Review: I love Jay and Kyle. They are just perfect for each other. They have been best friends since childhood. Jay was even accepted into Kyle’s family. Until the day Jay finally pulled away completely thinking to protect Kyle and his parents from the horrors of his home life.

But neither man forgot each other. And on the day Jay needs him the most Kyle rescues Jay and takes him back home, forever. Well after Kyle explains everything to Jay. I must say Jay’s minds works in the best ways. His reactions to learning about shifters and mating is funny as hell.

Jay is just a cute, sassy, and sweet bundle. Kyle is strong, loyal, and damn sweet too. Jay let his stepfather ruin his personal view and worth, but Kyle helps him get it back. To Kyle, Jay is nothing less than perfect for him. To Jay, Kyle has been what he has always wanted and loved.

It may be short, but it gives the series a good base to start from. It brings the two main characters together and explains their backgrounds. It gives the reader a good feel for the type of men they are. But it also lets the reader know there is more to come and that Jay and Kyle are still growing into who they will be.

Great little read to open the series with.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Hera and Aries are up to no good once again, with help from Aries’ Phobos. The show once again how cruel and evil they can be in their goal to rule and control everything.

Taurus, the constellation at night, turns out to be a bull shifter during the day. But he is not like people think. He is good-natured and even-tempered, except for his stubbornness. He is a good man, but alone. He does not really interact much with people, except children. He loves helping them and teaching them.

Theseus, is maybe a demigod. Since the nature of his conception is at debate he had two fathers. Because of that is included, but not really part of Olympus. He suffered at the ends of some of the Gods. When he is chosen as part of the twelve he is actually happy about getting a mate and having someone all his own.

My issue with the story is that I was not really drawn into the romance of Theseus and Taurus. The sex was hot, but I was missing something to invest me in their happily ever after. I actually found the supporting characters more interesting than the main characters. They seemed to steal the show more for me.

The writing and pacing was good. But there were also some editing errors, like names in the wrong places and missing words that would throw me out of the story. There was also a scene in the beginning dealing with Aries that just make me feel icky.

All in all, it was a good read, but not my favorite from the series. Although I do look forward to reading more. I really like the concept and the different characters. I want to see what happens next.

Blurb: Jake Taylor was just looking for some fun at the gay bar outside of his tiny ass town. He never expected to see a man who made the world shift beneath his feet.

Morgan Anson is young and good-looking, and just Jake’s type. It’s weird that he feels an immediate jealousy of everyone Morgan dances with. He needs to get the man home, right now, and make him his. Jake just never expected to wake up the following morning next to a wolf.

Morgan didn’t mean to shift. It was an accident, but he was so comfortable and happy next to his mate, that it just sort of happened while he slept.

They can’t stay away from each other for long, however, though Jake knows he should, and even though Morgan is considered a curse on his pack, Jake will have to prove himself to the Alpha if he plans on taking Morgan out of his abusive pack forever.

Review: Marcy Jacks has found her niche in writing and she sticks to it with this new series so far.

Morgan is an Omega and because of his mismatched eyes, he is seen as a curse on his pack. He gets blamed for anything and everything that goes wrong. But, because he is the Alpha’s nephew, they don’t simply kill him or throw him away.

Jake is a local ranch owner, and human. He knows nothing about the paranormal world. But he learns fast when he realizes Morgan is a wolf and his mate. I have to give the man props for not being afraid to stand up for Morgan, even against Alpha wolves. He may not be a wolf, but he sure acts like an Alpha.

I liked these two together. They are really cute and sweet at times. The sex is hot as I expect from this author. But still it was over all missing a little something. I am not really sure what. It was well written, so that was not the issue. Just something wasn’t there fully for me.

Either way it was just enough to prick my interest. I look forward to reading the more to come. Plus there was a little surprise at the end that I want to see more about.

Blurb: The first step on the road to addiction is desire…

Tighe is Summer’s prince, the second son of the Summer Queen. The blindness of his mortal father cursed him with eyes that see too much, and now he wanders the woods of immortal Summer alone. He is an outsider in his own country or at best a curiosity—never someone anyone truly wants.

