Blurb: Mischa had loved Ben with every ounce of adoration his teenage heart could hold. But Ben couldn’t wait for him to grow up and went away to be a soldier. Nine years later Ben is back and Mischa is pregnant with Ben’s dead brother’s child.
His Whole Heart is a novella about healing broken promises and mending fractured hearts, and maybe learning that sometimes taking a second chance is better than the first one.
Review: Such a bittersweet story with love, heartbreak and a HEA. I loved Ben and Mischa. Mischa has been through so much. Ben for his part believes what his father says and thinks the worst of Mischa after so many years apart.
Such a beautifully written story. I felt for both Ben and Mischa and the wasted time they could have had. Mischa was strong in his resolve to not let Ben’s father bully him into anything. He was my hero in the story.
Blurb: ”Shane is my stepbrother; he’s family and strictly off-limits.”
Shane Prescott is a fun-loving omega with a knack for landing in trouble. He prides himself on efficiently running the waitstaff at his brother’s restaurant, Kamasouptra. Between his brother-slash-bestie, Keith, and his dog, Rocky, Shane doesn’t need anything else to make him happy. Love would be nice, but that ship sailed the day his mom married Keith’s dad.
Keith Anderson is focused on two things: making Kamasouptra the premiere place to dine in Hollydale and not giving into his feelings for his stepbrother. For the past several years, his life has been running smoothly to the point of being in rut. Keith’s life begins to change when an offbeat old lady befriends him and starts to make Keith think that it’s time to alpha up and chase what he really wants.
Between a smarmy food critic, April Fools pranks gone wrong, and two helpful old coots who dispense their unsolicited folksy wisdom to the brothers—you’ll be in stitches as you root for a pair of men who are so busy trying to follow societal expectations that they’re oblivious to the clear signs that maybe… just maybe… they were never meant to have a brotherly relationship in the first place. Things are about to change in major ways for this pair of stepbrothers, if they can just be brave enough to take a chance for happiness.
Review:Each book in The Hollydale Omegas collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Shane and Keith have been friends since grade school and knew they loved each other. Then their parents met and married making them family. It stopped them from ever trying to get together or even let the other know how they truly felt. It took two goofy ghosts to help them along.
I was not really sure how I wanted this review to go. I do not really care for alpha and omega’s who never shift. It takes away from the paranormal side of things other than the fact that ghost show up and the omega’s can get pregnant. My main issues with this and it doesn’t have much to do with the book is something the author threw in to the story that drives me nuts. It shows that the author has issues with certain things and adds it in to the story. It was about reviews and readers making me not really want to even bother with the story. However that is just my issues but readers do buy their books so you get what I am saying.
Now as for the story itself the characters were quite quirky and I got a kick out of them both. I love how omega’s know they can get pregnant but never think it when they start getting sick. It actually makes it feel like you are knowing them quite well. I did notice that this story came off a lot better than the previous books. It didn’t feel rushed but well thought out and the story just seemed to pop out better.
I find that Tom is still my favorite out of all the characters and he is still the same sweetie as he was when we first see him. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next book. I might even say that I can see myself reading this more than once.
Blurb: You can’t plan when you’ll fall in love—sometimes it just kinda sneaks up on you.
Todd Foxx was only looking to unwind from the stress of running The Sausage Shack when he went out for an evening of fun at The Big O. After he ended the evening by hooking up with a hot new alpha in town, he certainly never thought he’d see him again.
Hugo Keller left his high-profile job as a certified cicerone back east and moved across country to take a brewmaster job in Hollydale’s unique beer garden and sausage restaurant. A single dad, his only plans involved giving his young son a place to put down roots and focusing on his new job—even if it was a major step down from where he began. He certainly never expected to see his smoking hot one night stand again.
Can two men—and one precocious little boy—find a way to make a family? As Hugo and Todd slowly journey from lovers to coworkers to friends and back to lovers, they’ll need to deal with an ex-wife with boundary issues, a surprise pregnancy, and mysterious “mill girls” who like to giggle in the night.
Review:Each book in The Hollydale Omega collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
There is a rule that should be followed, never mess around with someone you work with. That was one of Todd’s little rules, to bad he forgot it in one night. To be fair he had no clue Hugo was his newest employee, but it was a fun night. A night that left them with a little gift.
