Blurb: Welcome back to the mercenary ship, The Blue Solace:

Leti Ando and Will Hackett are certain about one thing in all the galaxy. They love one another. Now that they are mated, it’s time to meet Hack’s parents and settle into their new home. In a normal courtship, the two would spend time getting to know one another and reveling in their love. Normal isn’t what they get.

Leti struggles to understand the artifact Dr. Morrick left them, but what he’s discovering is unbelievable and completely frightening. If his theories are true, then the entire galaxy is at risk. Meanwhile, he tries to adjust to Charybdis Station, deal with his parents, and worse of all, learn to cook. Luckily he has friends, old and new, to help him.

Hack comes home to Charybdis Station, expecting a break from the hectic adventures of the past few months. What he gets are changes, more responsibilities, and a war with the Concord. He’ll deal with it, though. All he has to do is look around him to understand why it’s time to fight back.

Together, the new couple must learn to stand together, to accept and support one another. Their happiness isn’t the only thing at risk.

Review: Lexi is going to be one hell of a dad, that is if he ever has him. He has adopted, well sort of, a few more people. Him and Will are doing great and they are surrounded by people that love them. They have rescued a scientist who has a very secret artifact that might be more deadly then they first thought.

They have now moved onto battle with the Concords and it sounds like it is going to be far deadlier than they thought. Sebastian is getting closer to his due date and well if you want to know more your going to have to read this book.

Action packed and delicious men are just a bit of what you get in this story. I have got to tell you that this is the second book by this author I have read, and I can guarantee that she will be read more. The characters are just a blessing and I love Leti. He is super fun to hear about and has a heart of gold. His mate is definitely protective of him. Which is needed because Leti’s parents are starting their crap up again.

This is a book that will be read many times over. I can’t put the stories down at all. In fact I am tempted to start on the next book instead of bed time. They are fun to read and I can’t wait to read them. I would definitely recommend this series. You won’t be able to put them down.

Review: Burton is black ops. Basically he is sent to kill for his country. However when he is sent to kill a kid, he is left with different feelings. Feelings he had not expected, seeing as he usually was with women. He was starting to feel things for Ernie and lets just see how far he runs.

Ernie is quite unique. He sees what is happening around him, he sees what is to happen and he can pretty much locate anyone with his thoughts. Oh and lets not forget he can talk to someone with his mind, pretty cool. When Burton comes to kill him but saves his ass, plus lets not forget some sexy hot times, the kid is falling in love.

I can honestly say that if it hadn’t been for the fact that I had just finished book three, this one would have sat in my inbox till eternity ended. The title itself is goofy, but for it to be for two different series is bewildering. This book should have been book three seeing as it has characters in it that should have been seen in that story. It is just off. Also two different series names makes it hard to locate. Second what is with the church reference? Really to call the man you love his church is just about as strange as one can get. Totally throws the whole book off. This is murder, suspense, mystery and some sexy times, and then the author throws in church, totally doesn’t go the way it was wanted I am guessing.

Then there is the way the guys talk, like they have no education. You know they have to have been smart in different ways, but the way they speak is not showing it. Then there is the fact that each characters boyfriend sounds like they have the same difficulties is making cookie cutters normal.

Overall the story would have been a five heart story had the story followed a different pattern than where it went. I actually have come to a final conclusion about this particular series. I felt like the author is pushing religion on her readers. To call someone their church is about as quirky as one can get and lets face it, it made the story drop quite a bit.

Review: Ben’s one night stand turned into more. He is a human with a werewolf mate, and a baby on the way. He is not to sure what he is doing or how to feel but with Shad there, things might just be alright.

Shad is an alpha who has taken a human as a mate, and they are expecting. He has his father calling him more times then he can count plus his mother always asking questions. How can one night change everything.

There were so many mistakes in this story that it just stood out, and not in a good way. Also this story is not really a story but a males pregnancy logbook. There was absolutely no heat between the guys and it drove me nuts. There was just no heat throughout the book and it left me wondering what type of book it truly was. There was nothing special that brought this book to my attention or stood out to me.

I hate to say it but this book was a bit boring and I am not sure I will continue with the rest of the series.

Review: Leti is half Prime and half Wello, which means he is a breeder male. As nasty as his father is to him, he is even more evil then one would expect. He has put Leti’s half sister on the block to be sold to the highest bidder. Thank god he had a friend who would be doing the bidder for him. He was determined to get his best friend, little sister and all of his animals off this blasted planet. They were going to stow away on a ship ran by mercenaries, although I am not sure he knows that part.

