Blurb: Hunting ghosts and finding more than they bargained for.

Blaine Franks is a member of the paranormal research group the Supernatural Explorers. When the group loses their techie to a cross-country move, newly graduated Flynn Huntington gets the job.

Flynn fits in with the guys right off the bat, but when it comes to him and Blaine, it’s more than just getting along.

Things heat up between Blaine and Flynn as they explore their first haunted building, an abandoned hospital, together. Their relationship isn’t all that progresses, though, and soon it seems that an odd bite on Blaine’s neck has become much more.

Hitchhiking ghosts, a tragic love story forgotten by time, and the mystery of room 204 round out a romance where the things that go bump in the night are real.

Review: I don’t think I have a concrete impression of author Sean Michael. I love the writing style, but it all comes down to the plot line itself and substance of the story as to if I finish and enjoy a book. In general, I find his books enjoyable, but I can’t say that I love every one of them.

The Supers is about a group of ghost busters, looking to make their big break. It’s a pretty cool concept that was executed great in both writing and in Kenneth Obi’s narration. In fact, Obi is becoming of one my favorite MM narrators lately. I like his tone and the subtle nuances Obi brings, particularly to a MM paranormal book which doesn’t have a set “alpha”. The characters are ordinary guys and as such Obi gives these guys the right voice and tone. In short, everything just works.

The book follows Blaine loves being a part of the group. Hard times on the family farm means that he had to put on hold his plans of moving away to help his parents. His parents are overly impressed by his second job, but they don’t make a fuss. It is basically Blaine’s unwinding time. He just happens to chase after ghosts and trying to capture them on audio or camera. After losing their usual tech person who monitors cameras, recordings, etc. their group manager hires Flynn, who is a newly graduated sound technician. Flynn fits in, as the blurb says, but he especially hits it off with Blaine.

These guys are very sweet and great chemistry together. An underlying story, as hinted in the blurb about the mystery of room 204, really adds to their budding relationship. In my opinion, the mystery of room 204 is THE highlight of this story.

This book is great for anyone who loves watching those ghost hunter type of shows. I love the underlying story which emerges at the end; it really added a certain spice that was both sad and perfect. Like when I read the book, I’m super excited to find out what the rest of the series has in store.

Review: Forged in Fire is the second book of Ari Mackay’s paranormal mystery series, Asheville Arcana from Dreamspun Beyond. I was really looking forward to reading this as I had been surprised at how much I had loved the first book in the series and got invested in two of the minor characters, one of which is the MC of this book.

If you haven’t read the first book in the series, you need to read it before starting this one or else there will be a lot of confusion. Although a different couple is at the center of the plot the actual mystery of the first book is carried over as more strange information from the paranormal council of the Asheville area indicates continued danger for the paranormal citizens of the area. There is danger in the shape of rogue and possessed shifters and a council so stuck in their ways that they can’t see that they should help their citizens to the point of being suspicious.

At the front of everything is turned werewolf Harlan and the young mage Whimsy. Whimsy’s best friends, the half-elf Arden (MC from book one) and brooding vampire Julian, as well as Arden’s born-werewolf mate, Eli are right there along for the ride. They want the best for Whimsy, but they do worry about him. After all, always one to want to help, Whimsy promises he will do what he can to help turned-werewolf Harlan control his wolf. Ever since he was turned by a werewolf possessed by a demon two centuries ago, Harlan’s shifts have been painful, and he finds it near impossible to control the beast inside him. Whimsy knows if he gets it right, he can use his powers to help Harlan. Funny thing happens along the way though, because Harlan and Whimsy are mates.

This is a fun and action-packed book. Anyone who loved book one will be more than satisfied, although probably like me, now anxiously awaiting to see his grumpy, antisocial Julian can find a mate and a HEA in the near future.

Review: Each book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is branched off to several other series, so you might want to check those out also.

Just a sweet little story to rock your world. Vince wanted to plan the perfect Christmas gift for his mate. He just had not expected to get hurt before hand, but thanks to his friends and pack mates things might look up. He has the best wolf shifter mate and a darling little boy, and things are going perfect for the vampire. Frankie is going to love it.