Faelan is gancanagh, one of dark Summer’s most treacherous beings. Beguiling as he is beautiful, he, like all of his kind, was made to incite lust and longing, even as he seeks true love. For anything mortal, anything unprepared, even to be in his presence is dangerous.

When the two meet by chance, Faelan can’t help but be curious about this half-mortal prince—and the prince is more interested in a companion than questioning what kind.

Tighe has never seen anything but the lie behind love. Faelan is love’s lie and knows it. Is the beginning and end of everything between them inevitable? Which is stronger, need—or nature?

Review: Tighe, as the son of the Summer Queen and a blind mortal, has very special eyes. They saw everything hidden. He considers them a curse since he sees even truths that people had from themselves. This has led to him being alone and lonely. He is looking for something different in a lover, someone who he can actually love.

That comes in the form of Faelan, a being that draws people to himself through lust. But that lust is dangerous and can become addictive. No one sees beyond Faelan’s beauty. He wants someone to love.

These two are opposites, but both looking for the same thing in life. They want to belong and love someone. They also break their normal patterns and set out to give each other what they both need.

I enjoyed this read. The writing is good, and was very descriptive. Not just the sex, but also the surrounding and emotions. It moved along at a comfortable pace for such a short read without feeling rushed.

Blurb: In the conclusion to the Dragon Hearts Series, Adam and Novik are having trouble finding some alone time together after the birth of their son, and another recent attack by the humans, and the dragons within their own nest, haven’t been making things easier for them. Adam misses the intimacy he used to share with his mate, but rarely sees him because of Novik’s duties as the leader of the dragon warriors. Adam is determined to get the time they need to reconnect.

Novik has no problem with this, but it seems his duties to protect the nest have him returning home too exhausted to do more than fall into bed, let alone see his mate and child. He’s determined to make this work one way or another.

However, a familiar enemy will make one last attack on the nest, going after every human to have ever vexed him, and it might put Adam and Novik’s plans on hold indefinitely.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

The humans and their dragon mates are as hot as ever in the sex department. But since the trouble with the human village the warriors have been able to spend less time with their mates. They are feeling the strain and loneliness. So when they do get a moment or two they sure make the most of it.

This book was mostly about Novik and Adam, but there were also scenes with a few of the other couples, and updates about those that did not have their own scenes. Jason and Kraigan are still my favorite pairing. The two have them love to pick on each other but the love still comes through. I always laugh at Jason’s smartass mouth.

I liked this conclusion to the series. The book was able to tie up all the loose ends and give a glimpse of the future the nest will have. Not everything is perfect but the dragons on their human mates are happy, and well on the way to happily ever after.

This was great story to end the series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also coincides with the Angel Pack Series.

Viktor is the second in command of King Dante. Since Dante has found his mates, Viktor has been taking more responsibilities in ruling the vampires. He is happy for his king, but also feels a little jealous. When he discovers his mate’s scent on a sweater in the king’s office he immediately goes to the king to find out where his mate is. This leads him to the Angel Pack house where he comes face to face with his mate Adam.

Adam is the bound familiar of witch Rory. He is a natural submissive who must obey whomever he is bound to. Since he is already bound to Rory he knows he will never have a mate, or at least he is not supposed to. That all changes when he meets Viktor.

Both Viktor and Adam fit perfectly together. They both have the same sexual interests and want to complete their mating. But the bound to Rory is in the way of them being completely together. Luckily as they work on a way of breaking the bound, Viktor and Adam still find a way to be together whenever they can. Adam is adorable and Viktor is the big bad Dom. They were both cute and damn sexy together.

This book was half about the relationship between Viktor and Adam. The other half was about the ongoing story arc involving the paranormal world and changes taking place. It also gives more information about what the Angel Pack and their allies are going up against and what it all means. So a hell of a lot of things get revealed and happen. I mean a lot.

This book kept me on my toes as I wondered what would happen next. New characters are introduced. The reasons behind Malachi and who he is gets told. There is also more explanation about the prophecy and what is all means to the paranormal rulers and their mates. And still there is more. Like I said a lot happens.

