One by one, he’s killing them. Lurking in the digital underworld of Men4HookUpNow.com, he lures, seduces, charms, reaching out through instant messages to the unwary. They invite him over. He’s just another trick. Harmless. They’re dead wrong.
When the first bloody body surfaces, openly gay Chicago Police Department detective Ed Comparetto is called in to investigate. Sickened by the butchered mess of one of his brothers left on display in a bathtub, he seeks relief outside where the young man who discovered the body waits to tell him the story of how he found his friend. But who is this witness…and did he play a bigger part in the murder than he’s letting on?
Comparetto is on a journey to discover the truth, a truth that he needs to discover before he loses his career, his boyfriend, his sanity…his life. Because in this killer’s world, IM doesn’t stand for instant message…it stands for instant murder.
Warning: Graphic depictions of violence and mutilation, murder, pedophilia, scene of underage rape

Prince Owin
Being a fierce predator—not at all adorable, despite my graceful stature—the last thing I needed was a bodyguard. Especially a wolf shifter, whose presence alone was an insult to my princely principles. As Prince of the Ocelot Shifters, I prided myself on my infallible feline instincts, uncompromisable dignity, and flawless fashion sense. If having a canine follow me around at all times wasn’t bad enough, I now faced the most important moment of my entire life. The time had come to prove I was worthy of my crown. If only I could find a way to get rid of the pesky bodyguard.
Grimmwolf
When the King of All Shifters asked me to guard Prince Owin, I admit I had no idea what to expect. Cat shifters tend to be a little intense, not to mention kinda cranky. Owin was no exception, though he seemed crankier than most. Being his bodyguard was proving to be one of the greatest challenges of my life—but not nearly as great as convincing him there was something special between us. When Owin is faced with a perilous quest to prove his worth, I was determined to keep him safe, even if the same couldn’t be said of my heart.

Seattle boy Emerson Oakley is about to find that the strangest thing about his first year at West Virginia’s Vance University isn’t the neighbor in the next dorm over, who ghosts him after one kiss. It’s the fact that he keeps having his life saved by a stranger who seems to know about each accident before it happens.
Morrie Crisp, whose moth-person powers finally emerged at the most inconvenient time, is just trying to figure out how to deal with their crush on the boy next door, and all the different ways they’ve seen him die.
As Emerson tries to get to the bottom of who his pre-cog savior could be, his relationship with Morrie becomes extra complicated as their undeniable attraction to one another becomes a liability to both. The Perils of Intimacy

Mark believes he’s meeting Jimmy for the first time in the diner where he works, but he’s wrong. Mark has no recollection of their original encounter because the wholesome Jimmy of today couldn’t be more different than he was two years ago. Back then, Jimmy sported multiple piercings and facial hair. He was painfully skinny—and a meth addict. The drug transformed him into a lying, conniving thief.
Mark doesn’t associate the memory of a hookup gone wrong with this fresh-faced twenty-something… but Jimmy knows. Can Mark see Jimmy for the man he is now and not the addict he was? The answers depend on whether true love holds enough light to shine through the darkness of past mistakes.
Warning: Graphic depiction of intravenous drug use
Blurb: Drindyr Duke Dravyn D’Vairedraconis is a quiet man who finds happiness amongst his plants. His affinity for living things astonishes those around him since he doesn’t have a drop of druidic blood in his veins. Awed by his talent, his family grows convinced that someday when Fate pairs him, it will be a druid that is at his side. Someone to care for and who shares his love of gardening would be a dream come true for Dravyn.
Killian the Dwyer is a man broken and his secrets are plenty. Once the leader of the Circle of Druids, he handed off his duties and escaped, his whereabouts unknown. Rumors abound that he makes his home high in a tree in a faraway land. He is missed, and many who care for him reach out to no avail. Full of pain and taking comfort in his solitude, Killian only leaves the sanctity of his leafy abode to answer an invitation he finds himself unable to ignore.
Killian makes his first public appearance in centuries, and when he locks eyes with Dravyn, they discover they are mates. Astonished, neither man says a word and Killian retreats. Two and a half years of silence on Killian’s part have passed, and Dravyn is tired of waiting. He wants the other half of his soul but is convinced Killian won’t do for the job. Fearful of what the future holds but afraid of defying Fate, Killian cannot help being intrigued by the talented dragon. As they settle in Dravyn’s expansive garden, if the pair can find common ground, they might just discover the seeds to grow a love without limits.
Review: Killian has dealt with a lot in his lifetime and as a result has resided alone in his tree for a long time. When he meets his mate Dravyn he is stunned but decides not to say anything. For two years Dravyn writes the man with no response. Then Dravyn’s friends go and find Killian and convince his to come to D’Vaire. From there things get interesting.
I loved this story. Dravyn certainly made Killian work for his forgiveness which I was glad for. Killian for his part starts to realize what he almost lost and does what he can to get Dravyn to forgive him. But this story is more than that. It’s about alliances and foes and surprises that I never saw coming.
