Blurb: Despite a major setback, Lucifer has no time to feel sorry for himself. Running Hell is a monumental task, even though he’s taken steps to modernize it with technology like closed-circuit cameras and security systems.

As he struggles with his infernal issues, an unannounced visitor threatens to break his black heart. Lucifer hasn’t seen Uriel since his Fall, but he remembers how much he loved Uriel and how betrayed he felt when Uriel didn’t stand with him during the War.

Uriel has been sent to inspect the changes Lucifer has made and report back to Heaven. Lucifer has no choice but to give Uriel a guided tour of the Nine Circles, and all the feelings come rushing back.

Uriel hasn’t forgotten Lucifer either, and they pick up where they left off—with enough sizzle to rival the hottest of hell’s fires. But their reunion will be short-lived, unless Uriel relinquishes his halo—which Lucifer is unwilling to let him do.

Review:  The first thing I am going to say is this cover rocked.  Kiernan is one author who can put together a book that not only draws you in but just keeps you there.  Also give you a short story that has quite a bit of meat to it.  Usually when I grab a short story, well they fall short.  Not enough substance to them to truly enjoy but this author gives you a hell of a good story with such few words.

Lucifer went against god and was sent to run hell.  His only pain was the fact that the man he loved went against him in the end.  Now here was Uriel striding through hell to have a chat.  It would seem someone is up to something, but if you want to know more read the story, you won’t be disappointed.

I absolutely had a blast reading this and look forward to reading many more stories by this author.  I would definitely say it is a good read.  Plus you will laugh your ass off also.

Blurb: Eddie Rodrigues doesn’t stay in one place long enough to get attached. The only time he broke that rule, things went south fast. Now he’s on the road again, with barely enough cash in his pocket to hop a bus south after his (sort-of-stolen) car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, Midwest, USA.

He’s fine. He’ll manage. Until he watches that girl get hit by a car and left to die.

Local shop owner Grayson Croft isn’t in the habit of doing people any favors. But even a recluse can’t avoid everyone in a town as small as Clear Lake. And when the cop who played Juliet to your Romeo in the high school play asks you to put up her key witness for the night, you say yes.

Now Gray’s got a grouchy glass artist stomping around his big, empty house, and it turns out that he . . . maybe . . . kind of . . . likes the company.

But Eddie Rodrigues never sticks around.

Unless a Christmas shop owner who hates the season can show an orphan what it means to have family for the holidays.

Review: Ohhh, this story was so beautiful, with just the perfect amount of angst and holiday spirit! Without any doubt, I consider this Amy’s best writing to date.

Eddie Rodriquez had been through many foster homes in his life, so many in fact, that he’s learned not to get attached and to always rely on nobody else but himself. He doesn’t own anything he can’t carry with him anywhere he goes, and drifts from state to state, working Renaissance Fairs to sell his beautiful glass creations. After witnessing a hit and run one night on his way to Texas, Eddie is stuck for a while since he’s the only witness and police want to question him.

Grayson Croft has lived in his small town all his life. After being abandoned by his lover years ago, Gray became a recluse who hates socializing with people, and he spends all his time keeping his Shoppe open and restoring his house. After volunteering to host Eddie for the time he needs to stay in town, Gray starts to realize how lonely he is. Listening to someone else’s footsteps in his house makes it seem more like a home again, and as much as he finds himself attracted to Eddie physically, he craves his company even more.

What was supposed to be a couple of days at the most turned into an open ended invitation for Eddie to stay and work with Gray for as long as he wants. The initial awkwardness between them turns into a reluctant friendship, and both Gray and Eddie realize how much they love each other’s company and how well matched they are. Gray doesn’t get his hopes up that young and beautiful Eddie would want to settle down with him, while Eddie has a foot out the door the entire time, preparing himself for the moment Gray gets tired of him.

I loved seeing how both Gray and Eddie became emotionally vulnerable to each other, despite the big age difference between them, which turned out to not be a problem at all. Eddie’s past experiences that taught him to never rely on anyone and that he’s not good enough to make people stay; those are the real issues. Despite how frustrating Eddie was at times, I thought he was very realistic and easy to relate to. Gray on the other hand made it real hard to warm up to; I never understood why it took him so long to get over his ex leaving him to move to a big city. It’s been YEARS since the breakup, and I didn’t like the idea that he needed someone to move in with him in order to move on with his life, because that screams pathetic to me. Gray is not a child; he’s a mature man in his 40’s, although at times he didn’t read as such.

