Review: Each book in the Sir collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jamie loves a good spanking and wants the perfect man to do it. Thanks to his friends giving him the best present of all time, he might just have that man. Simon has been out of his last relationship for about eight months and has decided he needed the perfect sub. So after being invited to meet some new subs, he takes on look at Jamie and knows he wants the man.

However it would seem his ex doesn’t want to let go. That and there is someone who wants Jamie dead. It is up to Simon and some friends to keep Jamie safe.

I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Stormy puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

I was thrilled to read more about the Sirius Wolves. This series has intrigued me and drawn me in since the beginning. This book continues that theme for me. I honestly have to be careful how I write this review so I don’t drop any spoilers. Because let me tell you things happened that really shocked me.

What I can say is that Victoria Sue has done it again with this book. The writing was on point except for a few minor editing issues. But even they did not distract from the amazingly web the author created. It really left me guessing until the end.

This book gave a very awesome look into the heads of Marcus and Kellan. Marcus a human injured veteran living within the wolves’ circle of power. The way he is accepted by most of them and respected more by the wolves than most humans give was touching.

However Marcus at times has a hard time accepting and understanding it himself. Marcus may be human, but he shows the wolves something that makes them give him the utmost respect.
Kellan is hated by most of the wolves for his part in things that were beyond his control. But with Marcus and others in the inner circle he finds acceptance and his strength. It was wonderful to see him come into himself and discover his place in the pack.

I really can’t say much more about whom the other two people are in the developing relationship, but I will say I didn’t see it coming at the start. But I am far from disappointed.

This book had so many surprises around every corner and I cannot wait to see where Victoria Sue takes it next. Because let me tell you there are so many more things to discover and explore.

Review: Each book in the Brac Pack Next Gen collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

This is also branched off from her previous series. These are the children of the original men so if you want the full effect start off with Brac Pack, Brac Village, Zeus’s Pack, Christian’s Coven, and so on. You will see the fathers in the serious at some point, or at least that is what I have seen in these two stories so far.

I love the way Lynn Hagen can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Lynn. My attention was caught with the first sentence and I just couldn’t put the book down. This is one of those types that even after you have read the whole book you just want to go back and read it again.

There is a lot of action, danger, suspense and a bit of kink in this book. I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is so much humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I think my favorite is the fact that Taylor shifts into this cute little bunny.
Taylor is a very cute little bunny shifter whose ass is about to get fried. He was supposed to do one thing and ended up getting mixed up with a drug bust. To save his cute little ass he was going to turn states evidence. He was brought to Dalton Falls. A town that is known to have the paranormal.

He had not expected to find his mate or the trouble he is in. His mate has some problems of his own.

Nevada was tired of about everything. His boyfriend turned out to be nothing more than a whore so he has decided to join his family in Dalton Falls. He has made the decision not to trust anyone nor fall for any cute little ass he sees.

Too bad that went out the window when he finds out that Taylor is his mate. Then the secrets just got in the way, can Nevada give up his hatred for lying to except his mate or not. Not to mention keeping his mate from getting killed at the same time. Things were about to change.

It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Lynn puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: Usually one goes for books because of their titles and blurbs, however in this case the author has always given me stories that I end up reading more than once. This story was no different. I love the paranormal and fantasy world. K-lee always gives you a world that you can lose yourself into. It is a world that I would love to find out more about. This is book three and I would suggest starting with the first book.

I find that even though it is broken into two different parts, it worked pretty well for this story. Most times it drives me nuts and leaves me with questions. However with this one it was easy to follow. Now the only problem I had was it seemed way too descriptive and drawn out to me. Other than that it was a great read.

Manny is very special and such a dream to read about. He wants what his friends have, a true spirit mate. He wants the happiness they have and wants it now. He is getting tired of waiting. He didn’t have a great home life which is what captivated me with him. I felt more for him then I have with many of the other characters. He has a family now, one that he has chosen. They are a sort of mismatched and quirky. His little family of misfits wants the best for him as well.