Will is getting moodier and moodier as time goes by. One of his crew realizes it just might be a sign that he is going to find his mate. What he finds is his mate, another young man, a baby girl and a large amount of animals in crates on his ship. Lets just say he won’t be getting moody after that.

Damn this was a blast to read, a real big surprise for me. Leti has a way with animals and damn if he just doesn’t seem to collect more family. There is very low angst throughout the story but does have quite a bit of action. Between the two however there is zero angst, well unless you count space walking. This is the first book by this author that I have read and lets just say she is going to become a favorite if she keeps this type of writing up. My attention was caught and damn if I don’t want to go back and read it again.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I had a blast reading it and would definitely recommend it. I can honestly say that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.

Review: This story is a branch off from Stonewall Investigations and I would suggest starting with that series first. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Fox has been out of the military for a while and is working his very first case at the agency. Stonewall Investigations has finally opened in Miami and he is not only one of the best detectives but the head detective. The case involves a pretty nasty drug that kills pretty much half of the users and started in one of his friends clubs. He is determined to find out who is behind it but when he finds out he might just wish he hadn’t. He might just need a bit of help, so lets ask the sexy man coming in for an interview.

Jonah was a brilliant detective for the police force until he was shot in the head. He was left with a few problems that might just end deadly for him. Then there is his bitchy girlfriend who so needs a boot to the ass. He needs a do-over in his life, so the job at Stornewall Investigations might be the best thing for him. That and the sexy as sin detective interviewing him. Now he has a few more questions to ask himself.

As always Max has done a wonderful job giving a great read. I only had a few issues with it. One is the girlfriend but that is obvious and I would like to put my own boot up her butt. But really the story was so focused on the love life, sexuality and hot scenes that it was hard to keep who the guys truly were. I kept getting them mixed up. Also there was the fact that it took away from the mystery itself. I was glad the guys hit it off and fireworks were in the air, but I really chose the story for the mystery and suspense so I felt a little disappointed in that part. Also the fact that the guys pushed themselves but I felt that Fox was a bit to pushy for a new guy to realize he was gay. It just seemed rushed.

Overall it was a great start to a new series and I was glad to see the original detectives show up at the party. I love how this author can give you a serious tone to it but that there is quite a bit of humor running through it. I liked the guys quite a bit and can’t wait to see what will happen in future stories. I do hope for more mystery and suspense though, really want a good juicy story to make a day interesting.

I had a blast reading this book and would definitely recommend it.

Review: Jackson and Ellery are back in the fight. Jackson just can’t seem to stop getting shot, stabbed and well you can imagine. Although this time it might just be worth it to save Ellery. The killer from the past has friends or leaders that want the same reaction as the others. It seems like someone is making killers who have no thought to life. When a young woman is killed in front of her children and another is blamed, it is up to our guys to prove it wrong. It brings some friends into the fight to help.

When Ellery is taken the ones behind it make an even bigger mistake, they take Ace as well. So you have Jackson, Sonny, Ernie and Burton in the mess, but Ellery’s mom as well. The bad guys won’t know what hits them.

The story itself is top notch however the religious aspect in this book was to much. I look for danger, death, sexual heat, excitement but you get that and more. Also the title is what made me not read the book as fast as normally. I didn’t recall the story itself but when I went through my library and saw the title, well I passed it on by. Also the way the guys talk is a bit to much, they don’t come off damaged as well as uneducated which is not the case. But back to the religious parts, it was to much and made the story drop quite a bit in my mind. It almost had me putting the book back down. Plus the boyfriends, Jackson and Sonny come off more damaged then you would expect but Ernie is made to sound the same way. It is like the author has given you one strong and one damaged through out the whole series which is nuts. One is fine but multiple characters with pretty much the same damage is asking too believe to much.

Now the story itself rocked, the danger, suspense, action were pretty much a hit with me. I did like the characters quite a bit but not how they came off. As I said above the title didn’t pull me in but the opposite. It might have been meant to come off catchy but it came off as goofy instead. I am a fan of the plot and characters, however not a fan of the same cooky cutter styles.

Review: Each book in the Honey Haven collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Gus has his heart set on Denver and tries to show it. The problem is Denver pretty much ignores everyone and stays in his room. He knew something was wrong with Denver, but it wasn’t till he found out that not only was Denver a shifter but a bit about his past. When two online friends show up for a ghost hunt, Gus’s isn’t to sure about them. He did invite them but there was something off about them.