Hugo had been married once before and it left him with a cute little four year old that asked many, and I do mean many questions. One night with a sexy omega and damn his eyes if he doesn’t walk into work and see him. To his shock and surprise, it is his new boss. Things are going to get real interesting. That is if his nutty ex-wife could keep her word and the three little girls who keep showing up did not drive him crazy first. Wait till you find out who those girls are, or should I say what they are.
When I first started reading this series I had decided four books later to drop her off my reading list. There had been so much spelling and grammar wrong with them that left me not wanting to waste my time on them. Even though there is a lot of humor mixed in with just a bit of paranormal weirdness to keep me entertained. I had decided on this story to just give it one more chance and I was very surprised with it. Which now makes me want to read the four I did not read.
The puns were quite a blast to read even if the freaky ghost were a little out there. It does make a good Halloween type story though. I liked the characters and Tom is always a pleasure to have in a story. Now I am still not a fan of the paranormal aspect of a story that doesn’t actually have the men doing anything other than giving birth. They don’t shift or anything like that and it is a downside for me. Also the alpha and omega titles with human guys doesn’t really do for it either. That was actually my only issues with this story and I hate to say would continue to do so.
Other than that it was a pleasant surprise and I was glad to have taken the time to read it. I like the uniqueness to it, as I only know one other author who writes similar stories. I am sorry to say that it won’t be a type of story that will be read more than, oh a half a dozen times (laugh). I had a blast reading it and look forward to the next book.
Blurb: Omega Milan Pryor knows his duty. He must travel North through the continent towards the snow, the cold, and his new betrothed. They say that Lord Alpha Raphael Ledford, the man he is to marry, is as artic as the weather of his land. But Milan has always been an optimist. Perhaps he might find friendship in the arranged marriage. Even love.
It doesn’t take long for Milan to realize that all the rumours about Lord Raphael are true. Reclusive, distant, frigid. Milan finds himself unwelcome in what he must now call his new home. He’s used to fighting for what he wants—but can he survive a husband as cruel as Lord Raphael?
Being bonded to one who rejects you is a painful thing. Will Milan be able to win his husband’s regard? What terrible secret is Lord Raphael keeping, and will Milan be able to discover it before it’s too late?
Review: Honeythorn is a totally and absolutely wonderful romance by Mariana Viviancos. I’ve never heard or read anything by the author before, however, I have a bit of weakness at times for Alpha/Omega type mating/male pregnancy books. So that was my starting point.
I’ll also quickly point out that this a great book if you are into other or all of the following: steampunk, regency romances and omegaverse stories (i.e. m-preg stories which does not involve shape shifters). Before I got into MM romances, the only MF romances I would read were historical romances, particularly Georgian and Victorian regency books and this was a massive flashback to many of those books. With a brooding Lord as an MC it also isn’t hard to think of some of the brooding heroes in books such as Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice or Wuthering Heights.
I find Honeythorn difficult to classify. It’s steampunk, and it does have a lot of the hallmarks of regency romance. But it is set in an alternate universe where there is one massive continent. There was no actual male pregnancy, but the world that has been created by Vivancos allows for the distinct possibility (does that mean there is more to look forward to?!).
The characters in this story are Lord Alpha Rafael Ledford and Omega Milan Pryor. Milan has been sent up north from the south of the massive continent to meet his new husband, Lord Ledford. Theirs is an arranged marriage, quite common in the world that has been created. It is a marriage that Milan has a lot of optimism for. His hopes, though, are dashed quickly and Milan and his mate’s rejection leads to immense pain. Pain that Milan feels he can not approach his husband about because Lord Ledford has made it quite clear that while he wants Milan comfortable (maybe), he isn’t about to try to make the relationship work. Ultimately, endangering Milan’s life as the bond is neglected.
Lord Rafael is a complex character. He has one disastrous mating, which has led him to close off his heart and emotions completely. Although he accept the arranged marriage/mating, he is not going out his way for his new husband. To Lord Rafael it is all a terrible convenience. However, this brooding alpha male has a lot to learn when it comes to omegas, marriages and love.
Blurb: Single omegin Brogan Dale is jealous of the loving, stable relationships his omega friends have with their alpha mates. For years, he’s longed to find his own bondmate and create a family, but that hasn’t been in the cards. Just when he’s determined to take the first alpha who’ll provide for himself and his young son Peyton, Brogan scents him across a crowded coffee shop. Too bad his bondmate is the unstable alpha who nearly killed Brogan’s best friend last year.