The problem was Manny’s spirit mate was not connecting like they should. Manny wants his to be like his friends. Mika on the other hand never wanted his fated mate, but will help Manny. I do love the way K-lee makes you feel what the characters are feeling. Mika wasn’t a favorite of mine in the other stories, but he made headway in this one. I love how he gives up so much to make Manny happy. It also made me feel bad for him at the same time.

The story draws you in and keeps you there to the very end. I had so much fun reading this and look forward to reading more by this amazing author. I loved the way K-lee makes you anticipate what is going to happen next.

I had a blast with this story and look forward to reading more by this author. I can’t wait for the next her next story.

I would definitely recommend it.

Review: The guys are back and heating up the pages. It is time for a wedding. Now I have to admit that I did not read the first book, so I was a bit lost. However after reading this, I must say that I will go find the first one. I am not one for weddings, but I do love a good ending.

Now as I have said above, it is best to start this series with the first book. I had a lot of fun reading this. This author shows a great deal of talent and gave me a story that pulls you in. I was captivated from the first page and couldn’t put the book down. It has a lot of heat in it that will have you fanning yourself.

Although I must say I wasn’t sure about Drew’s grandparents. The older they get the stranger they are. I think Emma was a brat but was fun to read about. She is a quirky young girl that shows a lot of spunk. The wedding is a sight to behold, to bad I don’t want to get married.

I had a blast reading this story and look forward to seeing what other books this author has out. It has a serious tone to it but there is humor that makes it more fun. I would definitely recommend this story and can’t wait to read it again. It was a fun story that will have you wanting more. Although I have to say that the title makes one think of a different type of story.

Review: Each book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is a lot of action, danger, suspense and a bit of kink in this book. I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is so much humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I have got to say that owls are just so cute. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Charlie writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of her stories.

Hector and his friends are bird shifters and have spent most of their lives in cages. Hector doesn’t even remember what it was like to be a child. Now that they have been freed, he is trying to learn as much as he can. He has found his mate, but every time he asks him to date, Rocky turns him down.

Rocky has his eyes on Hector but doesn’t want a one night stand. He has a small child to think of and he doesn’t want to bring someone in just to get hurt. However he decides to give the little man a date to see. Let’s just say his eyes are about to be opened wide. He is mated to a cute little owl shifter whose heart is out there for anyone to see.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Catch Me If You Can by LB Gregg

Blurb: The fear of getting caught is half the fun.

Lowly art gallery assistant Caesar Romano is freely out of the closet. Now he’d just like to get out of his Nana’s guest room. Everything—his reputation and his financial freedom—is riding on the success of tonight’s gallery opening. If only he could shake free of the past so easily.

A mysterious gatecrasher, Dan Green, looks like a promising addition to his pending new life—until Caesar’s ex shows up and suddenly the opening disintegrates into a half-naked dance melee. When the glitter settles, a missing sculpture of Justin Timberlake has Caesar up to his eyebrows in extortion, intrigue and a wild sexual adventure underneath, inside, and on top of a variety of furnishings.

As the cast of suspects pile up, so do the questions. Like who’s really blackmailing whom? And what does a stolen paint-by-numbers clown matter when Dan is so outrageously capable of blowing Caesar’s resistance to smithereens?

This book contains graphic language, sex, lies, intrigue, clowns, kleptomania, anal sex, oral sex, mutual masturbation, bad driving, good cooking, and the missing head of a Justin Timberlake statue. Not for the sour of disposition.

Review: Catch Me If You Can is the first book in LB Gregg’s Romano and Albright series.

While I enjoyed it immensely – this hilarious comedy of errors and the most accident prone person who has the weirdest stuff happen to – there were a few things in the story which bugged me.

All the comedy really comes from Caesar, also known as Ce, and the story is being told from his POV. With all the good intentions he is really trying to make his work at an art gallery work – but things just tend to happen to him.

OK, fair enough, he should have called the cops the in the beginning rather than worry about his boss blowing a gasket for doing just that. However, Caesar is completely adorable (both cute and hot, if that makes sense) and when he meets Dan Albright, ex-detective and now a PI, things heat up in a big, bad way between the guys.

So this is one thing that leaves me confused, I was fully invested into Caesar and his never-ending histrionics. But – and this is big – I just didn’t and couldn’t become fully invested into Dan as a main character. Despite being Caesar’s love interest (there could have been more chemistry between them), Dan felt like he was a slightly more important minor character.

