Review: All Kieran wanted was to be the best singer ever. He had been admitted in to Julliard, but was afraid that he would not make it. He had met a senior who had the voice of an angel but the eyes were not. He is about to find himself distracted by the man, a man who is more than what he appears.

This was a very strange story to say the least. I was not really sure if I liked it or not to be truthful. It was a captivating little tale but still just held a bit of a bite. I think right now it would not be for me but if it was made into a full size story I could see this as a top rate story. It just needs that extra kick to it.

However I did enjoy the book and would recommend it.

Review: This is the second book in the Dead Camp series and boy does it pack a punch to the gut.

Eli and Mal infiltrate a death camp in order to free the prisoners from the atrocities taking place within. Eli goes in as a prisoner and gets a firsthand experience of ll the horrible conditions and treatments of said camp. I was so angry on behalf of all those within that suffered.

Mal goes in as a guard and experiences the evil deeds done by the guards and those in charge. I felt Mal’s disgust with the whole situation. I was also worried about Mal as he was a ghost possessing someone else’s body and feared that he would not make it.

As with any story of this magnitude there are mysteries to be solved past enemies to be brought down and above all else trying to keep your sanity in a place where evil rules. It was an epic journey of sorts that was filled with sorrow, horror and survival. The scene that actually made me bawl like a baby was the shower. The injustice and seeming disregard for human life simply because of who they were was almost more than I could take.

The author does a wonderful job in the details and storytelling. I felt as though i was actually there witnessing everything.

I loved this book and am looking forward to the next book in this intense yet fascinating series.

Review: This was a truly fascinating story. Aiden is betrayed by someone he was in love with and made a vessel to summon an ancient demon. His guardian angel Eskandar saves him several times throughout the story to keep the demon from coming into this world through Aiden.

The ritual and fight scenes were greatly detailed to the point where I felt as though I was there witnessing everything. It broke my heart at the pain Aiden went through as the story progressed. I was cheering Aiden and Eskandar on hoping they could be together as they wanted to be. The love these two felt for one another was strong and sure.

The magic used in this book was at times a little confusing, but it was still a great story.

Loved it.

Review: This is book 8 in the Archangel Chronicles. It is a continuation from the previous book.

As the book starts Danny is still in a coma. The group is still on the hunt for TCC Corp group, who wants to close earth of to paranormal and supernatural beings, no matter who they are. I seriously don’t like the TCC at all. They seem bigoted, hateful, and full of themselves and give humans a bad reputation as not all humans feel the way they do.

The archangels with their allies the archdemons come together to fight off yet another threat. It was a truly horrifying new threat as witches have somehow altered their magic to be stronger yet slightly different. These are people who have been cast out from their covens and are now in cahoots with the evil TCC.

For the most part this book is about regrouping, healing, investigating more into TCC and strategizing the best way to deal with them before they can hurt anyone else or succeed with their plans to cast out all but humans from earth.

I really liked that Samael, Archangel of death and Ahijah, Nehalem, seemed to grow a closer bond. It was sad to think they would never be with anyone because of who they are. The other person I was shocked by was Danny. After coming out of his coma, he leaves everyone behind to go back home. While I understood the reasoning it was still a shock.

Though this book is not action packed it is full of awesome theories and the answers to some of them which amazed me. Also the depths with which the TCC group was willing to go just appalled me to the core. I really hope the archdemons, archangels and all their allies take these evil creatures out once and for all. I did not like the way the book ended abruptly without warning.

So this book will be continued in the next one in the series. All in all it was a great read that kept the reader engaged and entertained.

Review: For a short story of less than 100 pages, this book is action packed. The heartbreaking story of a man just coming into his fame as a controversial artist. At his first big show that is a near sell out a man brutally attacks him blinding him. He loses his eyesight, career, and longtime lover.

In a deep depression, he prays that he would do anything to have his eyesight back. What he thinks is an angel comes to him and he deals to get his sight back, finding himself in a sweet, but scary triangle.

I absolutely loved this story, it was heartbreaking and yet sweet as well. I loved the characters. I couldn’t help but fall for the demon, Tur’el. I would love to read Tur’el and Zethan’s story, hint, hint!

If you like Angels, and Demons, sexy Artist’s, angst, and a beautiful love story then you really must read this!