Mikel Tovey is taking it one day at a time, adjusting to life on his own, away from the oppression and abuse of his cruel sire. All he wants is to complete his probation, make sure his omegin and brothers are safe, and find a way to live with all the mistakes he’s made. When he scents his omega bondmate, Mikel is initially terrified of the older omegin and his adorable toddler. But Brogan is handsome, kind, and Mikel is completely enamored of little Peyton.
With his bondmate in his sights, Brogan does everything in his power to prove Mikel can be a good alpha, a good mate, and a fantastic father to Peyton. But when Brogan’s past comes roaring into his present and puts Peyton’s future at risk, Mikel’s resolve is shaken. He wants to love and support his omega during this crisis, but he doesn’t know how. With Brogan surrounded by friends and chosen family who love him, he doesn’t need Mikel’s insecurities weighing him down, too—but Brogan has found his mate, and he isn’t letting Mikel walk away without a fight.
This time, Brogan has too much to lose…
NOTE: This is a non-shifter Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class citizens with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law—although times are changing for the better. Trigger warnings for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. This series is best read in numerical order.
Review: This is Brogan and Mikhail’s story. I liked that the roles were reversed in this addition. We see an alpha who was abused and is unsure of himself after his past actions. Brogan is an omega who survived the fight ring and is the aggressor in this one. Mikhail does everything he can to atone for his mistakes as Brogan add his support and understanding.
It’s not easy for these two as the story progresses but by being there for each other they persevere. More is done about taking down more members of the fight club so that no other omega is taken and abused for the amusement of others.

Blurb: Learning to trust can bring a lifetime of joy.
As happily-married beta couple Serge and Dex Freel await the birth of their first child, Serge can’t help but think back to the rocky start of his and Dex’s relationship. After a party introduction from a mutual friend, a tentative friendship blooms into something much stronger. Marred by misunderstandings, personal prejudices, and Serge’s own inability to trust, they nearly go their separate ways more than once—and almost lose their chance at the beautiful life they’ll build together.
But Dex’s alpha-like stubbornness and Serge’s desperate need to care for others brings them back together over and over, until both men realize they’re truly stronger together than apart. But their happily-ever-after is hard-won and other friendships are tested, before Serge finally takes a chance on giving his heart to Dex and trusting the other man not to break it into unfixable pieces—and trust is not something Serge gives easily.
See how two fan-favorite characters from the Breaking Free Omegaverse series meet in this 42k word novella. The story is best enjoyed after reading Heard (BF #3), because the current timeline events occur during Heard’s epilogue, but it can also be easily read after Found (BF #4). Content warnings for previous books in the series apply.
Review: Serge and Dex are betas that have been in the series from the beginning so it was a must to get this couples back story and how they met. Both have been through some horrific events in their lives and Serge does not want to be with anyone.
But Dex is persistent. I love these two together. They helped each other grow and Dex showed Serge that not all are out to hurt others.
They had a few bumps along the way but are the stronger for them once the dust settled.
Alpha Morris Danvers likes his quiet life as a paralegal and as the uncle to his beta brother Morgan’s infant son Aeron. Raised by an abusive sire, Morris and Morgan have relied on each other for years, and Morris doesn’t trust himself to do right by an omega mate. When a tragic accident leaves Morris alone to raise a baby, he reaches out to his boss Ronin Cross for help—and gets more help than he ever imagined from Ronin’s mate and their friends. But Morris can’t take bereavement leave forever and Aeron needs a caregiver.
After surviving an abduction and months of torture, all omega Jaysan Rowe wanted was to give away the baby he never asked for and move on. But after months of acting out, Jaysan finally hits rock bottom on the one-year anniversary of his child’s birth. Desperate to get his act together, he meets with an alpha who needs full-time daycare for his infant nephew. But the instant Jaysan sets his sights on little Aeron he knows: Aeron is his biological child. Even Morris’s nose can tell the pair belongs to each other. His nose also tells him something even more shocking: Jaysan is his bondmate.
Both men feel the bond, but neither is ready to mate, period, so they come to a business arrangement. Jaysan wants a relationship with Aeron, and Morris needs a sitter. It should have been perfect, except for that pesky mating bond. A bond that draws them together, over and over, no matter how hard each man fights it. Jaysan swore long ago he’d never mate or let another alpha touch him during heat—except everything about Morris makes him feel safe. Wanted. Whole. But Morris deserves an unsoiled mate, not someone as dirty and used as Jaysan, and Jaysan will do anything to prove it to the stubborn alpha…even if it means giving up his son a second time.

