Blurb: One feisty shoe-loving fae might be just what this shoe store owner needs to get back on track…if he doesn’t kill the fae first.

Randal Tobit has recently taken over his father’s shoe store, On Your Sole, and is trying to make his father proud after his recent divorce from a woman his dad liked. The job is easy, but only because of the man his father hired and will not give Randal permission to fire under any circumstances.

Casey is helpful and happy, bordering on obnoxiously so. He’s a morning person and he loves shoes, which makes him perfect for the store, but not so much for Randal, who prefers to be barefoot when he can’t wear flip flops.

When the store is vandalized and Casey offers his help, Randal makes a bargain with him—one that he probably would have reconsidered if he’d had any idea what Casey actually was…

Review:  Randal is now the proud owner of On Your Sole shoe store, when his father handed it over to him.  He had this feisty and goofy worker that helped him along.  Casey was something else, but Randal had a rule.  No dating employees, but then the store is vandalized.  All Casey wants is one date, and well you will see.

I have been reading a few books by this author and haven’t really cared for them at all.  So when I was handed this book, I was expecting something else.  This one actually was pretty damn good.  Casey is fae and his father is fae king, so there is a bit of surprise inside this book for you that will have you laughing your ass off, or wanting to smack someone.  It is a fun book and I would definitely recommend it.

Blurb: Roughneck Riders are not an MC club you mess with, least of all their rough and tough gang leader Heavy. But Heavy has a secret that has to be kept, no matter what—his heart belongs to a man. It shouldn’t. He’s supposed to be into women, like the other guys in the club. Junk is just too cute to resist, though. Add in his delectable body, his sweet submission and his willingness to accept Heavy’s sadism, and the couple are a perfect match.

Junk’s a probie, proving his worth to the club and demonstrating his mechanical know-how. He’s lived on the edge for a long time, flitting from one place to the next. But now that he’s settling in as a Roughneck, life is looking up. Not least because he’s in love—soul-eating, cock-thickening obsessive love. He can’t tell anyone about his desire for Heavy, but what he can do is push his lover’s buttons, all day, in full view of everyone, until he’s damned sure the night will bring a whole host of sinful delights and wicked punishments that will leave him marked, bruised and most of all, wholly satisfied.

Review: When you hear about a Biker gang, they are believed to be tough, no holds barred men and they’re proud of that status. Heavy, being the leader of the Roughneck Riders is brutal and private in his business dealings concerning their club, and also with his relationship with the club’s mechanic, Junk. For them, being gay in a gang as dangerous as the Roughneck riders can mean death for both of them.

The way that this story ended was very much expected on my part, because for them. There is no happy ending. They have to keep their relationship secret and go with the status quo. Heavy have to keep up his persona that he can have the pick of any woman in the club, but who he really wants in his bed is Junk. He’s jealous that he has to stand and watch Heavy with the women. When they do find the time to sneak away from the club and be together, Heavy makes sure to show Junk who is, and forever will be the his Boss.

Review:  This is a very unique type of story that I have not had the pleasure of reading before.  I was pleased and, well, not so pleased with it.  Although I have to admit that I did like most of the book.  It is very entertaining and there is quite a bit of surprise and some suspense going on for the two sexy men.  I liked the concept that this book gave and can say that I wished we had it going on.  Let’s just say this year should be fixed.  It is a very interesting plot and I was surprised to find that I had a bit more fun than I would have expected.

Drake has been brought into the Oracle Group.  He is one of the top doctors in History one could say.  Jen is the one who recruited him, but they have become a very hot couple.  Sent back in time to fix the mistakes of time travelers is what they do.  Drake is the one who goes into the past, whereas Jen is the one who keeps him focused.  Sent back to the time of a plague has Jen scared to death.  Not of the actual mission but of the fact they have no clue what they are looking for.

Now the story itself progressed pretty fast however it was missing quite a bit to make it a top rated story.  I feel that it could have had more content, especially in the end.  It felt like it just ended too fast and there are no signs of a continued story to get further into.  Also you see when our sexy men meet, straight to sex and then into a relationship.  There was no build-up, no development, were thrown into a story right off the bat.  For me I wanted to see that build-up, that development, I also wanted to see a better ending then was given.

You do get a happily ever after but it just came off very rushed and I saw several sections that could have been expanded to make it a five heart review.  Other than those issues I saw with it, the story is quite interesting and I did have fun reading it.

