For the length, too much was stuffed into it at once. It wanted to be a political thriller, but it also wanted to be a porn shoot. Alas. It had already rented the studio for a day, tops, and gotten the guys’ clothes off by the time they decided to go with the thriller.
The constant perspective switching was jarring. Would have been more immersive if Day had picked one character’s PoV and stuck to it.
This said, I’d be interested in seeing Day’s future work after a proficient edit. Kudos for making me squirm with classic gay daddy issues re: “ugh, this guy’s an asshole… and so’s my dad.”

Review: Master Lucas has his eye on bratty model Tai but Tai is not sure as Lucas only tops and he likes both ways. Lucas offers a contract and Tai counter offers for a third, Elliot. Elliot has a few issues of his own.
I thought it was cute the way Tai got tongue tied at times trying to talk to Elliot. Good thing Lucas does not have the same problem. These three men were hot together. I especially liked how Tai and Lucas took their time explaining things to Elliott as the story progressed.

One thing I love about this series is that each story has several things going on at once that all combine to give a fascinating read that draws you further into the community.
I love reading about each person and how they impact or fit in the group. Such a diverse group and tightly knit. I am looking forward to seeing hat else happens in this series.

Review: BSI Agent Cooper is not happy being assigned to work a murder case with Trust Agent Park.
The BSI works cases of the supernatural variety and the Trust works the same. With tensions running high a plan is hatched to get the two teams partnered with one another. The problem is the prejudice among the humans as the Trust are werewolf agents.
Cooper was extremely unprofessional at times due to his past. Park seems to take things in stride.
The investigation leads to more than one murder and a surprising twist that took me by surprise. I loved the mystery and the details surrounding the twist.
Park and Cooper slowly get closer to each other as they try to solve the murders. There is another twist that I did not see coming at all dealing with Cooper. Needless to say this was an interesting story with plenty of twists and turns.

Review: Rowan and his sister are from a coven that is not somewhere one would chose to be. The coven had old views and one of them was the females were subs and mated off to who ever the leaders wanted. Rowan did not want that for his sister. So they did the one thing they could do, they ran. They ran right into a wolf pack.
Rowan had talked the alpha into mating with him. It would strengthen the pack and protect them all. The one thing they need since the coven was coming for them and a pack was on the odd side of them. To bad Rowan didn’t remember a thing about it.
Magic always seems to come back to bite one in the ass, but in this case it might just help them out a bit. Now with this story I hate to admit that it comes off a bit stiff and it is hard to connect with the characters. It doesn’t really flow like it should have, but is still enjoyable to read. I can’t say that it is one of those stories that would be read more than once, but time will tell. I will also admit that it did manage to keep my attention while I was reading it. So that was a plus in my book.
It was a enjoyable read and I would definitely check out the rest of this author’s work out. I would recommend it.

Review: I really enjoyed reading about Craig, Amos, Finch, Blaze and Garnet. The guys were seriously bad ass. Tough as nails and not afraid to fight for what is right. Danger comes in many forms to the group. Power hungry alphas tear down and abuse pack members at their leisure. On top of that the group learns of a facility were people are taken never to be seen again.
This was a great beginning to a new series. I was disappointed in the two m/f/f scenes in it as I’m an m/m reader. But aside from that it was a gripping tale of love, betrayal, deceit, mystery and suspense. This story had me on the edge of my seat.
But I do wonder what happened to Sharpie. He was mentioned several times as one of the people taken yet there was no mention of him being one that was rescued or that died, so I’m curious as to what happened to him on that island.

Review: Each book in the Dark Knights collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is a branch off from several series, starting with Brac Pack. This includes Brac Pack, Brac Village, Christian’s Coven, Zeus’s Pack and many more.
Lynn Hagen was one of the first m/m romance authors that I started reading and actually kept on reading. The characters are fully developed and damn hot. They are alpha males with sexy little mates that have had their own problems. They are action packed with quite a bit of danger in them, but don’t worry there is some hot sexy time also.
Henry has the worst taste in men, the latest was in an open relationship. To bad the man had never said a word to Henry about it. Then he goes down to complain to his best friend, only to be abducted by a sexy bear shifter. A bear shifter who says he is his mate, to bad he has no clue what that means.
Nyx has had a very rough life and a darkness inside of him. He is an assassin for the Ultionem and protected the paranormals and the mates. He has finally found his mate and as it turns out the hunters no who they are. Things are going to get hairy real fast.
I loved this book but I knew I would before reading it. I am not a fan of the series name, but it only took me to the third book to remember where it came from. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I had a blast with it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Two agents are missing — presumed dead, while on a reconnaissance mission at an outdoor adventure centre in the Scottish Highlands. Sir James Aiken sends his son and Declan to follow the trail and discover the fate of the agents.
As the mission offers his first chance to use the skills he learned on the MI6 training course in Morocco, Declan is keen to get started. However, Sir James sees to it that the seeds of doubt and discord have been sewn between the couple, as they begin their mission.
The journey to their Highland location, and the discoveries they make when they reach the G’wan Adventures centre, prove that Sir James Aiken has been less than honest with his son. Events in the Highlands force Sam and Declan to face their greatest fears and understand what they both really want from life — and from each other.
After the devastating events in the Scottish Highlands, Sam and Declan have moved on to a new, deeper level in their romance. Their commitment to each other is unquestionable; however, there are plenty of questions that need answering about other aspects of their lives, and those who sought to end them.
Sam is trying his best to deal with the day to day frustrations of his injuries. He’s completely dependent on Declan for everything and hates the way the scales have tipped in their relationship. Although he’s officially on leave, Sam’s mind cannot stop replaying all that happened to him and questioning why, and who is behind it all.
Declan’s relief at having Sam home throws him into house-husband mode. He’s happy to take the reins and care for his partner, however, beneath the surface Declan cannot help but be drawn back to how he felt in the Highlands, and how they were betrayed by a man who was supposed to have their back. Declan had promised Sir James Aiken that he would pay if he hurt Sam, and now Declan has to decide how he can deliver his payback and put his and Sam’s world back on an even keel.