Review: Morris loses his older brother to a car accident and finds he is the guardian of their son Aeron. Jaysan has mourned the fact that he gave his child up for adoption the day he was born. Kell tells Jaysan about someone needing a sitter so Jaysan goes to the interview. When he arrives he meets Morris and feels a bond. But more importantly he finds his son.
Jayson and Morris fight the bond between them every step of the way. I was flabbergasted at the lengths Jaysan went to make Morris see he was not interested but understood his reasoning. I love this story about two broken men who find light at the end of a tunnel in each other.
There was many ups and downs for these two along the way. Their friends help them out along the journey to finding happiness. I am in awe of this series. The only problem I’ve seen so far is couple of spelling errors in each book. Other than it’s wonderful.
I can see several more books in this series with certain characters coupled up.
Blurb:A widowed alpha finds something unexpected with a rescued, pregnant omega…
Two years after his longtime mate passed away, Senior Constable Isa Higgs lives for his work solving crimes and protecting the citizens of Sansbury Province—and he won’t admit to anyone that he’s lonely. His three beta sons barely speak to him, he has no real friends to speak of, and his home feels too empty most nights. When he helps free five omega prisoners from a life of torture and abuse, Isa is unexpectedly drawn to one in particular—an omega six months pregnant with another alpha’s child.
Liam Haley lost everything in one single tragedy—his family, his freedom, and his ability to make choices. And then he’s whisked out of hell by an alpha constable twice his age who should terrify Liam, but instead, the man makes him feel safe. Protected. Wanted. But Liam is carrying a child he isn’t sure he wants to keep, and the last thing he needs is to get attached to a widowed alpha who can’t possibly want him back…right?
With Liam pregnant and Isa previously mated, neither man is sure exactly what they’re feeling—only the more time they spend together, the closer they become. And Liam is still sorting through the trauma of his kidnapping, so friendship is their only recourse—until someone from Liam’s past shows up to claim what he believes is his. Now Isa has to choose between letting Liam go, or fighting like hell for the damaged, young omega he’s unexpectedly fallen in love with.

Review: Liam is rescued along with other pregnant omegas from a fight ring. He does not trust anyone except for Higgs. Scared and uncertain of what the future holds in store for him he turns to Higgs for comfort. Higgs is unsure of what he feels for Liam and considering the age difference he is not sure it’s a good idea to act on his feelings.
Higgs has three children, all in school. He lost his mate a few years ago and has been lonely so he buries himself in his work. The problem is he’s pushed his kids away. With Liam comes a new understanding of his children.
When an alpha makes a claim on Liam, Higgs will do anything to make sure Liam never suffers abuse again. I loved these two together. I also liked the fact that none of the couples just fall into bed after the first meeting like most books. Each has suffered didn’t indignities. The omegas need time to adjust an find themselves after the horrific events of their pasts.
I loved that the alpha mates gave these omegas time, patience and understanding given their circumstances. Another great addition to an ongoing series that ties all the characters together in a well written emotional saga.
Blurb: An omega who can’t speak meets an alpha who won’t listen….
Karter Jenks is a first-year constable who’s still trying to prove himself to his superiors, so he isn’t looking for a mate right now. Soon, sure, but he also knows he has work to do to change his alphahole tendencies around omega rights. The Kell Iverson trial opened his eyes to how cruelly some omegas are treated, and Karter doesn’t want to follow in his authoritarian father’s footsteps when he finds his mate. And he absolutely does not expect a homeless omega vagrant and burglary suspect to be his bondmate.
Jax Orris escaped a life of captivity and pain to save himself and his infant son. Living as vagrants isn’t ideal, but it’s better than trusting the authorities who landed Jax in hell to begin with. When their hiding place is discovered, Jax is shocked to feel the mating bond with the young alpha who’s been tracking him—and even more shocked when the constable doesn’t immediately arrest him for his crimes. It helps him trust Karter enough to accept his help in keeping himself and his son safe from the men Jax escaped.
Jax’s story horrifies Karter, and he vows to protect his omega from further harm—but first he has to get his stubborn, angry omega to trust him. Trust is no longer in Jax’s nature, but he can’t deny his connection to the young alpha eager to please him. Jax never thought he’d want another alpha to touch him, much less mate with him, but Karter’s gentle patience breaks down the walls Jax erected around his heart after the death of his first mate. As Jax’s next heat approaches, the investigation into his captivity uncovers surprising connections to several previous cases, and the danger to everyone involved increases. Can he trust Karter to protect him, or will Jax’s past destroy their chance for a happily ever after?
