The Cellar
(Opposites 02.5)
by
T.M. Smith
It’s time to learn the truth about what happened that day in The Cellar.Taryn and Thanos are the formidable Ambassadors of House Orion. Taryn was born into power, bred from birth to lead the people of Greece along with his sister Theresa, Thanos was never a part of his mother’s plan. The son of a fisherman was not a suitable match for the son of Greece as far as their mother was concerned, but Taryn always takes what he wants.
The Cellar is the story of how these two men met and fell in love, and what lengths Taryn went to, to ensure he kept his man. This novella also contains a more detailed accounting of what happened the night Raven and Tanis went for a walk on the beach, and the adult version of Mistletoe and Mayhem that was initially released as a free short through goodreads.
The Cellar is the second novella in the Opposites series, the series should be read in order.
** Warning, Opposites is an Adult Dystopian majorly M/M series that contains explicit sexual content and relationships between gay, straight and lesbian couples. However, The Cellar is strictly a M/M novella **

Gabriel’s City
(A Tale of Fables and Fortunes 01)
by
Laylah Hunter
For spoiled young aristocrat Colin Harwood, the port city of Casmile is a buffet of easy pleasures. But when he steps into a pub brawl to help a dangerously outnumbered young man, he is drawn into the seedy underbelly of the city the young man calls home.
Gabriel is a cutpurse and a knife for hire, practically an urban legend. His vision of Casmile is touched by a strange combination of faith and madness, driven by fairytale logic and a capacity for love that he often must suppress to survive. He’s always worked alone, but when a dashing dragon who calls himself Colin saves him in a bar fight, he pulls Colin into his world.
Gabriel’s city is nothing like the refined, socialite existence that bored Colin senseless. Colin finds adventure and excitement there—and maybe even love. But with his layers of finery stripped away, nothing remains to protect him from poverty or danger—except Gabriel. So he must choose: go back to the civilized young man he once was, or fly free as Gabriel’s dragon.

Aiya and Sawyer have fought hard to be together in a world where Opposite relationships are generally forbidden. Yet, they are still forced to keep their relationship a secret while they are outside the walls of House Gaeland.
Everyone assumes that the only threat lies outside their walls, the group of rebels led by Cillian. But something is happening within House Gaeland, something that hasn’t happened since GWI. The Library
(an Opposites series Novella)
by
T.M. Smith
Three gay couples run amuck in this short story where clothing, beds, even four walls are all optional!Want to know what happened that night in the library?
Cirian and Rian had a fight in the library and Rian ends up naked on the desk, on his back, at Cirian’s mercy.
Want to know how far things went with ice cream?
A romantic evening by the fire feeding his husband ice cream leads to a lot more than heavy petting for Aiyan and Kaden.
Want to know what was going on when those birds fled?
Travelling hundreds of miles, battling the rebels and then travelling back to House Gaeland will take it out of you. But when Tanis wants something, he takes it. Raven is about to be bent over a tree!
A Note from the Author: I’ve taken three scenes from Opposites that were cut short and elaborated on the shenanigans that ensued. I also focused more in the beginning on the relationship between Cirian and Rian, to give readers a chance to know them and their inner workings better.
**Warning, The Library is a novella set in the same world as Opposites. It’s an adult dystopian M/M novella that includes consenting and explicit sexual relationships between gay couples**

Opposites 01
by
T.M. Smith
In the year 2081 our planet survived global warming of an apocalyptic scale. When the dust settled and the water receded Dr. Anthony Smith, one of only a few hundred survivors of GWI, started society anew. Having come to the conclusion that injudicious breeding played a huge role in the destruction of Earth as we knew it in the twenty first century, he worked closely with other survivors to isolate the Dionysus gene. This gene has the ability to manipulate human DNA to ensure that all male children be born gay, and all female children be born lesbians. A new society is born.In the year 2300 Dr. Smith’s descendants are ushering in the twenty fourth century having maintained control of the government that still rules society. Twins Aiya and Aiyan are preparing to meet their matches and take control of House Gaeland, the current ruling House. But not everything is as it seems.
Love is Love.. it knows no gender and doesn’t conform to restrictions and boundaries. Aiyan has found his soul mate in Kaden, the prince of House Devi that he is matched with and eventually marries. But when the person Aiya falls in love with tests the boundaries put in place after GWI, all hell breaks loose. And in the midst of one secret unraveling, another will emerge. There is a growing anomaly that threatens to destroy over two hundred years of progression. This anomaly is known as Opposites.
*WARNING* Opposites is a majorly M/M New Adult novel that contains explicit sexual content and relationships between gay, lesbian and straight couples.

Blurb: Poppy lives in hell. His only bright spot is his friend Marcus. If he saves Marcus, Poppy knows he will have done one good thing in his life–then he has to go back to hell.
Dean Stone is an assassin without remorse. He’s also damn sure he has stepped into a crazy world. His friend is mated to a shape-shifting cat, his other friends are missing, and the agency he works for is a mess.
When Dean goes to get Marcus, he finds Poppy–sweet, innocent, and sexy. He clings to Dean like a second skin. Dean doesn’t have the heart to deny him, even when taking care of Poppy turns into a full-time, and dangerous, job.
Review:This story is part of a series and I recommend it be read in order. Poppy has lived a life of hell. Even knowing he could be hurt, Poppy tries to save his friend Marcus and Marcus’s friends from a deadly trap. Not knowing that one of the men he tries to save will change his life forever.
Dean is set to find his friend Marcus and is astounded when a badly abused little guy saves them from ambush. Poppy clings to him and Dean responds and they are both shocked at the outcome. But, they still have to save Marcus and they discover far more than they originally thought.
Finally, after a two-year wait we get a sequel to The Cat’s Meow. Yes, I know it was a long time, but this was well worth the wait. So for those of you who haven’t got a mind like mine (which is like a steel trap) you might want to re-read The Cat’s Meow, just to remind yourself who the players are.
Dean was an assassin for a Government branch just called The Agency. But when Gage mates with the King of the cat shifters, they all decide to give up that life to protect Noah. When they go to retrieve Marcus they discover it’s a trap. When they are approached by Poppy, Dean becomes Poppy’s protector and then much more.
Poppy has been a slave for as long as he can remember. He will do anything to help his friend Marcus and when he is taken back to the pride, he wants Dean to be his new master and they both get more than they bargained for.
This is a wonderful little novel that has a great storyline, which will interest you. Poppy is a very submissive character that has been badly abused. He is also a character that has a great twist to his story. Dean is a very strong character, but not an aggressive dominate. He will reluctantly take on the role that Poppy needs though.
There’s a great planned out storyline unfolding, with what looks like Government secrets about to spill out and the characters are left wondering just who they can trust.
I was really happy with how this story played out with both Poppy and Dean making a great impression. Poppy with his wide-eyed innocence and Dean with his reluctant compassionate dominance. Both characters have to find their feet in their relationship, but rather than continue to enforce domination, Dean tries to ease Poppy out of his slave mind-set.
The sex between them is very hot and I liked how there wasn’t sex on every page.. I really enjoyed how involved both Noah and Gage were in this story, but it was very clear they were just supporting characters and blended well into the background when needed.
I am recommending this to those who love slightly different shifters, rescues, secrets, dark dealings and connecting the dots, compassionate men, hot soldiers, hot sex and a very good ending that left me hoping that it won’t be another two years for the next book 😉
P.S. Note to editor not impressed that Braden’s name changed to Brandon on pages 108 and 109.