I have enjoyed this series from the beginning and the enjoyment just keeps on coming book after book. I have to admit to not liking Aloisa when she was first introduced. Her attitude towards others was atrocious at times. Now after this story I understood a little better.
It’s a fascinating addition to the series that was wonderful to read.
Blurb: Shunned by his pack for being born without feet and suspected of being an omega wolf, Devyn had a lucky escape when he was found and raised by a bear shifter. Now twenty six years old, Devyn fills his days carving elegant items of furniture out of wood, catering to the rich who can afford his custom pieces. It’s a quiet life, but a good life and Devyn never imagined it changing in any way, until his fated mate walked in the door.
Rex would be the first to admit he cruised through life since leaving his father’s pack at eighteen. Yes, he was born an alpha, but he wasn’t interested in running a pack. He was happy living with his beta brother, running his bar, and falling in with hook ups when the mood struck him – which was often. But when he was called to a furniture shop by his latest hook up, supposedly to help move a bed, he never imagined he’d finally find someone he wanted to hold onto. Someone who made his alpha wolf stand up and take notice.
Life should’ve been easy once the misunderstandings concerning a proposal, Devyn’s role in their relationship, and other trivial matters had been resolved. But the evil that shadowed both their pasts, is now back on the scene wanting Devyn dead and Rex fulfilling responsibilities he’d never asked for. Throw a magic user in the mix, and it’s going to take more than Devyn’s deft hand on his wheelchair to work things out.
Review: Rex and his brother left their pack when they became adults. They had a good life, but life seems to always come up with a surprise. When Sloan tried to propose to him in a warehouse for tax time, he knew he had to change a part of his life. What he had not expected was the sexy little wolf shifter being his mate, nor of his mate not being able to walk.
Devyn’s pack had left him for dead when he was a few days old, all because his legs were deformed and he had no feet. A bear shifter found him and became the father he knew now. Then walks in a big ass alpha wolf whose head needed to be knocked around saying they were mates.
Now for most shifters they would meet, mate and have some sexy times. But wolves are a bit strange it seems, then add in one grumpy papa bear and well it is going to get messy. You get a bit of feelings from Rex, but he just doesn’t seem to have a true connection with Devyn that one would expect. Then there is the fact that he is alpha but comes off more like a beta, until he stands up to another beta. I also didn’t care for the magic users at all and wished they had been ditched. I did like Devyn quite a bit and his papa bear definitely wins favors.
It was an interesting story that had a few errors in it but they were not taking away from this story. However I will say that there was something missing in the story that would have normally made it stand out more.
I did enjoy reading it and look forward to reading more from this series. I can also say that it is one of those stories that will be read many times over.
Blurb: Jason Jachovich never dreamed he’d be sold to the Psy only to be turned into a monster from an old Hollywood movie. When the Psy try to use him and the other humans they changed in a war with other paranormals, Jason manages to get free, only to watch as the others like him die in a war they didn’t want to be a part of.
The Alliance is stunned to see what the Psy have created in their attempt to defeat the Alliance. In order to defeat the were-creatures the Psy have sent to fight, the Alliance must kill them, but one manages to survive. Dr. Adam Pratt is sent to study this were-creature in hopes of saving any more they come across. What he didn’t expect was to find his mate and become willing to do anything to save him.
This is the second edition of the original 2014 release. Although there are no significant changes to the story, it has been re-edited and revised.
Review: Jason, one of the Psy’s experiments, wakes up not knowing where he is. He only knows there is a lovely smell and a heavenly voice calling to him. At first he is terrified until the man tells him everything will be alright. Adam is happy he met his mate Jason but is concerned for his welfare at the same time. The two try and help the other understand things that are happening.
There is a lot that happens throughout this story. From confrontations others to rescue missions without planning there is an adrenaline rush as different characters play a role in bringing each scene to stunning life. Action packed and suspenseful this book packs a punch.
I loved everything about the book. I am looking forward to reading about the many characters that were rescued as well as Maui and Ian as in this story we find out they are mates.
Blurb: As part of the investigation into the murder of a young woman, Seattle P.I. Tony DeMarco poses as a patient of Dr. Jack Halloran, the therapist who treated the victim at a Seattle sex clinic. This isn’t the first time Tony has gone undercover, but it’s the first time he’s wanted to go under cover with one of his suspects. He can’t help it—Jack Halloran is just the kind of steely-eyed hero Tony goes for. But he’ll have to prove Halloran’s innocence and keep the doctor from finding out about his ruse before he can play Romeo.
Dr. Halloran has his own issues, including a damaged right arm sustained in the line of duty as a combat surgeon in Iraq and the PTSD that followed. He’s confused to find himself attracted to a new patient, the big, funny Italian with the puppy-dog eyes, and Tony’s humor slips right past Jack’s defenses, making him feel things he thought long buried. But can the doctor and the P.I. find a path to romance despite the secrets between them?