NOTE: This is a non-shifter Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class citizens with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law. Trigger warnings for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse
Review: Jax is an omega who escapes the omega fight ring while pregnant. He is caught by Constable Jenks after he breaks into two houses for baby supplies. Jenks immediately takes the man and his child somewhere safe. Jax cannot speak due to the doctor who works for the fight ring cutting his vocal cords completely.
I loved that despite being young Karter protects Jax from all the evil that he has been through. With the help of friends he didn’t know he had the two manage to get closer to each other. The baby is adorable and Karter falls hard for the two of them.
There is danger all around as an investigation is under way to find the culprits. I loved how the omegas from previous books as well as omegas from different cases all rally together to fight for each other as well as their rights. Their support was rock solid and whole. The unwavering support of the alphas who believe in being good to omegas was awesome.
Blurb: Hell is a six-by-six jail cell and no hope for the future.
Kell Iverson has never raised his hand against another person in his entire life—and yet somehow he’s been arrested and charged with the murder of his alpha mate Krause. Sure, Krause brutalized him on a daily basis, and Kell hated his mate, but he never wanted the man dead. Not fighting the charge and accepting his fate is the easiest path—except Kell doesn’t think he’ll survive a week in prison, and he doesn’t want to disappoint his younger brother Braun by giving up. He also doesn’t expect to recognize the lawyer who shows up to defend him.
Ronin Cross was barely eighteen when he felt the mating bond with then-fourteen-year-old Kell, but his family moved away before Ronin could decide what to do. For the last ten years, he hasn’t forgotten teenage Kell, hasn’t mated, and now he’s in Sansbury Province to defend adult Kell from a capital murder charge. The mating bond is still there, but now isn’t the time to pursue anything with his fragile, battered, emotionally-damaged client.
For Kell, the term “kind alpha” is a contradiction, because he’s never known one. He went from abusive father to abusive mate, and for twenty-four years, he’s simply done what he’s told. But Ronin asks Kell what he wants. What he likes. Ronin sees him, and it’s both confusing and delightful. But Kell is facing prison time at best, execution at worst, and as his trial date looms, he can’t indulge in a fantasy that will never come true…or can he?
NOTE: This is a non-shifter Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class citizens with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law. Trigger warnings for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.
Review: Kell is in jail awaiting trial for murder. His lawyer is a man from his childhood, Ronan cross. Ronan is protective of Kell given that he is Ronan’s mate. Years ago these two were separated when Ronan’s family moved away all of a sudden. Jumping at the chance to be around Kell again, Ronan springs into action doing what he does best.
The trial was heartbreaking and the details of the abuse Kell suffered by his husband horrific. Braun, Kell’s brother, is a rock for the young man in his time of need. As the trial drags on Ronan and Kell grow closer.
I loved these two as a couple. Kell, despite all he’s suffered is strong. Though it does take him time to come to grips with all he’s suffered throughout his life.
An emotional and amazing addition to the series as new evidence is brought to light as well as new leads to other cases.
Blurb: He didn’t want an alpha to save him, but fate had other ideas…
Braun Etting was raised to know his place as an omega by his alpha father’s cruel words and fast fists, and he expects nothing but violence from the alpha who may one day mate him. His older brother Kell mated a cruel alpha who abuses him daily, and Braun is terrified of that seemingly inevitable future. When Braun’s father dies in a car crash, leaving Braun an orphan, he’s sent to a halfway house for omegas. But on his fourth night there, he witnesses a horrifying crime that sends him fleeing to the streets alone—and edging into his first heat.
Tarek Bloom is settled in his workaholic, single lifestyle, even if it is somewhat embarrassing to be a twenty-eight year-old unmated alpha. He enjoys his job as a constable, helping people and solving problems, so he isn’t prepared for his life to flip upside-down when he walks into his beta friend Dex’s apartment to help with “a problem.”
The problem turns out to be an unmated, nearly in-heat omega orphan who Dex and his husband rescued off the street last night. The even bigger problem is that Tarek feels the mating bond for this terrified omega immediately—and he’s pretty sure the omega feels it, too. But Braun hates alphas as a general rule, and no way is he giving in to the bond. All mating leads to is violence and suffering, so no thank you. But Tarek’s gentle kindness slips under Braun’s emotional shields, and Braun begins to want. To dream. All Braun has ever known is violent alphas, but Tarek is determined to make Braun trust him—and to trust in the idea of their happily ever after.

