Blurb: Twelve years have passed since Tristan and his friends were rescued by the council enforcers and brought to Gillham. Tristan’s friends have adapted. They have full lives, but he doesn’t. He’s still trapped in the grief of losing his mate in the lab they were both locked in, and he hasn’t given himself the opportunity to start healing, isolating himself instead.

Hudson knows exactly what losing a mate does to a person. He lost Paul, his mate, in a car accident twenty-six years earlier, and in many ways, he still feels the pain of that day. When he meets Tristan, he immediately knows he can help him—if not to heal, at least to have a chance to start living again.

Tristan’s shell is hard to break, but Hudson isn’t the kind of man who gives up easily. Still, Tristan has to be the one to choose to take the first step toward healing, or Hudson won’t be able to do anything for him. Will Tristan’s shroud of grief keep Hudson away, or will Hudson be able to get through to him and talk to his hurting soul?

Review: Each book in Council Enforcers collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is the children from Whitedell Pride and Gillham Pack so I would suggest reading those first.

Tristan is one of the shifters who had been rescued from one of the labs twelve years ago. His mate had been killed and he was still hurting. He had never spoken a word of it to his friends or the pack though. He designed his beautiful home and made it his prison. A prison of pain and guilt.

Hudson had lost his mate over twenty-six years ago to a car accident. So he knows how it feels to loose a mate. So when he meets Tristan, he sees the same pain as he had and still has. He just wants to help the man, but doesn’t expect to fall in love with.

Fascinating story that kept my attention throughout the whole book. It has quite a bit of surprises in it for me, lots of action, excitement and so much more in it. The worlds that this author creates is quite entertaining and somewhat mysterious. The characters are fully developed with quite a bit of attitude backing them up.

I enjoyed reading this story and can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. I would definitely recommend it.

Review: When I first came across this story, I didn’t immediately pick it up. It wasn’t until I actually realized that it is a paranormal that I decided to give it a try. I have not read many stories by this author, so I wasn’t real sure what I was going to get. I love paranormal romance stories, but am not a fan of anything sports, so it was going to be an interesting read.

Marc is a cute red panda shifter and a goalie. He is not what I had expected to say the least. I am picturing a very small person but he is in fact taller than I had thought. So I put my son in his place and imagined him playing the game, and remembered a couple of goal shots he had done, and got it. Marc has the hots for a player on another team, and things are heating up pretty fast between them.

Lucas is a jaguar shifter and lets just say he is sexy as hell. He is falling for the goalie of another team and damn things are looking up for them both. Then an injury ends his life on the ice, as a player. If you want to know more, read the book.

Now I will say that it is a very cute story, but also very long winded. The story jumps time from meeting to hooking up. It is a long distance romance I suppose. There is no real spice to the story, just a normal romance. If you didn’t know they were shifters, you would not know it through out the story to much. Half the time I forgot they were, because the story is focused on the ice. It is a straightforward romance with just a bit of kink, nothing making the story standout at all.

The guys had chemistry from the start, but the story did not. It came off as a bit boring and dull to me, don’t get me wrong I still liked it a bit, but wouldn’t read it again. It was drawn out and could have been a bit better had there been more excitement to it. However for now, there is nothing to make me want to read it once more. I am sorry, it is a cute story but just off to me.

Review: Although I’ve read this type of story before I was looking forward to reading this one. I loved some of the authors other series I’ve read so I was expecting more a long the same lines. Alpha Jake and Betas Theo and Landis have been everything to each other for a long time. However they keep things quiet with the other members of their pack. When they are found out they flee for their lives.

We are introduced to Aiden, the trios mate and Finn. Now I found Aiden to be a bit childish considering his age and what about Finn? There is not a lot of resolution to different questions I have by the end of the book.

I am hoping at least some questions will be answered later in the series or the next book.

Review: Prince Jytrerd, is part of an alien species that protects earth. Ian is the captain of a ship that was captured along with others and sentenced in a variety of ways. I honestly did not how I felt about the executions. They were brutal if you ask me but they did not go into detail which I appreciated.