Review: I loved this cute, sweet story of Casey waking up from a night out drinking with friends to discover he has a tattoo and a hot driver named Ed in his home and vague memories of the before. Ed is attracted to Casey from the start. But being the gentleman he is he refuses to take advantage of Casey. Even so Casey wants Ed but Ed explains he wants something more than a one off.

I loved how these two interacted with each other. The slow build up to them finally coming together was awesome, The paranormal aspect was intriguing. A mystic tattoo parlor that seems to come and go and a mysterious man named Gene to boot. I’m sure we’ll learn more about him as the series progresses.

Needless to say I loved the entire book. With plenty of sweet, hot scenes and mystery just had me on the edge of my seat awaiting the outcome. It was truly a wonderful story.

Highly recommended.

Review: Mitchell has sworn off one night stands even though he’s at a bar drowning his pain. Sammi, an escaped sex slave with an unusual gift, walks in survying the scene and determines Mitchell is the one he needs to pick up to get off the streets before Donovan finds him.

I felt anger and disgust on Sammi’s behalf for what has been done to him. People are not objects or property to be sold to the highest bidder or broken into to what someone else wants. I hated Donovan and his right hand man. Both were without conscience or compassion.

Mitchell is strong yet sweet and caring. He is drawn to Sammi from the start and takes him home. He finds out there’s more to Sammi than meets the eye. When trouble comes knocking, Sammi flees in an attempt to save Mitchell from getting into trouble.

I really loved the characters in this book. Even though they come from different backgrounds they are both broken to a degree. I adored the way they helped each other as the story progressed. It was a delightful story with plenty of suspense, romance and mystery.

Looking forward to the next one in the series. Fantastic read. Highly recommended.

Review: Such a wonderful story that had me from the start. Willem, upon his father’s death, inherits a cat, Puss. With no home or job Willem thinks he is losing his mind when the cat begins talking to him.

We learn who Puss really is as the story continues. I loved the details that went into this story. From the ex, to the goddess everything had me spellbound. Review: I have read many books from this author and I love all of her books. Eli tells us his life story about his family and the Love of his life Jesse. They’ve both known each other and have been friends from kindergarten through High school and are now lovers. Jesse doesn’t have a good relationship with his family and decides that he wants to leave the town that they live in and go follow his dreams on the rodeo circuit and wants Eli to go with him.

Eli can’t go with Jesse as he has to take of the family ranch and his mom and siblings. I found that Jesse is very self-centered, he’s off living his dreams, and wants Eli to wait for him and doesn’t care that he’s breaking Eli’s heart. Eli decides that the time has come that he will either have to talk with Jesse about their relationship, that is if they still have one together, or let Jesse go so that he can live his life on the circuit.

As with all of this author’s books, I would gladly recommend this book to whoever wants a short story about partners that have to find the way back together.

Review: I love a story that has a twist that takes me by surprise as this one did. Joey is on the verge of death but manages to escape his captors and hide out in a cave to recover. Unbeknownst to him it’s Vance’ private spot where he can get away from his pride and reflect on things. Vance finds Joey but is unable to make him leave due to the pull he feels.

As the story progresses we learn what happened to Joey and who exactly caused it. I loved the tense nature in this story. It kept me intrigued and engaged to know exactly what happened. The twists and turns just kept on coming.

Review: Another fantastic fairy-tale inspired book. I loved the impaired twins, Snowden and Rowan. Review: An amazing journey into the lives of two powerful angels that spans centuries. Archangel Michael has been secretly enamoured of the morning star, Lucifer. When first they meet it seems as if Michael has lost his chance forever but Lucifer seeks him out, and so a hot and passionate relationship starts between the two.

It was a book about taking chances, heartbreak, tragedy, love and doing what you think is right for the one you love. A lot happens throughout this wonderfully written story. Though I’m not going to give anything away needless to say I was impressed by how each man was portrayed. Although I must admit I was a little put off by how Michael seemed so shy around Lucifer at first but it was to be expected.

There were a few questions left unanswered so maybe a sequel or follow up book? Who knows. Aside from that I loved the entire story. It states that this book can be read as a stand-alone yet is in fact connected to the series Heavenly Sins. I did not read that series so some characters that came into play were written as though I should know them already in certain situations. I wish I had read the series.

The whole story was a gripping epic tale that took me by the most delightful surprises. I never knew what decisions each person was going to make when it came to the difficult ones, which thrilled me. There is not always happy times but they eventually get there. I loved it.

Highly recommended.