Now this shows you how the perfect secret is wanted. I got a kick out of this story and was glad to see the tough vampire and cute shifter in it. I also loved to see the little boys reaction as well. Perfect story to warm up the winter cold. I had a lot of fun with it and would definitely read it again and again.

Review: Each book in the Assassin’s Loyalty collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This is a branch off of the Lost Shifter series and Wayne County Wolves.

Stephani is one hell of an author. Her stories have amazing depth to them and the characters are drool worthy. The worlds she creates are one that I would love to live in. They just grab your attention and keep it there till the very end. She also gives you characters that have strength but not just physical. Some of her characters have been through hell and deserve the ending they get.

Tomin is a tiger shifter and an assassin. He is also one of the youngest so he has to deal with the leaders driving him nuts. He thinks that he is not worth anything but always ready to crack a joke. However his past always keeps stuck in his head. And now it looks like his past might be coming back to get him.

Remus is a sugar glider and a twin. He learned early on how to block certain things from his brother and one of them was the way he had been treated by their family. Or I should say one certain family member who wanted to teach them to be assassin’s. He feels like certain parts have been beaten out of him, and his emotions are one of them.

You put these two together and things are going to get real interesting. Now all they have to do is to stop the danger coming for Tomin and to get their hearts to realize that they are perfect for each other.

I think Tomin is one of the best characters that I have read for this particular series. There is just something about him, that even though he is an assassin he still has a big heart. He was taken down but got himself right back up. I enjoyed reading this book and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. Way to go Stephani, another hit with me.

Blurb: The Blackwood Pack saga continues…

This is part of an on-going series and reading the previous titles is advised. Readers of the past books will enjoy meeting old friends once more as the pack does what it does best ̶ caring for each other.

Slate, one of the last Dire Wolves, has carved out a life which suits him fine—plenty of traveling to exotic locations and an abundance of one night stands to handle his needs. While he’s happy for his brother, who has found his Fated Mate, Slate isn’t interested in finding his—at least not for a long time. That is, until his body betrays him. Seeking his mother’s help—who is an Oracle—Slate pays a visit to the Blackwood Pack where he finds the Fates have once again, messed with his life.

Dakota, the chef for the Blackwood Pack, fell in love with cooking as a young child and ultimately the kitchen became a place of refuge for him. Suffering with a ‘curse’ through much of his childhood, he relied heavily on his mother’s help to deal with it. After the massacre of his mother and siblings by their greedy uncle, Dakota barely survives, but finally forges a life for himself, content to stay home and take care of the people he loves.

A long-hidden secret, rejection of a mate, acceptance of rare gifts, and a brutal kidnapping are just some of the obstacles Dakota and Slate must battle together to save their relationship. As the pack rallies around them, both must learn to trust the other before they can find the happiness that the Fates have ordained for them…

Shorty’s Review: 💖💖💖💖💖 4 3/4 Hearts

Slate finds that fate is once again interfering in his life as he is sent toward his mate. Dakota, a chef of the Blackwood pack, has a lifetime of worry tagging along for the ride as he carves out a new life for himself after surviving the massacre by his uncle.

I loved these two characters. They fought, they loved, they conquered. Such an amazing ride to witness as these two struggle to make it through what life has thrown their way to achieve happiness with the other.

I have enjoyed the entire series so far. Adventurous, mysterious, and romance plus a slew of other genres thrown into the mix to make for an interesting series.

Great read.

Lisa’s Review: 💖💖💖💖 3.5 Hearts

Slate loves to travel and help other packs. He is one of the last dire wolves and has a destiny to finish in a way. He wants his mate and knows that one of the gifts given to him is for his mate to become pregnant. However he doesn’t want one right off the bat or so he thinks. When he finds his mate on a visit home. The gods give many gifts and he is about to be surprised.

Dakota is an empath and the worst is the fear and pain of others. His gift is more of a curse to him. His father is one of the evils of the world and he felt it all. The hate that he had for his family and the fact that he just loved to cause pain in his sons. When he figures out who his mate is, he panics. He knows Slate doesn’t want one but he can’t stay hidden forever.