Review: This book is a continuation of the previous two books. The archangels and archdemons are desperate to stop the holy grail from corrupted any further. They figured out where Naamah is. Now they have to figure out how to stop her. She has spelled the place where she’s at. Everyone is horrified when they learn what the last thing is that corrupt the Holy Grail. Either Lucifer or Saint Michael’s death.

There is more traveling to different places to gather as much information as possible. As well as ensuring protection for those aiding in the fight against Haamah and her evil plans. It was a great plan to have Agrat and Lilith, Haamah’s two sisters, to pretend to side with her and gather information.

There was a lot going on in this book but the saddest things were the angel that helped Haamah and the way she treated her children as well as the souls in purgatory by trying to enslave them for her own purpose. I was glad she didn’t succeed.

The so called deal between Lucifer and God shocked me but it was interesting to think that could happen. Hot sex throughout as well as a surprising couple that I didn’t expect. All in all, it was a great ending.

Review: Semjaza escapes from his eternal prison in the star Aquila. He has several main objectives get his family back, make Gabriel pay for imprisoning him as well as several other archangels for their roles in different things and take back what he believes is rightfully his. Semjaza seemed delusional to me in his thinking. Plus he was cruel to those he commanded. He was not fit to be a leader in my opinion.

Gabriel and Michael seem like the perfect couple. Michael, I didn’t understand why he acts as if he’s embarrassed when someone mentions sex. He’s been around humans for thousands of years surely he’s heard it all by now.

I loved all the details of the different places the archangels traveled. Very beautiful scenery. The archdemons helping the archangels was an interesting surprise. The battle scene between Semjaza and Gabriel was intense. Hot sex scenes throughout.

Wonderfully written story full of drama, mystery, suspense, adventure, and action. I was surprised that instead of being with humans or other beings that some Archangels were coupled with each other. Great read.

Review: The Holy Grail has been stolen and it is imperative that it be found and taken to its rightful place before the entire world unravels. Having very little clues the Archangels begin an investigation and discover that whoever has it can cloak themselves so that not even they can sense them. With the help of the Arch demons, again everyone begins to feel the effects of the grail being stolen.

I really enjoyed reading this book and will warn everyone that ends in a cliffhanger. All the couples do their best to help in these trying times. Michael’s group has an Alpha female, Angelique, that I don’t care for as she belittled one of her pack behind his back and to his face in front of others. She should’ve been helping him not putting him down. She has let the Alpha status go to her head and tries to order even those not in her pack around.

That’s not a good Alpha in my opinion. I hope she is not in the rest of the series.
The fact that whoever took the grail is able to cloak themselves is very troubling. I hope the archangels and arch demons find a solution around it.

Great story with amazing details and filled with mystery, suspense, action, and a lot of drama. Hot sex all throughout.
Great series so far. Can’t wait to read the rest.

Review: Matt has been heartbroken after a terrible breakup with his past lover. Jack didn’t only leave, but chose to humiliate Matt as well. Matt takes solace in the peace and quiet he finds at the lake. He is content to sit, think, and feed a heron that welcomes him each day.
Thomas has been waiting and watching for Matt. He just hopes that when Matt finds out his secret he will be able to accept who and what he is.

I thought this was absolutely beautiful. I found it poetic and magical as well as sexy and emotional. I love the artistic concepts in this story and the sensual but hot mansex.

Description:

On September 1, 2011, TJ Klune wrote, “…it’s not about the ending, it’s about the journey…” in a review of Eric Arvin’s Woke Up in a Strange Place. With those words, two men began a journey of love and invited us to ride along. TJ and Eric have shared so much with us: their wonderful books, their smiles, their humor, their lives, and their inspiring devotion to each other. In December of 2013, their journey took a detour when Eric was taken to the emergency room. He survived the surgery to remove a cavernous hemangioma from his brain stem, but the challenges TJ and Eric face are far from over.

The authors in this anthology donated their talent as a way to support Eric’s continued recovery, to help bring strength to TJ, and to show both of them just how much love surrounds them. Grand Adventures is a diverse range of stories about the journey of love. We’re going on some grand adventures for a great cause. Thank you for joining us.

One hundred percent of the income from this volume goes directly to TJ and Eric.

Grand Adventures - An Unexpected Thing_FBbanner_DSP

John Amory:

Hello everyone! My name is John Amory, and my contribution to the Grand Adventures anthology is titled “An Unexpected Thing.” This short is actually a sequel to a story that Dreamspinner published last June in its Daily Dose compilation called “Protection.” The new story picks up about two years after Jamie and Ben met; both are back from London and traveling the West Coast. Jamie is en route to a shooting competition with Ben in tow, but when their plane is diverted, they are forced to find their own way through the Cascades to Seattle. They, of course, find something else along the way.

