Blurb: What would you do if you rode into a mountain tunnel in North Carolina and then rode out into a different world? Adam Stephens is about to find out…
Adam Stephens is a man with a mission. It has been three years since they chopped that malignant brain tumor out of his head, and he is off on a solo motorcycle camping trip through the Appalachian Mountains.
When he rides into the Pine Mountain Tunnel in North Carolina and rides out into another realm—a realm that comes complete with a big sexy grizzly bear shifter, mages, and an evil sorcerer—he isn’t sure he isn’t lying in the tunnel after crashing his bike. Can such a world exist? Or is he dreaming? If he is dreaming…it sure is realistic.
Along the way, there will be some major hurdles to surpass including no indoor plumbing…and no coffee. A man needs some basic luxuries, correct?
Review: Adam seems to go back in time after driving through a tunnel. It was intriguing seeing how Adam dealt with life without the amenities he was used to. Rafe for his part was sexy yet determined. Adam has a lot to deal with when it becomes apparent that he’s to become something more than what he thought he would ever be.
Evil Mages, a shifter/wizard and a group of people willing to do anything for the right person to save a species from the bidding of an evil mage. I absolutely loved it from the picturesque scenery to the battle scenes and everything in between.
Twists and turns abound in this exciting beginning to an amazing series. I am highly looking forward to reading more about Rafe and his group as well as Adam and his.

Blurb: Trojan Reed likes his life. He’s a popular YouTuber, safe at the school, and doesn’t have to interact with the hellhounds—who terrify him. He gets food delivered so people aren’t staring at his scars when he leaves. It wasn’t what he expected after escaping years of abuse on his own only to be “rescued,” but he’s content.
Jackson Magnus regularly complains he’s the only one not having sex, but it was never about the physical urges rather the desire to finally find his mate. He’s longed and prayed for one since he was young, and it constantly feels like everyone is finding their other half except him. But then his one escape from reality—watching his favorite gamer—turns into the ride of his life.
After a bit of chasing his tail, he finds where his mate is and goes just to visit him, a quick peek. Everything goes too far too fast, and two people see the same events in different ways. What will it take to bring their game of love to happiness?
Review: Each book in the Hounds of Hell collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Trojan has gone through hell and back. He is one of the save souls brought to the school. He is one hell of a gamer and is popular through YouTuber, but he won’t leave his room. He has scars from a time when he was in highschool that left him afraid of those bigger then he is. He just doesn’t want anyone to stare at his scars, and he has them on the outside as well as inside. Then he finds out he is mated to a hellhound, not what he was expecting nor wanting.
Jackson is calmer then most hellhounds but he is still a hellhound. When he finds out that one of his swimmers was his mate, it leads him to seek him out. A gammer that he had a crush on. The problem is he was just a bit to frisky for the scared man. He is going to need a lesson on slowing down.
There is something about the way that Flynn tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their love ones with their entire lives.
I love the paranormal tone and the little bit of twists that come with it. I had never really thought about a story that not only has angels in it but hellhounds also. When one thinks hellhound, they think evil and death. Now granted they were originally from hell and they can kill who they think need to die, these guys are different. Now even though there is a bit of angst with each character, which at times can drive a reader nuts, there is very little danger. My only issue with these stories is they seem to follow the same path in writing. There is nothing that sets them back to being unique in the story.
Other than that I had a blast reading this story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

Blurb: Hugh Macfayden has a hard time connecting with people. Not his litter, but others, and no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t seem to click. His mate was supposed to be different, the one person who would immediately get him and he’d want to be with forever.
Daniel Craigen wants a life of peace. After growing up with parents who make most demons seem mellow, he needs a stress free life to heal. He won’t get that being a saved soul, but he does his best to make it as close to a reality as possible. So when one of the Macfaydens introduces himself as his mate, he’s a bit worried, but agrees to go on a date.
But when the dates probably qualify for some of the worst in history, Daniel is at his wit’s end. A Hail Mary play goes wrong, and huge misunderstanding happens. Can Hugh figure out a way to make things right and have a real chance with his mate, or is there no way for their emotions to connect?