These stories crack me up especially when Gus is always speaking about ghosts. Wait for the surprise, it is going to be a scorcher. However these stories don’t flow as well as they should and there is always something missing from them. This one was no different but I can’t put my finger on what it is. Other than that small issue, this story is quite different and very quirky. I got a kick out of them. Although I must admit that the ghosts being thrown in at the last minute was a bit weird. I mean two years and no one has seen them till now just doesn’t flow with me.

I had a blast reading it and look forward to seeing more from this author. I will admit she is a favorite of mine.

Review: Each book in the Abel’s Bloodline collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Derrick had thought his brother’s problems were mental, but then he proved that it was more than that. It had led them straight into the paranormal world and monsters. He had been captured along with a vampire, tortured. It almost got him killed. Now he tried to stay away from that type of life, but his mind kept reminding him of Raphael.

Raphael has found his mate and decided to leave him alone. He had not wanted a mate but he wanted Derrick. He watched him to keep him safe, but one is never safe from the past.

This story has a dark tone to it that I didn’t care for. It is a very unique story that is very entertaining. The only thing is that even though it is a short story it feels like it comes off longer. You get excitement, danger, a new world and some sweet sexy times in this book and quite a bit more.

I will admit that even though I did like it, it is not one of those stories that will get read more than once.

Review: Each book in the Wyoming Shifters: 12 Years Later collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is branched off from Gillham Pack and Whitedell Pride, so I would suggest starting with them.

Leo’s foster son brought him to the pack to live when he had gotten cancer for the second time. Now that he was cancer free, he wanted to start his life over in away. Let his son and his mate have their lives without having to worry about him. He had not expected to find out that he was a mate. Nor the fact that he was over thirty years older than said mate.

Hugo was a single dad of a baby at the age of twenty one. He lived with friends or should I say foster brother and mate, but he wanted a place that would have a bit more room. His parents had not wanted him to keep the baby but they were slowly realizing that was not an option, nor the fact that they thought they were better for the baby. When he found his mate he was happy as hell, but knew it was going to be difficult. Difficult in more ways then one.

This author was one of my favorites and I knew that she would become an automatic buy author. She has not disappointed me in a bit. This series caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. The characters are a blast to read about and their stories are pretty unique.

I had a lot of fun reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story. This is one author whom I would recommend for all her books.

Review: Each book in Council Enforcers collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is the children from Whitedell Pride and Gillham Pack so I would suggest reading those first.

Tristan is one of the shifters who had been rescued from one of the labs twelve years ago. His mate had been killed and he was still hurting. He had never spoken a word of it to his friends or the pack though. He designed his beautiful home and made it his prison. A prison of pain and guilt.

Hudson had lost his mate over twenty-six years ago to a car accident. So he knows how it feels to loose a mate. So when he meets Tristan, he sees the same pain as he had and still has. He just wants to help the man, but doesn’t expect to fall in love with.

Fascinating story that kept my attention throughout the whole book. It has quite a bit of surprises in it for me, lots of action, excitement and so much more in it. The worlds that this author creates is quite entertaining and somewhat mysterious. The characters are fully developed with quite a bit of attitude backing them up.

I enjoyed reading this story and can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. I would definitely recommend it.

Review: When I first came across this story, I didn’t immediately pick it up. It wasn’t until I actually realized that it is a paranormal that I decided to give it a try. I have not read many stories by this author, so I wasn’t real sure what I was going to get. I love paranormal romance stories, but am not a fan of anything sports, so it was going to be an interesting read.

Marc is a cute red panda shifter and a goalie. He is not what I had expected to say the least. I am picturing a very small person but he is in fact taller than I had thought. So I put my son in his place and imagined him playing the game, and remembered a couple of goal shots he had done, and got it. Marc has the hots for a player on another team, and things are heating up pretty fast between them.

Lucas is a jaguar shifter and lets just say he is sexy as hell. He is falling for the goalie of another team and damn things are looking up for them both. Then an injury ends his life on the ice, as a player. If you want to know more, read the book.

Now I will say that it is a very cute story, but also very long winded. The story jumps time from meeting to hooking up. It is a long distance romance I suppose. There is no real spice to the story, just a normal romance. If you didn’t know they were shifters, you would not know it through out the story to much. Half the time I forgot they were, because the story is focused on the ice. It is a straightforward romance with just a bit of kink, nothing making the story standout at all.