Review: I loved this story. Braun, an omega, has lost his abusive father to a car accident. Braun and his brother Kell have not had the easiest lives. They have been abused and made to feel like they do not matter simply because they are omegas. To make matters worse the laws in their province provide no protection for omegas what so ever. This made me mad as hell. My heart broke for all the injustices these two have been through not to mention what other omegas have been made to suffer.
This is an intense and emotional story about an omega who wants all omegas to be heard and treated with respect by all instead of second class citizens with no rights. Tarek is a constable who recognizes Braun as his mate when he meets him. Through patience and understanding he lets Braun get to know him. There was a lot of cases popping up in this story. I hope we get to see the conclusion of the ones that happened near the beginning as I want to know who kidnapped all those teens and what the man running the halfway house knew about the omegas going missing and where the omegas went.
The saddest part about the entire story is Kell, Braun’s brother. He’s mated to an evil abuser alpha. At the end of this book Kell is in jail for the murder of his mate. I honestly wouldn’t shed a tear if the man did kill him as the things he put that man through for years was despicable. Not to mention giving Kell’s baby away because it was not an alpha.
The funniest thing in the book was what the mean narrow-minded alphas are called: Alphahole. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series about Kell.
Blurb: Greyson Bishop is a hot mess. He’s pregnant, and his alpha dumped him. His boss is stealing his work and claiming it as his own. His roommate is abusive, and his landlord just gave him a week to move out. Most importantly, he’s in love with a man that’s way out of his league. He needs to get his shit together so he can be a good father and maybe, just maybe, catch the alpha of his dreams.
Harper Wilson has his shit together, but desperately wants the omega he’s fallen in love with. Grey knows Harper is a demisexual and accepts him, lock, stock, and barrel. All he needs to do is figure out how to get his omega out of Florida and into Harper’s home in Maine.
The two men are meant for each other, but vile exes and lying bosses do their best to ruin the happily-ever-after Grey and Harper deserve.
Greyson is a pregnant omega who had lost his alpha. His alpha had decided he didn’t want Grey any longer nor did he want the baby. He works a job he loves but is about to get evicted from his home, because an asshat doesn’t like pregnant omegas with no alpha’s in sight. To top it off someone is stealing his work and his roommate was an abusive jackal. He wants to trust his best friend with his baby news, but hell he hasn’t even told his abuela. Too bad he forgot that he left his computer part on, Harper found out.
Harper has wanted Greyson with all of his heart. When he found out what was going on with Greyson and the fact that he was pregnant, well lets just say the family is going to help. First he had to figure out how to Greyson to move to Maine.
Then there is a jealous omega who is nuttier than all hell out to get Harper back. Plus someone out to kill Greyson.
Action packed, excitement overload, sexy times, and pets out of your ears is what you get in this story and so much more. My attention had been caught from the start and kept all the way to the end. Now I was actually quite surprised, because there are very few stories like this that I truly like. I am not a fan of alpha and omega stories with mpreg, where there is no actual shifting. It usually comes off bizarre to say the least. However I found that I liked this quite a bit.
It does have it little problems but they are not truly noticable. I would have liked the first part of the story defining a bit more on who they are and how they met. A little bit more back ground was needed but not so much. I still found myself enjoying the guys quite a bit. It flowed quite evenly and the pace was pretty good . I would love to get my hands on the next book.
Shorty’s Review: đź’–đź’–đź’–đź’– 3 1/2 Hearts
Harper and Grey seem to be pulled apart around every turn they attempt to make with each other. Grey had it the worst though. But eventually the achieve their happy ever after.
I liked the story. It was sweet and cute between Harper and Grey when they were together. I was cheering for them throughout the story.
As the first son of a wealthy family, there are expectations. He has to marry the right omega, and have blue-blooded children. Nickolas is prepared to do his duty until an encounter with an omega, so far from his world, changes everything. For the first time, he’s met someone who sees him and not his wealth but can love overcome years of duty and expectations?
Jaimie
What is an omega to do when he is alone in the world? Survive of course. Jaimie leaves his small town for the city and for the first time in his life he gets to be young and free. But, no one has told him the consequences. Now he’s pregnant by a man who thinks he’s only good for one thing. Jay is proved right when he discovers that the alpha intended to save marriage and children for an omega who is more suited to his wealth and status. What is an omega to do when he’s pregnant and alone and not sure he can trust his alpha? But now he has no other choice and only one person he can turn to.