Review: I’ve read a few books by this author already and I’m always in-love with the characters. I ABSOLUTELY love this series. Was very sorry when the story ended.

Ravinder and Alfred (from Intoxication 1) are the best of friends, they’ve known each other for years and share most of the same interests. Now that Alfred is getting married Ravinder is doing his Best man duties for Alfred’s up-coming Wedding and Ravinder is seeing the Green eye-monster. As they work together to complete the job that Thaddeus is hired to do, they can’t resist the heat between them. Will Ravinder find his Cum Whisperer?

I love this series and recommend that it should be read in order.

Review: Isiah and Claudius look exactly alike except for they are not family. Mitch, a human, needs somewhere to live. His friend introduces him to the twins who happen to have an extra room. The price, watch over the twins as their guardian.

I loved this book. It has so many twists and turns that left me holding my breath and surprised. Someone wants the twins dead. One of those someone’s is Gabriel, Isiah’s cousin. But alas all is not as it seems. There is more going on than even these men know.

There is corruption, action, suspense, romance all throughout. I found myself immersed in the story before I knew it and was not disappointed with the direction it took. I’m very glad this is a series so there will be more to come.

Kimball made a promise to his fiancé that he’d come back in one piece and not watch his partner’s ass, but he isn’t sure he’ll be able to keep the latter. Darien and Kimball have been best friends for five years and, at a Christmas party several months ago, they shared a kiss that left an indelible mark on their relationship.

This latest mission calls for focus and calmer heads if they are to find the offenders who are bringing illegal drugs into Russia. The question is, how can they do it with mutual feelings and the threat of extreme danger looming over their heads?

Review: Kimball and Darien are two of the top agents in PROTEKT. They are the best of the best and damn good at their jobs. Attraction leads to a kiss at a party and then leads to the men hiding their feelings. Kimball is in a relationship and Darien is a love ‘em and leave them type. They have so far been able to avoid the other since the kiss until now.

A new mission throws the two men together again and tensions are high when a threat emerges to eliminate anyone who stands in their way. It is a race against the clock to discover who the culprits are before anyone is killed. Meanwhile Kimball has secrets that are best kept hidden for everyone’s safety.

I loved this book. Mystery, suspense, action and drama are entwined into an amazing plot that keeps the reader spellbound as we see how everything plays out. This is brilliantly written with the right amount of snark and angst from Darien as well as the seriousness from Kimball for one hot ride into the unknown.

The actual mission is proceeded with extreme caution by the time team as well as unknown persons at work with PROTEKT. All the characters had their roles to play and boy did they play them well. I usually guess what all is happening well before the end but this story had me guessing about some things until they revealed.

I cannot say enough good things about this book to do it justice so just go read it. Fantastic story all around. Highly recommended.

Review:  Each book in the Shifter Protection Specialists Inc. collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I am fascinated with the worlds and characters that this author has written about.  There are very few good romance books that involve such different types of shifters, that when one comes out I just have to read it.  In this one our hero is one nice sexy king cobra shifter, who has a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

I love how there is a serious tone to it, but that it is equally matched with humor. I can’t stand a book that has no humor in it; I would rather be laughing then just sitting there.  There is always lust, love, hot sex and a good amount of danger placed in these stories that keeps my attention as well.

Casey and Khan had met at a club some time ago, but the moment Casey mentioned scientist and experiments Khan had ran.  He hadn’t listened to why Casey was interested in snake shifter venom.  However over time, he wanted to give him a chance but he used a different name.  So when time came by for him to reveal himself, well Casey did what any good human would do.  Now it is going to take time to trust each other once more, but first they have to get rid of his creepy ex-boyfriend and the danger that is coming for them all.

Khan had his family try to kill him when it showed how powerful a snake he was, then sold to scientist so he was not going to be placed into that position again.  The problem was Casey just might be his mate.  Then when he finds out why it is so important, well you have to read the book to find out.

To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me. I love them especially when there are some gorgeous men in some kinky situations. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story.

I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: I have to say that I picked this book just because of the series name.  The title came next, I knew it was going be so good and let’s just say it was.  There is a serious tone to it but the humor was equal maxed for a reader.  I really loved Kale’s brother’s reaction to Alexsi’s tiger.  That rocked the whole book and I spent most of the time laughing my ass off.

This book caught my attention from the moment I started reading and I couldn’t put it down.  It gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more.  You don’t read many saber-tooth tiger shifters in stories so it was very unique and made me want it just a bit more.  I enjoyed the way the characters just seem to mesh with each other.  It is action packed and fully developed for a better story.  I loved the world that this author created and the guys just brought out a smile in me.