Review: Each book in the Hounds of Hell collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
I came across this author when she used another name and loved her unique stories. It is a fascinating world to live in. I love how in this series, hounds of hell are actually the good guys in this story. One would think that they only do evil works, but this shows a different side to the coin so to speak. It is a world where parents who are nearly evil or are just plain evil, sell the soul of their unborn child for what ever they want. Then the hounds realized with the angel’s help that the souls they were to take were in fact blessed souls.
It is a very entertaining story with action packed adventure stuck in, plus you add in hot sex and confused hounds, and you get a blast to read. Her stories are tight and written with a gift, that you can’t help but fall in love with each one of her characters. Not only that but most of her characters have had a hard time in the past or were abused by those who were suppose to love them. The hounds get the ones that are perfect for them and soften the way they normally are.
Daniel’s parents turned out to be pure evil. They abused him and caused him so much stress that he was constantly in pain. He is one of the sweetest souls I have seen so far. Always a smile and a kind gesture to those around him. He is about to find out that his mate is just as golden as he is and is a goof in many ways.
Hugh is a hound that has a heart of gold. He doesn’t really connect with many around him and doesn’t look at a person as if they were just playthings. He is in fact not that interested in the sexual aspect as well, but that changes when he finds his mate. It just takes him a bit longer then most.
I really enjoyed this story more then the others. It felt like a new direction had been taken in the writing that made it stand out even more for me. I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next story.

A Vampire’s Redemption
(The Inquisition Trilogy 02)
by
Casey Wolfe
Marcus was likely dead, killed by the Inquisition, or so it was believed. Then the vampire was found, broken beyond words, in an isolated prison fortress. Marcus had never expected to see daylight again, let alone be rescued by his mate. Now he worries he’ll drag Caleb into his darkness.
Caleb was the one who pulled Marcus out of his prison cell, and he’s determined to drag him from the nightmares of his mind as well. After all, that’s what mates are for, and Caleb had lost hope at finding his. And if he can help destroy the entire Inquisition? Well, all the better.
Dealing with Marcus’s physical and mental healing from his trauma is difficult enough, but Inquisition holdouts are causing chaos everywhere, and sinister plots are rampant. Marcus and Caleb have no choice but to fight back. It’s a good thing they are not alone.

Blurb: Shane Dunn has double the worries of the other saved souls… Like his son is Nephilim too. Of course a demon so evil would target any child of those he’d already made deals for. And the problems he’s had since coming to the school of people assuming he sold his son’s soul has caused him and Norberto to shy away from others and drama.
And mating would bring drama, but still, Shane has always hoped that his mate was a Hellhound once he learned about them. Dreaming of the love some of the others have.
Colton Sethos is an impatient, loud guy every day of the week, but he likes munchkins. They’re cute, and teaching them martial arts soothes some of the hurt he endured taking souls to Hell. Never would he have thought his mate was one of the parents of his new karate class.
Things start off great, but when Norberto starts acting out and Shane picks his son over Colton, is there really a chance for them to be together forever?

Shane was a save soul just like his son. They were both Nephilim and evil wanted them both. When they were first saved and brought to the school everyone wanted to throw blame on Shane, saying he sold his son but that wasn’t the truth. So he kept his son and himself away from the others. That is until one of the hellhounds figures out he is his mate.
Colton is a loud mouth hell hound who wants what he wants right then and now. But he loved teaching the kids. Finding out that one of his student’s father is his mate sends him into a sight to see. But the kid is just a bit jealous of his father and Colton. Going to need to be calm, cool and collected now.

It has been sixteen months since Princess Esofi arrived in Ieflaria, and eight since her marriage to Crown Princess Adale. The princesses have a peaceful life together, preparing to become co-regents and raising their baby dragon, Carinth.
Their peace is shattered when Esofi’s mother, Queen Gaelle of Rhodia, arrives in Birsgen. She has heard about Carinth and believes that she deserves custody of him due to her greater devotion to Talcia, Goddess of Magic.