This book was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. There were ups and downs all over the place. It answered a few questions as well as brought up even more. I can’t wait for the next book in this world to see what happens next.

Blurb: Some things in life just might be worth giving up garlic for.
It was simple curiosity that led Augustin to the vampire dating site—he thought it must be a joke started up by a bunch of weirdos. Man, was he right—but it just so happens that those weirdos really are vampires, and when one shows up at his place, Augustin’s world is turned upside down.

First he’s got a psychotic vampire to deal with. Then he’s got one who is much more fun hanging around.

Except now that Augustin knows that vampires exist, he can’t be left alive. Or can he? When an alternative is offered up, Augustin doesn’t care for it, either. After all, he doesn’t want to be whisked off to some disgusting vampire den.

Tony’s the vampire next in line to lead the coven. He wants to be a fair man, and that means arguing against killing Augustin. If he’s also attracted to the sarcastic, adorable man, where’s the harm in that?

The attraction between Augustin and Tony is undeniable, but deny it is what they both try to do. Someone is going to have to bend or break.

Review: From the start Augustin pulled me into the story and I could really connect with him. He is not perfect, far from it. He knows it and accepts it. But that doesn’t mean he lets others put him down. He gives as good as he gets, and damn does his mouth get him in trouble.

It all starts when Augustin gets bored and while surfing the net he discovers a vampire dating site. Curiosity gets the better of him and he keeps trying to create a profile, only it doesn’t work. Little does he know that vampires are real and they are mentoring the site. Augustin has just opened a whole can of trouble.

Tony is one of the vampires who comes to investigate the human. Not too much is given about his past other than he was dying of a disease when he was made into a vampire thirty years ago. The attraction between Tony and Augustine is there from the start. But Tony really needed to work for Augustin to give in.

This book rocked, hands down. I spent most of the time laughing my ass off. The snark and smartassery is insanely hilarious. The interactions among not only Tony and Augustin were funny, but also with the secondary characters.

“Calm your tits,” Augustin said, “and put your damned fangs away. I swear to God, if I find a fingernail file anywhere around…”

That is just one of the zingers Augustin says throughout the book. This book simply has me rolling in laughter. Not only that but I could not put it down once I started reading. I needed to see what next off the wall thing Augustin would say or do. He definitely keeps Tony on his toes.

Plus the chemistry between Augustin and Tony is hot and steamy. They are very sexy together.

All in all it was funny, sexy, and very well written and paced. I simply enjoyed this book to the ultimate. I cannot say one bad thing about it, except I didn’t want it to end.

This is the first book in a series and I cannot wait for the next one.

To say that I love Bailey Bradford is like saying I like to breath…duh. She is just an amazing author who just does it for me. But, I have to admit, I did not see My Life Without Garlic, and Augustin coming.

Leigh is right when she calls Augustin snarky, what she didn’t mention, that his little smart mouth will have you gasping, belly laughing and blushing.

Yes, there is a tightly written plot, and passionate romance, but my gawd, there is so much humor, that I just had to pop in and add my two cents.

Review: Brett is a genius scientist running from the government. For the past year he has been held prisoner in his research lab. He finally makes his escape when he learns they are moving him to a new bigger lab. On his way to the secret hide out his uncle has made he sees something large and with feathers fall out of the sky. It turns out to be a large man with large wings.

Iron is an Angelus who is a guardian to his king of Angelum. They are on Earth after barely surviving and getting away from an assassin attempt. They are now stuck on Earth hiding from inter-realm bounty hunters.

Brett is a smart man and not just in the ways of science. His uncle Paul made sure to teach him how to take care of himself. Iron is a warrior who does what he must to protect his charges, even things he may not like.

These two have chemistry from the start and its does not take long for them to get down and dirty. The sex is pretty damn steamy. I have to say wings are an interesting addition to the mix. They may be from two different worlds, literally, but they find that together they are more powerful.

This was a pretty good start to a new series from one of my favorite authors. The book is well written and definitely creative with a new take on Angels. There is a lot of information about Angelum and the powers of Angelus people. The only thing was that it ended way too soon in my opinion. It was perhaps a bit rushed. A lot happens in a very short amount of time. I maybe would have liked it a little more drawn out.

