Blurb: Parker Holtzer isn’t the type to buy into other humans’ prejudices. He proves it by leaving his human family group and joining the paranormal Rogue Army. When he meets Mimic, he knows he made the right decision. Parker also isn’t a shy person. He doesn’t care if he is in a mess hall full of paranormals—he makes his move anyway. The only problem is Mimic doesn’t say a word. Is it a rejection, or is there a reason for the silence?

Review: Each book in the Roguefalls collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is part of the 2017 Mile High City Collection

Parker is very unusual for a human. He also doesn’t believe what other humans believe. He joins the paranormal Rogue Army to help the paranormal’s fight and protect. His very first mission is going to be with the one man that turns him on like crazy. Nice that the man just so happens to be his mate as well.

I love how this author can make a short story seem a bit longer with more details put into it. Although I do wish that it was longer because I would have loved more about his pretty amazing couple. Mimic is a skinwalker which is pretty cool and something I didn’t know about. I also loved that even though he was the paranormal, he doesn’t come off as one big alpha type.

This was a fun story to read about and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: This story is a branch off from the original Wolves of Stone Ridge series which has many branches off of it. I would start with the first book in that series and go from there. Be ready for a good time.

Stefan and his best friends decide to have a bit of fun on their vacation. Skiing was a favorite of theirs and they were pretty good at it. That is until someone knocks him off course and ends him up with a broken leg. He swears he sees a dragon, but then a sexy man is what he wakes up to. Things are going to get hot and spicy real soon, for Stefan is Kazeem’s mate.

I really wished that this book had been longer. It felt like it had been cut off before the real fun got even started. I do hope for this collection that the next book will be longer. Other than that it was amazing as usual. I always loved dragon shifters and dang if Charlie did’t give us a favorite.

This story had my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

Blurb: Meet me in St. Louis, Louis, bite me at the Fair!

Hot dogs and ice cream cones and electricity—oh my! The 1904 World’s Fair has it all!

The world’s spotlight is firmly fixed on St. Louis, Missouri—gateway to the West and host of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Visitors have come from all points of the globe: to gape, to taste, to explore, and to enjoy the marvels which the World’s Fair has to offer.

William Deming is an ambitious young reporter from Utah. He sees a chance not only to visit the fair, but to make a name for himself by reporting on it. He takes a room in a boarding house close on Lindell Boulevard, close to the Fair itself. What he doesn’t count on is meeting Misha—a young and handsome Russian, whose aunt owns the boarding house.

Misha is something William has never encountered before—a vampire! Before he can wrap his head around Misha’s revelation, a man is discovered murdered at the Fair, and William wonders if his Misha is involved. The evidence is especially damning as there seems to have been a connection between the vampire and the victim. Will an old flame cause new problems for William and Misha? Will they find love at the World’s Fair? Or will theirs be doomed to be a fatal attraction?

Purchase Link: eXtasy Books | Amazon US | Amazon UK

Review: Misha lives his life as quietly as he can with the help of his aunt when a new boarder catches his eye. William has been sent to do a story on the first World Fair when his eye is caught by Misha and he decides that maybe he can do the story and still have some fun.

This is a well thought out story that has a good outline and plot. Misha has a somewhat lonely existence and he begins to long for something different. William is just covering the World Fair and falls into a dalliance with Misha. These two men seem to be a good fit for each other and fell for each other quickly and they were quite passionate towards each other.

I liked the slight mystery and the danger, but I thought that things fell into place too easily. The start of the book was a bit hard to get into but as it progressed it seemed less stiff.  It seemed contrived at times and there was one point that I really found hard to believe. I mean out of all those thousands of people they just decided it was Misha…for no reason at all.

I will recommend this to those who love historical, vampires, gentle sex and angst.

This story is a branch off of Wolves of Stone Ridge, so I would start with that series first. There are several series that are connected to this series as well.

I came across this author when her first book in the Wolves of Stone Ridge series came out and from that point on I knew that she would become a favorite. The worlds she creates are unique and keep my attention from the moment I start reading. The characters are sexy, fierce, tempting and will fight for what they believe is right. The stories are fascinating and give the reader everything they could ask for in a story. Heat, danger, excitement and a bit of adventure are just a few things you get in these stories.

Baron had made it to being the second of his herd, but then he was found out. He had helped his best friends family escape when his friend had been killed. His alpha was a sadistic asshat that loved to give pain. If it wasn’t for a council Internal affairs investigator, he would probably have been dead soon. Brought to the clutch where Nolan and the others were at, he had a major shock. It would seem the sexy orange gargoyle was his mate.

Conchlin was training to be a medic and was pretty good at it. His first patient turned out to be his mate and that he had not expected. Then his father and brother show up and they bring trouble with them.

