Review: This is an amazing journey with all sorts of characters and twists and turns that take two men on a quest to find the pure one and changeling to complete a ritual pledge and in the process they are able to do the one thing they have longed for, bond. Captain of the guard Checca, the silver shining rock and a cat shifter is tasked with a mission of great importance.
Heath has been in love with Checca forever but Checca refuses to bond with him even though their mates. Heath insists he go with Checca despite the prophecy or dangers involved. Along the way he finds out why Checca has reservations about bonding with him.
This story is fantastic. It’s an edge of your seat, action packed, drama ridden story with intense scenes that leave you gasping. The group has a traitor in their midst as well as two other groups hell-bent on stopping them from their mission.
I loved everything about this book except for one thing. I do not recall the book specifically saying which cat species it kept referring to when it mentions the characters turning into their cat forms. Were they big domesticated cats, lions, cougars? I never completely knew and that irritated me as when I read I can visualize what the words are saying but the cat form kept wavering in my mind. Plus the fact the story did not feel like it was complete at the end considering they never did anything about the Yeudan who tried to interfere. Other than that it was a really good story. I am hoping there will be a sequel to this book.

Review: I Loved, loved, loved this book. Carson Locke is a rare Tabula Rasa vampire. Lincoln is the leader in an elite vampire squad. He comes across Carson breaking in a blood bank. Though the connection between the men is instant Lincoln knows he has to be cautious.
A suspenseful, action packed and mysterious story with heart-breaking, dangerous and sensual scenes that grab the reader’s attention from the start. The secondary characters added an extra element of intrigue to an already fantastic story and set the stage for more sequels to come.
I am in awe of how well written, gripping, and detailed this wonderful story was. I was on the edge of my seat from the first page to the very last. There is nothing in this book I did not love.
This is a wonderful and intriguing story that I highly recommend to all paranormal readers.

Short sweet read about a Satyr and a human and the circumstances that happen when things do not go as planned. Good read.

Review: Grey Talon, a Comanche shapeshifter and Trey, an orphaned Shaman who was taken in by the tribe are lovers. They are sent on a mission to find a dragon’s daughter.
I liked the combination of different genres in the story as it added a unique element to it. The Wild West theme fit the story as the two men journeyed. One of the things I found fascinating is Grey’s ability to turn into any animal he has seen. I love that as I don’t think I have read that before.
Trey’s Shaman abilities were interesting. There were a few characters introduced throughout that added more to the story rather than a book about two men which I liked.
While I liked the story I was a little confused by certain things that I felt would have benefitted from more details and other things with less. But overall it was a good read.

Review: Inspector Locke is transferred to Waterford after being disgraced. Inspector Blade is not happy that he is partnered with Locke and assumes the things he’s heard is true.
To me this story is about two men who fight the attraction they have for one another and who should have gotten to know each other before believing rumors about the other. I liked that they worked together despite their misgivings at the beginning, as everyone deserves to be heard and justice to be served.
There is an interesting and fascinating paranormal aspect to a story that was already interesting because of the main characters. I loved all the different paranormals introduced and am looking forward to reading more.

Review: In finding out more about his biological father, Andy Forest travels to a quaint little town in Massachusetts where the townsfolk’s are not quite what they seem. Unfriendly and downright hateful at times this town definitely wants its secrets to remain hidden forever.
As with most secrets eventually things will come out. Upon meeting Weston they both dive into the history of the town and discover two mysterious deaths at a factory in the eighteen hundreds that seem linked to Andy’s father’s death as well as his mothers.
I really liked this story. It had all the right elements to make for a great murder mystery except for the occasional repetitive nature from time to time. The townspeople were hostile but all things considered I understood to a point. Andy and Weston worked well together to uncover the truth about past events and why.

Review: Lucie Archer is a new author for me so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I have never really been a fan of new authors works but only because I have a certain type of book that I like. When I read the blurb it sounded so good and a bit mysterious to me. I have to admit that when I saw Witness Protection Program I was kind of hoping for love, bad guys and danger. However it doesn’t even come close to the bad guys and danger.
JD Smith is a nurse in Alaska, but in real life he is actually a doctor. A doctor who worked for some pretty bad guys and got caught in a raid. Now he was to spend most of his time in Alaska till the trial. He had not expected to come across a very sexy Jake, nor did he have a clue what to do.
Jake was pretty much a man slut and had slept with both men and women. He had never found that one person to make him want something permanent. That is until he came across JD. Too bad JD is hiding something big from them all.
Now it is a very cute story but it comes off very stiff, dry and didn’t flow as easy as it should have for me. There was just something missing to make it a great story but not too sure what it was. I read most of it but did skim over parts of it, because the pace of the story was just too slow to keep my interest for long. I was hoping for more action, suspense and danger, however it wasn’t there. I am afraid that this story was just not for me.

Review: I really enjoyed this story. You have Jimmy who is blind and is looking for the one. Then you have Master Micah who is recovering from the loss of his last submissive.
These two are just what the other needs to move forward. I liked the differences between the two as well as the independent nature of Jimmy despite his disability. I just wish it had been longer.