I enjoyed this and want to read more about this interesting world SA Welsh has created. There were many secondary characters introduced that piqued my interest. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Review: Paul is a radio DJ and sings on the side. He is also blind, but really that is not a main concern or theme. Thor is a swim coach at the local college and listens to Paul every night on the radio. He also gets off on Paul’s voice. When he heard Paul speak after a gig at the club he knows who he is and makes a move.

For a short story the pacing of the relationship is just right. They are immediately attracted by it is not love right away. They both are new to long-term relationship so they slowly get to know each other and falling in love.

For a Sean Michael book this was pretty tame in the sex department. Less of the raunchy and more of the sweet and tender, but still pretty hot. They really are cute together.

This was a sweet little story of two men meeting by chance. They both find each other attractive and one thing leads to another. What starts as a one night stand turns into so much more for both of them.

Great little short that just made me feel happy at the end.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Josh has been hurt by witches before. He was tortured and watched as his best friend and first love was killed by a witch. So when he meets Carlos, a witch, he is not really all that happy to meet him. Things are made even worse when he realizes Carlos is his mate.

Carlos… is an ass in the beginning. He feels the mate bond but does his best to ignore it. He feels that his work is more important than meeting his mate. So he tries to go on about his job and not give in to the pull to Josh.

Both of these two men make big mistakes and they blow up in their faces. Josh is young and impulsive. Carlos is cold and tries to be unfeeling. But when they finally give in to each other they are pretty damn hot together.

At first I really did not like Carlos because of how he was treating Josh. Josh was also not really the best either. He had a really hard time keeping his cool and not exploding in anger. Towards the middle of the book they both grew on me and got better as characters.

Through it all is the discovery of more secrets being revealed about the dark and what the light thought may not be so true. Things are getting weirder for sure.

As a side note, I really noticed some editing issues on this one. There have been others in past books in the series, but not as noticeable as this book. This time some of them really pulled my attention for how obvious they were.

So aside from the editing lapses, the writing was good like I have come to expect from this author and the sex was decently spicy. It took a little before I liked the main characters but in the end I was satisfied with the way the book finished out.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

This book had a lot going on. Not only the mating of Abel and Elias, but it also revealed a new secret about the war between the light and dark. Things that were thought true are proven to be lies.

I enjoyed the mating of Elias and Abel. Both are easily likeable characters. Abel may be older than Elias but he is next to innocent about the ways of sex. Abel is so shy and skittish that the things he feels for Elias scare him at first. Elias needs to be patient and go slowly with Abel.

The funniest thing about the whole book is really that when Abel gets scared or nervous he accidentally uses his gift. So things get frozen, including his mate Elias. Total laugh out loud moments for some of those scenes, at least for me.

I really liked this book. Yes there were a few editing errors, but I overlooked them since I enjoyed the story so much. There was nice tender feeling for this one. Abel is just simply adorable to me. Elias was really the right match for him. Plus the sex was damn hot.

This was a great addition to the series.

Yet the pretty, fair-haired human’s exotic allure is hard to resist. He finds far more pleasure in the use of his pet than he would like.

Kept naked and leashed, Wid’s days are filled with boredom, while his nights wrapped in Kell’s arms turn from fear into pleasure. Even as the humans plot their escape, Wid and Kell form a bond and their growing affection cannot be ignored. When tensions boil over among the aliens, Wid and his friends may be Kell and his crew’s only chance for survival.

Reader Advisory: This book contains sex scenes of both non-consensual and dubious consent, as well as scenes of violence, abuse and torture.

Review: This review may contain spoilers. Also the Reader Advisory is very real and very serious. So if rape is a trigger please don’t read this book.

Wid is a twenty year old human male living on an Earth colony with his family. Things were rough but the humans were making the new world work. Until the Travians came and claimed that the once uninhabited world belonged to the.

I’m not going to lie. This book starts out as straight up rape. Then moves to dubious-consent. At no point is there really a part where Wid is completely on board with everything. At least I don’t think so.