Adale and Esofi have no intention of giving up their son, but Gaelle is impossible to reason with—and there’s no telling what lengths she’ll go to in order to get what she wants.
Blurb: Unwilling to be his mates dirty little secret any longer, Sutton walks away, telling Casimir he’s done.
Casimir refuses to believe that Sutton could just leave him like that and thinks Sut only needs a few days to cool off. However when reality sets in Casimir realizes he has made a terrible mistake, when Sutton refuses to talk to him or even look in his direction.
When Sutton goes out on a rescue call to a local mine there is a cave in which leaves Sutton trapped with four other men in desperate need of medical attention. Casimir practically goes insane trying to get his man out alive. When the threat of losing Sutton for good hits Casimir, he promises not only to himself but to his mate, that he will do whatever he has to do to make things up to Sutton and win him back. He can only hope that if Sutton survives, that he will be willing to give Casimir one more chance, because the alternative is just too devastating to consider.
Review: Each book in the Eternal Flames Maddox collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is connected to Eternal Flame as well as a couple others.
Casimir lost his wife and his parents to the war along time ago. In fact they had though that the dragons and phoenix’s. He thought it was just his luck to loose all he loved. When they found out that several survived including his brother he was jolted in surprise. Then to find out that his wife had left him with two sons, he was terrified. Then to find out he had a mate, he just thought he would loose them all, so he kept his distance. Then Sut is trapped in a cave in and well he let his heart rule.
Sut had given his heart to Cas but feared that it was all a dream. To be his dirty little secret, well to hell with that, Sut was giving up. Then when the world tilted and he was stuck in a cave, well the voice of his mate kept him sane. However fear still came forward not knowing what to expect from Cas.
First off this was probably the best book out of the whole series and that was saying something, cause this series rocked. I was reading and got to the point of Cas singing, and went and put on the song. So imagine the story going around in your head while the song is playing just made the story stand out even more. I felt for Sut and was glad that Casimir got his head out of his ass, but damn the ending was funny as hell. Who knew fate had a twisted sense of humor.
I had a blast reading this and can guarantee that it is one of those types of stories that will be read many times over. I can’t wait to read the next book. I would definitely recommend this book and the others connected to it.
Blurb: Emperor Chrysander Draconis rules not only the dragons but the entire Council of Sorcery and Shifters. From the moment Fate selected him, he has devoted himself to ensuring his people thrive and prosper. His life revolves around duty; nothing stands in the way of his dedication to his job. One of the most prominent issues on Chrysander’s plate is the lack of hybrid drakelings that have survived the road from man to beast. When he receives word that one such rare soul is living in an obscure tribe, he races to help.
Ellery of the Fen-Lynthi elves is different from the rest of his people. He does not understand why his ears are shorter, why he stands taller than the others. Then his mother explains why the other children mock him and call him a mongrel: his father, a dragon, abandoned her the moment he learned of Ellery’s impending birth. With his mother’s often-fragile mental state, Ellery does not know if he can trust her words, but they are all he has. He spends his days ostracized, doing what he can to improve his lot.
Chrysander is overjoyed to find his mate among the Fen-Lynthi, but when it is confirmed that Ellery is half dragon, he is terrified Ellery will be ripped apart by the beast inside him. Regardless, Chrysander proceeds with their matebond ceremony, though he delays the event, believing duty demands they bypass elven tradition. This troubles Ellery, and he wonders if moving forward is what Chrysander truly wants. Their schedules present them with little opportunity to spend time together, which gives him further cause for worry. If that isn’t enough, Ellery is apprehensive over his new role as emperor. Chrysander and Ellery must confront their fears and learn to face the world as a united and loving front. In doing so, not only will they be able to defy the impossible, but they will change the world.
Review: I loved this story. Chrysander finally gets his story and meets his mate Ellery. However he his duties get in the way of their mating but Ellery just takes it in stride. These two needed to talk to another. They only seemed to catch snatches of time with each other in between meetings, shopping, etc. I really felt for Ellery but Ellery soon finds a best friend and a champion in Tiri, Zane’s mate.
