Blurb: Business has been good at Paul’s Café in Madison, Wisconsin—until a few months before Christmas. When Nick opens Nick’s Restaurant next door, Paul watches his customers leave for cheaper food and an owner who smiles more. With his livelihood at stake, Paul lashes out, trying to drive away Nick’s customers, but Nick won’t go easy, and escalating sabotage threatens to ruin the holidays for both of them.

Paul thinks all he wants for Christmas is to see Nick’s Restaurant go under, but the more he tries to drive Nick away, the less he’s sure he wants him to go. Nick is everything Paul secretly craves, but by the time he realizes Nick is all he really wants for the holidays, he might have ruined any chance for them to get together. And there might not be a present in the world that can fix that.

Review: Paul’s cafe has been doing pretty good until Nick’s Restaurant opened up next door. Now Paul started this little feud with him but damn if Nick is going to let it go. However when it starts to get real, well the guys started to feel bad. There is deeper attraction going on and things start to chage real fast.

This was a blast to read and funny as hell. These two sure are perfect for each other. They both have a competitive attitude and both are attracted to each other. I wasn’t to sure about the Christmas part of it, but it soon gave me what I wanted to see.

I would definitely read this again. I would also recommend it and hope that the author gives us more of these two guys.

Review: When I first started reading this story, I wasn’t too sure if I was going to even like it a little. Jaxxon is not my idea of a good man let alone boyfriend.  His wife and daughter left for Florida to start over, and Jaxxon just gets drunk. Then a superbug hits and many die around them every single day.  Then the news comes that his wife and her family are dead, and he has no idea where his daughter is.  Wade however is a different matter; he is in love with Jaxxon but can see what is going to happen.  So he leaves in search of Jaxxon’s daughter, and if you want to know the rest you have to read the book.

I can’t say that I liked this book, but it was interesting.  It wasn’t a Christmas story but it does have a happy ending.  When I first started reading it, I was thinking that it was just thrown in because there really isn’t anything celebrating the holiday.  Even the cover was depressing. However the ending was better than I thought it would be.  I just hate to admit that this was not a story for me.

Time of Your Life

by

Erzabet Bishop, Emjay Haze, Chad Brian Henry, DC Juris, Samantha Luce, Megan McFerren and Val Prozorova, Charles Payseur, Jessica Payseur, Janelle Reston, Rob Rosen, Lynn Townsend

The Time of Your Life might slip away if you don’t watch out! Tales from deep space, the open road, reality television, fantasy-academia, and contemporary life are brought together in this collection.

In Jessica Payseur’s Orbits, longtime friends-with-benefits meet unexpectedly on a space station and finally sync their technology.

Warren’s Peace by Emjay Haze, Duet by Megan McFerren and Val Prozorova, and A Change is Gonna Come by Rob Rosen take the reader on the road—via a Caribbean cruise ship, the railway system of France, and the California Interstate, respectively.

A happy home is the goal, but when Chad Brian Henry gives two happily married men constant drooling and barking in the form of A Problem Called Travis, they unhappily realize their aim may not be as true as they thought.

Two authors invite us to weddings! Erzabet Bishop and Lynn Townsend each use humor and surprise, found in the commonplace, to lead newlywed wives in First Night and two grooms-to-be in Wedding March toward discovering and remembering why they went to all this trouble in the first place.

The Color of Magic, by Charles Payseur, lets us watch and learn with three university students, who challenge authority to secure the future. In a more typical college setting, a shy roommate and an outgoing roommate delight each other with A Taste of What’s to Come, written by Samantha Luce.

Straight off the small screen, Food Play Extreme, by Janelle Reston, serves a platter of competition and confidence to three top chefs. And in D.C. Juris’ A Good Bargain, age and experience is indeed a good match for youth and beauty.

Don’t ignore the ticking of that clock—it’s the time of your life!

Release date: 22nd June 2016

Review: I have read a couple of these and they have left me

There’s something to be said for maturity and experience, whether it’s a second chance at love, a May/December romance, or finding a soul mate later in life. These stories prove that it’s never too late for new love.

hanging with questions. They just give you this taste and doesn’t fulfill you at all.

Now I must admit that this does the same but it actually comes off pretty damn good. I wasn’t so sure what to think at first. The title had me guessing at first. This is the first book by this author that I have read and it was pretty good. Although to be truthful I hated it. To meet up and then to know you will not have a lot of time with someone kind of does it for me.

Kithric has been capturing dragons for as long as he remembered. He didn’t kill them but took samples for magic. He was a mage that was growing old and losing his abilities. So when he captured a dragon that shifted into a human he figured death was coming. What he had not expected was for Ylfrin to tease him.

This was a pretty good story and I would recommend reading it. It gives you a taste of the paranormal worlds, dragons, danger, excitement and just a hint of sex.

For being such a short story I was impressed with it.