The guys had chemistry from the start, but the story did not. It came off as a bit boring and dull to me, don’t get me wrong I still liked it a bit, but wouldn’t read it again. It was drawn out and could have been a bit better had there been more excitement to it. However for now, there is nothing to make me want to read it once more. I am sorry, it is a cute story but just off to me.

Review: Each book in the Allegheny Shifters collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Levi is a cute little badger shifter who is in need of a husband. He has a secret that is somewhat dangerous to him, he is a carrier. His father, the alpha, sets him up with an asshat bear shifter. To bad the man is a jerk, but damn is he sexy. To bad Levi has a bigger attitude and turns the shifter down. This Leads him to a sexy little shifter who is in danger, Seamus. Wow choices are hard.

Dimitri lets his attitude take over and if I was Levi, I would not give him a second chance. But he is determined to change Levi’s mind, but he is surprised to find out that Levi is changing Dimitri’s attitude. Now if they could just figure out who is trying to kill them both. Or should I say the three of them, surprise and I am not talking about Seamus.

Now my first thoughts with carrier was not pregnancy. It was a nice surprise though and I truly enjoyed it. This story is very catchy and kept my attention throughout. The characters are fully developed and sexy as hell. I like how the author uses unique shifters in her stories. The worlds she creates are unique in themselves and quite a blast to live in.

I had a lot of fun reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. Catherine Lieven’s is one of my top favorite authors and I am glad to see that she is still one.

Review: Each book in Wyoming Shifters: 12 Years Later collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is the children from Whitedell Pride, Gillham Pack and Council Enforcers, so I would suggest reading those first.

Luke is one of those kids that was created in a lab and turned into a killer. Having been rescued as a child and raised in the pack. He is now working as a deputy for the police department in Gillham. He doesn’t really have an interest in sex and he is a bit stiff. What he had not expected to find was his mate. A mate that acted like he didn’t want him.

Ned was running away from college. He has someone after him and needs his family. To find his mate should bring him happiness, but he is human. He is also only a young man and doesn’t want to settle down, but mostly it is to protect his family. He should know that Luke can take care of himself.

Most of the time they have their serious tones but there is quite a bit of humor mixed in with them that make them even more fascinating for me. Each story will have danger, excitement, adventure and some hot fun sexy times.

I love how Catherine puts together a book that will draw you in and keep you captivated all the way to the end. Catherine has become one of my favorite authors, and I am glad to see that it will never change. This is one book I would recommend.

Review: Each book in A Loving Nip collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. In fact I would recommend reading the very first series that leads you to this one. Wolves of Stone Ridge is the starter that many different series branched off, so I would start with that one first. There are about five different series, so you will definitely be entertained.

I came across Charlie when she wrote her very first book for the Wolves of Stone Ridge series and never looked back. You will meet a group of alpha that want the love of their mates. They live many centuries and their mates make their lives better and a bit interesting. Most of the time they have their serious tones but there is quite a bit of humor mixed in with them that make them even more fascinating for me. Each story will have danger, excitement, adventure, and a touch of kink to them that will keep your attention the whole time, like it does for me.

Raphael decided to stay at the ranch where his brother made his home at. He couldn’t see what the big deal was, give him a fancy coffee shop anytime. However there was one man on the ranch that might just change his mind. To bad Raphael is not gay.

Kase is one hell of a paranormal who has just found his mate. Now he just has to change the man’s mind. Things are going to get real interesting. I love how Charlie puts together a book that will draw you in and keep you captivated all the way to the end. Charlie has become one of my favorite authors, and I am glad to see that it will never change. This is one book I would recommend.

Review: Each book in Mate of the Tyger Prince collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Derrick and his best friend decide to spend their time after finishing training, getting drunk. To bad their memories are a bit foggy. Derrick is the prince to his world, and is now facing a young man who is pregnant. A man who is a pirate, a pirate that has some big secrets. The trouble is the King states that Derrick must marry Egan, a man he does not remember. The problem was, Derrick was not the one who got him pregnant. Kylar needs to come home soon.

I am afraid that this series is one of those that I couldn’t remember very well. Which is not a good sign for me. The constant going back and forth is troublesome and drove me nuts. The characters are charming but also spunky as hell. I don’t much care for Rhaegar. I think he has more secrets to tell, but he comes off as an ass. The king however needs to be kicked in the butt. He was an ass to his son and didn’t do the book any good. There is adventure, danger, murder, hot sex and well you will just have to read the story for more.

I hate to admit that this series was not one of my favorites. The story is entertaining and I did enjoy it, but the story just doesn’t flow right. It came off as choppy and not well articulated, but that doesn’t say the story is not good. It has some great potential, but so far it just needs a bit more work to it. I will see how the next book turns out to make up my mind though.