I have to admit to Tiri stealing my heart in this book. I was incensed at the way his chieftain treated his people. I do hope they can save those left behind. Tiri was smart, stubborn, sarcastic and generally a happy person. I really loved how the author wove the story around these couples with all the twists and turns that were revealed the story flowed off the page. I really enjoyed the tension, the mystery and suspense that revolved around the group for one thing or another.
I have to admit to not caring for Wesley in this addition. I think he let his job go to his head and assumed everyone would just do what he said. I especially didn’t care for the things he said about Ellery or Tiri. But, I have all ideas he is about to find out what happens when you mess with dragons mates if the plan he devised at the end of the book follows through.
This series just keeps getting better and better with each new book. I am in awe of how well the story is told and the characters that are involved with each new thrilling read. My favorite series to date.

The Life Siphon 01
by
Kathryn Sommerlot
A magical energy drain is siphoning life from the land and leaving a twisted, decaying wasteland in its wake.
Safely isolated in his forest home, Tatsu wants nothing to do with the drain or the other citizens in the kingdom of Chayd. The only people he cares about are his childhood friend and her strangely prophetic sister, but there’s no avoiding the threat once Tatsu is arrested and taken to the capital. The Queen of Chayd offers Tatsu his freedom—but only in exchange for sneaking into the neighboring kingdom of Runon and stealing whatever is powering the siphon.
Ravenous trees and corrupted predators lie between Tatsu’s team and their prize, but the drain’s destruction is nothing compared to Runon’s high mages, determined to protect their weapon. As the truth of the siphon’s power reveals itself, Tatsu faces an impossible question: how much is he willing to sacrifice to save one man’s life?
Blurb: For more than five thousand years, Prometheus has been chained in the underworld. Every day, an eagle tears out his liver. Every night, he heals. When Hermes releases him in a gambit to save himself from his father’s wrath, Prometheus must adjust to a world that’s forgotten him. Hunted by the twins, Artemis and Apollo, he finds help in an unexpected place.
Julian Bell is a vampire lost. He left his Louisiana home in 1936 and hasn’t settled since. Ten years ago he followed his best friend to New York, but the country they came to wasn’t the America he left. After losing his friend, he found himself unmoored in a strange land. As he nears his hundredth birthday, he’s realizing how truly alone he is.
When Prometheus and Julian’s paths cross one fateful night, they find in each other a safe path through the shadows.
PRISONER OF SHADOWS IS THE SECOND BOOK IN A SERIES, BUT CAN BE READ AS A STAND ALONE NOVEL.
Review: I enjoyed the mix of mythology and vampires plus the way the vampires were connected to the deities. That was ingenious. It was interesting to see how Prometheus deals with and adjusts to a world he has not been in a very long time. When Julian and Prometheus meet after Julian saves him the two hit it off.
I loved that Julian wanted to protect Prometheus from any harm. I always find it fascinating to see how a character is going to react when h suddenly is put in situations he has never been in before. It was a joy to see Prometheus come into his own as he traverses this new world with Julian by his side.
I loved reading about the different deities as the story progressed. Cerebus was a delight and not the frightful beast that is portrayed in movies.I simply loved everything about this story.

Sisters Kisare and Belili uproot an ancient box in their owner’s orchard and find a miracle inside: a fifth godfruit in a society that knows only four. It is punishable by death for non-nobles to eat godfruit, so the sisters hide the discovery and plot to escape servitude for good. With the power represented in the box, they could live as nobles themselves.
But Kisare finds her new freedom more difficult than she imagined, and Belili has many secrets she strives to keep hidden. With the help of a people slowly losing their culture and technology to the powerful nobles, the sisters lead an infiltration of the highest levels of noble society.
While Kisare finds she cares for the captured leader of the people helping them, Belili comes to love her noble suitor’s guard—a fierce woman with a similar past to her own. In the end, the fifth godfruit may bring harmony to the world, but the sisters’ only hope of succeeding lies in deciphering ancient mythologies surrounding the gods’ original plan for their people.