The annoying part is that Dan is a fantastic character, it was just that he was used to interpret Caesar’s melodrama to make the story more coherent (though it is easy to follow regardless of melodrama).

Another thing to add, only because I was reading this book soon after listening to a Cracked podcast which discussed this very thing, I became very aware to reaction the other character had with one of the transgender minor characters.

As I heard on the podcast, it felt like the reaction the group of cops had in Ace Venture: Pet Detective had when Ace revealed one of the villains as trans. Speaking about it with a friend, she was deeply offended, but I won’t go into the lengthy explanation she gave me.

Beyond those flaws, in my view, this is funny and zany and convoluted in a pretty pleasing way. It is easy to get lost in the histrionics and melodrama, which for a while allowed me to over look anything that annoyed me in the plot. It’s a fun ride and I’m interested to see what happens next.

Review: This is something I rarely ever do… give a book below a three, but in all honesty and soul-searching I just couldn’t.

Crane is handsome, beyond handsome and he knows it. Tye is enamored with him from first sight but being older thinks the man wouldn’t want him. He sets up a job for Crane as a tour guide at the tour company he frequents to spend time with him.

Ok, I left a lot out with that summary. If this was where the book began, I think it had some premise. But instead, it spends pages going on about how he knows he is good-looking and pretty much gives airs that he is above most people because he is.

It puts down obese people quite a bit and centers on self-centered beauty. There are several scenes in the beginning that had absolutely no bearing on the book, the opening scene with Dan, an 18-year-old, and a sex scene with the married man who hires him for the tour job. I could not relate or make myself like Crane at all.

I really wanted to like this story. I usually love the Storming Love Books, but this was one that just wasn’t my cup of tea.

If you like conceited men, highly erotic stories natural disasters, older men/younger men, sugar daddies, and lots of hot man-sex you may like this.

Review: I have been waiting for Beau and Sam’s story for a while. There is just something extra special about these two men. They have been together for a long time. Though they aren’t shouting from the rafters they aren’t actually hiding either.

Beau is the big champ right now especially with Jase out injured. Sam isn’t doing well at all and is barely making it good enough to stay in the events with Beau. Sam is beginning to tire of people thinking Beau is keeping him and saying that he is riding on Beau’s fame. They need some long-awaited home time but find themselves at AJ’s visiting Jase and Andy after Coke’s injury.

There is so much going on in this book. We get a bit more of Coke and Dillon as well as Jason and Andy. The bits with Jason and Andy at AJ and Missy’s are always fun with little Benji. You have got to love Benji’s cute baby names for all these rough and tumble cowboys, showing their softer side. Also, Sam and Beau raise hound dogs, so we have the cute doggies as well!

There is a little angst with Sam beginning to doubt himself and his relationship then there are other twists I won’t get into, that leave you in nail-biting suspense.

There is a little something for everyone in this book. In the front of the book, the author has a note about the grammar and style. I agree one hundred percent. I love the language and the rough vocabulary. It gives the perfect feel for the roughness of the cowboys and settings. Some of the terms like bobblehead cowboys made me laugh like crazy. It fits so well with all the nodding!

If you like cowboys, cute kids and puppies, angst, twists, a little suspense and, of course, scorching hot man-sex, this is a must!

Blurb: Teen shelter volunteer Rich searches for love until Diego, from LVMPD Search and Rescue, finds him.

After declaring his love life officially dead, Rich wonders if maybe he should stick with his shifter book boyfriends instead. It’s not as if he has much free time to date anyway. Between working long hours at a coffee shop, guarding his sodas from his hygienically challenged roommates, and running the programming at the Vegas LGBTQ teen shelter he founded—how could there ever be space for love in his life?

Diego Espinoza enjoys taking his downtime from working Search and Rescue, at the Lucky Cup coffee shop. He can set up his laptop, peruse good sport climbing spots and observe the blond barista he’s been pining over for a while. He imagines that the pretty boy has more offers than he knows what to do with, so it takes Diego time to work up the nerve to approach him.