I have never met TJ or Eric, but I was struck by their struggle like everyone else. We are all a family of authors and readers in this genre, and it felt like someone in our family had suddenly fallen ill. I wanted to help, especially since TJ’s book Into This River I Drown had such an effect on me. When “Protection” was accepted for publication last year, it was the first book I chose from Dreamspinner’s catalog to read, so that I could get a feel for their audience, their authors, the style of stories they publish, etc. I was blown away by River, which is, in so many ways, a really atypical (but still brilliant) M/M romance. There was so much else going on: grief, redemption, faith, closure, all of these things played into the book’s themes, and they’re all things I think TJ handled beautifully. So I began “An Unexpected Thing” as a sequel to “Protection” that contained a guest appearance by two of TJ’s characters from Roseland, which seemed only appropriate given its ties to River. I eventually re-edited the story to not include TJ’s characters (since, if all the authors did that, it would be taxing on TJ to edit and approve each story), but the essence that those characters brought to the story is still there, as well as some other Easter eggs for fans of TJ’s book. “An Unexpected Thing” is about finding love in places you never thought you would, with people you never thought you would. That’s something I got from Into This River I Drown and from TJ and Eric’s personal story, and I think it’s something universal: keep your eyes and heart open, because The One might be someone you’d never notice otherwise.

Sophie Bonaste:

1. Tell us about your contribution to the anthology.

My short story is called When Friendship Becomes More.

Here’s the official blurb, because it explains the story better than I could:

Despite their differences, Jamie and Roy are not only college roommates, but best friends. What Jamie doesn’t know is that Roy has had a crush on him for years. When Jamie realizes Roy’s feelings during a camping trip with friends, the attraction will either prove mutual, or it will tear their friendship apart.

I’m really proud of this short story. It has moments that will make you laugh and cry. I hope everyone out there loves it as much as I do.

2. What is your favorite TJ and Eric memory?

Well, I haven’t been lucky enough to meet TJ or Eric in person. But I remember reading the news of TJ’s proposal in October of last year. I was instantly touched by the obvious love between the two men. It may not have been a showy proposal like that Home Depot one that went viral a few months ago, but it was one of the most love-filled proposals I’ve ever seen. And isn’t that what’s really important?

3. Why did you choose to participate in the anthology?

When I heard about the anthology it was a no-brainer. I knew I had to help TJ and Eric in any way I could. And since writing is one of my favorite things to do anyway, it was a win-win.

4. Do you have anything to say to TJ and Eric?

I just wanted to say that you two are both some of the strongest people I’ve ever known. I wish you only the best as you go forward. Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!!!!!

Blurb:Ambriel’s father died in a car wreck, leaving him the man of the house. It’s a heavy responsibility for a teen still in high school.

To make matters worse, Ambriel has a deep, closeted secret that sets him apart from his carefree peers.

When Ambriel finds a kindred soul in his fellow classmate Jack, his difficult life takes a turn for the better.

However, there are dark forces at work in Ambriel’s hometown. Witchcraft and demonology have taken root and demons have been summoned, their infernal presence a threat to everyone. Ambriel is particularly vulnerable, because he isn’t just an average teen boy.

Ambriel is an angel.

What is holiness? What is goodness? Are they false constructs created by an hypocritical society? Or are they real, powerful virtues deep inside of us, waiting to be unleashed?

Holy is an M/M paranormal romance that explores the concepts of righteousness and wickedness, and seeks to challenge our preconceived notions of what is good and bad, right and wrong. At 6,000 words, this YA micro-novelette is the first entry of the Angels & Demons series.

Review: OH my!  This book had me right from the start! Ambriel is an angel. He is drawn to Jack who is also one but doesn’t know it until Ambriel shows him. They connect instantly and are drawn to each other. Samael is a Demon or a God and is called forth by Jude. Although Jude doesn’t believe it until he, himself is revealed to be a Demon. Just when it’s getting to where we will be told what Jude’s true name is…..the book ends!  So good. Even though I was left hanging…will have to look for another book connected to this 

Blurb:  What’s an angel to do when having the one person he’s ever wanted means giving up his wings for eternity?