Ian is saved from death by Prince Jytrerd and set in his household, what follows is Ian getting to know his place and the others. But not all is roses. There are bumps along the way that cause major complications for the two men.

Interesting beginning to a series that I look forward to reading more of.

Review: Each book in the Allegheny Shifters collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Levi is a cute little badger shifter who is in need of a husband. He has a secret that is somewhat dangerous to him, he is a carrier. His father, the alpha, sets him up with an asshat bear shifter. To bad the man is a jerk, but damn is he sexy. To bad Levi has a bigger attitude and turns the shifter down. This Leads him to a sexy little shifter who is in danger, Seamus. Wow choices are hard.

Dimitri lets his attitude take over and if I was Levi, I would not give him a second chance. But he is determined to change Levi’s mind, but he is surprised to find out that Levi is changing Dimitri’s attitude. Now if they could just figure out who is trying to kill them both. Or should I say the three of them, surprise and I am not talking about Seamus.

Now my first thoughts with carrier was not pregnancy. It was a nice surprise though and I truly enjoyed it. This story is very catchy and kept my attention throughout. The characters are fully developed and sexy as hell. I like how the author uses unique shifters in her stories. The worlds she creates are unique in themselves and quite a blast to live in.

I had a lot of fun reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. Catherine Lieven’s is one of my top favorite authors and I am glad to see that she is still one.

Review: Books, Bulls and Bacchanals

I really enjoyed this murder mystery with Dio and Leander. The two of them are so different yet have similar issues to work through. Leander’s back story is heartbreaking to say the least. Dio is just a delight all around.

Wonderful story with plenty of mystery and some hot action between Dio and Leander.

Midwinter Dancing

I personally did not care for this story about Artemis and Ing. First it’s female, female which I do not care for. Second it did not feel complete. It cuts off shortly after the two meet.

*Pixie*~~ It’s a short or more like an interlude where Ing, who believes in the old Gods because of her Grandmothers stories, stumbles across some young ladies dancing in the snow. Ing who feels out of place in her own family feels an immediate connection to Artemis.

It’s a cute short, too short to give much more than a ‘I liked it’, it would be interesting to see if a more fleshed out story of Artemis and Ing was in the future.

Pack Up the Moon

In this story Charon, the ferryman, plays a starring role as well as Azeban, the raccoon lesser god. Azeban is forced to do an ancient beings bidding. There is no way out that he can see until Charon takes an interest. Once the plan is revealed it will take a miracle or two to thwart the god’s plan.

I loved this story. Suspense, mayhem, love and learning to trust others. Azeban and Charon made a hot couple.

I really enjoyed most of the stories in this book. Each one added an extra layer of mystery to the overall feel except for the second book. All it added was two extra characters. Aside from that the investigations were done brilliantly. The conclusions to each case were awesome.

Review: Each book in Wyoming Shifters: 12 Years Later collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is the children from Whitedell Pride, Gillham Pack and Council Enforcers, so I would suggest reading those first.

Luke is one of those kids that was created in a lab and turned into a killer. Having been rescued as a child and raised in the pack. He is now working as a deputy for the police department in Gillham. He doesn’t really have an interest in sex and he is a bit stiff. What he had not expected to find was his mate. A mate that acted like he didn’t want him.

Ned was running away from college. He has someone after him and needs his family. To find his mate should bring him happiness, but he is human. He is also only a young man and doesn’t want to settle down, but mostly it is to protect his family. He should know that Luke can take care of himself.

Most of the time they have their serious tones but there is quite a bit of humor mixed in with them that make them even more fascinating for me. Each story will have danger, excitement, adventure and some hot fun sexy times.

I love how Catherine puts together a book that will draw you in and keep you captivated all the way to the end. Catherine has become one of my favorite authors, and I am glad to see that it will never change. This is one book I would recommend.