Review: Private Investigator Tony has been asked to look into the death of a young woman, a young woman who apparently committed suicide; it leads Tony to go undercover as a patient at a Seattle sex clinic and getting him help for his own little problem. Tony doesn’t believe that the doctor who treated the young woman, Jack Halloran, was involved but he wants to make sure he doesn’t miss anything and that it isn’t his attraction to the doctor clouding his judgment. Jack has his own issues, injured in the line of duty as a combat surgeon; he has lost all confidence in his own appeal and becomes confused by his attraction to his new patient, Tony.
This is a great story that has some brilliant humorous moments including an Italian mother who has no boundaries. Tony is a great character who puts his all into solving his clients cases, his newest case is a puzzle though, and no matter the alibi, he still suspects the husband. Going undercover Tony wants to discover just what treatment the dead woman received, but he gets a surprise of his own when his own little problem rears its ugly head. Jack is a man who has had his confidence knocked, forced to change his speciality he is now a sex counsellor and is intrigued by his new patients problem, but he also find himself attracted to the man.
This is a great novella that has some incredible sexual tension and a pretty good investigation. Tony is a character that you fall in love with, he is so cute with his blushes and embarrassment and his intense attraction to Jack. Jack is a man who has had some hard knocks, but he is so nice that you want him to break the rules for Tony. Tony’s investigation is great but the budding relationship with Jack is better, both of them entwine and I loved Jack’s reaction to the truth about Tony.
I recommend this to those that love humorous private investigators, hot doctors, great sex, an interesting storyline and a very amusing ending.
Blurb: Jigger is in a new band as a new council member with new friends and now a new mate and his father isn’t taking any of this well and is threatening his new life. The fear is real for both himself and his mate. Having a disability and only being a small fisher cat isn’t going to be much help and he doesn’t know if there’s much Alaska can do, even if he is a bad ass Arctic peregrine falcon.
Review: Each of the Eclipse collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc I would suggest reading them in sequential order.
The Gods have rules and one of the rules is to not get involved in the live of those they helped create. However if they did not they would all die. So they got rid of the old council and brought in a whole new one. Most of those were unique and almost extinct. Jigger is one of those new council members. He doesn’t understand since he was weaker than many around. His legs did not work and he needed glasses. However he was smart, caring and asked the right questions. He was a fisher cat who was not a cat and did not like fish. He had a crush on one of the men in the group, Alaska. He just figured Alaska would not want someone like him.
Alaska wanted Jigger but was afraid he could never have him. After the gods news, well lets just say he wasn’t sure he had the right. Well he is in for a big surprise. Especially when the gods are involved.
I love how there is a special twist to this story for them all, but for Jigger mostly. I loved book one but damn this book was even better than the first. Jigger was a special young man who has had a hard life, but he is about to find out how special he is. This story gave me everything I could ask for. It was action packed, danger filled, excitement overload and lets not forget some hot sexy times. I absolutely loved it.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.
Blurb: When the only thing you’re good at is running or fighting, is a second chance at love even possible?
Captain Maddox Stone is ready to put the men who messed with his family on a fast train to hell. Eliminating the enemy is the only thing he’s good at anyway. He sure as hell isn’t good at connecting. Of course, on the heels of that thought, his past comes walking through the door. Will he finally have the guts to explain what really happened that night so long ago?
Nothing on earth could bring Lieutenant River Seeger back to the ranch until his grandfather calls for help. With no other recourse, he returns to the Triple R, but makes it clear it’s for a limited time. He’s left the past behind and with it, his youthful dreams. But, since he’s here, shouldn’t he at least get some answers?
Two soldiers faced with the past. One man struggles with a tragic secret while the other one demands answers. What’s even worse? When Maddox deploys on a mission and River takes on the kidnappers, time is running out for one of them. The only thing for certain is they’re definitely cutting it close for any chance at a happy ending.
In typical Reese Knightley style, Cutting It Close is a fast paced, slow burn, action & adventure romance with a big cast of characters and a definite HEA. This book is the first in a series, but can be enjoyed as a standalone.
*Cobalt Security, Code of Honor, and Out For Justice series are loosely connected.
Review: Captain Maddox Stone is back at the ranch to get to the bottom of financial problems the ranch is having. While there his cousin Triston is kidnapped and he is attacked. His business partner Bull calls his grandson Special Forces Lieutenant River Seeger who immediately comes home to help.
Maddox and River have a history that did not end well. But as the two team up to figure out what is going on the heat and attraction between them reignite. I loved this story. It had everything I love in a book. A romance that does not overshadow the actual story, action with a a mystery that is jaw dropping in it’s intensity. Tension that is off the charts and dangerous situation that leave you on the edge of your seat awaiting the outcome.
I am so looking forward to getting to know Rivers team members in more detail. Highly recommended.