Ekenezer has been sent down to Earth for one last mission — to guard hapless klutz Nathan Bradley. He doesn’t know why Nathan is important, only that God has ordained he be watched over. As his “cover”, Ekenezer takes a position as Nathan’s boss, but soon discovers that he harbors more than simply protective feelings for Nathan. Ekenezer has never been attracted to anyone before, never felt lust, and certainly not for another man! But Nathan is a force that Ekenezer simply can’t resist. What’s an angel to do, though, when having the one person he’s ever wanted means giving up his wings for eternity?

Review: This is a quick, short read, which is quite enjoyable because of the fun it pokes at the religious extremists.  The notion of one of God’s heavenly chosen falling in love with a mere mortal -and a man at that should be enough to have all the fundamentalists up in arms.  The theme of the book, however, is quite simply that God knows and loves all of humanity, his creations, regardless of whom they love; and, that he considers each of them worthy of special attention, even the gay man who’s yet to discover the ‘important’ thing he has to do in his life.  The entire story is about learning self-acceptance, how to love, and ultimately that love is the most important thing.  The book references religion without getting preachy and allows the reader, regardless of their faith, to embrace the notion of a higher power and ‘its’ power over humanity.

This is Ekenezer’s story and about his struggle with his feelings and his realization that he’s going to choose to love Nathan regardless of the consequences.  That notion of self-sacrificing love is the key element in the story.  It’s a short, sweet read that will leave you with a smile.

To sum this up – God is love!

Pixie’s Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. The war is over between the Angels and Demons and humanity has to pick up the pieces of a world that was torn to pieces. Michael and Gabriel are reunited but it isn’t all perfect, they can’t help humanity without making the situation worse and Raphael is kidnapped which leads to the discovery that other angels have gone missing. As they launch an investigation into the disappearances, Agrat is kidnapped and her bonded begins to lose himself to grief.

This is a well-written story that combines many relationships and hardships with Michael and Gabriel leading the way. Now that the war has ended and the demon Hell portals are closed humanity can begin to pick up the pieces, the angels and archangels help as much as they can but they have limitations. But problems become worse when Raphael is taken and his power is smothered, which leads to healing throughout the world beginning to fail. The other archangels must work together to discover who is kidnapping the angels and to what end, and Michael is made to face the fact that sometimes love strikes everyone, even those that he finds unacceptable.

There is quite a bit going on in this book with Michael thinking that Raphael’s lover is unsuitable, Gabriel dealing with the loss of his children, Raphael disappearing, Israfel unsure if he is good enough for Raphael, all the angels and archangels wondering how they can help mankind and then the investigation into the kidnapped angels. It is quite a good storyline but you don’t get to feel connected to any one character as it jumps from characters to characters so you don’t get to know them that well, even though you do get interested in the storyline you miss out on the characters.

There are some very romantic moments between various characters and some couples are very sweet together in the brief times that we see them together. The storyline is good and the twist was surprising, our angels are being betrayed by someone who was an ally.

I will recommend this to those who love angels and demons, true love, disgruntled archangels, and interesting storyline and a happy ending.

Thommie’s Review:  After No Quarter comes No Surrender, No Retreat and I find myself even less satisfied this time around. This second book does not pick up where the first ended; it rather skips the entire chunk of a 70-year war. This was perhaps the biggest disappointment I had, the fact that everything we’d been expecting from book one was skipped. All the epic battle between angels and demons vanished. In its stead there was left yet another sappy romance like tale that was poorly executed and made you shake your head constantly with the inconsistency of the plot.

I will go ahead and point out some of the things that made me give this book such a poor rating. Firstly there was Michael again and his impossible portrayal. That character is so unlikable the way he is depicted; it makes me pity the Archangel for the way he is abused in this read. His pettiness, his childish behavior, and not only Michael. All the Archangels are pretty much surreal in their behavior. They caused me a huge headache with their dialogues and nonsense.

The plot was a mood killer. A war was waged and according to the author changed everything, the world, as we know it is over. The very face of the Earth has changed, yet somehow nothing changed at all. While we’re being told of battles with Archangels’’ powers equal if not more than nuclear power, battles that destroyed the Earth as we now know it, while we’re being told of food forages and people trying to get on their feet, while we’re being told of clear water going low, we read about Archangels going to fast food stores, enjoying things they would the same way before a war happened, pulling water bottles for the ether for their consumption at the site of a mudslide where people are getting dysentery from unclean water and many, many more… The contradiction of the plot was just too much.