Review: Each book in A Loving Nip collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. In fact I would recommend reading the very first series that leads you to this one. Wolves of Stone Ridge is the starter that many different series branched off, so I would start with that one first. There are about five different series, so you will definitely be entertained.

I came across Charlie when she wrote her very first book for the Wolves of Stone Ridge series and never looked back. You will meet a group of alpha that want the love of their mates. They live many centuries and their mates make their lives better and a bit interesting. Most of the time they have their serious tones but there is quite a bit of humor mixed in with them that make them even more fascinating for me. Each story will have danger, excitement, adventure, and a touch of kink to them that will keep your attention the whole time, like it does for me.

Raphael decided to stay at the ranch where his brother made his home at. He couldn’t see what the big deal was, give him a fancy coffee shop anytime. However there was one man on the ranch that might just change his mind. To bad Raphael is not gay.

Kase is one hell of a paranormal who has just found his mate. Now he just has to change the man’s mind. Things are going to get real interesting. I love how Charlie puts together a book that will draw you in and keep you captivated all the way to the end. Charlie has become one of my favorite authors, and I am glad to see that it will never change. This is one book I would recommend.

Review: Canines, Crosshairs & Corpses

Hades is given devastating news and so looks for something else in his life. He decides to open a P.I business called Brandywine Investigations. A few murders has him thinking they are connected and so starts looking for clues. He runs across Tiberius, Ti, right after one murder. Ti is a homeless man just looking for a place to sleep but his world is turned upside down when introduced to Hades’ world. I liked the story but at times felt Hades’ character was off somehow. Ti for his part was an alcoholic battling life and all that entails. The two work together to figure out the case.

No Enemy But Time

This is a story with Zack, God of the hunt and Hades son, and Michael. There are Fallen Angels going mad in the city and the consequences are deadly. It is up to Brandywine Investigations along with Zack’s help to find out what is going on. The problem is Michael begins to show the same signs as the other fallen angels did. Zack is in for a fight to save the man he loves. While I did not connect with the MC’s I did enjoy the story.

Dragons, Diamonds & Discord

This story is about Hermes and a dragon who steals his jewellery. But it’s way more complicated than that as it turns out it was not his doing. Chocked full of suspense and chaos this story packs a punch when it is revealed as to what is really going on.

I really liked these stories. They are all connected so it is best to read them in order. I liked the couples as well as the side characters. The mix of Greek mythology was a definite bonus for me. I especially liked the end when all the books are tied in together.

Blurb: Gordo Livingstone never forgot the lessons carved into his skin. Hardened by the betrayal of a pack who left him behind, he sought solace in the garage in his tiny mountain town, vowing nev-er again to involve himself in the affairs of wolves.

It should have been enough.

And it was, until the wolves came back, and with them, Mark Bennett. In the end, they faced the beast together as a pack…and won.

Now, a year later, Gordo has found himself once again the witch of the Bennett pack. Green Creek has settled after the death of Richard Collins, and Gordo constantly struggles to ignore Mark and the song that howls between them.

But time is running out. Something is coming. And this time, it’s crawling from within.

Some bonds, no matter how strong, were made to be broken.

Review: Ravensong is the second book in TJ Klune’s Green Creek series, which is based upon the lives and current trials of the Bennett Wolf Pack of Green Creek, Oregon. If you’ve not read or heard the audio of the first book, Wolfsong, then it is vital to have gone through that intense journey before starting Ravensong. The events of this book pick up directly from book one, so I guarantee it will be confusing.

However, I highly recommend this series, especially to people new to TJ Klune. This is good for people that like a paranormal romance with shape shifters. It’s by no means a light read, it is intense and there is a good dose of angst. By the time you get to the end, your heart won’t be pieced back together after being torn apart, but there is so much more going on and we just need to wait for the next books as this series hits it’s halfway point.

Kirt Graves does a flawless performance narrating this book. He narrated the audio for Wolfsong as well. The way that man times pauses is an absolute art form. He really nailed the rollercoaster of emotions throughout the book.