This is a beautiful about finding love and trusting that for some people you mean everything. It’s about learning to rely on others and believing that despite a horrible past, you can be happy and deserve to be so. It’s about realizing that there are good people in this world, who want to help without expecting anything in return. Lovely ending!

Blurb: Zane Ashford’s stint in the NYPD comes to an abrupt halt when he is injured in the line of duty. After waking up partially blind in one eye, all he wants to do is crawl into a hole, but his friends and family won’t leave him alone. Reluctantly, he lets his best friend talk him into time away on a ranch in Montana. But the moment he gets there and meets Cyrus Abrams, Zane begins to contemplate murder.

Cyrus Abrams is vulgar, ornery, stuck in his ways, and not about to change for anyone, no matter how good Zane Ashford looks in those jeans. The more they lock horns, the more Cyrus begins to see Zane in a whole new light. But Cyrus has a past, one that left him in big trouble and more broken than he cares to admit—a past no one told Zane about. Cyrus fears that when Zane finds out, everything will come to a screeching halt.

Review: Hot damn this was one sexy book. The first thing that drew me in was the cover, and then the title, then the blurb and my heart just started beating fast. The cover showed me that it was going to be hot and sexy, mixed in with a bit of humor. Not a lot but just the perfect amount added in. Then there is the fact that one of the guys used to be a cop and damn my palms just started sweating. A man with the gun just heats you up. Then the title showed me that there is a bit of angst that will pull at you and maybe just a bit of tears added in. Then the blurb just captivates you and makes you want to grab it.

Zane was injured in the line of duty and he was pissed to say the least. He wanted to just give up and stay hidden. However thanks to his family and friends, his ass was about to go on a little trip to see a ranch. Now this is just not an ordinary ranch mind you, for there is one sexy man there who is going to rock Zane’s world.

Now Cyrus is just the man for the job. He is a stuck in the mud, and crazy to boot. He also can swear like a sailor or maybe a sexy man looking for some hot loving. These two just can’t seem to get along, that is until Cyrus sees a man with potential and heat. He wants this man, now all he has to do is to get the guts to say something. Or maybe just make a move now that would be hot.

I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by these two amazing authors. Now I have had the chance to read many books by these two and I have got to say that this one is my favorite so far. I would definitely recommend it.

Blurb: Once a fearless fighter pilot, Commander Travis Wilson is now confined to a desk. It’s been eight years since the near-fatal crash that grounded him, and it still rules his life thanks to relentless back pain.

Lieutenant Commander Clint Fraser almost drowned in a bottle after a highly classified catastrophe while piloting a drone. His downward spiral cost him his marriage and kids, but he’s sober now and getting his life back on track. He’s traded drones for a desk, and he’s determined to reconcile with his kids and navigate the choppy waters of PTSD.

Clint has been on Travis’s radar ever since he transferred to Anchor Point. When Clint comes out to his colleagues, it’s a disaster, but there’s a silver lining: now that Travis knows Clint is into men, the chemistry between them explodes.

It’s all fun and games until emotions get involved. Clint’s never been in love with a man before. Travis has, and a decade later, that tragic ending still haunts him. Clint needs to coax him past his fear of crashing and burning again, or their love will be grounded before takeoff.

Reviewer: Aerin

Review: Well ….this wasn’t my favorite book, that’s for sure. There were plenty of things that didn’t work, and with the risk of sounding like a big asshole, I hated all the limitations that Travis has because of the back injury he suffered years ago.

I know it wasn’t his fault and I understand it was a serious accident and that he’s lucky to be alive, but… that back injury was mentioned so many times, I feel like half of the book dealt with Travis’s misery and pain management. It felt very repetitive. Forget sexy times and out-of-this-world-chemistry; the guys might have found it, but I’m not feeling it. While I don’t mind the lack of anal sex in my books, there needs to be a lot of intensity and slow burn to make up for it, which this book seriously lacked.

I like that Clint and Travis are both mature people with families and problems they learn how to live with, but this didn’t make up for everything else.

This isn’t a bad book by any means, but it’s not what I’m used to and what I’ve come to expect from L.A. Witt.

Blurb: Roughneck Riders are not an MC club you mess with, least of all their rough and tough gang leader Heavy. But Heavy has a secret that has to be kept, no matter what—his heart belongs to a man. It shouldn’t. He’s supposed to be into women, like the other guys in the club. Junk is just too cute to resist, though. Add in his delectable body, his sweet submission and his willingness to accept Heavy’s sadism, and the couple are a perfect match.

