A collection of poems composed by over fifty authors in aid of the victims and survivors of the Orlando Pulse Attack.
On June 12, 2016, the most horrendous mass shooting in US history and an unfathomable act of hate was directed at the LGBT community in Orlando. The horror of this tragedy reverberated around the world, leaving millions shocked and appalled at the senseless violence that destroyed so many innocent lives.
In a display of solidarity with the victims and survivors of the Pulse nightclub shooting, a group of LGBTQ+ and straight allies, from all across the globe, came together to produce a collection of poems in celebration of love and acceptance.
The resulting Love is Love Poetry Anthology is dedicated to the families and victims of the shooting and all proceeds of this work will be donated to Equality Florida’s Pulse Victims Fund.
In this small way, the authors, along with the readers who purchase this work, seek to contribute to the lives of those who still suffer from the consequences of the malice directed toward them, and offer some positivity and compassion in the face of such bigotry.

Review: I really do love reading Kate McMurray’s books – they are pure joy to read. Despite the fact this has a few glaring holes in the plot, I have to say that overall I enjoyed reading The Greek Tycoon’s Green Card Groom. Lately I’ve been drawn to any MM book that reminds me of the classic Mills and Boon trashy romance. Based on that fact alone and that is all you expect to get, you will be satisfied by this book. If you want to look for deeper meaning, well, let’s just say what you see is what you get.
The story follows Archie Katsaros – really Archimedes and that reminds me of the ‘The Once and Future King/Sword in the Stone’ more than it does a Greek Tycoon – he’s running the family’s business. In fact, he’s trying to keep it afloat after his father’s death while trying to live up to the lofty expectations set by himself while idolizing a father who perhaps did not deserve such devotion from his son.
Then there is Ondrej Kovac. He’s Polish and wants to move to the US to be free of his family’s stifling expectations and to be himself, which means he wants to be free to love who he wants to love because his family will never accept his sexuality. When Ondrej’s work visa comes to an end, he and Archie embark on a harebrained scheme – Archie will marry Ondrej to give him a green card and Ondrej will provide Archie with the funds he needs to save the family company.
It’s fun to see the guys get to know each other. Archie is really just a teddy bear and needs the support of someone like Ondrej to bolster his confidence. Ondrej is quick as a whip and super intelligent, and somehow that is just the perfect match for Archie. As they get to know each other it’s fun to watch the sparks begin.
As I said, there are some plot holes, though I was largely happy with the character and plot development. It is more so down to the fact that the silly boys needed to communicate more and because some of the situations felt a little too contrived. The other thing is that calling Archie a Greek Tycoon is like me saying I’m Italian when I’m first generation out of Italy on one side of my family – his father was Greek and his mother’s family was some big deal New York family from way back.
I suppose that was disappointing because part of me was hoping for endearments like agápi mou or agapiméni – because that is honestly what I have come to expect of Greek Tycoons from reading romance.

This is the first book in The Vampire Guard series. I did not know how I’d feel about this book due to this is the first one I have read by this author but man was I surprised. It had everything I could want in a story and then some. Mystery, deception, hot paranormal men, action, suspense and adventure. This story wraps the reader in a world that is anything but ordinary.
I really enjoyed getting to know the MC’s of this book and their partners. Jonas is a vampire and a cop and stops at nothing to solve a crime. Blair, a vampire, technician and Jonas’ partner seemed unsure of himself except when it came to solving a crime, though I understood as he was still in the ‘newbie phase’ as I call it.
Declan, a vampire, was one of the most mysterious of the characters. That was due to his work before. It added a level of danger and anticipation that I enjoyed. He seemed nice but yet cold as ice when the situation was necessary. Lucas is a werewolf, medical examiner. Declan’s partner and Jack’s best friend.
I loved the interactions between these men and was stunned as to how well they all worked together. I think that the group that wanted to recruit them could have just asked them rather than lie and kidnap them. The mystery of the book was well written and riveting. I enjoyed the folklore and legend involved and was astounded as to what actually happened.
This book will captivate you from the start and have you reading until the very end to find out the end result. With brilliantly detailed scenes that leave you holding your breath to the actual details of the crimes this book was a winner to me if I could give it 10 stars I would.
I am so glad I had the opportunity to read such an amazing story. I am looking forward to reading more of this series. Highly recommended.

I fully concur with Shorty’s review; Elizabeth Noble has, yet again, written an amazing story that you can lose yourself in. The characters shine yet again (The Sleepless City series 2 & 4) and we see them as they embark on a new adventure as they take their unique skills and use them for the greater good.
The best thing for me though is catching up with Jonas, Blair, Lucas and Declan again and seeing how their relationships have continued to be strong and loving. I seriously can’t wait to see what Elizabeth and The Vampire Guard series has in store for us next!
I recommend this to those who love paranormal stories with added mystery, who adore characters that come alive before your eyes, who fangirl/boy over amazing storylines and for those who love it when myth and legend surprises even the most jaded of paranormals!

Kaden Pace, a soldier injured while on a mission, hides the extent of his damage by wearing his high-tech armor, desperate to prove his worth to his administrators and make himself useful in order to hold on to his independence. But during a simple assignment to escort two cadets across the country to retrieve the armor of a dead warrior, things start to fall apart.
They meet Shun, a young man with a secret, who steals the armor they were supposed to recover. Chasing Shun brings them to an abandoned beach town, where they encounter even more trouble. Stranded in the deserted city, Kaden finds himself relying more and more on Shun, the person he’d come to capture, while fighting off an invasion from the neighboring country.
But even when he returns to his camp, Kaden’s problems are not over. Now he has to find a way to save Shun, whom he’s growing to care for, and keep his team alive as they make one last-ditch attempt to get back the armor Shun stole.