While the story of the Green Creek Pack continues with their two alphas, Jo and Ox, we enter the very complicated lives of Gordo Livingstone and Mark Bennett.

Gordo is a man with a lot of baggage, a lot of fear and so much love and potential for love, it’s heart breaking. He also happens to be a witch. He father was once the witch for the Bennett Pack. As a child he saw his father transform into a dark witch, though, which tore apart the Bennett Pack and saw him become the pack witch at a very young age. Also at that young age he discovered that he was mate to one of those wolves – Mark Bennett, who is only a couple years older than Bennett although they were on the cusp of adulthood when this revelation occurred. But the Bennetts had to leave and Gordo felt that everyone in his life was abandoned. He remained in Green Creek where he became a mechanic, took over the shop and eventually led to when he appointed himself as the protector of Ox. Over the years the bitterness has consumed him, especially when he perceived danger when the Bennetts returned and it became apparent that his history could repeat with Ox.

Mark Bennett is a man with baggage when it concerns his mate. He has so much regret although he has never stopped loving Gordo. However, the danger that surrounds the pack in the form of Gordo’s evil father is working as a catalyst to bring the two men together. Mark instincts drive him to protect Gordo, despite Gordo’s feeling that Mark abandoned him.

The story goes between the past and “present”, as we get to know Mark and Gordo more. We get the events of Wolfsong from Gordo’s view (the chunk of time where Jo was absent from Ox’s life). With the evil plan of Gordo’s father, Richard Livingstone unfolding, I’m looking forward to find out how the Green Creek Pack fare.

Blurb: Arri had been abused and picked on all his life. Born a runt, and then maturing into an omega, he was cast out of his pack. Figuring he’d not find another pack willing to take him in, he struggled to make a life for himself in the human world.

If he didn’t have bad luck, he had no luck at all. Jobs were hard to come by, and he wasn’t able to keep them for long, his omega empathy causing humiliating meltdowns.

He’d been robbed, mugged, and nearly raped too many times to count. Arri’s wolf was fundamentally broken, with no way to emerge, or protect him, finally withdrawing deep within him and remaining silent.

Then, a day came when things changed. Answering yet another employment ad, he was stunned to find the source of the advertisement was a beta wolf, then was shocked further when he was presented before the alpha of the Woodlynn pack. He’d heard rumors about this pack, the alpha considered one of the strongest on the continent.
He believed the rumors after meeting the large male.

Arri’s silent wolf had awakened, whispering to him, calling the alpha, mate, which was ridiculous. Alphas didn’t mate with lowly omegas. Especially male omegas, even though Arri was perfectly capable of giving an alpha pups, or so he’d been told by the old ex-beta he’d befriended. But then again, male omegas were rare, and thought little of, viewed as weak, considered unnatural. So, he would ignore his wolf, do his job, and keep his head down, not causing Alpha Dryden any cause to fire him.

*~*~*~*

Dryden knew there was something different about the assistant his beta, Vann, had brought to him. He was human, yet he smelled of wolf. But not a scent Dryden had ever experienced before. Vann hadn’t seemed to notice, though Dryden suspected his beta was still angry at Dryden insisting on a human assistant.

How could he tell his beta he’d felt an uneasiness in his pack, a danger that he couldn’t put his finger on, and didn’t want to trust any pack-mates to handle his affairs?

As time passed, his instincts that something was wrong within his pack grew, along with the certainty that Arri was not what he seemed.

It was when Dryden was visiting another pack, tremulous negotiations for an alliance in the works, and Arri was attacked, that the truth came out. Dryden’s assistant was an omega wolf. And not just any omega, but a Fae Omega, which would be the reason Dryden hadn’t known.

Omega wolves were rare, and most packs banished them for their weaknesses. But a Fae Omega was unheard of, most believing them myths. The Fae had died out a long time ago, and for an omega wolf to be born with Fae blood was incredible.