I had a few issues with the story that made me want to just give up on the story. The jump from one character to the next drove me nuts and the fact that the author reiterated certain parts over and over was a bit overdone. There were certain words used for pecs and sex that made me think a teen was writing the story. The word tits for pecs made the stupid come out. It made me think the author was wishing for females then the guys in the story. There was just more information in the story than was needed and it made me want to put the book down. It made the story feel like the author just threw it in to make the book longer and it didn’t do it any justice. You could have the danger that showed up in there without the need to float back and forth in the story. It took away from the characters in the end. I was glad that the guys got their happy ending but the way the story was told made me want to pitch the whole series.

The world that the author created was amazing but the way the story was told not so much. Information overload is what I think of. I will admit that this story is not one of those that will be read more than once and that was a let down. The story would have been a five if it had not had to much added in to make word count. I am sorry but for right now this story is not what it should have been or where it should have been at.

Review: Each book in the Men of Might collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Clint and his brothers go in and rescue those who need help. Many years ago their mother and father worked for a lab that did research and experiments on those who volunteered. The only way it didn’t happen is if the women were pregnant. The scientist had no clue what would happen to an unborn child. However there was one scientist that didn’t believe in all that, he wanted to know what happens. So Clint’s parents ran, except his father didn’t make it. So rescuing a child also leads him to his mate.

Bobby is a detective who just wants the truth. He sees something wrong and he checks it out. To bad this time it gets him into trouble. Being held hostage and then getting saved, leads him to some pretty amazing surprises. One is he has a mate, a mate that turns into a jaguar. Now if they can all survive the trouble coming, well you will have to read this story. There is also a very nice surprise for our guys.

I started reading romance when I was twelve and fell in love with the magic of a written story. I have always been fascinated by the worlds that were created. I came across m/m romance just a few years ago and I have found that I prefer them over any other book. Every once in awhile you find an author that just gets the story right. Stormy has been one of my favorite authors for quite sometime and is one that I automatically purchase as soon as they come out. So when I found out about this book, I knew that I had to grab it. The stories she creates is fascinating and very tempting for me. The characters are fully developed and seem to just have this extra zest about them that makes them even hotter.

There is a serious tone to it but there is some humor to be found within. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could possibly want in a story and so much more. I had a lot of fun with it and would definitely recommend it. I can’t wait till the next story comes out.

Review: The Wolf’s Man Friday is book 2 in Julia Talbot’s Nose to Tail Inc. series. If you’re like me and haven’t read book 1, it is fine to dive right into book 2 without any problems whatsoever. Although, honestly, after listening to this book and reading the blurb of book 1 I really do want to get my hands on it as soon as I can. The book is super fun, with a good dash of action.

The MCs of this books is Sebastian Zellar and Jaxon Reedis. Sebastian is an artist at heart and run’s his uncle’s textile company. However, his uncle Ron, who basically raised Sebastian from a young age, was attacked and two of his men were killed. Of course, Sebastian can’t let this go and he wants to find out who’s responsible. Knowing this about his nephew, Ron hires protection for Sebastian, not wanting his beloved nephew to get himself killed.

That’s where Jaxon comes in. Jaxon works for Nose and Tails Inc., a staffing agency. Jaxon’s boss knows that he is the best man to keep an Seb for Ron. Jaxon also explains that he was trained as a butler and so working as a PA is an easy role to ease into. Jaxon has to work hard to keep an eye on Seb. And when circumstances bring them closer, tension is added when the guys give into their sexual desires but don’t accept their mating bond straight away.

Both MCs are charismatic and totally charming – even if Sebastian is a grumpy wolf! I particularly liked Jaxon, he’s a bouncy, agile fox who has been hired by Sebastian’s father to be Sebastian’s bodyguard while masquerading as his PA. I also enjoyed the secondary characters as well, particularly Sebastian’s friends, Allan, his partner in crime, and Tyrone, an elk shifter who has known Seb and Allan for years and is now Seb’s driver. The overall plot was good except that I felt it a little slow in some places, but nothing that didn’t bother me too much. This is a great adventure – many fans of shape shifter books will find this one a satisfying read.