I felt bad for Wid and the situation he got himself into. For being a stupid boy he was forced into the life of a sex slave. No matter what feeling developed between him and Kell, he will always be considered a sex slave. Even as Wid comes to enjoy the forced sex, I still felt skived out a bit. When Wid started to fall for Kell, I really didn’t know what to think.

I was not very impressed with Kell. He called Wid an “it” for a good portion, besides the raping deal. The Travians are a matriarchal society, so the women are in charge and the men are the military. Kell has a female mate that he loves and misses. However in their world men are allowed to have male sex partners, or pets. He only raped Wid in the start to make sure his scent was marking him, and to keep his stature at receiving such a gift as a human pet.

Even through an almost mild emotional bond forms between Kell and Wid, there is never going to really be more. So this left me at loose ends. I read through all the rape scenes, Wid being lashed like an animal, the descriptions of what the other humans went through, and all to be left feeling let down.

I want a happy ending with my stories, and this gives maybe a happy for now deal. As this is billed as a series, I am really hoping for more in the next book.

Review: The relationship between Ralph and Simon is very slow building. Simon has multiple issues to deal with. Things like OCD and what he calls “The Rules”. These rules state how he lives his life and interacts with the world and the people in it. Plus there are things going on in Whitechapel, things like voices and knocking.

Not everyone hears them, but Simon does. And they tell him things, things about the murder cases Simon and his team get.
Ralph is directly below Simon on the team, but he becomes a steadying influence on Simon. He also has an adoptive daughter who hears the knocking and knows things. He knows how to deal with Simon and accepts his weird quirks. Over time as he gets closer to Simon, he starts to feel more for him. Something that turns into love.

From the murders they solve, to the crazy things that are going on in Whitechapel, this was an intense read. Whitechapel is known for the weirdness and death. Something is there, something that causes people to lose their minds and commit heinous acts. I still not sure what.

I was not excepting the type of story I received when I started reading. This was definitely well written and very intelligently so. Also very British. But it also left me feeling a little unsatisfied. I want to know what the Demons of Whitechapel are. I want to know why they are there. I want to know what they are doing.

I want to know more everything basically. And the ending leaves it wide open for another story. So I really hope there is another one.

Review: This is a well written short story. This was like reading someone’s fantasy or a post in Literotica. It’s only fifteen pages, but I could not stop reading what would happen next.

There is little backstory or anything to blog it down. You get the general reason Max has walked into the establishment and moves right into the action. The damn sexy and very erotic action.

All in all, a very good and enjoyable read for those who like a little something to fuel a fantasy of their own.

Review: This was a wacky, crazy, and pretty damn good read. I have never read a book where each chapter is by a different author. But I must say they did a great job.

Quad is changed into a wolf shifter and abandoned by his maker. Now months later Quad is driving in his new car when it decides to die outside a little town called Trinity Valley. From there things just get weirder and weirder.

Gypsy is not human himself and is able to explain to Quad a little about shifters. But Gypsy has been hurt by shifters before and has a pretty big issue with them. But that doesn’t stop these two from mixing it up both in and out of bed. The chemistry is there from the start even when they don’t seem to like each other much.

For a book written by twenty-five different authors, there was a good flow in the story. It was fast paced and gave the needed information without dragging down the story with too much. The sex was steamy and very hot. The main characters were easy to like and personable.

A lot happens in a very short amount of time. There was tons of twist and turns going on throughout as Quad and Gypsy try to figure out what the hell is going on. There was some wicked planning going on by the bad guys.

This was a well written story by some of my favorite authors. It was entertaining, humorous, sexy, and wicked fun to read.

Blurb: Rune Savage had heard the phrase “Love conquers all.” When he’s attacked by a madman, his body was littered with scars. He wasn’t sure his mate, Carver, would be able to see past them. Fear had him lashing out and blaming everyone around him, including his mate for not protecting him.

Carver Nash knew he and Rune had a long road ahead of them. Rune blamed him for what happened but not as much as Carver blamed himself. Carver had let his mate down and he somehow had to prove to Rune he could trust Carver. First he had to get his mate to believe the scars on his body didn’t detract from the man’s beauty, if anything they only added to it. They were a sign of courage and strength.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. This series also coincides with events happening in the Paranormal Wars: Stone Haven series.