Blurb: When a body drops from the ceiling, Sabien knows that things at his old coven are worse than he thought and they need to figure out what’s going on before more people die. He doesn’t have time to deal with mating issues right now. That is until Helio decides to place himself in danger. Now Jael and Sabien must learn to work together as mates and soldiers because if they don’t Helio could die.
Review:Each Book in the Kaliss collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters I would recommend reading them in sequential order. This story is connected to the Eternal Flames and the Eternal Flames Maddox series.
Jael and Sabien are mates which should be celebrated however Sabien won’t even acknowledge it. However Sabien has his reasons for putting it all on hold. That is until Helio shows up and Jael sees the reaction and reacts. The little dragon finds an old friend and all hell breaks loose when Helio goes to all links to find the rest of them. It puts him in danger and his mates are going to do all they can to keep him safe. When a dead body drops from the ceiling it places many questions coming, but the surprise will shock them all.
Fascinating as always and so damn entertaining. I love how new characters for futures series keeps showing up and promising a good time. Action packed, excitement overload, danger filled and lets not forget some very hot sexy times are just a bit of what you get in this story. The characters are charming, feisty and I love reading their story. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over. I would definitely recommend this book.
Blurb: When Vincent sold himself to a vampire, he did not expect to become the slave of Maddox Caine. Now struggling to accept the feelings of passion he’s grown toward his master, he’s agreed to follow Maddox into a war he never knew existed. This is what he’s been waiting for: to fight, to avenge, and to win. But what happens when another vampire threatens to put Vincent’s heart, not just his loyalties, to the test?
Emory Hudson was never meant to live past childhood. His uncle managed to save his life at every turn, but now Emory finds himself alone, on the desert, with an enemy claiming to be his ally. They both seek the one thing that can be fatal to a First Born vampire. Paired with this unexpected accomplice, Emory scours the Wastelands in search of the poisonous flower. No matter what the sacrifice, he will kill the Governor of Sanctuary Hope and save his uncle. It’s the least he can do.
In this depraved and desolate world, can Vincent learn to see that there is more to vampires than an insatiable lust for blood? And will Emory free his uncle before the war divides them forever?
WARNING: This world is a treacherous place. Creatures have evolved into unforeseen habitats, and beyond the elusive Sanctuary Cities, human survivors have been reduced to nothing more than bloodthirsty maniacs. It is not for the faint-hearted and due to the extreme level of high heat, it is for mature audiences only. This series will only get darker and better.
Review: I love all types of characters but I believe I have found a character I absolutely despise as a MC and that is Maddox. There is no redemption for this vampire in my eyes. My heart is breaking that Vincent seems to have Stockholm syndrome where Maddox is concerned and believes he must endure Maddox treatment as a way to save his people. Enough about Maddox lets move on.
There is Cerebus, who I am on the fence about as I do not know enough about to say one way or another whether I like him or not. Emory meets Nick but is wary of him and I do not blame him with everything he has been through. There is a war brewing on the horizon and things are being planned as allies are being made.
I do like this series but Maddox is a bit much for me. I do not like him whatsoever. I cannot imagine him having any feelings for anyone other than his own wants and needs. I was hoping he would change in this story but alas he has not.
I am curious as to what the war will bring and who all will be involved in the battle if it comes to that.
Blurb: Artemas, known as the academic son of Poseidon, spent much of his time trying to work out how the Fates decided who was to be mated to whom. With the fall of his brothers, his father, and others in their close circle, he was worried he’d be next in line and the last thing he wanted or needed was a mate. But his uncle Zeus pulled him away from his studies with a special project for him – the retrieval of a book from an auction. A very special book by all accounts; the only known written record from the god Silvanus, one of the originals who hadn’t been heard from for decades. Unable to resist a good book mystery, Artemas agrees to leave Poseidon’s library long enough to bid on it.