Rich isn’t so sure about the rough-looking Diego—even if he’s always thought he was hot—but once he decides to gives Diego a chance, there’s an immediate heat and connection that takes him by surprise. As they learn more about each other and try to find the way to a future together, strange and scary things start to happen.

It isn’t until Rich is injured in a bizarre accident that it becomes clear that there’s someone out there who not only doesn’t want Rich to find love—they want him dead.

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of light bondage.

Review: I’ve wanted this story for a while now, being a fan of the series and having read every book, I see Rich in the background and have eagerly waited for his time to come. Rich may be young, but he has a good head on his shoulders. He volunteers constantly at the shelter, takes classes at the local college and works full-time at the Lucky Cup Coffee Shop.

His schedule doesn’t leave much time for dating but when he does, one disastrous date after another leads Rich to consider swearing off men for a while. That is until the hot guy that Rich can’t help but notice almost daily at the Coffee Shop finally asks him out.

Diego loves his job as part of the Search and Rescue unit for LVMPD being the outdoors type of guy. He even spends his off time hiking and climbing, mostly because he doesn’t have a man in his life. Diego has a sour taste in his mouth as well from past relationships, but there is something about the beautiful blonde at the Coffee Shop that has not only caught Diego’s eyes, he makes Diego want so much more than a one night stand.

These two definitely move fast, but it’s the attention to details that made their instant connection okay with me. Diego goes out of his way to woo Rich. Compliments, dates, conversation, and oh boy can the man kiss! Rich can’t breathe, much less think, when Diego lays his lips on him. I think what I enjoyed most about the relationship between these two was their conversations.

Diego especially always paid attention to everything Rich said, which was new to Rich and took some getting used to, but the way they were able to confide in each other from the start, to be a shoulder for each other when they had a bad day. This happened to them both in the story. I just loved that the relationship wasn’t all about sex. That being said, the sex was fantastic! Passionate, playful, tender and rough. When these two went at it I had to wipe the steam off my kindle.

Fast paced and completely engaging with a little bit of suspense for good measure. If you are a fan of the series, Knight’s work, men in uniforms, or just a hopeless romantic… you’ll love this book too.

Review: Every once in a while you come across an author that not only can catch your attention with their books but keep it throughout the whole story. These books are the type that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Shannon West is one of those authors. Her stories not only are very entertaining but they have a world inside of them that makes you wish you were right there with them.

The characters are not only well written with a lot of depth to them, but they have you falling in love with them or wanting to shoot them. However if you cross them, they will put you down. They are very protective of their mates and their family. They will protect them with their lives if needed.

The war has been going on for quite some time and many deaths have been because of it. It is time for peace, so a diplomatic marriage has been set up. The groom is not pleased, his people pretty much prefer men yet he is set up to marry a woman. Thank god she ran while she had the chance, but her brother is about to take her place. Talk about a pissing contest between them.

Mikos is not only attracted to Ryan but he is intrigued by the man. Too bad Ryan has a major attitude. However, I think he can be forgiven considering not only does he have to have body modification done to him, but he is the one that carries the babies. He will miss his world and his life, but Mikos plans on helping him with that little detail.

Mikos and Ryan are sworn enemies so there is a lot to get over, however they will have time. The problem was Ryan considered himself completely straight, well until Miko’s kissed him.

I would definitely recommend this book and the ones before it. It was amazing and I had enjoyed it quite a bit.

Review:It’s been a while since I’ve read a Brandon Witt book, so I thought it was about time to get back in the saddle. Now, after finishing this book, I wonder, how is it possible that what came after the epilogue changed this rating from a solid 4 stars to 5 stars? Only one answer comes to mind, so that must be it: this book was written after real characters, with real feelings, which makes the topic of this book even more heartbreakingly real.

I have to offer praise to Brandon for having the courage and determination to approach a topic that’s rarely mentioned when it comes to men: eating disorders. I know we get to see how the female population suffers and is affected by these, but to get to experience it from a male POV, and to see that men deal with body image issues and eating disorders while striving to achieve perfection just as women do, was captivating, heartbreaking, eye-opening, and an experience I won’t forget anytime soon.