Review: Sion retreats to Rosewick bay after a suicide attempt. He meets charming and lively Mattie who resembles the apparition that appears in Sion’s room. They begin a relationship which is not without its hardships.
There is a mystery that parallel this couples existence. Joshua and Mathew were a couple once with hopes and dreams like anyone else. Joshua’s ghost continually appears to Mattie as a warning or a threat is the question.
Whispers of ghosts, tragic loss and affairs gone wrong surround Mattie Sion. The mystery of the ghosts and what they want is a vital part of the story and it left me feeling sad for all involved. Like most ghost stories things are never black and white.
Two men who have secrets of their own learn to deal with past mistakes and move forward while at the same time hoping for a happy ever after. I loved this book even though at times it had a creepy feel to it which was to be expected. I loved the interactions between the ghosts and the living as it added an element of mystery.
The back stories of the ghosts was an added bonus as I liked knowing what happened to these men. All in all it was a fantastic read with drama, suspense and mystery.

Clancy returns to find out what his ex-lover Simon is up to and discovers a merman, Jordan Hawkes is a man he used to feed, washed up on the shore. He also discovers Simon has been commissioned to build a submersible. There is also a mystery as to the suspicious treatment of prisoners. This is another wonderful story with characters that add depth to the book, as well as the interactions between Simon and Clancy. I loved the mystery aspect and finding out what was going on.
Machine: Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 Hearts
This book is the conclusion of the mongrel series and ties everything up. Both couples are back, William and Fan start arguing and eventually they split up. A mysterious stranger from fan’s past shows up and chaos ensues. This mysterious stranger has a machine that can alter beings and humans alike. Will and Clancy are kidnapped then returned less than what they were. Although both couples suffer greatly they eventually find their HEA. I felt the villain’s so-called takedown was a bit of a let-down considering all the lives he disrupted or destroyed. I expected a big showdown between Fan and him but got none. Other than that I loved the story as it revealed more about Fan’s background.
Overall the series was an amazing adventure of two couples. They struggle to make a go of their relationships and find their HEA. At the same time they access and confront threats to them and the town along the way. Great descriptions and plot made for an interesting read. I loved it.

Review: Odin James witnesses the murder of his best friend. As a result the man who committed the murder wants him dead before he can testify or so Odin thinks. The FBI find out there’s a leak in the department and that Odin’s whereabouts have been compromised. In order to better protect him Patric enlists the help of Tom.
Tom is a beta wolf in Patric’s pack. He knows Odin is his mate the moment he sees him. What I liked about this story was Odin had no idea of who or what he is or why his uncle is really after him. Along with another group who desperately want to rid the earth of all supernaturals Odin and Tom find themselves in a fight for their lives.
I really liked this book however I felt that the good guys were too tame. I mean they are fighting to live yet when people attacked them or took them hostage they’re reactions didn’t meet the situation in my opinion. Other than that it was a great read.

Review: Eric is having trouble moving on since his last relationship ended so his friends get him an android named Sloot. Eric however does not want to jump into bed right away he’d rather get to know Sloot first.
Sloot is a sex android. The surprising about him was that he has feelings and dreams of being with someone who will treat him right rather than use him like men have done in the past. I loved the interactions between these two. They were endearing and sweet yet thoughtful and considerate of one another.
I especially loved the way Eric protected Sloot. It was an awesome story that was well written with plenty of hot scenes and warm interactions to keep the reader interested.
I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series.

Review: In the end to a fantastic series Alexander has been saved by his brothers. His battle is still ongoing as the collar comes off .After years of being influenced by the collar even without it on he still has tendencies to want to hurt others.
Nigel knows what’s happening with Alexander and seems to be the only one able to get through to him when it happens. Nigel is also attracted to the youngest brother and the feeling is quite mutual.
I love this series so much. Reading about the lives of each brother’s fate was fascinating. Alexander’s was heart-breaking in what happened to him. I completely understood his need for vengeance and revenge. The queen deserved everything that happened to her warped ass self.
I was so happy Alexander and his brothers were finally reunited. This book has everything a fantastic plot, sexy men, action, drama and some hot sex. Highly recommended.

Review: Josh is a vampire hunter who has been on a mission to destroy all vampires ever since the death of his twin sister at the hands of one. He does not care if they have committed a crime or not.
Richard is a very old vampire who is attacked by Josh. Richard has suffered a great loss of his own many years before. He knocks Josh out and takes him home.
I liked that when Josh came to he did not automatically fall for or believe Richard. Richard’s tale was as heart-breaking as Josh’. Even with their differences the two men find common ground over the loss of loved ones and form a bond.
But people from Josh’s hunter group think Josh has gone soft and so in turn make a plan to draw him out and end him. I liked the story. It was well written with the right amount of romance, drama, suspense, action. The hunters were vicious. Josh learns that he may have been a pawn in the destruction of innocent vampires by the leader of the hunters.

Review: A wonderful tale about a prince who deceives the republic to free the desert dwellers once and for all. Dastyaf is a human warlord, personal protector of Amirzade Sharouk, the prince, and is tasked to work Nills to get the prince back from a powerful leviathan.
Dastyaf’s takes merman form to be able to track down the Leviathan and struggles to adapt to the new form. Nills and Dastyaf work together to find the creature and get the prince back.
Such an amazing journey for these two men who have to learn to tolerate each other at first then as the mystery of why the creature took the prince and the ongoing tracking they grow closer. The environment under the sea had an almost mystical quality to it and held me spellbound in its details.

Review: Another fantastic addition to the Two Spirits series as everything comes to an epic countdown. I was truly impressed with both Aidan and Murphy and all they have been through and survived.
There was a twist at the end that I never saw coming and it took me by surprise. I love this series so much as it’s more than romance. It has adventure, mystery, suspense and action all rolled into one. I am so looking forward to reading the next book.