Junk’s a probie, proving his worth to the club and demonstrating his mechanical know-how. He’s lived on the edge for a long time, flitting from one place to the next. But now that he’s settling in as a Roughneck, life is looking up. Not least because he’s in love—soul-eating, cock-thickening obsessive love. He can’t tell anyone about his desire for Heavy, but what he can do is push his lover’s buttons, all day, in full view of everyone, until he’s damned sure the night will bring a whole host of sinful delights and wicked punishments that will leave him marked, bruised and most of all, wholly satisfied.

Review: When you hear about a Biker gang, they are believed to be tough, no holds barred men and they’re proud of that status. Heavy, being the leader of the Roughneck Riders is brutal and private in his business dealings concerning their club, and also with his relationship with the club’s mechanic, Junk. For them, being gay in a gang as dangerous as the Roughneck riders can mean death for both of them.

The way that this story ended was very much expected on my part, because for them. There is no happy ending. They have to keep their relationship secret and go with the status quo. Heavy have to keep up his persona that he can have the pick of any woman in the club, but who he really wants in his bed is Junk. He’s jealous that he has to stand and watch Heavy with the women. When they do find the time to sneak away from the club and be together, Heavy makes sure to show Junk who is, and forever will be the his Boss.

Blurb: Nolan Carmichael is getting a fresh start—new career, new company, new life. The only problem is, he liked his old life just fine . . . until an accident robbed him of his health, his job, his self-confidence, and his ability to go out in public without having anxiety attacks.

Zack Anderson has scared away his last four administrative assistants. So when he hires Nolan on a whim, he’s not too worried, since Nolan will be gone within the week anyway. Two weeks later, Nolan has made himself indispensable, completely reforming Zack’s schedule, life . . . and libido.

But in a company already torn by internal politics, one wrong step could ruin both their careers. And not only are they working to reopen Ringside Gym, Zack’s retreat when he was a troubled teen, but they also can’t help themselves falling for each other. If only the rest of their lives could go as smoothly as things do when they’re alone together.

Reviewer: Aerin

Review: This book had me at the blurb because of my huge weakness for grumpy alpha males with a permanent chip on their shoulder.

Zack was pretty much exactly as I expected, a man with anger issues, lacking social behavior, someone who’s feared and hated rather than loved, but also someone with a huge heart and a marshmallow core. Zack’s job as a CTO is not something he’s ever planned on and it’s definitely not something he enjoys, but it allows him to secretly continue his plans to restore and re-open the gym that saved his life as a teen, and to keep alive the memory of the man who helped Zack learn to manage his anger. Ringside Gym is the only thing that Zack cares about, and he’ll stop at nothing to rebuild its legacy to offer LGBT teens a safe place to manage their anger issues and blow off some steam.

Nolan Carmichael has been recovering from a severe car accident for the past two years, and he’s more than ready to take charge of his life again. Getting a job he’s overqualified for is not a problem, as long as he can get past his severe anxiety and panic attacks. PTSD’s a bitch, but he’s determined to conquer it. His job interview doesn’t go exactly as planned, and he ends up becoming the PA of the most feared man in the entire company; Zack’s reputation certainly doesn’t make Nolan’s future with the company very promising.

Nolan and Zack are very different from each other, but they work very well together by complementing each other perfectly. I loved how the budding chemistry made their interactions that much more intense. Despite the odds stacked against them, Nolan and Zack become a pretty strong duo; once they decide the chemistry between them is worth exploring, there are plenty of scorching moments to enjoy. I loved how they each worked to win the other’s trust and how they never gave up on each other, not even when things got hard and the odds seemed stacked against them.

I could probably find a few flaws and things to complain about, but I’m content and happy with how this book ended. I hope this series continues with Max’s story, because he seems like a pretty important character and I’d love to learn more about him.

Review: Such an emotional addition to the Spirit of Sage series. Aston is finally released from prison after serving twenty five years for murder. When he arrives at Sage he realizes things have changed and that his parents are gone. He meets sexy twins Kevin and Kieran. Those two are hard to resist but he gets off on the wrong foot with them.

Amid trying to start his life things he’s been through in prison come out. I bawled like a baby at the heinous things done to Aston while in prison. I hated the people who hurt and abused him. We find out that cult members were in the prison as well. As a result their devious deeds come to light.

These three men have been through so much by this cult that it was a wonder they could still function and be around others at all. I admired their determination to live instead of giving up. I loved that they helped each other when memories became too much to handle and when other prisoners showed up to work who had hurt Aston. It made my heart sing when the crew helped Aston when the past came back to haunt him.