Kevin is a gorgeous 38-year-old man, who comes from an overbearing Italian family who’s as supportive as it is overwhelming. Kevin has been dreaming about owning a bridal store since he was a teenager, and while he never gave up on his dream, life had other plans in store for him.

The child of a lesbian couple, Kevin had all the support and love needed while growing up, and he was never judged of shamed for his homosexuality. But sometimes, no matter how much love and support we have, we are still affected by different conditions and/or we’re not quite happy with who we are.

Kevin suffers from a severe anxiety disorder that started in his teenage years, and has been battling bulimia and anorexia for many years, even though for the most part he got his bulimia under control. Kevin is gorgeous and has a great body, only when he looks in a mirror, that’s not what he sees: he sees ugliness and fat, imperfection and disappointment.

No matter how much those around him tell him he looks great, he never believes it. Being married for years to Scott, a beautiful, pretty much physically perfect man, and being cheated on and divorced because Scott chose another man, certainly didn’t help Kevin’s condition.

Kevin’s story affected me a lot, and I was able to connect with him like I’ve never connected with another character before. I understand perfectly what he’s going through and that he can’t control the way he feels about his own body; I understand because I go through the same thing, although I’m not even close to the severity of Kevin’s experiences. But I experienced this enough throughout my life to feel connected to Kevin on a very deep level.

Casper is a chef whose dreams are to one day open his own dessert shop, specializing in wedding cakes. When Casper and Kevin meet through some mutual friends and learn that they have similar goals, they decide to go into business together to help each other with the expenses or starting a new business, and to offer people a unique experience when it comes to their bridal needs.

Casper finds Kevin extremely attractive and no matter how much he tries, he can never think of him as a business partner only. This was one of those cases where the heart wants what it wants, and having faith in fate might make your dreams come true. Casper knows that he’s not beautiful enough, not cool enough, not interesting enough and entirely too geeky to ever make Kevin interested in him, especially once he meets Kevin’s ex-husband/on-again lover Scott, because he knows he’s never going to fall into the same category with Scott. And yet he never stops hoping.

The more time Kevin spends with Casper, the more attracted to him he feels; the stress and pressure of starting a new business, along with his anorexia, are causing Kevin to experience severe anxiety attacks. But with time he comes to realize that being with Casper makes him feel relaxed and happy, and the anxiety that causes him to eat Xanax like candy doesn’t make an appearance as frequently when they spend time together.

What starts off as a friendship becomes so much more, and I loved every bump in their road to happiness. Casper and Kevin are a great couple and a fantastic team, and I especially love how unconditionally Casper loves Kevin, and how good he is for Kevin’s well-being.

The reason I wanted to give this book 4 stars instead of five is for the lack of steam and sex factor. If this had some on-page sex and maybe some descriptive steamy parts, it truly would’ve been the most perfect book.

Only after reading the word from the real life Kevin at the end of this book, and Brandon’s word where we find out most of this book’s characters are inspired by real-life people, this book became less of a fiction and more of a reality, and I quite frankly stopped minding the lack of sex that much.

I know this is still fiction and many of the things that happened are fiction as well, but knowing the core of this book is based on real people made a huge difference for me.

Lovely book!!!

Review: I loved this book – obviously since I gave it a 5/5 rating. The big winner for me is that this feels just so completely real in every way that I couldn’t help but enjoy it. The plot then did the rest of the work and I feel in love with the plot and the characters just so damn easily.

If you’re looking for romance, I feel like I keep reminding people about this, but this is a DSP Publication book, the branch of Dreamspinner Press where the romance is not strictly the main plot of the book. So in saying that, there is romance and quite a sweet and lovely one at that, but the book is about more than just the romance.

So let me set the scene, we open up meeting Brock, a wildlife officer based in a small Colorado town. While at a diner he happens across a video that shows illegal poaching of local eagles. Recognising the area – and potentially, the couple of birds – he and a fellow officer go off to save the nest.

Through work such as this, Brock has met and spoken to Landon on numerous occasions. Landon runs a wildlife rehab centre which takes in many animals such as mountain lion cubs and eagle chicks, brought in by Brock and his colleagues. There is a rather simple attraction between these guys from the get go and despite Brock being in the closet things are set to sizzle while the rest of the plot takes hold.