Review:Â Nickolas wanted what his grandfathers had, a marriage that was filled with love and laughter. However he thought he would never get that and did what his parents wanted. He was engaged to an ass, or should I say an stuck up omega. Their kind married for money and Nickolas was about to do that. That is until he noticed a cute red head who just made him loose his mind. One night and well you can guess what happened. To bad he was engaged to another and the omega that wanted him just found out. He was going to get his ass kicked.
Jaimie just wanted to do his job but so far knocking over the coffee in a meeting is not a good sign. His trying to make up for it got him a hot night with an alpha that made him want for more. To bad his alpha is getting married. One shock isn’t enough, well how about finding out he is pregnant….with twins!
I will say that when I first started reading this story I was about to say hell no. The alpha was engaged and sleeping around, that is not a story I want to read. They might not have a love relationship, but no cheating what so ever. However I decided to stick it out, cause lets face it Jaimie is a doll. He was a kick ass little omega who is not going to put up with any of his alpha’s shit. I got a kick out of him. However the alpha ended up being a good guy and I had a blast reading their story.
The story was engaging, enticing and quite fun to read. The characters were like any other alpha and omega pair but their story was unique in a way. Now I will admit that I am not a fan of alpha and omega’s that don’t shift, but it was still a pretty good story. That being said the story itself might be unique but it is also used quite a bit, so no big surprises there. What is unique was the way they were together and their actions were a bit more fresh then most. I can’t guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read more than once, but it is still early on in the series. This author was new to me so I wasn’t to sure what to expect but was surprised in the end.
I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next story. I will be checking out this authors other work to see what there is out there.

Heat For Sale
(Heat for Sale 01)
by
Blake Moreno
Heat can be sold but love is earned.
In a world where omegas sell their heats for profit, Adrien is a university student in need of funding. With no family to fall back on, he reluctantly allows the university’s matcher to offer his virgin heat for auction online. Anxious, but aware this is the reality of life for all omegas, Adrien hopes whoever wins his heat will be kind.
Heath—a wealthy, older alpha—is rocked by the young man’s resemblance to his dead lover, Nathan. When Heath discovers Adrien is Nathan’s lost son from his first heat years before they met, he becomes obsessed with the idea of reclaiming a piece of Nathan.
Heath buys Adrien’s heat with only one motivation: to impregnate Adrien, claim the child, and move on. But their undeniable passion shocks him. Adrien doesn’t know what to make of the handsome, mysterious stranger he’s pledged his body to, but he’s soon swept away in the heat of the moment and surrenders to Heath entirely.
Once Adrien is pregnant, Heath secrets him away to his immense and secluded home. As the birth draws near, Heath grows to love Adrien for the man he is, not just for his connection to Nathan. Unaware of Heath’s past with his omega parent and coming to depend on him heart and soul, Adrien begins to fall as well.
But as their love blossoms, Nathan’s shadow looms. Can Heath keep his new love and the child they’ve made together once Adrien discovers his secrets?
Heat for Sale is a stand-alone m/m erotic romance by Leta Blake, writing as Blake Moreno. Infused with a du Maurier Rebecca-style secret, it features a well-realized omegaverse, an age-gap, dominance and submission, heats, knotting, and scorching hot scenes.
Blurb: Victor Docimo loved his mate more than anything, and he’s worked hard to provide Charles with the life that he deserved. He’s strived to be the Alpha that his own Father was not.
Charles spent the last twenty-six years mated to his perfect Alpha. He raised their son and managed their home. He’s tried to provide his Alpha with a family, despite the fact that he can’t have more children. After seeing Victor with another Omega, he begins to wonder if he’s enough.
Now, the two of them must face their greatest challenge yet, something that shouldn’t be possible: a broken bond.
Review: Each book in the Direction’s collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Victor’s home life growing up was filled with hate and anger. His alpha father was down right nasty to his omega father, so much so in the end his omega father ended his life. It made Victor want to stay away from fated mating. That lasted until he found his sexy mate. And their life was a blessing and a curse.
Charles had had a problem after giving birth to Aiden, and it had made it where there would be no more babies. It made him wonder if Victor was better off with another omega. They had been together for many years and after the move they seemed to fizzle. Things needed to spark to get them back on track.