Emotional and yet healing this story packs a punch. Highly recommended.

Review: Welliver is on the mission to earth to scout out a safe place to live. He is super smart and knows it. When things go bad he is the one called on to fix the problem. Case in point when the creatures attack the ship. Unfortunately Welliver is too far away and has no chance getting to the safety of the ship so he takes off into the unknown. About to be attacked. A sexy, naked man comes to the rescue and saves Welliver from being eaten.

Beast has been alone on earth since the prison was deserted twenty years before. He cannot remember his name but he does know that he wants Welliver. Things progress nicely between these two.

I loved this book. Beast is dangerous and sexy a definite plus for me. Welliver is smart and handsome. I loved how Welliver went through the system and discovered who Beast was. The interactions between these two were hot.

Amazing and fascinating read from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Review:  Each book in the Yellowstone Wolves collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Now even though this has the guys from the first two, this is actually a story about another pack.  Pete is a city boy all the way around, but his best friend talked him into going on a trip to the country so to speak.  However Roger ended up getting sick and Pete was on his own.  He just hadn’t expected it to mean he was stuck going on a hike.  A hike that ended up with him lost.

Tobias’s finds the sexy human in one of his barns, but realizes that this man is his mate.  A mate that is from New York, and fears that no one in his pack would accept him.  Or maybe he was afraid that his mate wouldn’t want to stick around.  To top it off Tobias’s have brother Zev is causing trouble once more.  Zev is the son of the wolf that caused problems for the other packs.  One of the dark ones and you can tell that it is deep in Zev as well.  Now if you want the juicy details, well pick up the book.

I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed at all.  This is a fascinating story that is very unique.  I love the energy that you can see from these wolves.  Although I think I would have smacked Tobias upside the head a couple of times.  It is an action packed story with some very hot little scenes in it.  I do hope that there is more to this series because it is a total hit with me.

I had a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend it.

Review:  Each book in the Yellowstone Wolves collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Every once in a while you get an idea that a story has an inner story to tell.  With this one it would seem to be that way.  When one’s heart is full of darkness, evil will follow and lead at the same time.  If one has the darkness inside of them, it is up to them to figure out which path to follow.

Christopher had left his home thinking that he wanted a new way of life.  However he realized that in a way he had been given another path to follow.  His heart was wanting to go home, but in away his fears soon followed.  It wasn’t until Fredrik came into his life, that he realized that what he truly wanted was standing right in front of him.

Fredrik’s father was of darkness, evil wanting more power.  He was born from a mother who had light in her heart, but the darkness was in Fredrik also.  However he chose to follow another path.  When his brother was given a gift of a stolen child, he knew that he had to do the right thing.  In doing the right thing, his path was now solid.  He had a mate, he had not expected and love that would shine in them.  If you want the good and juicy details, well read the story.

In each of us, there is a light and darkness to us, but it up to us which path we chose to follow.  I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to get started on the next story.  It has a lot of action, suspense and danger in it, but it also has some hot and kinky sex.  The characters are solid and very warm; I loved how the story just seemed to flow.

It would be rated higher than a five if that were possible.  What an amazing story by an amazing author.

Review: Kenneth need help and fast.  When his sister passed, her husband dumped their children onto him.  Now he had five children that he was raising.  He wasn’t doing to bad, but he did need some help.  The alpha wolf of their pack, he was always busy trying to do things.  When Monie bit the nanny, he knew he needed a predator for a nanny.  He just hadn’t expected Jack.

Kenneth and Miles have always been close, but never over stepped the boundaries.  It took Jack to make them see that they were all three mates.  However bonding never does go the way it is supposed to.  Kenneth is forced to go overseas to deal with a merger, but the time he is gone makes the others realize that they needed to step in.  If you want to know more juicy details, especially the hot sex… well you will have to read the book.

I have got to tell you that the title rocked.  It was what caught my attention and made me want to read the book.  I hadn’t even read the blurb at the time.  This story is funny as hell but there are some serious scenes in it as well.  This is a pack but it is also a family.  It is very entertaining and is a fresh new outlook with shifters.  I loved the world that was created by this author and would love to read more about this group.

I had a lot of fun with it, although I have to say that I think the author could have done a better job with Ally’s two little brothers.  I didn’t care for that part at all and it almost had me putting the book down.  Other than that, the book was quite enjoyable.  I hope that there will be a second book in which Gunny might find his mate as well as Zak.  I can guarantee that this book will be a hit with you.

I would definitely recommend it.