Blurb: Long nights lead to intrigue… and infatuation.

Chronically ill with a mysterious condition, Yusuf “Joey” Franke escapes his smothering family and doctors by moving halfway across the country to enroll in Cody College. Not long after arriving on campus, some of his symptoms disappear, only to be replaced by debilitating insomnia. Joey spends his nights wandering the halls of his dormitory and hanging out with gregarious and affable Owen, who works the night shift.

When he suddenly shifts from a sick college kid to a massive Asiatic lion, Joey discovers another side to Cody College—it’s a haven for shifters like himself… and like Owen, a part-time great horned owl. And being a shifter is hereditary, which means his parents have some explaining to do.
When Joey and Owen investigate, they discover more than they bargained for—a family deception, a dangerous enemy with international connections, and a love that might be too new to survive the backlash.

Review: After listening to the audio book of the first installment of j, leigh bailey’s Shifter U series, I decided to get onto the next 2 books quick smart, ‘cos that just how I roll. Anyway, I was really looking forward this because the world of the first book and have subsequently enjoyed the second book in the series. Although this is a series, after reading all three books, I believe that these books can work either as a standalone or reading in order. I just prefer to read things in order.

The Night Owl and the Insomniac has a lot of wonderful elements put together to make a story that is about self-discovery, romance, danger and intrigue. I will admit that I had worked out exactly what was happening (for the most part anyway if not all the finer details) early in the book.

However, that did not take away from how much I enjoyed this story.

Yusuf “Joey” Franke has been suffering from what he was told was a chronic autoimmune disease all his life, though his specialist had never been able to diagnose him. He has been coddled and protected from the world by his well-meaning parents, who you find out are quite worldly in the end, though they still seem to come across as naïve when it comes to their son’s lifelong “illness”.

Leaving Chicago and moving far away to Cody College his symptoms disappear but only to be replaced by insomnia. During these sleepless nights in the dorm he meets Owen, who works night shift at the desk.

Owen is the son of the local shifter doctor and attends college at the suitably nicknamed Shifter U. He is an owl shifter, so understands not everything is as it appears. But he gets quite a shock one day when he comes across his new acquaintance at the dorms, Yusuf, shifting for the first time in his life. Yusuf’s beast is quite different to any big cat Owen has seen and so Owen, Owen’s father and the local grizzly bear Buddy pull together to help Yusuf discover himself. Owen does a lot of the help and support as they dig into Yusuf’s past and he faces the possibility that his parents aren’t his biological parents because he has no idea about shape shifters until he shifts himself.

The best thing that I like about this book is that it combines themes/plot devices I’ve seen in books before but not put together in a wonderfully written story, at least not that I’ve read anyway. The mystery is intriguing, while not too much of a heavy read. It’s a lot of fun and I love the chemistry between the guys. Additionally, like the previous books, I found myself able to relate to the emotions and baggage of both MCs, although both are very different and quite often at cross purposes. I highly recommend reading this book and series to anyone who loves a good shifter tale.

Review: Each book in the Federal Paranormal Agency collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jeremy is a FPA agent and a shifter, he remembers when he found Roman and the shape he was in. Roman had been raped, beaten, and starved. The moment his friend brought him out, Jeremy knew that he had found his mate. He was just afraid to claim the man due to what had happened. He didn’t want to scare or hurt his little mate. However his lizard knew that the man was his mate, and wasn’t letting him out of his sight.

Roman remembered the time of his capture, but that did not mean he was going to let it define him. He wanted his mate to claim him, and if becoming an agent would help to prove he was strong then so be it.

The story is well rounded and fully developed. The characters are charming, fierce and damn sexy. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. I got a big kick out of Jeremy’s animal side, what a cutie, for a very big lizard. This is probably one of my favorite types of series, full of action and excitement, some hot sex and add in the danger and damn if I am not eating it up.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this.

Review: Seth and Jack were cute together. Seth’s plan to meet him doesn’t go as expected but it turns out all right for the to of them. I liked Max’s sense of humor, but the pack dynamic doesn’t feel quite right. I assume that’s because people are still getting used to things.

I’m looking forward to the next book.