Blurb: Arri had been abused and picked on all his life. Born a runt, and then maturing into an omega, he was cast out of his pack. Figuring he’d not find another pack willing to take him in, he struggled to make a life for himself in the human world.

If he didn’t have bad luck, he had no luck at all. Jobs were hard to come by, and he wasn’t able to keep them for long, his omega empathy causing humiliating meltdowns.

He’d been robbed, mugged, and nearly raped too many times to count. Arri’s wolf was fundamentally broken, with no way to emerge, or protect him, finally withdrawing deep within him and remaining silent.

Then, a day came when things changed. Answering yet another employment ad, he was stunned to find the source of the advertisement was a beta wolf, then was shocked further when he was presented before the alpha of the Woodlynn pack. He’d heard rumors about this pack, the alpha considered one of the strongest on the continent.
He believed the rumors after meeting the large male.

Arri’s silent wolf had awakened, whispering to him, calling the alpha, mate, which was ridiculous. Alphas didn’t mate with lowly omegas. Especially male omegas, even though Arri was perfectly capable of giving an alpha pups, or so he’d been told by the old ex-beta he’d befriended. But then again, male omegas were rare, and thought little of, viewed as weak, considered unnatural. So, he would ignore his wolf, do his job, and keep his head down, not causing Alpha Dryden any cause to fire him.

*~*~*~*

Dryden knew there was something different about the assistant his beta, Vann, had brought to him. He was human, yet he smelled of wolf. But not a scent Dryden had ever experienced before. Vann hadn’t seemed to notice, though Dryden suspected his beta was still angry at Dryden insisting on a human assistant.

How could he tell his beta he’d felt an uneasiness in his pack, a danger that he couldn’t put his finger on, and didn’t want to trust any pack-mates to handle his affairs?

As time passed, his instincts that something was wrong within his pack grew, along with the certainty that Arri was not what he seemed.

It was when Dryden was visiting another pack, tremulous negotiations for an alliance in the works, and Arri was attacked, that the truth came out. Dryden’s assistant was an omega wolf. And not just any omega, but a Fae Omega, which would be the reason Dryden hadn’t known.

Omega wolves were rare, and most packs banished them for their weaknesses. But a Fae Omega was unheard of, most believing them myths. The Fae had died out a long time ago, and for an omega wolf to be born with Fae blood was incredible.

But that wasn’t Dryden’s biggest problem. The moment Arri had shifted, Dryden’s wolf went into the blood-mate fever, the need to claim the omega the only thing he was capable of thinking about.

But to claim Arri, Dryden would have to fight the alpha of Arri’s home pack, and he wasn’t sure he could win. And, then there was the unknown threat within his own pack that he still needed to figure out.

Review: The first thing I am going to say is, that the length of the blurb was crazy. After reading it, I pretty much knew what it was totally about. Then there is the problems that the book had with certain words misused and simple errors that should have been caught in beta read.

Arri has had a rough life, hell that is being nice about it. Abused from not only his parents but pack mates. His alpha does not a damn thing with it, until he shifts for the first time. The alpha banished the omega male wolf. Wolves need pack, but Arri has no clue what to do. Then he applied for a position that he knew he could do, and it leads him straight into another pack. A pack where the alpha is his mate.

Dryden doesn’t have a clue that his new assistant is a wolf shifter let alone his mate, until the sexy man shifts in front of him. Then he realizes that his little mate is an omega. There are many dangers out there, and one of them is close to home.

Ok, I had several issues with this book. The major one was when the beta has to sleep with Arri to produce milk. I am sorry but that was totally not needed in the book and was quite stupid. It is cheating even if the other parties are ok with it. I know it was to help, but still in my mind it is the same thing. Brought the story down quite a bit. The guilt the beta had was not needed also. I was actually liking the story till I got to that part. What a shame to add something that was not needed into a story.

Other than that it had issues that were so simple I could not believe, the author, the beta and the editor missed them so easily. There was no guess work with the story, you knew what was going to happen before it happened. There was no shock, no surprise, no guesswork involved in it. Plus you make a omega look extremely weak, then give him so awesome powers just didn’t work for me. How did the old pack not know any of this is beyond me. Then there is the fact that they screwed anything that walked, had kids out of matings and then threw in a mate or two. Just unbelievable to even look at. Plus the omega isn’t just an omega, he is a fae omega and then that is all there is. That was not needed at all either, unless the author was to explain just a bit more about them.