Silvanus had spent fifty years in deep despair over what was happening to the world. He’d been alone since the beginning of time, and when his depression reached breaking point, he pleads with the Fates to remove him from the tapestry of life. Telling him it was impossible, the Fates agreed to a promise instead. Silvanus would find his mate and the love his heart hoped for. Seeking to regain his book, after it’d been sold at an auction, Silvanus lands in a hotel room, meeting his fated promise face-to-face. Unfortunately, their first meeting was not the romantic event Silvanus had hoped for.
It’s soon clear Artemas’s emotional baggage wasn’t the only threat to their possible mating. A meddling god is on the loose, and when Odin and Loki are ruled out as possible suspects, only one other god comes to mind. Throw in the fact that Thor was due to give birth any minute, and Artemas and Silvanus have to work together in more ways than one. Will Silvanus ever get the time to heal the pain in Artemas’s heart, or will the meddling god take everything they have and more?
Review: Each book in The Gods Made Me Do It collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is connected to the Cloverleah Pack.
Artemas is the son of Poseidon and Throth although he wishes most times he wasn’t. Throth basically dropped him off at Poseidon’s and never looked back. Which wouldn’t have been so bad had Poseidon wanted anything to do with him. Over a thousand years have past and Poseidon was getting better at it, now that he had the twin cuties. However even as time has past his pain was still there. So when he goes to bid on a book by a quite older god, a god that was thought of as being gone, imagine his look when Silvanus shows up.
Silvanus is basically older than life itself and has finally been given the gift of a mate. A mate that has much pain in his heart and doesn’t believe that what they could have would be possible. It is going to take some patience and luck to get through. However someone is out to either get the book or his mate. The threat is real they just have to figure it out.
I have always loved this author’s work and this book didn’t let me down. Action packed with enough excitement to keep me smiling for hours. It is perfect for that day you just need a pick me up. I wasn’t to surprised about who was behind it all but you might be. The characters were quite quirky and definitely hot, although Artemas was a bit off in my minds. However with his past life I can see why. I think I got a big kick out of him the most. Silvanus just seem to go with the flow.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to see what the next story has going on. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.

Arnaka Skytree grew up believing she was chosen to bring new magic to the world. As the heir to the cult of druids responsible for keeping their floating palace habitable for the wealthy aristocracy, she’s expected to wield her power as those before her did: by culling the souls of peasant women.
But when Arnaka learns more about the source of her magic, and that her best friend’s soul will be harvested, she embarks on a journey to end the barbarous practice and to restore a long-forgotten harmonious system of magic practiced by the original druids. Along the way, she discovers she’s not the only girl chosen to restore balance to their world—many others have powerful magic inside, and with them, she will tear the floating palace from the sky so everyone can live in the sun—out of the shadow of the eclipse.
Warning: Graphic violence, internalized misogyny, family abuse
Blurb: High Arcanist Delaney D’Vaire is the world’s only dark wizard, something that has alienated him from his people since birth. Orphaned as a child, he is shuffled around until the Prism Wizard sees his potential, steps in, and enrolls him in school. Though he never truly feels like he belongs, Delaney excels. Graduating at sixteen, he applies to a unique sanctuary, and his life forever changes when he is accepted. Delaney has the family he’s always wanted; surrounded by love and support, he’s grown into a young man, giving everything to help the people who still scorn him, though he continues to doubt himself. All he needs now is his mate, but Delaney is skeptical that even Fate could come up with his perfect match.
Vampyr Lord Grigori Volkov is the genius of his family. Numbers line up in his head, and he loses sight of the world around him. At fourteen, young Grigori creates a nearly synthetic version of blood to sustain his people, saving countless lives. Content to remain out of the spotlight, his involvement is kept from the general public. Since then, Grigori has spent most of his time alone in his lab, learning all he can and pushing his limits. At twenty-six, Grigori is content with his solitude and doesn’t believe Fate has him in her sights.
When the High Arcanist and the Vampyr Lord appear at the same event, they are stunned to find that Fate indeed has a plan for them. Reeling from their discovery, the mates set upon the task of getting to know each other. It does not take them long to find common ground, but as Delaney and Grigori build their life together, old foes will test them and their entire family. The path Fate has laid out for them is not simple, but they must be strong enough to trust in each other and stand together rather than alone to learn what it truly means to become D’Vaire.