Great read with lots of sexy times.

Review: I love reading VL Locey’s books. In fact, I actually got my hands on a couple of these novellas when they first came out, but since I’d never read the first one I never got the full background. In the last couple years I’ve been devouring Locey’s ice hockey based books, so this was a nice change of pace, although I absolutely adore many of her other books.

This collection, An Erie Collection, brings together the first three novellas of the Lake Erie Shifters series, in addition to a new story: An Erie Halloween, An Erie Operetta, An Erie Garden Party and An Erie Uprising.

In An Erie Halloween, cute little skunk shifter Templeton Reed meets wolf shifter Mikel Lupei and the couple fall in love and mate. In An Erie Operetta, Mikel wants his pack to be classy and proposes a night out at the opera. This means suit fittings and all sorts of hijinks. In An Erie Garden Party, spring may have come and melted the snow away, but a new comer to the pack means that everyone is in danger. However, the question is, why is the new comer a danger. That answer leads us to the new novella in the series, An Erie Uprising. The pack manor is now providing shelter to other LGBTQ paranormal creatures. However, not all is good in the paranormal world because their way of life is fast coming undone. Templeton and Mikel have to fight to keep their new pack together as well as somehow battle the outside forces threatening their peace and harmony.

Templeton is the heart of this series, he is sweet and funny. When it comes to having to deal with members of his and his mate’s pack it’s usually pretty damn funny. Because let’s face it, the skunk is feisty and the wolves are grumpy! At the heart of it, these are some cute stories that are a mix of sweetness and some harsh realities which are faced by the shifters of Lake Erie. Mainly, these guys have to deal with homophobia and the fact that to many shifters, same sex relationships are outlawed. When I say cute, I mean it in the fact that these novellas are full of hope and there is a happy ending for the two MCs.

Blurb: Moonmates exist, but getting together is going to be a beast….

When Adrian Rothschild skipped his “werewolf puberty”, he assumed he was, somehow, human.

But he was wrong, and he’s about to go through his Turn with a country between him and his Pack – scared, alone, and eight years late.

Dr. Tate Lewis’ werewolf supremacist father made his Turn miserable, and now Tate works for Camp H.O.W.L. to ease the transition for young werewolves. He isn’t expecting to offer guidance to a grown man – or find his moonmate in Adrian. Tate doesn’t even believe in the legendary bond; after all, his polygamist father claimed five. But it’s clear Adrian needs him, and if Tate can let his guard down, he might discover he needs Adrian, too.

A moonmate is a wolf’s missing piece, and Tate is missing a lot of pieces. But is Adrian up to the challenge?

Review: Camp H.O.W.L is the first book in a series by Bru Baker going by the same name. I didn’t know what to expect. I wasn’t 100% sold by the blurb – I was concerned that this was going to be a fluffy story with not a lot of substance. The one thing that I did look forward to was Dorian Bane’s narration. I really love Bane’s narration and I believe that his husky, deep voice is perfect for alpha shifters. He also has a gift of adding the appropriate level of emotion through the tone of his voice and in this book it really helped me to relate to both MCs.

However, all my worries regarding the book were for nothing. I was immediately pulled into an interesting world of werewolves who struggle with their second puberty where they finally shift into their wolf counterpart on the full moon near their 19th birthday.

Adrian Rothschild is 27, his mother is one of the most powerful wolf alphas in the US and for reasons that were not found out for by shifter doctors he never experienced the Turn at 19. He has since resigned himself to be a human among a pack of wolves. A pack that, despite his family’s position, he doesn’t feel like he belongs to fully. Therefore, he’s happy to be away from his family to work. The problem is, when he takes a holiday far away from his pack and home, Adrian suddenly starts to get the symptoms of the change. Thinking it’s just the flu, Adrian pushes himself until he’s in trouble.

Adrian meets Dr Tate Lewis, a man he feels an inexplicable pull towards. Tate works for Camp H.O.W.L, a sort of hidden camp/school where wolf families send their teens about to make the turn to go through their first change. He’s one of the camp councilors because he doesn’t want other wolflings to go through what he had gone through as the son of an alpha with some perverse beliefs.