I have always loved Charlie’s books and this was just another amazing story. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more. I had a lot of fun reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. This is one of those stories that will be read more than once.

Blurb: Sometimes we have to face our past even if it’s the last thing we want to do.

Cumar has been living in the human world for the past eight years, and he has no intention of changing that. He has a job he likes, friends, and he’s in love with Yo’ash, the bouncer of the only club for demons in Chicago. That love might be unrequited, but it’s better than anything he’d have had in Hell, where he grew up.

Yo’ash likes his life predictable and boring, and Cumar is anything but that. They share a past, but Cumar has never seemed to recognize Yo’ash, and Yo’ash is glad for it. It’s a part of his life he’d rather not think about, and it’s one of the reasons he keeps Cumar at arm’s length, the other one being that Cumar doesn’t seem to be able to commit to one person.

When someone comes after Cumar, exposing who he is and his past and forcing him to go back to Hell, Yo’ash has to make a decision. Will the trouble Cumar is facing be enough for him to step away once and for all, or will they both realize that together they are stronger than apart?

The stories are fascinating and give the reader everything they could ask for in a story. Heat, danger, excitement and a bit of adventure are just a few things you get in these stories.

Cumar’s father is one of the Prince’s of Hell and you can guess just how evil the man can be. Cumar never wanted anything to do with it, so at seventeen he took off for the human world. He worked for the League, a group that policed the demons and other paranormals. He actually liked his job and those around him. However with his older brothers death, it meant he was next in line. To bad he didn’t want the job.

Yo’ash used to be a bodyguard in hell for ten years and hated it. He hated the whole thing about hell. He pretty much likes the way life is and doesn’t want to change it. He likes to keep his life the way it is, and the only thing he wanted was someone permanent in his life. Cumar was the one he wanted but the man never settled down. But when demon’s are sent for Cumar, Yo’ash is the first one in line to protect him. Now if only he would get his head out of his ass and go for the man who has loved him for a very long time.

I think this is probably one of my favorite books in this series but then again I always think that with each book. I just got a kick out of Cumar. The man might be a fighter and a demon but damn he is just about as sexy as you get. I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

This is one of those books you will read more than once, I know I will.

Review: Johnathan and Rafe purchase a home that has been in Jon’s family forever. Soon after starting renovations strange occurrences began to happen that only intensify the further the progress on the house. No one will tell them anything about the house as no one but a select few know anything.

I have to say this one of the best horror books I have ever read and the greatest part is there is no bloody parts. Three generations of family generation converged in this house. You don’t find out for sure what exactly is going on and why until near the end and boy what a twist of sorrow, terror, sadness and heartbreak it is.

My heart went out to Johnathan and Rafe’s family for what they went through in the past. Spooky, yet brilliantly written this book will have you reading until the very end. I absolutely loved it.

Highly recommended.

Review: At this point I’ve learned to read eXtacy books as self-published, with all the range that that entails.

There’s a sort of melancholy that takes me a while to shake every time PoC presence is invoked as a [villainous/expendable] backdrop. That melancholy is ramped up to full-fledged horror here.

All the black characters talk in the same style of satirized, childish Ebonics, including the kids. There are southern white accented characters who aren’t written with ‘accents,’ despite their accent being emphasized. The plot is cardboard, and none of the characters come off as particularly distinct beyond professions and the love interest’s superpower which he literally uses to fry an entire ‘gang’ of Black guys without remorse. Not sure it’s ever explained why a bunch of “stupid” Black guys are the villains in a government conspiracy.

Quote: “They were all dressed in what one would see in the movies, all in low hanging pants and too many necklaces and carrying knives” was the last line I managed to read.

Sex scene was rushed instaromance.

Review: A magical story about a prince, Anwyll, who is soon to become king, who finds his consort among the commoners. Pedr is a gardener from generations of the beginning when the people fled their home world from a tyrannical reign.

Anwyll was so determined to to keep Pedr despite what tradition says. I loved how thee two interacted and talked to one another. Pedr was extremely knowledgeable about all things regarding plants. I loved his gift for the king and the tale that is told to how it came about years before.

The celebration was magical and felt like it was a fairytale come to life.

Awesome read.

Review: Each book in the Council Enforcer’s collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.  They are entertaining and have just the right mix of feelings in them. There is also quite a bit of danger or excitement in it as well. This one caught my attention and kept it all the way to the very end.  I love the mixture of characters that this story and the other ones have in it.  Will always keep you entertained.

Daniel lost his wife to an accident, or should I say his mate and it had pretty much destroyed him.  He was left alone to raise his cutie pie daughter and he wasn’t doing a very good job at it.  He also needed some help, which with the help of his daughter came one very sexy man.  A man with a secret that could hurt them.  Also this man seemed to think that he was his mate.