But that wasn’t Dryden’s biggest problem. The moment Arri had shifted, Dryden’s wolf went into the blood-mate fever, the need to claim the omega the only thing he was capable of thinking about.

But to claim Arri, Dryden would have to fight the alpha of Arri’s home pack, and he wasn’t sure he could win. And, then there was the unknown threat within his own pack that he still needed to figure out.

Review: The first thing I am going to say is, that the length of the blurb was crazy. After reading it, I pretty much knew what it was totally about. Then there is the problems that the book had with certain words misused and simple errors that should have been caught in beta read.

Arri has had a rough life, hell that is being nice about it. Abused from not only his parents but pack mates. His alpha does not a damn thing with it, until he shifts for the first time. The alpha banished the omega male wolf. Wolves need pack, but Arri has no clue what to do. Then he applied for a position that he knew he could do, and it leads him straight into another pack. A pack where the alpha is his mate.

Dryden doesn’t have a clue that his new assistant is a wolf shifter let alone his mate, until the sexy man shifts in front of him. Then he realizes that his little mate is an omega. There are many dangers out there, and one of them is close to home.

Ok, I had several issues with this book. The major one was when the beta has to sleep with Arri to produce milk. I am sorry but that was totally not needed in the book and was quite stupid. It is cheating even if the other parties are ok with it. I know it was to help, but still in my mind it is the same thing. Brought the story down quite a bit. The guilt the beta had was not needed also. I was actually liking the story till I got to that part. What a shame to add something that was not needed into a story.

Other than that it had issues that were so simple I could not believe, the author, the beta and the editor missed them so easily. There was no guess work with the story, you knew what was going to happen before it happened. There was no shock, no surprise, no guesswork involved in it. Plus you make a omega look extremely weak, then give him so awesome powers just didn’t work for me. How did the old pack not know any of this is beyond me. Then there is the fact that they screwed anything that walked, had kids out of matings and then threw in a mate or two. Just unbelievable to even look at. Plus the omega isn’t just an omega, he is a fae omega and then that is all there is. That was not needed at all either, unless the author was to explain just a bit more about them.

I am sorry but this story was just off. Now I am not saying this is a bad story, because lets face it, I did enjoy the story quite a bit. It has great potential but it needs to be re-worked on and then re-released a second time. There were parts I really liked and others that I didn’t. I do hope that the next book has been better thought out and written with more ease. And please, less is needed on the blurb.

Review: Adam seems to go back in time after driving through a tunnel. It was intriguing seeing how Adam dealt with life without the amenities he was used to. Rafe for his part was sexy yet determined. Adam has a lot to deal with when it becomes apparent that he’s to become something more than what he thought he would ever be.

Evil Mages, a shifter/wizard and a group of people willing to do anything for the right person to save a species from the bidding of an evil mage. I absolutely loved it from the picturesque scenery to the battle scenes and everything in between.

Twists and turns abound in this exciting beginning to an amazing series. I am highly looking forward to reading more about Rafe and his group as well as Adam and his.

Fantastic story and highly recommended.

Review: I loved this story of Orin trying to do what is right and Milo demanding to stay by his side when Glendon banishes him from the pack for what he did to Jake. Milo was a sweet, timid fox shifter saved from the vampire blood farm by Orin.

He’s also Orin’s mate. Along with the struggle still between Fergus and Parker and the two disappearing after vampires attack while they are out made for an interesting story.

Good read.

Blurb: Once in a blue moon, opposites find they’re a perfect match.

Nick Perry is tired of helping people with their marriages, so when a spot opens up to work with teens at Camp H.O.W.L., he jumps at it. He doesn’t expect to fall in lust with the dreamy new camp doctor, Drew Welch. But Drew is human, and Nick has seen secrets ruin too many relationships to think a human/werewolf romance can go anywhere.

Happy-go-lucky Drew may not sprout claws, but he’s been part of the were community all his life. He has no trouble fitting in at the camp – except for Nick’s stubborn refusal to acknowledge the growing attraction between them and his ridiculous stance on dating humans.