So after saving the eagle chick, it seems that Brock has stumbled upon something quite illegal. Once he realises that the local eagle population is in danger, he is ready to save the day. The plot is really as simple as though there are a number of other wildlife and law enforcement officers popping up throughout the book.

Brock is something of an action man out to save the wildlife – he is also completely charming and lovable. His dog, who really doesn’t make too many appearances, also adds to his owner’s character.

This one is probably more for the people who like reading about realistic relationships and like a bit of action. I fear though because of the realism that some people may find this one a little boring.

Review: This is the fourth book in the Eight Kingdoms series.

This is a wonderfully written book that draws you into a fantasy world where all is not as it seems. Evil comes in many forms and forces work against those with the best of intentions.

Mascen is still on the hunt for Dealla after what she did in the last book. Though I understood his need to find the evil woman I was concerned for Bran being left behind seeing as how she hated Bran.
Myriddan and Kas’ situation truly broke my heart.

These two have loved each other for a very long time and have to wait and watch while the other was with someone else. I was glad they were in a book for more than a couple of sentences because I felt they truly needed something more.

Great characters and details lead the reader further into the Eight Kingdoms series.

As the son of the bear clan leader, Zeke’s purpose is to take the mate his father has decided for him and bring the Washington clans together. He has a better idea though, one that involves seducing a sexy otter and running away with him instead of doing what his family expects of him.

Review: Each book in the Patching Up collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. Although I would suggest reading the Watcher’s series also because there are crossover characters from there also.

Phillip met Zeke at the bar on his night alone. They ran away with some other otters when Zeke’s clan came after them. Then Phillip finds out that Zeke had been lying the whole time, but when he found out that Zeke’s mate was hurting him he knew he had to help.
Caitlin Ricci and A.J. Marcus are a great team and can give you some pretty amazing stories to read. But, not only are they to short but they come off very rushed and shallow.

You go from their meeting to them running away from the clan. It had a lot of holes in it and I was quite disappointed in the whole story. Well not the whole story, it was a great idea but the follow through was not good. I liked the otter and bear part, but really the bear comes off extremely weak.

I do hope that the next story has some meat to it and more details.

Review: After the last book I read by this author I was expecting something I had never read before but that was not the case. This book is about a blood slave Ash and a Vampire Lord Jai. It was a typical vampire book with a few twists thrown in.

I have to say though it was so slow at times that I found myself losing focus. I would have liked it better if it had been faster. Don’t get me wrong it was a good read but it could have been so much better and intense.

Ash and Jai take forever to actually get together in this book that at times I wondered what the point of them getting together at all was. It seemed as if they danced around each other throughout the entire book until the end.

It was an o.k. read.

Review: Dare was born as a human, but when he shifted into his wolf he was a beautiful white wolf. He had no brand saying what pack he belonged to although in his defense he had no memory of a pack. He had always taken care of himself as a lone wolf would. The dangers out there for lone wolves were a feared danger.

The Rule wanted them captured and then sold off as slaves. So when he was captured he feared what would happen, then a sexy alpha saved his life.

Rage had been wanting a mate, he just had not wanted his lover to be it. So when he went to the auction, he realized that he has found the man for him. Then the surprise hit them all, Dare was a rare type of wolf that would become pregnant. I would say more of a shock for Dare.

This story takes on a different story line that was not bad. A different world where werewolves were magical and had different type of lives than many books you’ve read. It was not perfect but it was a great story. Although I have to say that the book ended wrong however. It seems like there is a cliff hanger there even though I believe there is not. It suggests that maybe the author will turn it into a series, for which I wished she would.

It has a serious tone to it and very little humor which was not a plus for me. there is also the dark tone to it that usually drives me nuts. The story is a paranormal but it comes off a bit strange. It had a contemporary feel to it and a type of historical one also.

It comes off rushed and a bit messed up. It was lacking in certain aspects of the story that would have made the story more appealing to me. It also comes off very loose and sloppy to me. Other than those little problems, I actually enjoyed myself quite a bit. I loved the guys but they need something more to make them stand out also.

Overall this was a fun read and I would love to read another story by this author. I would recommend this fun, fast and slightly different type of story.