Archer was a scientist and loved what he did.  That is until what he did was end up killing shifters from the poison he made.  Running sounded good, but you can only run so far.  To top it off he has found his mate and his mate had a daughter.

I love the way this author puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. They have a serious tone to them, but there is  a bit of humor floating around. I do get a kick out of the whole thing. I can’t wait to read the next book.

To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride and Gillham Pack collection. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

Mael has finally met his mate, right before he had to go help an ex-boyfriend with some shifter problems.  Scott is a sweetie, but has a little bit of a jealous problem.  So what do you get when you put Lenny, Mael, Scott and Mael’s ex in a room together, a laugh a minute is what you get.

I love the way Catherine puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. They have a serious tone to them, but there is quite a bit of humor floating around.  Well the enforcers now have their very own Nysys and Keenan, and his name is Lenny.  I love how protective they are of their mates, even when they are being asshats. I do get a kick out of the whole thing.

They are not long size novels, but just the right size for me to really enjoy. They have so much depth and details that if will feel like you are right there with them. I love that there is even the hint of danger surrounding them sometimes. Trust me that this is one series that you will enjoy quite a bit. I loved it and cannot wait for the next book to come out.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.  I think what I love most about this series and the ones they are connected with is that even though they are tough shifters or nix, they do have a soft spot for those around them.  Also the fact that it isn’t just one or two kinds of shifters, you get a wild mixture which makes it more fascinating.  Then you add in nix’s and it is going to get wild.

A house cat shifter with a ducks name and nicknamed Rabbit.  Rabbit lived on the streets as a normal black cat that is until Ms. White picks him up as a stray.  Then she wants to neuter his ass and oh hell no, he is not going to let it happen.  Then shifters come to his rescue and lets just face it, Rabbit is an cat with an attitude.  Guess he is just like a normal cat.  Then in comes his mate, or should I say two mates with a twist.  It seems like Rabbit and Samuel are mated to Elton, but not to each other.  Now is that a tongue twister or not.

I love the way Catherine puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. They have a serious tone to them, but there is quite a bit of humor floating around.

Review:  Each Book in the Gillham Pack collection features a different romantic couple.  To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.  This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride collection. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

Over the years that I have been reading I soon come to the conclusion that I do have favorites.  Catherine Lievens is one of those authors that just seem to bring a smile to my face no matter what is going on.  Her stories always leave me wishing that I was in them.  There is a joy in them as well as many other feelings that just seem to brighten my day every time I read them.  I will admit that when she puts a new one out, I go and read the entire two series that are connected before I read the new book.  It connects me a bit easier with the story, knowing who everyone is and what they stand for.  Plus I just get a kick out of some of the guys.

Geoffrey was a human who basically hung around the pack.  His mate was a wolf, who is very shy and doesn’t really acknowledge him.  It has its ups and downs that is for sure, but it all changed when Geoffrey came across a windego dying.  She had save three little ones and brought them to the pack for safety.  The oldest Mingan was not even a year old but he chose Geoffrey.  Now all they need to do is to get William into the act.  To top it off Mingan’s father shows up and if you want to know more, pick up the book.

I always get a kick out of these guys and this didn’t change that at all.  I loved Geoffrey, and once I found out why William was the way he was, well let’s just say he is a sweetie.  I just wanted to hug him to death.  I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. There is something about the way that she tells you a story more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it.

This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break or when you just need the sun to shine for you. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review:  Each book in the Council Enforcer’s collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride and the Gillham Pack collection. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

I have been reading romance and paranormal’s for over 30 years and can honestly say that I love a good paranormal romance more than any other kind of story.  It was not until 5 years ago that I started read m/m romance stories.  The action in them just seems to be more believable then when it is m/f.  So over the years you come to cherish and love certain authors more than many others.  It is the way they tell a story that will have you wishing you were right there with them.  And sometimes you wished you were the one falling in love.  This author has moved up the line to be one of my top favorite authors and from the way her stories are told, she will probably stay there.

Her characters are quirky as hell, protective to the point of well you can guess that answer.  I still have my ultimate favorite ones but many start to work their way into my heart.  Her stories also are full of action, suspense and danger plus some hot sexy time for our guys.  They catch my attention the moment I start reading and keep it all the way to the very last word.  This story gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more.

Cerris was half nix and half werewolf, and the werewolf side was a monster.  He had been told that for so long that he believed it.  Not even when others tell him he is not one, he fears that side of him.  So the boss man sends him to a full blooded werewolf who just so happens to be his mate.  Now Jackson just has to keep him still long enough to, well you know.  If you really want all the juicy details, pick up this amazing book.

I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series.