Fate intervenes when one of Drew’s private-practice patients threatens his life. Will the close call help Nick see a connection like theirs isn’t something of which to let go?

Review: Under a Blue Moon is the second book in Bru Baker’s Camp H.O.W.L series for Dreamspun Beyond. To be perfectly honest, I remember that I’ve read the first three books in the series when they came out, but when it came to the audio all I could remember was the basic premise of the series and that I enjoyed the books. Regardless, I’m always keen to rediscover books in audio form as I feel I get details that I missed in reading and often a wonderful narrator makes the audio better than reading the book. This is a series that I recommend listening to (or reading) in order, because while they are mostly standalone books, there are a number of references to previous instalments that may be tricky for the more detail orientated people.

The book was narrated by the always wonderful Dorian Bane. I love the tone he brings to the books he performs and really has a way of getting the characters just right. His deep, husky voice is one that I find absolutely perfect for paranormal/shape shifter romances. Under a Blue Moon was no exception.

The series surrounds the lives of the doctors/counselors who work at Camp H.O.W.L as they do the work they love, protecting the young wolflings who are going through their first and very traumatic shift in a summer camp type of setting and somehow finding love while undoubtedly fighting the mating bonds that are forming almost every step of the way.

Under a Blue Moon starts with Nick, a counsellor who wants to get out of private practice and kids going through the Turn. Then there is Drew. He is a medical doctor – a human raised by his human mother and wolf stepfather, surrounded by his three wolf step brothers. The guys meet each other on the way to camp and things get hot and heavy – and at this point they don’t even realize that they are travelling to the same place, let alone going to be work colleagues. I don’t want to go into things too much, I don’t want to completely spoil the plot, but Nick finds it hard to reconcile that he has a mate bond with a human, and that being human doesn’t mean that Drew can’t survive life with wolves.

As I said earlier, a common theme in both book 1 and 2 is that at least one of the men in the romantic pair tries his best to ignore the mate bond and push away his prospective mate. I find that trope a little frustrating at times, but in my opinion, it worked well for this story. Meanwhile, I loved Drew and his family. Drew is a wonderfully relatable character – fearless and smart as a whip.
If you loved the first book or shape shifter romances, you’ll no doubt love this.

Review: Dara is closing ranks on Amos and his mates as he takes out those he sees as weak and unfit. He recruits others for his nefarious plans. I really enjoyed the history about who Bairr and his crew were but I was disappointed that their telling of why they had a connection to the Trawley’s and Collier’s was cut short.

Quite a few battles take place as a lot happens to different members of Hartlands pack as a result of rescuing and or protecting others. Those who were once enemies become allies when they are attacked and hurt. I love the way the series is going so far. The tense situations, action, sarcastic comments, and love all combine to make for a fantastic addition.

I am looking forward to reading more and seeing what happens next in this exciting series.

Darby Sellers has always wanted to find his mate. Unfortunately, the summer games did not pan out for him. Overhearing the conversation about going to the winter games, Darby decides to hitch a ride, dragging his best friend, Jayden Donovan, along.

Councilman Camden Krill was just learning about the abominations Troy was creating to take over as ruler of their world. While waiting to meet with Eagan and his friends he receives a call from a man with the most musical voice Krill had ever heard. While making their way to the mating game grounds, Eagan’s men had been attacked, some were taken hostage, and the rest were dispersed into the Siberian lands.

Being the special shifter he was, Krill had little to fear. However, this night he feared a lot. He feared that those taken would be killed, or worse. He feared those left out in the freezing lands would perish. His biggest fear was that the little lady bug shifter with the lyrical voice would die before he ever got the chance to meet him in person and discover if fate had finally shined on him and brought him his true mate.