Review: In this addition to the D’Vaire series Delaney is front and center as he meets quirky, scientist vampire Lord Grigori. I loved Grigori and his absentmindedness. It was so cute when he panicked after missing their first date by accident. These two were a great match for the other. Delaney’s familiar was a riot with what he did to Grigori while he was sleeping.
Though the majority of the book surrounds Delaney and Grigori many other things are happening as well. We finally get a resolution to Latarain and her evil grandfather once and for all not to mention shadowwalking and a few other things that happen along the way.
This is a fantastic series as each new character that is introduced seems to fit the D’vaire family perfectly and further the series into deeper depths. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next. I am curious why the wife of Duff’s brother was not prosecuted for what she did, after all she did travel to the United States in an attempt to kidnap Delaney so she should have been brought back to stand trial. Surely the sentinels or reverent knights could have picked up on her magic signature or what have you but that’s my opinion.

Blurb: Baxter Kenny is the owner of Maddox’s only hotel. When strange and unexplainable things start happening, Baxter starts to believe his hotel may be haunted. Then one night the fire alarm goes off and Baxter rushes through the halls, making sure all his guest are evacuating. Just as he is about to leave as well, he finds a sweet little girl hiding in the lobby. When Baxter talks to her, trying to get her outside and to safety, he is shocked when Laurie explains that a “ghost” rescued her from her room and left her there to wait for Baxter.
Dallas, the Maddox Arson Investigator is called onto the scene at the Maddox Hotel. When he meets the gorgeous man who owns the hotel, Dallas is shocked to find out the little human is his mate.
As the two work together to find out who started the fire, suddenly little Laurie goes missing. After watching the surveillance footage from around the hotel, they, along with Nick, the fire chief are shocked to see that Baxter may be on track with his ghost theory.
Miles is a lonely soul who ran from his home, distressed over the shame he brought on his family because of who he is. After a long search he believes he has found the right place for him when he comes across the Maddox Hotel, but when the little girl Laurie is threatened to be taken away, Miles steps in to save her.
When Miles is finally discovered, he is shocked to find that it is not only his mate that has found him but that he has two. The sweet hotel owner, Baxter, who he has been admiring from afar since his arrival, along with the hot Fireman, dragon shifter, Dallas.
When the smoke clears and the people of Maddox discover that Laurie may be part of a larger crime ring, the three join forces to do everything they can to hold onto the little girl who has stolen their hearts, and at the same time learn to come together as a mated tri.
Review:Each Book in the Eternal Flames Maddox collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters I would recommend reading them in sequential order. This story is connected to the Eternal Flames and the Kaliss series.
Lounge rearranged, pool cleaned, towel’s used, food missing and cooked food when no one is around might just be the sign of the perfect guest. However this unexpected guest also started a fire by accident and he was unseen. However Miles managed to save a little girl from the fire, although he was the one that had started that fire, by accident of course. Miles was a Siren who ran away from home because he couldn’t hold a tune, but there are many surprises to come to him real soon.
Baxter was a sweet hotel owner who loved to help people. He just couldn’t figure out who was doing the surprising things around the hotel when no one was around and even the camera’s didn’t catch him. When a fire starts and he finds a cutie pie who says the white man saved her and told her to watch for Baxter, he is starting to think that his hotel might just be haunted.
Dallas is the fire investigator who is the lucky man to deal with the hotel fire, but even luckier because he has found his mate. When they find out about Miles, lets just say three is definitely not a crowd for these sexy men. However there is something major about the little girl that might just lead them to a larger problem.
Entertaining, exciting, full of action and danger but lets not forget some hot sexy times. You don’t just get two sexy men but three. This is one of those stories that will be read many times over and never forgotten. I am always on the lookout for these books and have always enjoyed the characters that are involved. I especially love when I get to see some of my favorite characters showing up. As always my attention was caught from the moment I started reading and kept all the way to the end. Not a thing was missing from it and that is a plus.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this book and can guarantee that you will enjoy it. Now I am off to read it again.
