makes the story a bit off. It felt like the story had been quite rushed by the author that it didn’t flow like it should have. I loved Daryl, but the alpha was a bit hard to connect with. You can understand why he is the way he is, but still he just comes off wrong. Other than those issues I had with it, the story is quite interesting and fun to read.
It has a unique and fresh way of taking the story in the direction it is going. It has great potential to be a top story with a little more time goes into it. I did enjoy reading it and can say that this will be read more than once.