Review: Each book in The Mating Game On Ice collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is a branch off of The Mating Game series, so I would suggest reading those first.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two sexy men involved. I absolutely love how this author put together a story that draws you in but keeps your attention through out the whole story. This is one of those types of stories that you just can’t read once. It is exciting, adventure packed, danger filled and that is just a few fun points to this story. The guys are well rounded and fully engaging. I actually got a kick out of finding out what paranormal two of the guys were, bugs…

Darby has a gut feeling that he will find his mate, in Russia. He was going to go no matter what, but thankfully his best friend decided to go with him. The problem is the cold and bugs do not go together. So they hide in their paranormal form and hitch a ride on Ian. Might drive Ian nuts, trying to figure out the voices.

Then danger strikes, and they need to help the others. It leads him to his mate, a mate that just so happens to be a councilman. Krill is a very old shifter whose shifting side is unique. He knows just from a call who his mate is. Now all he has to do is to rescue him and the others. Going to be an interesting run.

When I started reading this, I felt behind because I had not known it was a branch off of another series. So I am going to go read those books once more, and you guessed it get a second reading of this book. It is that much fun. I can not wait to get my hands on the next book.

But then his one escape from reality—watching his favorite gamer—turns into the ride of his life.

Review: Each book in the Hounds of Hell collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Trojan has gone through hell and back. He is one of the save souls brought to the school. He is one hell of a gamer and is popular through YouTuber, but he won’t leave his room. He has scars from a time when he was in highschool that left him afraid of those bigger then he is. He just doesn’t want anyone to stare at his scars, and he has them on the outside as well as inside. Then he finds out he is mated to a hellhound, not what he was expecting nor wanting.

Jackson is calmer then most hellhounds but he is still a hellhound. When he finds out that one of his swimmers was his mate, it leads him to seek him out. A gammer that he had a crush on. The problem is he was just a bit to frisky for the scared man. He is going to need a lesson on slowing down.

There is something about the way that Flynn tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their love ones with their entire lives.

I love the paranormal tone and the little bit of twists that come with it. I had never really thought about a story that not only has angels in it but hellhounds also. When one thinks hellhound, they think evil and death. Now granted they were originally from hell and they can kill who they think need to die, these guys are different. Now even though there is a bit of angst with each character, which at times can drive a reader nuts, there is very little danger. My only issue with these stories is they seem to follow the same path in writing. There is nothing that sets them back to being unique in the story.

Other than that I had a blast reading this story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

Review: Simon and Vic are back in this thrilling addition to the series as a storm threatens the town there are suspicious murders happening. I loved how the past came to light in the investigation and both pirates and the revolutionary war era both came up.

Simon for his part tries to communicate with the spirits to find out what is going on and ends up meeting a very vengeful spirit hell bent on destruction. This story was well written and had me on the edge of my seat. I loved everything about the book.

(Brotherhood of Ormarr 04)
by

Michele Notaro & Sammi Cee

Malachite~

I have a wonderful life. I have no room to complain; between my brothers and their new mates, this is the most alive our home has felt since my parents died. Unfortunately, all of them being mated is making me miserable. When it was just the four of us, it was us against the world. Now they’re paired up and it’s only me and my dragon, Kesia. Until I happen to walk into the Overlord’s Lair and I see him: Quentin. Mine. Mate. As much as I want to win him over without telling him I’m a dragon rider and we’re mates—which I know he’d love—I’m not sure I can. The minute I’m around him I act like an idiot.

Quentin~

Every time the goofy guy walks into my store, he brightens my day, and I look forward to his daily visits. There’s just something about him that draws me to him, to the point he leaves me pining after him the moment he’s gone. But the thing is, I can tell he’s hiding something, and my wild imagination is coming up with the craziest explanations of the secrets he’s keeping. Maybe he’s a vampire that’s come to whisk me away—ridiculous, right? But a guy can dream. And I’ve definitely been dreaming of that big, muscular man wrapping me in his arms at night.

Malachite is the final book in The Brotherhood of Ormarr series. While each book focuses on a different couple, the overall story arc concludes in this installment. For maximum enjoyment, we suggest reading in order. Malachite is a m/m romance, and is recommended for adults 18 years and older.