Kale is a sexy little model, who has a very demented psycho coming after him.  He is not too worried, but his brother is freaked out.  So he now has one hell of a hot bodyguard pretending to be his lover, but it isn’t a stretch to make it real.  Alexsi is turned on by just looking at the man, but he is bound and determined to keep him safe.

This was an amazing story that I can see will make the top five favorite’s list of mine.  It is also going to be one of those stories that gets read many times over.  I had a lot of fun with it and look forward to reading the next book.

I would definitely recommend it.

Review:  Each book in the Shifter Protection Specialists Inc. collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I started reading romance stories at the age of twelve and was always intriqued by the worlds that authors can come up with. Then a few years ago I read my first gay romance and I decided that there was just something about them that I liked more.  There is just something about the worlds that this author creates that keeps me captivated throughout the whole entire book. So much so that when a new book comes out, I must always start reading the very first book that leads up to this one.

I love how there is a serious tone to it, but that it is equally matched with humor. I can’t stand a book that has no humor in it; I would rather be laughing then just sitting there.   There is always lust, love, hot sex and a good amount of danger placed in these stories that keeps my attention as well.

George’s brother had given him a flash drive that might just get him killed by his own father.  So after many twists and turns, he ends up going to find the bodyguards a friend told him about.  He needed help and fast.  I am going to take a page from a friend; George’s father is a seriously evil man who hated shifters.  Even with his father gunning for him, he still comes off as a smart ass.  However the man staring at him might just like that smart ass.

Scott is surrounded by shifters but he is the only one that can’t shift.  His older brother founded this company and Scott ran it as best he could.  He had many shifter brothers who worked with him.  So when this very sexy man ran in, something in him snapped.  Not to mention the fact that the guy was downright terrified.

Blurb: It’s just another normal day for a not-so-normal fairy.

Allegro Romani is a fairy. Literally. Disowned by his family because of his sexual orientation, he’s left the Fae realm for Earth. He’s done all right for himself, establishing a small store in a paranormal-friendly town. He’s even made a few friends, despite his awkward social skills. But one day a week, everything goes to hell.

Alli is a Fayte, and they don’t tend to fare very well out of the magic-laden air of their homeworld. Once a week, their body rebels, and the result? A day full of the worst luck imaginable. For Alli, that day is always Friday. He’s come to dread them and would, in fact, spend every Friday tucked up in bed with the covers over his head if he could. But he’s found out from past experience that it doesn’t help, so now he just grits his teeth and tries to get through Friday without killing himself. Or someone else.

Then, one particular Friday, his bad luck results in something surprisingly good. He meets a gorgeous bear shifter named Michael. And despite seeing him at his worst, Michael isn’t running in the opposite direction. In fact, he’s chasing Alli down with resolve and determination.

Now Alli just has to find a way to keep his bear shifter, get rid of the trouble plaguing him, and figure out who wants him out of Putman County for good. It’s enough to make any sane fairy run for the hills. Fortunately, Alli has never been accused of being particularly sane. And with his bear at his side, Alli is determined to hang onto his new life. Review: Alli is one nutty fairy who can cause trouble just by stepping across the room.  He is a disaster waiting.  He is also one very cute and sweet young man, who was thrown out of the Fae realm for being gay.  He is doing pretty good in the human world, that is if you don’t count the little bit of trouble he causes, especially on Fridays when his power is at full speed.  However he is also very lonely and misses his family.

Mike is a bear shifter who just wants to live in the woods where he can let Bruce loose.  Yeah he named his bear.  What is funny about him is he sucks at hunting and fishing.  He is also very quirky and so is his entire family.  He saves one sexy fairy from certain death, and finds himself pretty attracted to the man.  However this town is crazy and he ends up being a baby sitter while the man healed.  Then danger shows up and you guessed it one very pissed off bear.  You have to wait and see what happens next.

Now this is the second book by this author that I have read and let’s just say I am becoming a fan.  I also did love a good paranormal romance, but when you add danger and funny situations well I am hooked.  I don’t much care for sappy romances, but a book with a lot of humor in it is going to be read more than once.

I was glad to see that this book was going to be a series, because I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.  This one rocked and I had so much fun with it.  That was when I wasn’t laughing my ass off at some of the situations are guys got into.  You guys have got to read this book, I recommend it.