I am sorry but this story was just off. Now I am not saying this is a bad story, because lets face it, I did enjoy the story quite a bit. It has great potential but it needs to be re-worked on and then re-released a second time. There were parts I really liked and others that I didn’t. I do hope that the next book has been better thought out and written with more ease. And please, less is needed on the blurb.

Review: Lucas is one hell of a mystery and horror author, but his communication skills suck. He wants total isolation to write and has a sweet cabin I would love to have. His isolation is disturbed by a sexy man and his daughter. Jamie pretty much puts his car in the ditch, in the middle of nowhere and heads for the light he sees. His daughter is a cutie pie but the man who answers leaves him with questions.

It is a very cute little Christmas story, but I would have dumped Lucas on his head. It had quite a bit in it and that was surprising, since it was such a short story. Fun little read for warming your heart on a cold winter’s day.

I enjoyed reading it, but can’t really see myself doing it more than once though. It was cute but didn’t call to me like it should have.

Review: Each book in the Hounds of Hell collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Trojan has gone through hell and back. He is one of the save souls brought to the school. He is one hell of a gamer and is popular through YouTuber, but he won’t leave his room. He has scars from a time when he was in highschool that left him afraid of those bigger then he is. He just doesn’t want anyone to stare at his scars, and he has them on the outside as well as inside. Then he finds out he is mated to a hellhound, not what he was expecting nor wanting.

Jackson is calmer then most hellhounds but he is still a hellhound. When he finds out that one of his swimmers was his mate, it leads him to seek him out. A gammer that he had a crush on. The problem is he was just a bit to frisky for the scared man. He is going to need a lesson on slowing down.

There is something about the way that Flynn tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their love ones with their entire lives.

I love the paranormal tone and the little bit of twists that come with it. I had never really thought about a story that not only has angels in it but hellhounds also. When one thinks hellhound, they think evil and death. Now granted they were originally from hell and they can kill who they think need to die, these guys are different. Now even though there is a bit of angst with each character, which at times can drive a reader nuts, there is very little danger. My only issue with these stories is they seem to follow the same path in writing. There is nothing that sets them back to being unique in the story.

Other than that I had a blast reading this story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

Review: Each book in the Hounds of Hell collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across this author when she used another name and loved her unique stories. It is a fascinating world to live in. I love how in this series, hounds of hell are actually the good guys in this story. One would think that they only do evil works, but this shows a different side to the coin so to speak. It is a world where parents who are nearly evil or are just plain evil, sell the soul of their unborn child for what ever they want. Then the hounds realized with the angel’s help that the souls they were to take were in fact blessed souls.

It is a very entertaining story with action packed adventure stuck in, plus you add in hot sex and confused hounds, and you get a blast to read. Her stories are tight and written with a gift, that you can’t help but fall in love with each one of her characters. Not only that but most of her characters have had a hard time in the past or were abused by those who were suppose to love them. The hounds get the ones that are perfect for them and soften the way they normally are.

Daniel’s parents turned out to be pure evil. They abused him and caused him so much stress that he was constantly in pain. He is one of the sweetest souls I have seen so far. Always a smile and a kind gesture to those around him. He is about to find out that his mate is just as golden as he is and is a goof in many ways.

Hugh is a hound that has a heart of gold. He doesn’t really connect with many around him and doesn’t look at a person as if they were just playthings. He is in fact not that interested in the sexual aspect as well, but that changes when he finds his mate. It just takes him a bit longer then most.

I really enjoyed this story more then the others. It felt like a new direction had been taken in the writing that made it stand out even more for me. I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next story.

Review: Carter just needed to get away from it all. So he decides to take a nice cruise and ignore everyone. Too bad Sterling steps in and captures his attention. Then he finds out what Sterling truly is, and things take an interesting turn.

I liked the idea of werewolves, even though it is used way too much. The story is unique, but there were several mistakes that I saw in the word usage department. I was all set to actually give this a good rating, till the moment the alpha said he would still screw the omega and women to get them pregnant. That is where the author lost my attention. To me it is still cheating and it is one of my pet peeves.

Also it has a very dark tone to it, which I didn’t much care for. Now I usually give the book a say, and check the next one out to see if it is different. However the mention of sleeping around did it to me, and I am sorry to say but I will not be reading the rest of this series. Mating is sacred and should never deviate, cheating is a no (even if the other doesn’t see it as that), so it would make it nasty in my eyes. Sorry to say but this book was not for me.
