Review:  Each Book in the Gillham Pack collection features a different romantic couple.  To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.  This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride collection. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

Over the years that I have been reading I soon come to the conclusion that I do have favorites.  Catherine Lievens is one of those authors that just seem to bring a smile to my face no matter what is going on.  Her stories always leave me wishing that I was in them.  There is a joy in them as well as many other feelings that just seem to brighten my day every time I read them.  I will admit that when she puts a new one out, I go and read the entire two series that are connected before I read the new book.  It connects me a bit easier with the story, knowing who everyone is and what they stand for.  Plus I just get a kick out of some of the guys.

Geoffrey was a human who basically hung around the pack.  His mate was a wolf, who is very shy and doesn’t really acknowledge him.  It has its ups and downs that is for sure, but it all changed when Geoffrey came across a windego dying.  She had save three little ones and brought them to the pack for safety.  The oldest Mingan was not even a year old but he chose Geoffrey.  Now all they need to do is to get William into the act.  To top it off Mingan’s father shows up and if you want to know more, pick up the book.

I always get a kick out of these guys and this didn’t change that at all.  I loved Geoffrey, and once I found out why William was the way he was, well let’s just say he is a sweetie.  I just wanted to hug him to death.  I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. There is something about the way that she tells you a story more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it. 

This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break or when you just need the sun to shine for you. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: Orange is a school teacher and ex thief. He is tasked to do one last robbery in order to bail his brother out of jail. During the robbery he comes face to face with his mate Mal who works security. Orange ends up going to rescue his brother who in the mobs hands. 

I loved the interactions between these two. Orange is confidant and seems to have a level head while Mal is gruff and at times blunt. Well written and entertaining.

Great read.

Review: Ollie is recovering from his ordeal with the mob but has anxiety and social problems as result of the torture he suffered. Orange enlists the aid of Claw to keep an eye on his brother and protect him.

I liked that Claw wanted to help Ollie yet did not baby him. Though some interactions were questionable they still accomplished the goal of getting Ollie to move on. 

Well written and interesting. Great read.

Review: I love reading Shifter, Paranormal books, and while this is a first for me reading from this author, I’m not sure I’ll be reading anymore from him. I know that all shifter stories are not the same. This story started off reading good when Quinn goes out to run, when he couldn’t sleep and he saw a wolf being shot at, by his neighbor. He follows the wolf’s tracks and it lead back to his cottage, where he finds a naked man in his home.

With the other shifter books I’ve read. The mates are always overjoyed and happy to find their mates, the other half of their souls. Not so in this story. Goddard realizes that although he and Quinn are mates, he doesn’t want a relationship with Quinn because he’s on the run from someone that wants to kill him. Yes he wants to have sex with Quinn, but he doesn’t want to bond with him.

I barely got through the rest of this story as it just dragged on, and I completely lost interest in it. When the person that is hunting Goddard, and wants to kill him finds him, the reason for chasing him from state to state just didn’t make any sense to me.  I was completely confused at the reason. But hopefully Quinn and Goddard work out the issues and end up together. I can’t in all honesty recommend this story to anyone.