Rune is tortured by a mad man. The after effects leave him believing he is worthless, just like his parents told him he was. This leads him lash out at his mate and friends in his anger. Finally something knocks the sense into him and he realizes he needs Carver and the love he offers.

Carver loves his mate Rune just the way he is, scares, a little extra padding, and all. Carver sees the man Rune is and wants to help him accept what has happened and move past it. Things are not easy in the beginning, but Carver keeps trying and finally breaks through to Rune.

I must say these two are smoking hot together. The sex between is perfectly dirty and sexy. Even at the worst times, this two can get a little distracted by each other. Which does lead to some funny ribbing from their friends.

Both Rune and Carver had a hard time in this book. Both go through some very harrowing experiences that leave both of their lives on the line. It leaves the other mate feeling helpless at times. But throughout it all they realize they love and need it other.

The former cadre is definitely up to no good. At least most of them. There may be hope for a few who are not corrupt. It will be interesting to see where this storyline goes and what the corrupt members will try next.

I did enjoy the book on the whole. But it did not grab and keep my attention throughout. I found it easy to stop reading and focus on something else. I am not sure what it was missing, but something was I think. I liked the main characters and the secondary characters. I liked the relationship between Rune and Carver. I just was looking for something and didn’t find it.

Overall I good book that was just missing a little something to make it better. It does keep the suspense going into what will happen next and I look forward to the next book in this creative world.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Damon and Toby met at very bad times in their lives. It was not the right time for either of them to be able to mate. So Damon left for the best of both of them. Only problem is when he came back the Warriors of Light had moved and were living under a cloaking spell. Flash forward six years and they have found each other once more.

Damn, these two have a hard time catching a break. Some seriously sick secrets are discovered concerning both Damon and Toby. These two have been very hurt in the past. But together they are able to be strong and help heal one another.

I liked both Damon and Toby. They are so strong to have survived the lives they had and come out still sane and good. Damon for all rights should have been a dark warrior, but he never let the evil take root. Toby experienced something no person should be put through, but he still found the strength to continue on.

This two are so damn sweet and so damn sexy together. I have been looking forward to their story since they were first introduced in the series. When they finally have sex it’s hot but also loving. Really it is the first time for both of them and they totally blew it out of the park.

These dark baddies are seriously messed up and very sick people. I love it when they get their asses kicked. Plus I cannot wait to see what some of the new characters are going to get up to. As in all, this book reveals several new things, while leaving several questions, still unanswered.

This was a really great addition to the series.

Review: Stanley is minding his own business running in the park at night when he is attacked by what turns out to be a rapid alpha werewolf. So starts the journey for Stanley into the world of the paranormal. Lucky for him he is not alone as his new mate Fen is there to help him.

With a wacky cast of secondary characters and an annoying villain, this was an awesome little short. Stanley and Fen are just so cute together. They are a perfect match from the start. This was fast paced with off the wall dialogue, hilarious scenes, spicy sex, and a happy ending.

I can’t help loving a book by Amber Kell. They always make me laugh and just enjoy reading them. This was no different. And really what more could you ask for, except maybe for more.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

After everything Julian has been through he definitely deserves a mate. I have to say that Daniel is really the perfect one for him.

These two are super high on the sweetness meter.

Not to say they aren’t sexy, because damn right they are. The sex between them was super-hot. But also touching, and somewhat sad at times too.

Daniel knew he was dying so he was determined to figure out who killed him best friend before it was too late. Even as he falls for Julian he knows time it limited. He just wants to complete his goal and save up enough memories to get through till the end.

Julian has suffered at lot at the hands of his dark family. He finds happiness in Daniel’s arms. But because Daniel does not have a scent mate he knows it’s just for a little while.

Once again the dark baddies are up to no good. But it does lead to a clue about Julian’s lost nephew.

I liked this paring a lot. They are adorable together and both deserve someone to love forever. It’s also nice to see past characters make a cameo. This was an enjoyable book and I was very happy with the way things worked out.

I am very much looking forward to reading more in this series. There are so many different storylines hanging in the air that I want to know about.