Well I am glad to see Aiden’s parents once more and in their own story. There were some issues I had with the book that made it hard to actually like the story. It felt rushed for one and the way the characters were with each other just seemed to drive me nuts. In the beginning we go Victor’s upsetting past, then it didn’t go anywhere else. They have a grown son and a grandbaby to spoil, but their own lives are on hold. Charles blamed it on the fact he couldn’t give his alpha anymore babies. They lost their connection to each other and their bond broke.
In true mated stories it is unheard of but it is exactly that their bond broke. This is one of those paranormal stories where they don’t shift but are considered alpha’s and omega’s. They meet and the omega’s pop out babies. The author told a story that is so like many others but added in a bit of flare to where their bond can disolve if not tended to. This book didn’t give me anything I couldn’t have gotten from any other story. It did not pop out or stand out to me which was disappointing. The story had great potential but didn’t truly deliver.
I didn’t connect with this story or its characters like I should have. I was quite disappointed in the telling of this story and wished for more action, suspense and a bit of danger added in. For now I can say that this story just didn’t do it for me.
Blurb: Everett Surlin longed for the day that his Fated mate finally recognized him. It’d been eight years since he’d first met Matt Jenkins, he’d never imagined it take this long for his mate to realize their connection.
Matt Jenkins had done his best to put his past behind him. The abuse he’d endured as a child stayed locked away inside him, never to be shared with anyone. He’d assumed that as a result of his upbringing, he was broken and he would never have a mate. That didn’t stop him from desiring Everett and wishing that they could be together.
When tragedy strikes, Matt stays at Everett’s side, which just might be the push he needs to discover what had been there all along and a future he never dreamed would be possible.
Review: Each book in the Direction’s collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Everett found his mate eight years ago, but since Matt was a teenager he just kept his distance. Which was pretty hard to do since Matt was around quite a bit growing up. I would imagine Everett’s pain in that time. When Matt needs to come stay on the ranch, well you can imagine the cold showers going on.
Matt has been holding on to a deep and dark secret in his past. One that had almost killed him, but thanks to friends he had been given a new life. However the past always comes back to bite you in the ass sometimes. Then the moment Matt realizes Everett is his mate and well you can guess what is going to hapen. Say goodbye to cold showers.
The buildup in the terror of his past was built up and then no explosion. It was kind of a let down in the end. The heat does level up once Matt does find out about his mate so that was a nice surprise. The story was a bit better than the first one, but I still didn’t like how the book just seem to dwindle down to a passive type of story. The one danger, action and suspense was nothing much more than a little pop when nothing happened.
I will admit that this series has not turned out the way I had hoped. There is more heat and sexual tension in this story but even that was tampered down. I hate to admit that this is one of those stories that are a bit of a drag and not really memorable. Other than my issues with it, it is still a nice read for when you need a break.
Blurb: Aiden was an Omega who needed a job doing what he loved. He never imagined he’d meet his fated mate during the interview. He was ready to bond right away, but something stopped his Alpha from claiming him. Aiden’s patience held strong, but being near his mate every day without bonding threatened to drive him insane. Brandon owned a successful company, and he wanted to share that success with his mate and their child. But the continued thefts troubled him and the last thing he wanted to do was drag his new mate into any danger. Danger found them anyway.
Review: Brandon had taken over the company after his father and he was in need of some help. Damn thieves were stealing him blind, ok maybe not, but he needed to find out who was behind it. He also needed some help, but what he had not expected was for the new worker to be his mate.
Aiden wanted his dream job or at least close to it. He was good at his work and knew it. He hadn’t expected to walk in find his mate and be given the job with in seconds of each other. His mate was going to drive him crazy though, and if that man didn’t claim him soon well he could not be held accountable for his actions.
I have a blast reading about omega’s who can get pregnant, it always makes be laugh my ass off. This story really doesn’t have any world building just meet, find out they are mates, play it off a bit, then find the trouble, mate and have a baby. Aiden comes off pretty good and a pretty unique omega, where as Brandon comes off more annoying. Here he has his mate standing in front of him and it is work he aims at. Makes Aiden wait a bit to be mated, but there doesn’t seem to be real chemistry with them like there should be.
The danger that was provided from the thief was taken care of pretty fast and there was no real drama to it. I would have perferred to have a bit more of it to make the story more exciting, but it didn’t turn out that way.
Other than my issues with it, the story was a fun little one to read. I am afraid that I can’t imagine myself reading it more than once though, but it was still a nice read. There just wasn’t anything to it that would make it explosive. I hope the next book will have a bit more to it.