Moving on the action side and the basic story of this novel, I have to show my displeasure at the core story. Angels and Archangels are being kidnapped and enslaved, but the Archangels seek help from humans… because they could not find what was wrong by themselves… You have no idea how weak they were shown in this book, it drove me nuts. To top it all, this story would not have a happy ending if it were not for an Archdemon helping the Archangels yet again… I just disliked this, period.

As for the bonded pair of this book, I kept on waiting for the moment Shateiel would go in there and cause havoc in revenge for his Agrat’s kidnapping. What I got left me with my jaw hanging with disbelief. Really, this book killed each and every one of its intense parts/scenes with a slow death.

The erotic/romance part suffered as well. The abuse of power had the text suffer for some foreplay and sensuality. The get myself slicked with a thought and drive home was NOT erotic, neither appealing. The intensity one expects from angel-sex is not born out of writing the words “let’s have some Archangel sex.” on the contrary, that is one cheesy phrase I kept on encountering often. Disappointed cannot begin to describe it. Not to mention the bonding ritual that came right after both Michael and Gabriel witnessed how Shateiel bore his separation with Agrat. I don’t know, it’s like these Archangels don’t have a timeless existence… Plus the info-dump was overwhelming.

To end it all I was troubled by the fact that the author kept saying throughout the read that her characters needed a bit of time off as they keep jumping from one tragedy to the other, practically draining their powers, yet she puts them in another similar situation with Semjaza’s escape right after the angel slavery deal. Yes, we are to read about it when the other installment comes out, but the time pace is just insufferable and at the moment, I’m not even slightly intrigued by the cliffhanger.

Overall, I did not like this book.

Review: This series just keeps getting better and better!

Colin has been laying low with his lovers after the last revelation he had from his ex-friend Pete. He seems to be going through more physical changes but doesn’t have Pete to confide in any more. He can’t go to Mikey or Sasha; though Mikey knows part of the problems, he doesn’t know everything. Sasha seems to be pulling away because Colin won’t confide in him. Pete comes, makes Colin return to work on the set, and sends him on yet another mission. This one turns out to not be as easy as Colin thought and he worries about the consequences it will have on his lovers.

There are a couple twists in here and Colin and Mikey start to delve into some BDSM. The sex is hot as usual and I love the new characters that are introduced in this book.

If you like BDSM, voyeurism, Incubus, and demons and lots and lots of hot sex this is for you!

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Tristan, Machidiel (Mac) and Alastor might love each other, but the repercussions from Tristan becoming an incubus is much more far-reaching than any of them thought. Trying to find a way out of Tristan’s bargain isn’t going well and when Tristan needs help during his training, he pulls an innocent into his problems and leads him to danger. With a dream demon playing games with their dreams and an innocent suffering because of Tristan’s choices, Tristan, Mac and Alastor have to face their past to move forward. But, it just might tear them apart.

“God damn you, L.M. Brown. You should be devising torture in Hell.” those were my first thoughts when I finished this book, and they were also my second and third thoughts as well…. My fourth thought was ‘where does she live?’, because I want that third book now! Tristan, Mac and Alastor are moving into a new home, but their happiness is tinged with the awareness of Tristan’s deal with Lawrence. Tristan’s first training session doesn’t go well and the repercussions are far-reaching with their repeated combined lives in the past being revealed and the truth of Alastor’s past being revealed.

This is a great story that will pull you every which way, as you follow the angel, demon and incubus as they try to sort out their problems. Tristan’s actions are what resound throughout this story. Everything he does seems to have devastating consequences. Mac has problems of his own, as Raphael tries to convince him Alastor isn’t worthy of his time. Alastor has his past shown to him, after being plagued by nightmares and the truth of his long forgotten actions affect his relationship. This is definitely a rollercoaster ride, as you cheer for their love and then doubt their actions. At one point, you want to smack the crap out of Tristan, as he walks away from the mess he makes and you pity Alastor, as he still doubts his place in the relationship. We are given insight into others actions and we are given a very surprising twist. We are also left with the big question of just what Tristan, Alastor and Mac are going to do now.

I have to recommend this to those who love angels, demons and incubus getting it on, if you adore conflict and arguments, if you love surprising twists at the last-minute and you love cliffhanger endings that leave you panting for more.