When Adrian and Tate meet, it’s assumed that the connection they have is one called a Turn Mate. Turns out that wasn’t quite right, though, because they are moonmates, which is basically a term for soul mate or mate as seen in other paranormal stories. Tate has a lot of baggage from his formative years and therefore is not ready to accept the bond with Adrian.

I will admit, I got a little annoyed at Tate and that was because his angst and brooding was hurting Adrian. I absolutely adored Adrian. I reckon that’s a pretty good indicator of a book. Any fans of shape shifter stories will like this one. Just because this is set in a camp doesn’t mean that there is anything childish about the book. There is not outrageous alpha behavior, a lot of sweetness, a broody psychologist (I think that’s what Tate is?), some excellent chemistry and just a lot of fun.

Review: Each book in the Eternal Flame collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is also connected to Eternal Flame Maddox and Kaliss collections.

Benji is a normal demon who has his best friends, his favorite hellhound who loves him and the best pet in the world. Then it all went to hell when fate decided he was to be the chosen one. Now every single demon except for his best friends wanted to mate him. His friends helped him get to safety. He knew the chosen one got three mates but he hadn’t expected to find them all at once.

Robert is the doctor for the whole town and never seems to get a minute to breathe. He hated humans and especially dragons. To him the dragons took his wife and two babies so he had good reason for hating the dragons, and now he had to obey one. One more call telling him to get his ass to the diner and damn he has found his mates. And hell one of them is a dragon.

Asbuth is gargoyle shifter and pretty much an easy guy to be around. So can you imagine his expression when he walks into the diner. Casius and his brother had lost their parents to the old war and had been pretty much raised in a gypsy tribe. Now they were in a town full of the paranormal with their two best friends, who were human. Then the surprises keep coming.

When I received this book I will admit that I went back to the very first book and started reading them all over again. I am not a fan of stories that have more then three lovers in them so it was not a big hit with me as it should have been. That aside it was pretty entertaining and I laughed my ass off at Benji and Timmy’s animals. The worlds these authors created are exciting and down right hot. I loved the characters and the way they are with each other. I will admit that Timmy will always be my favorite though. Benji comes real close though. With this story you get some hot sexy times, danger, adventure, excitement, entertainment and some sweet loving. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more.

I had a blast reading this and can guarantee that it will be read more than once. I would definitely recommend this and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is branched of to Kontra’s Menagerie, A Paranormal’s Love and so forth.

Ranger is a jackal shifter whose boss is basically evil. To keep his brother and his brother’s mate safe, he must kill and then set up the Wolves of Stone Ridge pack. To be precise, it is their alpha that is to be blamed for killing the council man. To bad he fails or should one say it is good news. It would seem he has found his mate.

Ashton is one of the bird shifters that the pack rescued from Russia. He is the alpha of his little group, but they still answer to Alpha Declan. He goes to give information and ends up finding his mate. A mate that is in trouble.

There is nothing better then a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives.

I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the other’s in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Charlie Richards puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a bit of humor in them that I love. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Review: Each book in the Beyond the Veil collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characers, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I have never really been a fan of books with the fae in them, or should I say where they are the main characters. Galen is to be the King of the Earth Kingdom, once his father steps down. He was to bond with someone of higher standing, but the moment he saw Finc well lets just say there are going to be some pissed off people.

Finc was the result of a highbred noble man and a very poor woman who was not like him. She showed Finc the love that a child needed, but his father took that life away from him. He was brought to the man’s home and now had a stepmother and half brother, neither really cared for him. He thought it would never change, that is until he saw his half-brothers intended mate. Sparks are sure to fly.

It is a tale that has been told over and over, just in different ways. There was nothing really unique to this story, other than the characters themselves. However it is a very entertaining tale that will have you smiling. I liked the touch of danger near the end of the story, but for me it was a fun little book. All in all, I hate to admit that this story really didn’t do anything for me. It didn’t catch my attention like it should have, but that is just my opinion for my desires of the book.

The characters however were the part that rocked. Their mixing was a bit strange, but I always liked Finc and Galen, and knew that they had a story to tell. I just wished it called to me a bit more then it did.