Review:  Short, Sexy, and Steamy… my three favorite colors! Blend that with an Archangel guilty of the sin of Vanity and that makes this a must read story!

God and Archangel have come to the conclusion that fellow AA Gabriel needs to be taught a lesson. Although successful on his missions with the humans, he is quite vain and taken on the attitude that humans are worthless and beneath him. Having been expelled from Heaven until he learns the error of his ways and makes a human fall in love with him, he has concluded that he will be stuck on earth forever. Enter Dr. Josh. Gabriel is instantly attracted to the charismatic doctor and decides he has found his target. He’ll make this eager young man fall in love with him, give up his life, and earn his way back into heaven.

Becoming emotionally and physically attached to Josh wasn’t in the game plan. Even if I did see the ending of this book coming a mile away, the ride there was such fun! As the story progresses and Gabriel grows a conscious you are drawn into this unconventional love story. Tyler wraps it in down to earth issues and struggles and conveys Gabriel’s inexperience with actual feelings magnificently.

Gabriel is presented as perfection, but it is only skin deep. His struggle with the absolutely foreign concept of feelings was the best part of this book for me. Jealously, love, anger, attraction and pure need are not feelings he’s used to, and to see him progress through these different stages of his relationship with Josh are liken to watching a newborn growing up in fast forward.

So, when we come toward the end and Gabriel finally gets what he thinks he wanted all along, is it truly what he wants?

Be warned… there is some extremely hot and definitely steamy M/M… Angel/Human sex gracing the pages of this short story. I give this one 4/5.

Review: Read through this book a thought kept bothering me. How can you mess up such an enticing idea? A Nephilim, a creature born from an Angel and a mortal, an immortal himself existing for thousands of years as a pleasure slave, passing through from master to master until he was kidnapped by a demon who basked and gained power from the nephilim’s sexual pain. Living through nightmares on the Demon’s hands, he finally escapes only to fall from the sky and get saved by a priest. Ever since the contemporary days, he lives hidden in the basement of the Church, his secrets passing from Father to Father each of them choosing the next who will replace them, each of them protecting a half angel in the heart of their Church from mortals and immortals alike, until the day that the last Father does not choose another priest, but a mere human for their nephilim’s protection.

I mean the idea is great, you can explore it in so many ways and get a hell of a story from it or many more. You can’t go wrong with this, or so I thought.

The writing is bad and for me it ruined a perfect chance for a great series. There is the classic telling without showing. There is the multi-head-pop where you know everybody’s thoughts. There is constant repetition of details and facts. We were told over and over again the same facts, for several paragraphs and from different characters. The character’s development was horrible. They were all limited in dimensions, almost flat, their personality lacking and a note of constant whining overcame them, a somewhat petulance that had me not only not care for them but utterly dislike them too.

The fact that there was now “showing” meant that we didn’t get to experience any feelings/emotions between the characters. The Master/slave relationship between them was shot to pieces by numerous factors. The romantic relationship was beyond surreal taking a flare from day one with Faelon blurting out all his sadomasochistic cravings and in the matter of a week the two men went from strangers, to lovers, to declarations of love and a falling apart.

The plot itself was one dimension for me as it focused solely on the sexual games between the pair – games that held no passion, sensuality, eroticism whatsoever. If there was more to the plot it felt dropped there for the sole purpose of making the sex-games going.

The villain’s character, the demon Caymen, was beyond flat. He made one appearance and that was in passing. He actually bumped shoulders with our Hero, Jax, admonished him with a “what it mortal” and vanished. That was all his part in this book, everything else about him we got to learn it from Faelon’s “telling”. I wonder, what is the purpose of a demon chasing a Nephilim, killing bodies that we are told in the very end of the book they are look-alike of said Nephilim, blowing up a church in the middle of the day and then vanishing. Never got that one.

And then we had the sudden guest appearance of Delgorio, Faelon’s real Master, an Ariel Nephilim Prince, who comes to the rescue, and I’m left staring there wonder what the hell did just happen and why would Delgorio show up now and not what Faelon was kidnapped by the demon and viciously tortured for centuries.

Here I go again ranting. I can go on pointing at every single detail gone wrong with this book but that won’t do, it would take me forever. This simply was not ready to get out there in the current state. It’s in dire need of editing, revision, a solid plot and some serious character development before even hitting the shelves. As it is I disliked it and would not recommend it.
